방사선 계측학에서 계수통계 관련 개념들에 대해 이해하기 위해서는 기본적인 통계지식과 함께 용어 및 개념에 대한 내용을 정확하게 설명하는 연구나 교재가 있어야 하는데, 현재까지 국내에서 발간된 대학교재들은 미흡한 부분이 많다. 이에 본 연구에서는 통계적인 관점에서 계수통계의 이해에 우선적으로 필요한 기초적인 통계지식들에 대하여 정리하고, 오차의 전파 등 계수통계의 주요 내용에 대한 정확한 개념을 소개하였다, 나아가 현재 사용되고 있는 국내 방사선 계측학 관련 대학교재들에서 적절하게 표현되지 못한 부분 및 추가되어야 할 사항 등에 대해서 지적 및 수정권고를 하였다. 본 연구는 통계적 지식이 부족한 상태에서 작성된 일부 교재들로 인하여 계수통계 관련 내용들이 잘못 전달되는 문제점 해소 및 관련 연구의 활성화에 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

With the growth of battery-based electric drive platforms and intelligent control technologies, the diversity of smart EV related industries is increasing. A number of companies are competing to develop and commercialize electric vehicle charging robots. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional docking method for the charging terminal of a multi-articulated robot electric vehicle based on stereo vision. Based on the stereo image, docking is performed by calculating the relative positions of the docker center, the degree of inclination and the degree of distortion using the calibration information of camera 1 and camera 2 and the position of the marker.

After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident of 2011, interest regarding radiation safety in everyday life has increased considerably. This study investigates the general public’s current level of awareness of six warning pictograms in regard to medical and natural radiation safety utilized under ISO 7010, as per Korea industrial regulations. Namely, it tests whether survey respondents can recognize pictograms related to radiation safety according to their purpose, as their inability to do so poses a serious safety problem. The empirical analysis results regarding the awareness levels for radiation safety pictograms are as follows. First, 63.3% of the respondents were unable to correctly identify the pictograms, that is, their level of understandings of the six pictograms related to everyday radiation were low. Second, the mean score for the correct responses to the question of what the six pictograms indicated in relation to everyday radiation safety was also relatively low, with a mean score of 2.79 and a standard deviation of 1.447. The primary reasons for the low awareness and understanding levels were identified to be insufficient education related to radiation safety in schools. Additionally, it is necessary to revise and rectify current warning pictograms established by the Korea Industrial Standards and ISO 7010. This study is thus significant in that it identifies the level of understanding of the pictograms and suggests the need for improvement as a diversified effort toward improving everyday radiation safety.

Since the accident of Fukushima Nuclear Power plant in 2011, people have been more interested in radiation safety in life. This study investigated the level of exact recognition of 6 warning pictograms enacted and utilized as per Korea Industrial Regulation in relation to medical & natural radiation safety at this time. Unless people recognize pictogram prepared for radiation safety correctly in accordance with its purpose, safety would be severely intimidated. The result of corroboratively analyzing recognition of radiation safety pictogram is as follows. First, some 63.3% of respondents negatively responded on understanding 6 pictograms related to radiation in life, showing low level of understanding. Second, the average mark of correct response on the questions asking the meaning of 6 pictograms presented in relation to radiation safety in life was 2.79 point (standard deviation 1.447 point), which was relatively low. As seen above, the level of recognition & comprehension is low, because education related to life radiation safety in the school is insufficient and the present warning pictogram established by Korea Industrial Regulation needs to be revised & supplemented. This study is meaningful in that the method of using pictogram is presented as one of diverse efforts to improve life radiation safety.

It is necessary to evaluate whether Olympic pictograms are designed accurately and are easy to understand, so that they fulfill their intended functions and roles. Olympic pictograms are used to facilitate smooth communication at this large sporting event. However, viewers often find it challenging to understand the actual sport represented by the pictogram. This study evaluates the ranking of comprehensibility of the pictograms for judo, taekwondo, boxing, and wrestling used in six games, from the 27th Sydney Olympics in 2000 to the 32nd Tokyo Olympics in 2021. The evaluation was done using the fuzzy technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method, a multi-criteria decision-making methodology commonly used in economics and other fields. Data collection was conducted from 10 May to 30 June 2021 for 44 general public and seven experts. The results are as follows. First, the pictograms from the 2008 Beijing Olympics ranked first in three sports: taekwondo, boxing, and wrestling, but there were no pictograms that consistently ranked first or sixth in all sports. Second, the sensitivity analysis result shows the possibility that the ranking would be reversed if the weight of the evaluation factors were changed. This study is expected to contribute to developing pictograms that can adequately convey the appropriate information regarding Olympic sports in the future.

Text classification has numerous use cases including sentiment analysis, spam detection, document classification, hate speech detection, etc. In realistic settings, classification on text data confronts imbalanced data conditions where classes of interest usually compose a minor fraction. Deep neural networks used for text classification, such as recurrent neural networks and transformer networks, suffer from a lack of efficient methods addressing imbalanced data. Traditional data-level methods attempting to mitigate distributional skew include oversampling and undersampling. The oversampling methods destruct the quality of original language representation of the sparse data coming from minority classes whereas the undersampling methods fail to fully utilize the rich context of majority classes. We address such issues in data-driven approaches by enforcing continual learning on imbalanced data by partitioning the training data distribution into mutually exclusive subsets and performing continual learning, treating the individual subsets as distinct tasks. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our method through experiments on the IMDB dataset and constructed datasets from real-world data. The experimental results show that the proposed method improves by 56.38 %p on the IMDB dataset and by 16.89 %p and 34.76 %p on the constructed datasets compared to the baseline method in terms of the F1-score metric.

In Korea, the word, `Literary Therapy` can be replaced by `Bibliotherapy`, `Journal Therapy`, `Writing Therapy`, `Poem Therapy`, `Integrated Literary Therapy`, or `Imaginary-Oriented Poetry Therapy`, and so on. This study, intended on people related to literary therapy, uses Q-methodology as useful research method of objectifying abstract concepts which can be perceived differently according to individual experience or perception, to investigate types of literary therapy`s subjective perceptions. The result of study can be analyzed by four types: The first type is `Pursuing Generalization`, the second type is `Considering the Therapist`, the third type is `Emphasizing the Integration`, and the forth type is `Maximizing the literary therapy`. Through this result of the study, we can find the responsibility of literary therapy as a leader of cultural, artistic therapy to break down various pathological situations which contemporary society have.

Institute of Based fusion Education, Jeonju University요 약 최근 들어 사회연결망분석을 이용한 연구가 정치학, 언론학, 행정학 등의 사회과학 영역은 물론이고 나아가 자연과학 영역에 이르기까지 여러 분야에서 다양하게 이루어지고 있음에도 불구하고, 분석 도구의 소개에 대한 연구는 많지 않은 실정이다. 즉 사회연결망분석을 수행하기 위해서는 목적에 맞는 자료의 수집과 함께 분석 도구를 이용한 통계값 도출 및 시각화된 결과가 있어야 가능하지만, 아직까지 이를 체계적으로 설명한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 향후 사회연결망분석을 이용하여 연구를 수행하려는 연구자들에게 도움을 주고자, 무료 분석도구인 R프로그램을 이용한 분석과정을 자료입력부터 해석에 이르기까지를 실증자료를 이용하여 소개하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 활용되는 실증자료는 ‘한국학술지인용색인 DB'에서 제공하는 자료 중, 식품관련 국내학술지의 피인용자료이다. 연구방법론으로서의 사회연결망분석은 통계분석의 보완인 동시에 기존 연구방법을 대체하는 새로운 패러다임인 바, 본 고찰연구는 사회연결망분석의 활성화에 기여할 것이다.

Obesity indicates not only excessive body weight, but excessive accumulation of fat in the body, which is known to be the main reason of a variety of adult diseases such as cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. In this study, we have empirically examined data gathered by the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. As a result, statistically significant increase in high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer has been shown for past five years. Next, it is shown that obesity has a statistically meaningful relationship with high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer. That is, compared with underweight people, the proportion of normal or overweight people suffering from adult illnesses is much higher, which is statistically meaningful, empirically verifying the fact that adult diseases have much to do with obesity.

The words a speaker uses can be regarded as the core, the main issue and a symbolic icon of what he says. Applying this to presidents` addresses of each English literary society in Korea shows that frequency in use and the linkage of words they use in their addresses are value and ideas executive officers pursue. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of presidents` addresses introduced in home page of each English literary society in Korea and investigate features and constitution of them each, focusing on analysis of a language network. The results of this study show the features of resemblances and differences of commonly-used words. In addition, these results appear to suggest that they can be also applied to a comparative study between the English literary societies in Korea.

Objectives: Purpose of this research is to give some information to help reducing digital divided by investigating some digital divide factors of physically challenged people, empirical analyzing by using statistical method. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In the process of exploring factors of digital divide of the disabled people and conducting empirical analysis, subjects were physically disabled people in rehabilitation center located in Jeonlabuk-do(S. Korea). Research was done from 18, June, 2015 to 24, September, 2015. Samples were drawn from 200 respondents using convenience quarter sampling, self-recording method after the instruction from investigator was used. For statistical analysis, we used IBM SPSS 22. Findings: We finding results are as follow. First, reliable and valid measurement must be used to measure digital divide. Second, by integrating various statistical analyses, accessibility to computer should be raised among group of old age and management ability should be strengthened by education, to decrease digital divide among disabled people. Improvements/Applications: This research suggests some composition of measurement method about digital divide.

Objects: This research is to provide basic information for invigoration of irradiated foods by investigating statistically significant difference about knowledge, attitude and action on irradiated foods, depending on demographical characteristics. Methods/Statistical Analysis: This research subjected on adults of 19 and over. Survey was conducted from 2 Feb. 2015 to 28 Feb. 2015. 416 Respondents inhabit in provinces including Jeollabuk-do and living in capital area as Seoul and Kyeong-ki-do were selected by convenience sampling and data was collected by self-administration method. Findings: We find the following results. First, average score of knowledge level on irradiated foods was 9.62 out of 15, relatively high score compared to preceding research subjected on high school students, as respondents were the adults here. Secondly in attitude aspect of food irradiation, only ‘habitat’ factor showed statistically significant difference in significance level of 5%. Third, about practice level toward food irradiation, as whether checking food irradiation when buying, checking level of rays and recommendation to other, variables like ‘marriage’, ‘religion’ and ‘habitat’ showed statistically significant difference in significance level of 5%. Fourth, as a result of correlation analysis to see if there is statistically significant correlation among knowledge, attitude and practice level toward food irradiation, knowledge and attitude showed statistically significant correlation positively. Improvements/Application: This study is expected to be used in education or promoting plans, dispelling misunderstanding of food irradiation.

Background/Objectives: This research investigated subjective value types of the nursing students about Biomedical Ethics, applying Q-method. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Data collecting process using Q-method is as follows: First, 38 male and female students who understand objective and importance of this study and filled separate 'research participation consent form' out were chosen as subjects, from 1st graders to 4th graders of Nursing department of J university. Data collecting period was from 27 Oct, 2014 to 21 Nov, 2014, through sorting Q-samples and individual interview. Findings: As a result, totally 4 types were deducted. Four types were named respectively as follows; rational conservatives, moderate progressives, reality accepters and unconditional life protectors. Necessity of further development of educational planning adequate for each type's characteristics and curriculum which helps efficient Biomedical Ethics education was brought up. Application/Improvements: This research will be of help in developing course of study that students can learn Biomedical Ethics more efficiently.

The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the ethnomedicinal practices on gastrointestinal disorders within communities in Jirisan National Park, Gayasan National Park, and Hallasan National Park of Korea. Data was collected through participant observations and indepth interviews with semistructured questionnaires. Methods for comparative analysis were accomplished using the informant consensus factor, fidelity level, and internetwork analysis. A total of 490 ethnomedicinal practices recorded from the communities were classified into 110 families, 176 genera, and 220 species that included plants, animals, fungi, and alga. The informant consensus factor values in the disorder categories were enteritis, and gastralgia (1.0), followed by indigestion (0.94), constipation (0.93), and abdominal pain and gastroenteric trouble (0.92). In terms of fidelity levels, 71 plant species showed fidelity levels of 100%. The internetwork analysis between disorders and all medicinal species are grouped in the center by the four categories of indigestion, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and gastroenteric trouble, respectively. Regarding the research method of this study, the comparative analysis methods will contribute to the availability of orally transmitted ethnomedicinal knowledge. Among the methods of analysis, the use of internetwork analysis as a tool for analysis in this study provides imperative internetwork maps between gastrointestinal disorders and medicinal species.

Understanding road features such as lanes, the color of lanes, and sidewalks in a live video captured from a moving vehicle is essential to build video-based navigation systems. In this paper, we present a novel idea to understand the road features using support vector machines. Various feature vectors including color components of road markings and the difference between two regions, i.e., chosen AOIs, and so on are fed into SVM, deciding colors of lanes and sidewalks robustly. U-healthcare is a convergence service combining traditional medical industry and Information Technology (IT). It provides a medical service and healthcare which one can access anytime and anywhere, safely and without limit. As the scale of Korea's U-healthcare market having reached 2 trillion Korean won in 2012, the prospects for this area are bright. At this point, this study has analyzed the efficiency of businesses related to Korea's U-healthcare using DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and the Malmquist index. The results show business effectiveness was not as high as expected in efficiency analysis which analyzed 2012 cross-sectional data. However, in the results using the Malmquist index, using 5 years of data to analyze longitudinally, 61.3% of businesses related to U-health have increased their productivity. This study has significance in being the first one to measure the change of efficiency and productivity, domestic U-healthcare, and to be considered to contribute to raising the business efficiency of Korea's U-healthcare.
