We report the highest-redshift detection of [O I] 63 $\mu$m from a luminous quasar, J2054-0005, at $z=6.04$ based on the Atacama Large Millimeter/sub-millimeter Array Band 9 observations. The [O I] 63 $\mu$m line luminosity is $(4.5\pm1.5) \times 10^{9}~L_{\rm \odot}$, corresponding to the [O I] 63 $\mu$m-to-far-infrared luminosity ratio of $\approx 6.7\times10^{-4}$, which is consistent with the value obtained in the local universe. Remarkably, [O I] 63 $\mu$m is as bright as [C II] 158 $\mu$m, resulting in the [O I]-to-[C II] line luminosity ratio of $1.3\pm0.5$. Based on a careful comparison of the luminosity ratios of [O I] 63 $\mu$m, [C II] 158 $\mu$m, and dust continuum emission to models of photo-dissociation regions, we find that J2054-0005 has a gas density log($n_{\rm H}$/cm$^{-3}$)$=3.7\pm0.3$ and an incident far-ultraviolet radiation field of log($G/G_{\rm 0}$)$= 3.0\pm0.1$, showing that [O I] 63 $\mu$m serves as an important coolant of the dense and warm gas in J2054-0005. A close examination of the [O I] and [C II] line profiles suggests that the [O I] line may be partially self-absorbed, however deeper observations are needed to verify this conclusion. Regardless, the gas density and incident radiation field are in a broad agreement with the values obtained in nearby star-forming galaxies and objects with [O I] 63 $\mu$m observations at $z=1-3$ with the Herschel Space Observatory. We present a pioneering approach to tracking analysis within the COMET Phase-I experiment, which aims to search for the charged lepton flavor violating $\mu\to e$ conversion process in a muonic atom, at J-PARC, Japan. This paper specifically introduces the extraction of signal electron trajectories in the COMET Phase-I cylindrical drift chamber (CDC) amidst a high background hit rate, with more than $40\,\%$ occupancy of the total CDC cells, utilizing deep learning techniques of semantic segmentation. Our model achieved remarkable results, with a purity rate of $98\,\%$ and a retention rate of $90\,\%$ for CDC cells with signal hits, surpassing the design-goal performance of $90\,\%$ for both metrics. Discovering mixed state quantum orders is an on-going issue. Recently, it has been recognized that there are (at least) two kinds of symmetries in the mixed state; strong and weak symmetries. Under symmetry-respective decoherence, spontaneous strong-to-weak symmetry breaking (SSSB) can occur. This work provides a scheme to describe SSSB and other decoherence phenomena in the mixed state by employing the stabilizer formalism and the efficient numerical algorithm of Clifford circuits. We present two systematic numerical studies. In a two-dimensional (2D) circuit with a stochastic Ising type decoherence, an SSSB phase transition is clearly observed and its criticality is elucidated by the numerical methods. In particular, we calculate R\'{e}nyi-2 correlations and estimate critical exponents of the SSSB transition. For the second system, we introduce an idea of subsystem SSSB. As an example, we study a system with symmetry-protected-topological (SPT) order provided by both one-form and zero-form symmetries, and observe how the system evolves under decoherence. After displaying numerical results, we show that viewpoint of percolation is quite useful to understand the SSSB transition, which is applicable for a wide range of decohered states. Since the first demonstration of optical refrigeration in a rare-earth-doped glass nearly 30 years ago, the nascent field of laser cooling solids has progressed significantly. It is now possible to demonstrate payload cooling to ~91 K using laser-excited ytterbium-doped fluoride crystals. Realizing lower temperatures, however, requires achieving ultrahigh purities in existing rare earth-doped crystals or establishing new cooling media. For the latter, semiconductors are an obvious choice given higher cooling power densities and predicted cooling floors as low as 10 K. This has stimulated a race to demonstrate the optical refrigeration of a semiconductor. It is therefore timely to systematize the necessary and sufficient experimental minimum criteria for reporting optical refrigeration results to elevate the reliability and reproducibility of current and future optical refrigeration claims. We distill an optical refrigeration Experimental Minimum (EM) that we propose will standardize the reporting of new cooling results. EM tenets fall into the following categories: demonstrations of explicit heating vs cooling, optical cooling metrics, thermodynamic consistency, and reliable temperature measurements. All optical refrigeration claims should demonstrate the above four criteria to ensure their reliability and verifiability. We further propose that the EM serve as a guide for reviewing literature claims in the field.

The evolution of giant molecular clouds (GMCs), the main sites of high-mass star formation, is an essential process to unravel the galaxy evolution. Using a GMC catalogue of M33 from ALMA-ACA survey, we classified 848 GMCs into three types based on the association with HII regions and their H$\alpha$ luminosities $\textit{L}$(H$\alpha$): Type I is associated with no HII regions; Type II with HII regions of $\textit{L}$(H$\alpha$) $<$ 10$^{37.5}$ erg s$^{-1}$; and Type III with HII regions of $\textit{L}$(H$\alpha$) $\geqq$ 10$^{37.5}$ erg s$^{-1}$. These criteria yield 224 Type I GMCs, 473 Type II GMCs, and 151 Type III GMCs. GMCs show changes in their physical properties according to the types; mass, radius, velocity dispersion, and $^{13}$CO detection rate of GMCs systematically increase from Type I to Type III, and additionally, Type III GMCs are closest to virial equilibrium. Type III GMCs show the highest spatial correlation with clusters younger than 10 Myr, Type II GMCs moderate correlation, and Type I GMCs are almost uncorrelated. We interpret that these types indicate an evolutionary sequence from Type I to Type II, and then to Type III with timescales of 4 Myr, 13 Myr, and 5 Myr, respectively, indicating the GMC lifetime of 22 Myr by assuming that Type II GMC has the same timescale as the Large Magellanic Cloud. The evolved GMCs concentrate on the spiral arms, while the younger GMCs are apart from the arm both to the leading and trailing sides. This indicated that GMCs collide with each other by the spiral potential, leading to the compression of GMCs and the triggering of high-mass star formation, which may support the dynamic spiral model. Although Bayesian skew-normal models are useful for flexibly modeling spatio-temporal processes, they still have difficulty in computation cost and interpretability in their mean and variance parameters, including regression coefficients. To address these problems, this study proposes a spatio-temporal model that incorporates skewness while maintaining mean and variance, by applying the flexible subclass of the closed skew-normal distribution. An efficient sampling method is introduced, leveraging the autoregressive representation of the model. Additionally, the model's symmetry concerning spatial order is demonstrated, and Mardia's skewness and kurtosis are derived, showing independence from the mean and variance. Simulation studies compare the estimation performance of the proposed model with that of the Gaussian model. The result confirms its superiority in high skewness and low observation noise scenarios. The identification of Cobb-Douglas production functions across US states is examined as an application to real data, revealing that the proposed model excels in both goodness-of-fit and predictive performance.

We propose {\it measurement-producing hierarchy} emerging among correlated states by sequential subsystem projective measurements. We start from symmetry-protected-topological (SPT) cluster states with a large symmetry and apply sequential subsystem projective measurements to them and find that generalized cluster SPT states with a reduced symmetry appear in the subsystem of the unmeasured sites. That prescription finally produces Greenberger-Home-Zeilinger states with long-range order in the subsystem composed of periodic unmeasured sites of the original lattice. The symmetry-reduction hierarchical structure from a general large symmetric SPT cluster state is clearly captured by the measurement update flow in the efficient algorithm of stabilizer formalism. This approach is useful not only for the analytical search for the measured state but also for numerical simulation with a large system size. Image thumbnails are a valuable data source for fixation filtering, scanpath classification, and visualization of eye tracking data. They are typically extracted with a constant size, approximating the foveated area. As a consequence, the focused area of interest in the scene becomes less prominent in the thumbnail with increasing distance, affecting image-based analysis techniques. In this work, we propose depth-adaptive thumbnails, a method for varying image size according to the eye-to-object distance. Adjusting the visual angle relative to the distance leads to a zoom effect on the focused area. We evaluate our approach on recordings in augmented reality, investigating the similarity of thumbnails and scanpaths. Our quantitative findings suggest that considering the eye-to-object distance improves the quality of data analysis and visualization. We demonstrate the utility of depth-adaptive thumbnails for applications in scanpath comparison and visualization.

We tested the performance of reservoir computing (RC) in predicting the dynamics of a certain non-autonomous dynamical system. Specifically, we considered a van del Pol oscillator subjected to periodic external force with frequent phase shifts. The reservoir computer, which was trained and optimized with simulation data generated for a particular phase shift, was designed to predict the oscillation dynamics under periodic external forces with different phase shifts. The results suggest that if the training data have some complexity, it is possible to quantitatively predict the oscillation dynamics exposed to different phase shifts. The setting of this study was motivated by the problem of predicting the state of the circadian rhythm of shift workers and designing a better shift work schedule for each individual. Our results suggest that RC could be exploited for such applications.

The interplay between text and visualization is gaining importance for media where traditional text is enriched by visual elements to improve readability and emphasize facts. In two controlled eye-tracking experiments ($N=12$), we approach answers to the question: How do visualization techniques influence reading behavior? We compare plain text to that marked with highlights, icons, and word-sized data visualizations. We assess quantitative metrics~(eye movement, completion time, error rate) and subjective feedback~(personal preference and ratings). The results indicate that visualization techniques, especially in the first experiment, show promising trends for improved reading behavior. The results also show the need for further research to make reading more effective and inform suggestions for future studies.

Sports visualization has developed into an active research field over the last decades. Many approaches focus on analyzing movement data recorded from unstructured situations, such as soccer. For the analysis of choreographed activities like formation dancing, however, the goal differs, as dancers follow specific formations in coordinated movement trajectories. To date, little work exists on how visual analytics methods can support such choreographed performances. To fill this gap, we introduce a new visual approach for planning and assessing dance choreographies. In terms of planning choreographies, we contribute a web application with interactive authoring tools and views for the dancers' positions and orientations, movement trajectories, poses, dance floor utilization, and movement distances. For assessing dancers' real-world movement trajectories, extracted by manual bounding box annotations, we developed a timeline showing aggregated trajectory deviations and a dance floor view for detailed trajectory comparison. Our approach was developed and evaluated in collaboration with dance instructors, showing that introducing visual analytics into this domain promises improvements in training efficiency for the future.

The depiction of scanpaths from mobile eye-tracking recordings by thumbnails from the stimulus allows the application of visual computing to detect areas of interest in an unsupervised way. We suggest using nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) to identify such areas in stimuli. For a user-defined integer k, NMF produces an explainable decomposition into k components, each consisting of a spatial representation associated with a temporal indicator. In the context of multiple eye-tracking recordings, this leads to k spatial representations, where the temporal indicator highlights the appearance within recordings. The choice of k provides an opportunity to control the refinement of the decomposition, i.e., the number of areas to detect. We combine our NMF-based approach with visualization techniques to enable an exploratory analysis of multiple recordings. Finally, we demonstrate the usefulness of our approach with mobile eye-tracking data of an art gallery.

We present a quantitative and statistical analysis of the molecular gas morphology in 73 nearby galaxies using high spatial resolution CO (J=2-1) data obtained from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) by the PHANGS large program. We applied three model-independent parameters: Concentration (C), Asymmetry (A), and Clumpiness (S) which are commonly used to parameterize the optical and infrared morphology of galaxies. We find a significant correlation between A and S, with a Spearman's rank correlation coefficient of 0.62 with a p-value of $4 \times 10^{-9}$. This suggests a higher abundance of molecular clumps (i.e. giant molecular cloud associations) in galaxies that display stronger distortion or biased large-scale molecular gas distribution. In addition, the analysis of the C parameter suggests high central molecular concentration in most barred spiral galaxies investigated in this study. Furthermore, we found a positive correlation between the length of the bar structure ($R_\mathrm{bar}/R_{25}$) and the C parameter, with a Spearman's rank correlation coefficient of 0.63 with a p-value of $3.8 \times 10^{-5}$ suggesting that larger bar structure can facilitate overall molecular gas transport and yield higher central concentration than galaxies with shorter bars. We extensively study long-time dynamics and fate of topologically-ordered state in toric code model evolving through projective measurement-only circuit. The circuit is composed of several measurement operators corresponding to each term of toric code Hamiltonian with magnetic-field perturbations, which is a gauge-fixed version of a (2+1)-dimensional gauge-Higgs model. We employ a cylinder geometry with distinct upper and lower boundaries to classify stationary states after long-time measurement dynamics. The appearing stationary states depend on measurement probabilities for each measurement operator. The Higgs, confined and deconfined phases emerge in the time evolution by the circuit. We find that both Higgs and confined phases are separated from the deconfined phase by topological entanglement entropy. We numerically clarify that both Higgs and confined phases are characterized by a long-range order on the boundaries accompanying edge modes, and they shift with each other by a crossover reflecting properties in the bulk phase diagram., Comment: Version to appear in Phys. Recent advancements in large foundation models have remarkably enhanced our understanding of sensory information in open-world environments. In leveraging the power of foundation models, it is crucial for AI research to pivot away from excessive reductionism and toward an emphasis on systems that function as cohesive wholes. Specifically, we emphasize developing Agent AI -- an embodied system that integrates large foundation models into agent actions. The emerging field of Agent AI spans a wide range of existing embodied and agent-based multimodal interactions, including robotics, gaming, and healthcare systems, etc. In this paper, we propose a novel large action model to achieve embodied intelligent behavior, the Agent Foundation Model. On top of this idea, we discuss how agent AI exhibits remarkable capabilities across a variety of domains and tasks, challenging our understanding of learning and cognition. Furthermore, we discuss the potential of Agent AI from an interdisciplinary perspective, underscoring AI cognition and consciousness within scientific discourse. Quantum non-locality is an important concept in quantum physics. In this work, we study the quantum non-locality in a fermion many-body system under quasi-periodic disorders. The Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality is systematically investigated, which quantifies quantum non-locality between two sites. We find that the quantum non-locality explicitly characterize the extended and critical phase transitions, and further that in the globally averaged picture of maximum value of the quantum non-locality the CHSH inequality is not broken, but for a local pair in the internal of the system the violation probability of the CHSH inequality becomes sufficiently finite. Further we investigate an extension of the CHSH inequality, Mermin-Klyshko-Svetlichny (MKS) polynomials, which can characterize multipartite quantum non-locality. We also find a similar behavior to the case of CHSH inequality. In particular, in the critical regime and on a transition point, the adjacent three qubit MKS polynomial in a portion of the system exhibits a quantum non-local violation regime with a finite probability., Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures

The development of artificial intelligence systems is transitioning from creating static, task-specific models to dynamic, agent-based systems capable of performing well in a wide range of applications. We propose an Interactive Agent Foundation Model that uses a novel multi-task agent training paradigm for training AI agents across a wide range of domains, datasets, and tasks. Our training paradigm unifies diverse pre-training strategies, including visual masked auto-encoders, language modeling, and next-action prediction, enabling a versatile and adaptable AI framework. We demonstrate the performance of our framework across three separate domains -- Robotics, Gaming AI, and Healthcare. Our model demonstrates its ability to generate meaningful and contextually relevant outputs in each area. The strength of our approach lies in its generality, leveraging a variety of data sources such as robotics sequences, gameplay data, large-scale video datasets, and textual information for effective multimodal and multi-task learning. Our approach provides a promising avenue for developing generalist, action-taking, multimodal systems.

An analysis of solar neutrino data from the fourth phase of Super-Kamiokande~(SK-IV) from October 2008 to May 2018 is performed and the results are presented. The observation time of the data set of SK-IV corresponds to $2970$~days and the total live time for all four phases is $5805$~days. For more precise solar neutrino measurements, several improvements are applied in this analysis: lowering the data acquisition threshold in May 2015, further reduction of the spallation background using neutron clustering events, precise energy reconstruction considering the time variation of the PMT gain. The observed number of solar neutrino events in $3.49$--$19.49$ MeV electron kinetic energy region during SK-IV is $65,443^{+390}_{-388}\,(\mathrm{stat.})\pm 925\,(\mathrm{syst.})$ events. Corresponding $\mathrm{^{8}B}$ solar neutrino flux is $(2.314 \pm 0.014\, \rm{(stat.)} \pm 0.040 \, \rm{(syst.)}) \times 10^{6}~\mathrm{cm^{-2}\,s^{-1}}$, assuming a pure electron-neutrino flavor component without neutrino oscillations. The flux combined with all SK phases up to SK-IV is $(2.336 \pm 0.011\, \rm{(stat.)} \pm 0.043 \, \rm{(syst.)}) \times 10^{6}~\mathrm{cm^{-2}\,s^{-1}}$. Based on the neutrino oscillation analysis from all solar experiments, including the SK $5805$~days data set, the best-fit neutrino oscillation parameters are $\rm{sin^{2} \theta_{12,\,solar}} = 0.306 \pm 0.013 $ and $\Delta m^{2}_{21,\,\mathrm{solar}} = (6.10^{+ 0.95}_{-0.81}) \times 10^{-5}~\rm{eV}^{2}$, with a deviation of about 1.5$\sigma$ from the $\Delta m^{2}_{21}$ parameter obtained by KamLAND. The best-fit neutrino oscillation parameters obtained from all solar experiments and KamLAND are $\sin^{2} \theta_{12,\,\mathrm{global}} = 0.307 \pm 0.012 $ and $\Delta m^{2}_{21,\,\mathrm{global}} = (7.50^{+ 0.19}_{-0.18}) \times 10^{-5}~\rm{eV}^{2}$., Comment: 47 pages, 61 figures

Study of boundary phase transition in toric code under cylinder geometry via bulk projective measurement is reported. As the frequency of local measurement for bulk qubits is increased, spin-glass type long-range order on the boundaries emerges indicating spontaneous-symmetry breaking (SSB) of $Z_2$ symmetry. From the lattice-gauge-theory viewpoint, this SSB is a signal of a transition to Higgs phase with symmetry protected topological order. We numerically elucidate the properties of this phase transition in detail, especially its criticality, and give a physical picture using non-local gauge-invariant symmetry operators. This study investigates the strategic behavior of applicants in the Japanese daycare market, where waitlisted applicants are granted additional priority points in subsequent application rounds. Utilizing data from Tokyo's Bunkyo municipality, this paper provides evidence of considerable manipulation, with parents strategically choosing to be waitlisted to enhance the likelihood of their child's admission into more selective daycare centers. I extend the static framework of school choice posited by Agarwal and Somaini (2018) to incorporate dynamic incentives and estimate a structural model that allows for reapplication if waitlisted. Empirical findings indicate that approximately 30% of applicants forgo listing safer options in their initial application, a behavior significantly pronounced among those who stand to benefit from the waitlist prioritization. Counterfactual simulations, conducted under the scenario of no additional waitlist priority, predict a 17.7% decrease in the number of waitlisted applicants and a 1.2% increase in overall welfare. These findings highlight the profound influence of dynamic incentives on applicant behavior and underscore the necessity for reevaluating current priority mechanisms.

Accelerated muon beams have been considered for next-generation studies of high-energy lepton-antilepton collisions and neutrino oscillations. However, high-brightness muon beams have not yet been produced. The main challenge for muon acceleration and storage stems from the large phase-space volume occupied by the beam, derived from the muon production mechanism through the decay of pions from proton collisions. Ionization cooling is the technique proposed to decrease the muon beam phase-space volume. Here we demonstrate a clear signal of ionization cooling through the observation of transverse emittance reduction in beams that traverse lithium hydride or liquid hydrogen absorbers in the Muon Ionization Cooling Experiment (MICE). The measurement is well reproduced by the simulation of the experiment and the theoretical model. The ability to transport single electrons on a quantum dot array dramatically increases the freedom in designing quantum computation schemes that can be implemented on solid-state devices. So far, however, routing schemes to precisely control the transport paths of single electrons have yet to be established. Here, we propose a silicon single-electron router that transports pumped electrons along the desired route on the branches of a T-shaped quantum dot array by inputting a synchronous phase-controlled signal to multiple gates. Notably, we show that it is possible to achieve a routing accuracy above 99% by implementing assist gates in front of the branching paths. Lead-halide perovskite nanocrystals such as CsPbBr$_3$, exhibit efficient photoluminescence (PL) up-conversion, also referred to as anti-Stokes photoluminescence (ASPL). This is a phenomenon where irradiating nanocrystals up to 100 meV below gap results in higher energy band edge emission. Most surprising is that ASPL efficiencies approach unity and involve single photon interactions with multiple phonons. This is unexpected given the statistically disfavored nature of multiple-phonon absorption. Here, we report and rationalize near-unity anti-Stokes photoluminescence efficiencies in CsPbBr$_3$ nanocrystals and attribute it to resonant multiple-phonon absorption by polarons. The theory explains paradoxically large efficiencies for intrinsically disfavored, multiple-phonon-assisted ASPL in nanocrystals. Moreover, the developed microscopic mechanism has immediate and important implications for applications of ASPL towards condensed phase optical refrigeration.

Spatial non-uniformity in tight-binding models serves as a source of rich phenomena. In this paper, we study a diamond-chain tight-binding model with a spatially-modulated magnetic flux at each plaquette. In the numerical studies with various combinations of the minimum and maximum flux values, we find the characteristic dynamics of a particle, namely, a particle slows down when approaching the plaquette with $\pi$-flux. This originates from the fact that the sharply localized eigenstates exist around the $\pi$-flux plaquette. These localized modes can be understood from a squared model of the original one. Information scrambling is nowadays one of the most important topics in various fields of research. Measurement-only circuit (MoC) exhibits specific information scrambling dynamics, depending on the types of projective measurements and their mutual anti-commutativity. The spatial range of the projective measurements in MoCs gives significant influences on circuit dynamics. In this work, we introduce and study long-range MoCs, which exhibit an interesting behavior in their dynamics. In particular, the long-range measurements can induce volume-law phases in MoCs without unitary time evolution, which come from anti-commutative frustration of measurements specific to the long-range MoCs. This phenomenon occurs even in MoCs composed of solely two-body measurements, and it accompanies an entanglement phase transition. Crucially, our numerics find evidences that MoCs can be a fast scrambler. Interplay of high anti-commutativity among measurements and their long-range properties generates fast entanglement growth in the whole system beyond linear-light-cone spreading., Comment: 12 pages, 14 figures, accepted in Phys. Provided is a comprehensive description of a band gap thermodynamic model, which predicts and explains key features of photosegregation in lead-based, mixed-halide perovskites. The model provides a prescription for illustrating halide migration driven by photocarrier energies. Where possible, model predictions are compared to experimental results. Free energy derivations are provided for three assumptions: (1) halide mixing in the dark, (2) a fixed number of photogenerated carriers funneling to and localizing in low band gap inclusions of the alloy, and (3) the statistical occupancy of said inclusions from a bath of thermalized photocarriers in the parent material. Model predictions include: excitation intensity ($I_{\textrm{exc}}$)-dependent terminal halide stoichiometries ($x_{\textrm{terminal}}$), excitation intensity thresholds ($I_{\textrm{exc,threshold}}$) below which photosegregation is suppressed, reduced segregation in nanocrystals as compared to thin films, the possibility to kinetically manipulate photosegregation rates via control of underlying mediators, asymmetries in forward and reverse photosegregation rate constants/activation energies, and a preference for high band gap products to recombine with the parent phase. What emerges is a cohesive framework for understanding ubiquitous photosegregation in mixed-halide perovskites and a rational basis by which to manage the phenomenon.

Molecular outflows are expected to play a key role in galaxy evolution at high redshift. To study the impact of outflows on star formation at the epoch of reionization, we performed sensitive ALMA observations of OH 119 $\mu$m toward J2054-0005, a luminous quasar at $z=6.04$. The OH line is detected and exhibits a P-Cygni profile that can be fitted with a broad blue-shifted absorption component, providing unambiguous evidence of an outflow, and an emission component at near-systemic velocity. The mean and terminal outflow velocities are estimated to be $v_\mathrm{out}\approx670~\mathrm{km~s}^{-1}$ and $1500~\mathrm{km~s}^{-1}$, respectively, making the molecular outflow in this quasar one of the fastest at the epoch of reionization. The OH line is marginally spatially resolved for the first time in a quasar at $z>6$, revealing that the outflow extends over the central 2 kpc region. The mass outflow rate is comparable to the star formation rate ($\dot{M}_\mathrm{out}/\mathrm{SFR}\sim2$), indicating rapid ($\sim10^7~\mathrm{yr}$) quenching of star formation. We present the results of ALMA-ACA 7 m-array observations in $^{12}$CO($J=2-1$), $^{13}$CO($J=2-1$), and C$^{18}$O($J=2-1$) line emission toward the molecular-gas disk in the Local Group spiral galaxy M33 at an angular resolution of 7".31 $\times$ 6".50 (30 pc $\times$ 26 pc). We combined the ACA 7 m-array $^{12}$CO($J=2-1$) data with the IRAM 30 m data to compensate for emission from diffuse molecular-gas components. The ACA+IRAM combined $^{12}$CO($J=2-1$) map clearly depicts the cloud-scale molecular-gas structure over the M33 disk. Based on the ACA+IRAM $^{12}$CO($J=2-1$) cube data, we cataloged 848 molecular clouds with a mass range from $10^3$ $M_{\odot}$ to $10^6$ $M_{\odot}$. We found that high-mass clouds ($\geq 10^5 M_{\odot}$) tend to associate with the $8 \mu$m-bright sources in the spiral arm region, while low-mass clouds ($< 10^5 M_{\odot}$) tend to be apart from such $8 \mu$m-bright sources and to exist in the inter-arm region. We compared the cataloged clouds with GMCs observed by the IRAM 30 m telescope at 49 pc resolution (IRAM GMC: Corbelli et al. 2017), and found that a small IRAM GMC is likely to be identified as a single molecular cloud even in ACA+IRAM CO data, while a large IRAM GMC can be resolved into multiple ACA+IRAM clouds.
