Title of diploma thesis: Study of substance transport via membrane transporters Wide range of specialized transport proteins expressed mainly in the kidney proximal tubule ensures the excretion of endogenous and exogenous substances. OCT2 (organic cation transporter 2) is localized on the basolateral membrane of the kidney proximal tubule, the transporter transports broad spectrum of structurally different substances. Drug-drug interactions may occur at the level of this transporter due to its broad substrate specificity. Within this diploma thesis the accumulation of the radiolabeled antiviral agent [3 H]lamivudine and the model hOCT2 substrate [3 H]MPP+ was evaluated using accumulation and transport studies. The canine kidney cells MDCKII or human cell line HeLa were used as model cell lines. Mentioned cell lines expressed the human OCT2 transporter stably or transiently. The antibacterial chemotherapy agent trimethoprim was used as competitive inhibitor of OCT2 transporter. Legal aspects of the circular economy Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the issue of legal aspects of the circular economy. This concept is based on resource efficiency with the intention to minimize waste generation. This approach is considered to be the future of economies not only in the European Union, but also in the rest of the world. The thesis aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the circular economy and the legal background of this concept in the EU and the Czech Republic. Given that the legislation of the circular economy has so far been reflected at the EU and national level predominantly in the field of waste management, it forms a significant part of this thesis. The projection of the principles of the circular economy into the legal order as well as the future development of this concept is evaluated. Recognized advantages and disadvantages in the current circular economy legislation are formulated at the end of the thesis. Subsequently, the thesis sets recommendations for the future direction of the circular economy and for its efficiency enhancement.

The bachelor thesis aims to introduce the work of Pavel Čech (an illustrator, a comics creator, and a book writer) and the use of selected work in leisure education indicated for reading. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The theoretical part introduces a bio, author's work, awards received, preferred literature genre, and selected methods chosen for particular work with text. The practical part focuses on the project O čertovi that develops the reading in kinder garden.

The subject of this work is to describe and present the program The Leader in me as one of the possible starting points of the current educational effect on students of all levels of the educational system in terms of their equipment with competencies. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the framework educational program, key competencies in education and the school educational program. Furthermore, the principle of 7 habits of effective behavior is described here and it is stated how they can be applied in the school environment with the help The practical part of the work focuses on the methods leading to the acquisition of key competencies within the classes of Personal - Social Education and on the possibilities and impact of introducing of the program The Leader in me into practice at the Primary School Bratří Čapků in Ústí nad Orlicí. The information was collected through interviews and follow-up questionnaires. Diploma thesis "Nazi ideology in relation to mentally ill people" focuses on starting points and ideas of this ideology, which in its consequences led to social exclusion and subsequent systematic extermination of people with a certain handicap. Although the thesis is limited in time from 1933 - 1945, it also follows development line of selected scientific disciplines, which were significantly reflected in the Nazi ideology. Primarily it concerns historical science, medical disciplines, genetics, racial hygiene, eugenic origins and other related disciplines. The thesis also takes into account the economic situation of that time with its many social problems which arose as a result of the new geopolitical arrangement after the World War I and the changes in the social world of that period and it also captures the process of changes in the social status of mentally ill people in the course of history. Last but not least, it describes the practical consequences of these changes, which were "forced sterilization" and "euthanasia" of both children and adults. The thesis deals with the media presentation of world slums in the Czech environment throughout 2010-2017. According to the latest estimates, more than one billion people live in slums today. It is safe to assume that the population in these slums will grow in the next decades. Most slums are located in the urban areas of developing states, which have higher urbanisation rates compared to the more developed countries. Slums are crowded places in cities where the residents live in substandard conditions that includes lack of drinking water, poor sanitation, lack of sewerage and health care and so on. The thesis focuses on the media coverage of five slums (Kibera, Dharavi, Khayelitsha, Ciudad Neza and Orangi Town), which rank among the biggest in the world. The work briefly summarizes the social construction of reality theory according to T. Berger and P. L. Luckmann, the media construct of reality and news value. It explains the concepts of slum, developing country, urbanisation, and the refugee crisis. It examines the texts by combining quantitative and qualitative content analysis. Zuzana Kučerová: Child Soldier in International Law Abstract This thesis deals with child soldiers from the perspective of the international law. It is predominantly concerned with two questions: protection of children from recruiting and their possible criminal responsibility for international crimes. After a short introductory chapter, which covers a brief history of child soldiers, the second part gives an overview of international legal instruments which aim at preventing the underaged from being recruited into armed groups, as well as from taking part in hostilities. Those instruments belong to three different branches of international law: humanitarian law, human rights law and international criminal law. The author concludes that international criminal law in particular is the best instrument to protect children from becoming child soldiers. The reason is that international criminal law applies directly to individuals, including non-state actors such as commanders of paramilitary forces. It is also in force at the times when there is no armed conflict as defined by international humanitarian law. The aim of this article is to estimate the mutual interaction of monetary and fiscal policy in the Visegrad Group countries, i.e. in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. The relations between monetary and fiscal policy - its coordination, cooperation or mutual antagonism - are basic determinants of successful economic policy implementation of each country. Fiscal and monetary policies usually have different aims. Therefore, some conflict situations may arise in practical economic and political decision-making process. Methodical approaches of this article are based on the game theory, which deals with the analysis of a wide range of decision-making situations with more participants (players); it is primarily focused on the conflict situations. Our results confirm the stabilizing role of monetary policy in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary, also the dominant role of monetary policy in the Czech Republic and the dominant role of fiscal policy in Hungary. In the case of Slovakia, inconsistent results concerning the monetary policy role are probably caused by its EMR II membership and Eurozone entry in 2009. Web of Science 62 4 479 459

This work deals with philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard and Friedrich Nietzsche. It focuses on the problem of their relationship with God and religion. The aim is to show where these thinkers agree on and differ in relation to God, Christianity and change of the values of an individual. The first chapter is devoted to foundations of Nietzsche and Kierkegaard's work. The second chapter compares common and different values. The work compares masters and slaves' morality in the concept of Friedrich Nietzsche and morality built on authentic faith at Søren Kierkegaard.

Goal of this work is to show that the values in European and a traditional context could be transformed. I chose two philosophers F.Nietzsche and S.Kierkegaard where I can document this change. Just the two of them proved to be very important for the 20th century .In the main part of my work, I am describing and comparing the evolution of the axiological views of both philosophers. My study on existential philosophers includes topics such as freedom, sense of life, base of christianity, perception of human being. Nietzsche and Kierkegaard are philosophers who have a lot in common, but they would not get on well with each other. The things that they share are the same time what they deal with in a difááé=ferent way. They treat topics such as existence, futility, strength of faith. However Kierkegaard studies in depth existentialism, immersion in irrationality, desolation. In Nietzsche we can find the will of power, the nihilist opinions and the criticism of christianity.
