The newest among them today are the ultrasonically activated devices, which are utilized with a great deal of components in-play, including ergonomics and financial aspects amid surgery. The methodology embraced was finding significant investigations through studies from PubMed, Medline and Google Scholar on current ultrasonic dissectors, which are Ethicon’s Harmonic Scalpel (ACE®), Covidien’s Sonicision™ (SNC), Conmed’s SonoSurg® (SS) and Olympus’s Thunderbeat®, to describe their efficacy in terms of vessel sealing speed, vessel burst pressure, visibility, operation time and thermal speed. The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and International Deep Endometriosis Analysis (IDEA) group, the European Endometriosis League (EEL), the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), ESHRE, the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE), the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) elected an international, multidisciplinary panel of gynecological surgeons, sonographers, and radiologists, including a steering committee, which searched the literature for relevant articles in order to review the literature and provide evidence-based and clinically relevant statements on the use of imaging techniques for non-invasive diagnosis and classification of pelvic deep endometriosis. Preliminary statements were drafted based on review of the relevant literature. Following two rounds of revisions and voting orchestrated by chairs of the participating societies, consensus statements were finalized. A final version of the document was then resubmitted to the society chairs for approval. Twenty statements were drafted, of which 14 reached strong and three moderate agreement after the first voting round. The remaining three statements were discussed by all members of the steering committee and society chairs and rephrased, followed by an additional round of voting. At the conclusion of the process, 14 statements had strong and five statements moderate agreement, with one statement left in equipoise. This consensus work aims to guide clinicians involved in treating women with suspected endometriosis during patient assessment, counselling, and planning of surgical treatment strategies. Objective: Two‐dimensional (2D) transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) is an accessible and cost‐effective diagnostic tool for the detection of adenomyosis. Different ultrasound features related to adenomyosis have been described, but the predictive value of each ultrasound sign and their combinations requires further investigation. We aimed to analyze the accuracy of 2D‐TVS and describe possible combinations of ultrasound signs with a high predictive value in the diagnosis of adenomyosis. Methods: This was a prospective multicenter study of patients scheduled for laparoscopic hysterectomy who had been examined using standardized 2D‐TVS at nine expert centers specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. 2D‐TVS examination included nine typical adenomyosis ultrasound features, comprising heterogeneous myometrium, myometrial linear striations, myometrial cysts, subendometrial microcysts, asymmetrical myometrial thickening, uterine enlargement, the 'question mark sign', thickening of the junctional zone and hyperechoic myometrial spots, in order to predict or exclude the presence of adenomyosis. Ultrasound examination results were compared with histology after hysterectomy. The diagnostic reliability of the nine ultrasound signs and their combinations, and the influence of concurrent fibroids on the accuracy of the results, were analyzed. Results: A total of 202 patients were enrolled into the study. Histopathological examination revealed adenomyosis in 130 patients (64.4%). The accuracy of prediction of adenomyosis by 2D‐TVS examination using all signs was 63.4% (positive predictive value, 71.5%; negative predictive value, 48.6%; sensitivity, 71.5%; specificity, 48.6%). Heterogeneous myometrium, myometrial cysts, subendometrial microcysts and hyperechoic myometrial spots showed the highest accuracy (55.7–62.1%) as individual ultrasound signs for the prediction of adenomyosis. The combination of the most accurate ultrasound signs (subendometrial microcysts, myometrial cysts and heterogeneous myometrium) improved the specificity of prediction (86.1%) when compared with that of these three single markers (35.2–81.7%). Uterine enlargement and asymmetry showed both low sensitivity (60.8% and 52.3%, respectively) and specificity (41.7% and 49.3%, respectively) as individual sonographic signs. Conclusions: Heterogeneous myometrium, myometrial cysts, subendometrial microcysts and hyperechoic myometrial spots showed the highest accuracy for the detection of adenomyosis in this study, while uterine enlargement and asymmetry led to high false‐positive and false‐negative results. A combination of ultrasound features including the most accurate signs increases specificity. © 2023 The Authors. Background: Stress urinary incontinence is a frequent condition in female patients. Surgical treatment with tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) insertion is a minimally invasive option with immediate improvement of symptoms. Different possible complications have been described in the literature. Obturator nerve entrapment is a very rare complication of retropubic (rp) TVT insertion., Objectives: To show the feasibility of robotic-assisted laparoscopic mesh removal in a case of rpTVT-related entrapment of the left obturator nerve., Materials and Methods: We present the case of a 55-year-old patient who suffered from left obturator nerve dysfunction with adductor muscle atony and neuralgia after insertion of rpTVT five years earlier in an external hospital for urinary stress incontinence. We show the safety and feasibility of robotic-assisted nerve-sparing mesh removal., Main Outcome Measures: Post-interventional pain release and nerve and muscle function recovery., Results: Immediately after the surgical removal of the mesh and release of the left obturator nerve, the patient reported pain release and improvement of motoric function., Conclusions: Robotic-assisted surgery is a feasible minimally invasive alternative in the treatment of rpTVT-related obturator nerve entrapment.

Background: Several endometriosis classification systems have been proposed and published but the search for a universal language that communicates the complexity, laterality and severity of this disease continues. The authors introduce the Visual-Numeric Endometriosis Scoring System. VNESS is a novel system for describing surgical findings in each compartment of the pelvis in a way that is simple to use, visually intuitive and mirrors a laparoscopic image of the pelvis., Objective: The aim of this study was to assess inter-rater reliability for components of VNESS., Materials and Methods: The project took the format of a validation study using short surgical laparoscopic video clips. Anonymised video clips of endometriosis procedures were scored by 50 Gynaecologists of varying levels of experience from 12 different countries. The clips were collated from a series of procedures performed between 2012 and 2022. Each participant scored 93 short surgical clips using VNESS. 4650 scores were compared against a reference score and analysis was performed to assess inter-rater reliability., Main Outcome Measures: The outcome measures were percentage agreement between given and reference scores, as well as intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC), Cohen Kappa and Quadratic Weighted Kappa Coefficients calculated to evaluate inter-rater reliability., Results: The highest and lowest percentage agreement with the reference score was seen in VNESS 4 (full thickness disease, 97% perfect agreement) and VNESS 1 (superficial disease, 53% perfect agreement) respectively. The intraclass correlation coefficient showed strong inter-rater reliability for all VNESS compartments except the vagina., Conclusions: This study suggests that VNESS has excellent reliability between observers. Correlation is stronger with more severe disease.

Background: For more than 80 years, cystoscopy has been the gold standard for identification of urothelial carcinoma (UCa). Because of many factors, such as pain of the patients during this procedure or the costs involved, non-invasive detection of UCa remains a challenge. Herein, we verify our previously identified urinary biomarkers C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 16 (CXCL16) and transforming growth-factor beta induced protein (TGFBI) on the protein level as well as the CpG sites ALOX5, TRPS1 and an intergenic region on Chromosome 16 on DNA methylation level in an independent cross-sectional study., Methods: We collected N = 1119 urines from individuals coming to urological and gynecological check-ups, follow-up care or patients suspicious for UCa or already diagnosed for different urologic or gynecologic cancer entities. We performed methylation analysis of various CpG sites with DNA isolated from urine sediment and quantified the concentration of the protein markers CXCL16 and TGFBI in the corresponding urine supernatant using ELISA. We tested for patient-group differences with two-sided Wilcoxon rank sum tests and examined the performance with receiver operating characteristic curves. For verification, we analyzed the marker performance with previously set cutoff-values and marker combinations with established and experimental algorithms (with logical OR-conjunction, iterative threshold-based biomarker and score combining algorithm "PanelomiX")., Results: Evaluation confirmed that our previously identified protein and DNA methylation biomarkers can distinguish UCa from frequent urological and gynecological cancers. CXCL16 and TGFBI discriminated UCa cases with a sensitivity of 31% and 56% and a specificity of 94% and 85%, respectively. Combining methylation markers resulted in UCa detection in men with a sensitivity of 54% and a specificity of 94%. Extending analysis by combining all methylation and protein markers (up to five markers in total) yielded a convincingly high specificity of 97% at a sensitivity of 72% for the identification of UCa patients within a heterogeneous collective of cancer-free individuals and patients suffering from urological or gynecological cancers., Conclusion: Combining various biomarkers at protein and DNA level demonstrates a new option of non-invasive UCa diagnosis in urine, and thus might help to reduce the number of unnecessary cystoscopies, especially in patients without a history of UCa., Competing Interests: Declarations. Diaphragmatic endometriosis is one of the most common localization of extra-pelvic endometriosis and may cause debilitating symptoms such as cyclic shoulder pain, right upper abdominal pain, and right-sided chest pain. Diaphragmatic endometriosis may also be asymptomatic. The exact mechanisms by which diaphragmatic endometriosis originates are unknown. The high correlation between severe pelvic endometriosis and diaphragmatic endometriosis suggests that the latter originates from endometriotic cells that reach the upper abdomen by circulating with the peritoneal fluid current. Robust evidence regarding the preoperative diagnosis and optimal management of diaphragmatic endometriosis is lacking. Most reports rely on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for the radiologic diagnosis of diaphragmatic endometriosis. Although its sensitivity ranged between 78% and 83%, MRI was found to underestimate the extent of diaphragmatic endometriosis in comparison with the surgical findings. Accumulating evidence indicates that asymptomatic diaphragmatic endometriosis is very unlikely to progress, and therefore, could be left in situ when incidentally found. The efficiency of ablative and excisional approaches for symptomatic endometriosis has not been assessed thoroughly to date. In addition, it is unclear whether combining the laparoscopic approach with video-assisted thoracoscopy (VATS) may result in an optimized result. This gap exists due to the lack of data about the association between diaphragmatic and thoracic endometriosis. Background/Objectives: Surgical removal of deep endometriosis lesions is an established method of reducing patient symptoms, but it often results in iatrogenic adhesions that lead to further problems. This pilot study presents the safety evaluation of a novel self-cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel used to reduce adhesions after non-bowel deep endometriosis surgery. Methods: A single cohort, single-center, non-randomized pilot study was conducted in patients diagnosed with non-bowel deep endometriosis who underwent a three-stage treatment regimen consisting of first surgery, hormone therapy and second surgery. The present report is limited to an analysis of the inflammatory parameters, pain and complications occurring within a 72 h period following the initial laparoscopy (FLL) utilizing the anti-adhesion gel. Results: 60 patients (28.48 ± 5.9 years old) were included. 24 h after the intervention, a slight elevation in C-reactive protein levels was observed in 38.33% of cases (0.98 ± 1.46 mg/dL), with a statistically significant difference after FLL (0.98 ± 1.46 mg/dL before FLL vs. 1.03 ± 1.29 mg/dL after FLL; p =< 0.001); there were no patients with levels above 10 mg/dL before or after surgery. 24 h after FLL, 29.33% of patients had a leukocyte count greater than 11 Thous/μL, with a maximum observed value of 16.2 Thous/μL. The count was found to be statistically significantly higher after FLL (6.03 ± 1.91 Thous/μL before FLL vs. 9.15 ± 2.61 Thous/μL after FLL; p =< 0.001). At 72 h post-intervention, postoperative pain was reported in up to 63.33% of cases, and one urinary tract infection with fever occurred but was not considered to be related to the product. No serious adverse events were observed. Conclusions: The results of this exploratory study showed a safe range of inflammatory response within a 24 h period following the application of the novel self-cross-linked hyaluronic acid antiadhesion gel (HyaRegen ® ) in patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for non-bowel deep endometriosis.

Background: The treatment of endometriosis and adenomyosis requires a complex, multidisciplinary approach. Some centres have established multidisciplinary teams (MDT) and regular meetings. There are currently no international data or recommendations., Objectives: To examine existing MDT meetings and define consensus recommendations to support implementation and conduct., Materials and Methods: Online questionnaires were sent through the European Endometriosis League (EEL) based on a Delphi protocol. After a literature review and assessment of existing MDT meetings, essential aspects for consensus statements were identified. The consensus statements were evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale with the possibility to modify them. Results were analysed between rounds and reported to the respondents. Consensus, defined as ≥70% agreement, concluded the Delphi process when achieved in the majority of statements., Main Outcome Measures: Prevalence and type of existing MDT meetings and recommendations., Results: In round 1, 69 respondents participated, with 49.3% (34) having an MDT meeting at their institutions, of which 97% are multidisciplinary. 50 % meet once a month and 64.7% indicated that less than 25% of their patients are discussed. Throughout the three rounds, 47 respondents from 21 countries participated. During the process, 82 statements were defined, with an agreement of 92.7% on the statements., Conclusions: This study assessed existing MDT meetings for endometriosis and adenomyosis and developed recommendations for their implementation and conduct. The consensus group supports the strengths of MDT meetings, highlighting their role in offering guideline-based, multidisciplinary, and personalised care., What Is New?: This study presents the first international data and recommendations on MDT meetings for endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Adhesions are recognised as one of the most common complications of abdominal surgery; their diagnosis and prevention remains a significant unmet need in surgical therapy, affecting negatively a patient's quality of life and healthcare budgets. In addition, postoperative pelvic adhesions pose a high risk of reduced fertility in women of childbearing age. These 2023 Global Recommendations on Adhesion Prevention in Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgery provide agreed-upon statements to guide clinical practice, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.

Endometriosis-related infertility is one of the most debated topics in reproductive medicine. In recent years, prolonged pre-cycle hormonal regimens gained attention as a mean of improving the assisted reproduction technologies (ART) success rates in endometriosis patients. GnRH agonists, dienogest, medroxyprogesterone acetate, and aromatase inhibitors are the most studied medications. Conflicting results and a high risk of bias exist in almost all of the conducted studies in the field. However, current evidence suggests that pre-cycle treatment with GnRH agonists may be beneficial for patients with stage III/IV endometriosis. Dienogest and medroxyprogesterone acetate-based progestin-primed ovarian stimulation protocol was shown to be comparable to the prolonged GnRH agonists protocol. Finally, aromatase inhibitors seem to be of limited benefit to the assisted reproductive outcomes of endometriosis patients. Introduction: Endometriosis is a chronic disease that affects up to 190 million women and those assigned female at birth and remains unresolved mainly in terms of etiology and optimal therapy. It is defined by the presence of endometrium-like tissue outside the uterine cavity and is commonly associated with chronic pelvic pain, infertility, and decreased quality of life. Despite the availability of various screening methods (e.g., biomarkers, genomic analysis, imaging techniques) intended to replace the need for invasive surgery, the time to diagnosis remains in the range of 4 to 11 years., Aims: This study aims to create a large prospective data bank using the Lucy mobile health application (Lucy app) and analyze patient profiles and structured clinical data. In addition, we will investigate the association of removed or restricted dietary components with quality of life, pain, and central pain sensitization., Methods: A baseline and a longitudinal questionnaire in the Lucy app collects real-world, self-reported information on symptoms of endometriosis, socio-demographics, mental and physical health, economic factors, nutritional, and other lifestyle factors. 5,000 women with confirmed endometriosis and 5,000 women without diagnosed endometriosis in a control group will be enrolled and followed up for one year. With this information, any connections between recorded symptoms and endometriosis will be analyzed using machine learning., Conclusions: We aim to develop a phenotypic description of women with endometriosis by linking the collected data with existing registry-based information on endometriosis diagnosis, healthcare utilization, and big data approach. This may help to achieve earlier detection of endometriosis with pelvic pain and significantly reduce the current diagnostic delay. Background: MRI diagnostics are important for adenomyosis, especially in cases with inconclusive ultrasound. This study assessed the potential of MRI-based radiomics as a novel tool for differentiating between uteri with and without adenomyosis. Methods: This retrospective proof-of-principle single-center study included nine patients with and six patients without adenomyosis. All patients had preoperative T2w MR images and histological findings served as the reference standard. The uterus of each patient was segmented in 3D using dedicated software, and 884 radiomics features were extracted. After dimension reduction and feature selection, the diagnostic yield of individual and combined features implemented in the machine learning models were assessed by means of receiver operating characteristics analyses. Results: Eleven relevant radiomics features were identified. The diagnostic performance of individual features in differentiating adenomyosis from the control group was high, with areas under the curve (AUCs) ranging from 0.78 to 0.98. The performance of ML models incorporating several features was excellent, with AUC scores of 1 and an area under the precision-recall curve of 0.4. Conclusions: The set of radiomics features derived from routine T2w MRI enabled accurate differentiation of uteri with adenomyosis. Radiomics could enhance diagnosis and furthermore serve as an imaging biomarker to aid in personalizing therapies and monitoring treatment responses.

Endometriosis is a chronic debilitating disease that affects nearly 10% of women of the reproductive age. Although the treatment modalities of endometriosis are numerous, surgical excision of the endometriotic implants and nodules remains the sole cytoreductive approach. Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis was proven to be beneficial in improving the postoperative pain and fertility. Moreover, it was also proved to be safe and efficient in treating the visceral localization of deep endometriosis, such as urinary and colorectal endometriosis. More recently, robotic-assisted surgery gained attention in the field of endometriosis surgery. Although the robotic technology provides a 3D vision of the surgical field and 7-degree of freedom motion, the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of this approach are yet to be determined. Introduction: This Expert Opinion covers recent updates in the use of Inositol in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and type II diabetes and gives support to researchers and clinicians., Areas Covered: This article discusses the role of Myo-Inositol (MI) and D-Chiro-Inositol (DCI) in physiological function, the use of MI in PCOS, the risks of using DCI in reproductive conditions, the 40:1 combination of MI/DCI in PCOS. Furthermore, we discuss the issues of insulin resistance and how α-lactalbumin may increase the intestinal bioavailability of MI. The paper then transitions to talk about the use of inositols in diabetes, including type II diabetes, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), and double diabetes. Literature searches were performed with the use of PubMed, Google Scholar, and Web of Science between July and October 2023., Expert Opinion: Inositol therapy has grown in the clinical field of PCOS, with it demonstrating an efficacy like that of metformin. The use of α-lactalbumin has further supported the use of MI, as issues with intestinal bioavailability have been largely overcome. In contrast, the effect of inositol treatment on the different PCOS phenotypes remains an outstanding question. The use of inositols in type II diabetes requires further study despite promising analogous data from GDM.

Objectives: Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease known to contribute to infertility. Laparoscopic excision of endometriotic lesions represents a standard treatment modality for symptomatic women. Our study aims to assess the potential benefits of laparoscopic excision of endometriosis in patients experiencing infertility associated with the condition, as well as to define the clinical factors that may impact the cumulative pregnancy rate., Design: In this retrospective analysis, a total of 102 patients with endometriosis-related infertility were enrolled., Materials, Setting, Methods: All participants underwent reproductive surgery and were then categorized into two groups: those who conceived were assigned to group A, while those who did not were assigned to group B. The correlation between clinical factors and pregnancy rate was assessed using the log-rank test, and both univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted utilizing the Cox regression model., Results: The median age of the patients was 33.5 years, with a median follow-up duration of 70 months. Throughout the study period, 71 patients (69.6%) conceived (group A), while the remaining 31 patients (30.4%) did not conceive (group B), irrespective of the use of Assisted-Reproduction Technologies. The Cox regression model revealed that factors such as the duration of infertility, presence of deep infiltrating endometriosis, bowel endometriosis, rASRM stages, pelvic adhesions, and recurrent disease negatively impacted postoperative conception rates. Conversely, complete excision and coagulation of endometriotic lesions, as well as ablation of ovarian endometriomas, emerged as independent positive predictive factors for postoperative clinical pregnancy., Limitations: Limitations of this study is retrospective design of the study, as well as a small number of patients., Conclusions: Complete excision of endometriosis during reproductive surgery may yield a positive effect and optimize the likelihood of pregnancy in patients with endometriosis-related infertility., (© 2024 The Author(s). Objective: To organize the experience and international knowledge in the surgical management and staging of colorectal endometriosis, with a management proposal in stages., Method: An extensive non-systematic review of the literature was carried to organize the disease in stages (limited, intermediate and advanced) according to a scoring system, which considers the characteristics of the endometrioma, the personal history and surgical findings. We tested the proposed staging in a retrospective group of patients., Results: From January 2017 to April 2023, we collected 19 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of colorectal endometriosis, treated laparoscopically, by the same group of surgeons, in whom we found a strong correlation between the stage of the disease and the presence of complications that required reinterventions., Conclusions: We suggest a sequence of colorectal surgical management in stages according to the staging of the disease and we hope that this work will be followed by joint efforts to test it prospectively in order to compare results between hospital centers and make planned decisions., (Copyright: © 2023 Permanyer.)

This study aims to summarize evidence from observational studies about the lifetime use of HC and the risk of BC in women of reproductive age. The PubMed, Cochrane, and EMBASE databases were searched for observational studies published from 2015 to February 2022. Meta-analyses were performed using adjusted odds ratios and relative risks with a random-effects model using the I 2 statistic to quantify the heterogeneity among studies. Of the 724 studies identified, 650 were screened for title/abstract selection, 60 were selected for full-text revision, and 22 were included in the meta-analysis. Of these, 19 were case-control studies and 3 were cohort studies. The results of the meta-analysis indicate a significantly higher risk of developing BC in ever users of HC (pooled OR = 1.33; 95% CI = 1.19 to 1.49). This effect is larger in the subgroups of case-control studies (pooled OR = 1.44, 95% CI = 1.21 to 1.70) and in the subgroup of studies that strictly define menopausal status (pooled OR = 1.48; 95% CI, 1.10 to 2.00). Although our meta-analysis of observational studies (cohort and case-control) suggests a significantly increased overall risk of BC in users or ever-users of modern hormonal contraceptives, the high heterogeneity among studies (>70%) related to differences in study design, measurement of variables, confounders, among other factors, as well as publication biases should be considered when interpreting our results.

Diaphragmatic endometriosis is rare and forms 0.67-4.7% of all endometriosis cases. Evidence regarding its optimal management is lacking. In this study, we retrospectively analyzed the patient characteristics and long-term treatment outcomes of diaphragmatic endometriosis patients. Over a 4-year period, 23 patients were diagnosed with diaphragmatic endometriosis. The majority of patients had coexisting deep pelvic endometriosis. Cyclic upper abdominal pain was reported by 60.9% of patients, while cyclic chest and shoulder pain were reported by 43.5% and 34.8% of patients, respectively. Most patients were treated with laparoscopic lesion ablation, while 21.1% were treated with minimally invasive excision. The mean follow-up time was 23.7 months. Long-lasting resolution of the chest, abdominal, and shoulder pain occurred in 50%, 35.7%, and 25% of patients, respectively. Nonetheless, 78.9% of patients reported major improvement in their symptoms postoperatively. Significantly higher rates of postoperative shoulder, abdominal, and chest pain were observed in patients who received postoperative hormonal therapy compared with those who did not. All patients treated expectantly remained stable. Therefore, we recommend treating diaphragmatic endometriosis only in symptomatic patients. The risk of incomplete surgery should be minimized by a multidisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic approach with a careful assessment of the diaphragm and the thoracic cavity.

Introduction: Ovarian endometrioma is a common subtype of endometriosis with a prevalence between 17 and 44%. The reported average recurrence of endometrioma after surgical management is 21.5% after 2 years and 40-50% after 5 years. The aim of this narrative review was to summarize the existing literature focusing on treatment options after endometrioma recurrence in order to provide an evidence-based approach for the clinical practice., Evidence Acquisition: Three electronic databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE and Cochrane) were searched until September 2022 for eligible studies., Evidence Synthesis: The available studies showed that repeated surgery has a negative impact on ovarian function, without improving the fertility outcomes. Transvaginal aspiration as an alternative option for surgery has a high rate of recurrence, which varies from 8.20 to 43.5% depending on the technique used and on the study population. Pregnancy related outcomes were similar between transvaginal aspiration groups and no intervention groups in patients with endometrioma recurrence. Regarding medical treatments, only four studies were found, showing that progestins reduce the pain and the diameter of the ovarian cyst., Conclusions: Recurrent endometrioma is a challenging condition which could be encountered during the care of women with endometriosis. The decision about the treatment-strategy has to be individualized considering family planning status, age, ovarian reserve and transvaginal ultrasound findings. Well-designed randomized clinical trials are needed to export safer conclusions about the most appropriate treatment in each specific condition after endometrioma recurrence.
