This study examined post-test performance and retention performance of students in mathematics when learned and problem-solving ability through educational video games and traditional lecture method. The study adopted a quasi-experimental design. The sample was drawn from Alagappa Model Higher Secondary School in Karaikudi at Sivagangai district in southern Tamilnadu. Respondents were 90 students (46 boys and 44 girls). The findings revealed that there was a significant difference in the post-test scores, retention test scores, gender, and localities of experimental and control groups. The study concluded that educational video game learning significantly improves students' achievement and retention capacity. Therefore, the study recommended that this advent of learning that combines both face-to-face and online delivery can effectively be utilized in learning mathematics and problem solving to enhance the performance and retention among upper primary school students.

The field of drug delivery is constantly evolving, with innovative technologies paving the way for more effective and personalized treatments. 3D printing technology has emerged as a promising avenue in this regard, offering the potential to transform the pharmaceutical industry. This review article provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of drug delivery through 3D printing, highlighting recent breakthroughs, challenges, and the exciting prospects that lie ahead. The review discusses several key advances, including the ability to tailor medications to individual patient needs, the creation of complex dosage forms, and the utilization of biocompatible polymers for controlled drug release. Additionally, it explores the concept of combination therapy and the benefits it offers in improving treatment outcomes. While, 3D printing holds immense promise, it is not without its challenges. Regulatory approval, material selection, scalability and intellectual property concerns are important considerations that need to be addressed for widespread adoption. Looking to the future, this article envisions the potential for nanoscale drug delivery, in-home drug printing, disease-specific drug formulations and the convergence of 3D printing with bioprinting techniques for regenerative medicine applications. We describe a case series of five pregnant or postpartum women with severe CoViD-19-related ARDS requiring VV ECMO at our centre between Jan 1 and Sep 30, 2021. All patients were cannulated at the referring hospitals by our team before transferring to our centre. None of the women were vaccinated against CoViD-19. All had severe ARDS with Murray's Lung Injury Score of 3–4 and met the severity threshold for ECMO initiation that was used in the EOLIA study. All patients were discharged alive to home, acute rehabilitation, or lung transplant centre. One patient suffered intrauterine death before ECMO initiation and another while on ECMO. VV ECMO for refractory CoViD-19 related ARDS in the peripartum period is safe, and in this small series, it was associated with good maternal survival rates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As we know that Foam concrete has been successfully used and it has gained popularity due to its lower density than normal concrete. Globally the construction activities are rapid and using huge amount of fine aggregate and cement. Due to continuous usage of large amount of sand and cement we are creating natural imbalance by CONTINUOUS mining of sand, lime etc., from natural resources, which causes many natural hazards and become threat to humans. As a responsible citizen of world everyone think to stop the usage of sand and cement in huge quantity for infrastructural activities. Fly ash is one alternative solution as a partial replacement of sand and cement with Alccofine. In this investigation we are replacing fine aggregate with fly ash and cement with Alccofine by usage of Using additive materials in foam concrete which provides not only workability, strength but also reduce overall cost. As reducing the quantity of sand and cement in foam concrete we conserve Green House effect and also other raw materials used for cement. Foam concrete produced with uniform distribution of air bubbles thoughout the mass of concrete. The density of foam concrete is a function of the volume of foam added to the slurry and the strength decreases as decrease in densities. This experimental investigation was designed for density of 800 kg/m3. This study was compiled in determination of workability, plastic density, water absorption and compressive strength of foam concrete. The test specimens has been casted and tested at the age of 7,14 and 28 days.

Suitability of Pangasius as a source for salt fermentation and its physicochemical and microbiological changes during fermentation were evaluated for a period of 150 days. Biochemical and microbiological parameters such as proximate composition, pH, non-protein nitrogen, total volatile base nitrogen, free α-amino nitrogen, free fatty acid, peroxide value, thiobarbutric acid reactive substances, salt content, total titratable acidity, total viable count, and Escherichia coli were analyzed during the fermentation. Peroxide value and thiobarbutric acid reactive substances indicated that maturation started on the 90th day of fermentation. The highest non-protein nitrogen (NPN)/total nitrogen (TN) ratio was observed on the 120th day and the highest sensory scores were observed on the 150th day of fermentation. NPN/TN ratio and sensory scores showed that salt fermentation accelerate from the 90th day and attains maturation on the 120th day. The study revealed that Pangasius can be an ideal fish for salt fermentation, and this technique can be adopted by small-scale farmers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
