This study focuses on developing the appropriate infrastructure between Poland and Ukraine to enable the import and export of hydrogen, ensuring EU consumers have access to sufficient quantities. Such infrastructure is crucial in achieving climate neutrality goals, as it will serve as a key transit area for hydrogen, thereby contributing to sustainable energy development in Europe. To address this, the article reviews existing solutions for hydrogen transportation via pipelines and proposes mapping the hydrogen transportation system between Poland and Ukraine. Specifically, it examines the possibility of constructing a hydrogen pipeline from Ukraine to Poland, with potential connections to the designated hydrogen supply corridors of the European Hydrogen Backbone (EHB) infrastructure. Through the use of Python-created maps and algorithms, the study demonstrates how a hydrogen supply corridor can be established between Poland and Ukraine and effectively integrated with the broader EU hydrogen supply corridors. Furthermore, the article discusses the complex challenges involved in building hydrogen pipelines, particularly the unification of design standards between EU and non-EU countries. Equally critical is the management of hydrogen export and import, given that no platform currently exists between Poland and Ukraine for this purpose. The integration of hydrogen pipeline transport systems is thus highlighted as a matter of international importance, providing a platform for cooperation between the two countries and facilitating the creation of a hydrogen corridor linked to the EU infrastructure. An original contribution of this study is the presentation of a map illustrating the potential corridor connecting the hydrogen pipeline systems between countries, along with the development of algorithms using Python, which open up possibilities for future expansion of the map.

In the exploitation of machinery and equipment, one of the most important parameters is the dynamic state of the object. Observing residual processes is the most popular method of assessing the dynamic state. In particular, dynamic residual processes are a carrier of diagnostic information. Measuring the vibrations and noise of working mini-mining machines provides knowledge about the dynamics of the assessed machinery. Many years of knowledge and experience have allowed for the creation of diagnostic procedures. Within most machines used in the industry, the procedures considered standard allow for an effective diagnostic assessment and optimal management of mini-mining machine exploitation. The applicability of these standards is quite wide. However, there are machines with parameters that prevent the application of said standards. Mini-mining machines used in subterranean mining are one of these machines. In the case of diagnostic assessment of continuous miners, chain conveyors, as well as other machinery used in the technological chain, the usage of assessment brackets consistent with adopted standards is incorrect. In the diagnostic assessment of these types of mini-mining machines, an analysis of long-term trends is often used. The determination of acceptable vibration levels is obtained heuristically through observations of the damage up to the state of emergency. In the article, methods of mini mining machines state assessment using models of machine degradation, using Weibull distribution, are presented. The presented method has been used in real results of vibration measurement of underground machinery used in a coal mine. The analyses showed a large effectiveness of the presented method. In developed countries the salaries of office workers are several times higher than the total cost of maintaining and operating the building. Therefore even a small improvement in human work productivity and performance as a result of enhancing the quality of their work environment may lead to a meaningful economic benefits. The air temperature is the most commonly used indicator in assessing the indoor environment quality. What is more, it is well known that thermal comfort has the biggest impact on employees performance and their ability to work efficiently. In majority of office buildings, indoor temperature is managed by heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) appliances. However the way how they are currently managed and controlled leads to the nonhomogeneous distribution of temperature in certain space. An approach to determining the spatial variability of temperature in confined spaces was introduced based on thermal imaging temperature measurements. The conducted research and obtained results enabled positive verification of the method and creation of surface plot illustrating the temperature variability.

This article presents an economic analysis of the exploitation of the main mine drainage according to the condition of machines. The study is based on actual operating data obtained during the operation of an underground hard coal mine. Through the selection of state estimators, appropriate sensory systems, as well as a long-term economic approach, operating procedures were developed that allowed for the introduction of significant financial savings. Operating costs are reduced by lowering energy consumption and reducing the costs of current repairs and spare parts. In addition to the classic approach to monitoring the state of a machine, based on the observation of residual processes, a global coefficient, referred to as unit energy consumption, has been proposed. Thanks to this, the operation of the machine occurs not only on the basis of its current dynamic state, but also due to the control processes of the machine's operation. Mining machinery maintenance strategy based on the current dynamic condition of the equipment not only improves reliability, reduces repair and renovation costs, but also affects electricity costs. Due to the use of modern monitoring and diagnostic systems, as well as advanced control and supervision methods, it is possible to improve the efficiency of devices and thus reduce energy costs. Due to the high power of the devices, even a slight decrease in efficiency translates into significant financial resources. The paper presents application of a non-linear method (energy operator) to monitor the operation of a plain bearing. The possibility of using the energy operator to evaluate the energy of a simulated mechanical system was analysed. Then, an experiment was conducted in the laboratory environment which involved observation of oil vortexes. This allowed to show the possibility of using the energy operator as a descriptor of operating state of a hydrodynamic bearing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
