In this paper, a new CMOS high-performance electronically tunable second-generation current conveyor (ECCII) is presented. The current gain of the proposed ECCII can be controlled electronically by adjusting the ratio of dc bias currents of the ECCII. The output terminal of the proposed ECCII has high impedance, which enables easy cascadability. Also, as an application, the proposed ECCII is used for realizing a universal current-mode filter. The filter realizes low-pass, bandpass, and high-pass responses simultaneously. The low-pass response is obtained at high impedance output and its gain can be independently tuned by changing the current gain of the relevant CC. SPICE simulation results using TSMC 0.35-[micro]m CMOS process model shows excellent performance for the proposed ECCII. The proposed circuit consumes average power of 6.6 mW using [+ or -]1.5-V supply voltages. A new biquadratic universal filter configuration realising second-order low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass functions employing single current conveyor is proposed. Using this configuration high-pass, low-pass and band-pass filters can be realized with little modifications. The circuit employs a second-generation current conveyor (CCII+), and only four passive components. Since the current conveyor is a high performance active element, the circuit proposed is suitable for wide band applications. The derived filters can be easily cascaded and use reduced number of passive components compared to previously reported counterparts. To illustrate the design possibilities provided by the introduced circuit current mode multi-function filters are constructed and tested. Keywords: Current conveyors; Universal filters

New oscillator topologies starting from a six nodes plus ground parent network and employing a single current feedback op-amp are presented. The circuits are the results of a systematic circuit generation. Many of these circuits can easily be derived from the previously proposed circuits however four single resistance controlled circuits are found to be new. Two of them can also be realized as current feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) pole oscillator. The frequency stability properties of the presented circuits are also investigated. Furthermore a comparison of the single-resistance-controlled oscillators presented previously and in this paper employing single CFOA is given.
