The survey aims to examine University students' environmental behaviors, policy preferences, professional goals and prosocial attitudes. Two survey studies are conducted, one in Sweden (University of Gothenburg) and one in Germany (University of Kassel) with overlapping items in order to compare behaviors and goals across the two countries and across different study programs. Correlations between items of the same outcome variable group (environmental behavior, environmental policy attitudes, and professional goals and prosocial attitudes), between items of different outcome variable groups, and between outcome variables and potential determinants will be analyzed in order to answer the defined hypotheses. Both studies are part of a larger panel survey project in their respective countries.

This project aims at measuring the effect of integrating sustainability into higher education (Business and Economics). More specifically we will analyze student project papers (bachelor and masters levels) using AI and advanced keyword search to detect trends in SDG-related topics over time. We also aim to assess whether specific educational efforts aimed at increasing sustainability knowledge and skills have had any impact that is measurable as SDG-related topics in student projects.

Major banks are facing increased public pressure to reduce financing for fossil fuel projects. In this decade of action for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (with a focus on SDG 13 – climate action), all sectors, including the financial sector, are urged to recognize the ways in which they impact these goals and how they can best contribute to their realization. But how are the top 10 most active banks in financing the fossil fuel industry responding to this pressure? Using qualitative textual analysis of these banks’ annual reports and a proposed categorization of how banks are talking about climate change, we highlight how these banks see their role in reducing climate impacts through their financing and whether their response has evolved since the Paris Agreement. We find that while these banks are stating an increasing number of climate change actions since the introduction of the Paris Agreement, there are few clear commitments in relation to their financing of fossil fuels. This absence of commitments in the annual reports may reflect an absence of critical reflection on their responsibility for financing climate change. Key policy insightsClimate-related financial disclosures should target banks’ climate impact regarding their client financing; most importantly this should be done in a clear, contextualized way so that regulators and the public can hold the banks accountable based on their disclosures.Effective policies need to explicitly consider how banks should measure and reduce climate impacts in a way that is comparable, aligned with the Paris Agreement, and in relation to banks’ credit financing operations to clients (not only from the direct operations of a bank, as has been the focus of banks’ commitments against climate change to date).Legislation mandating human rights and environmental due diligence with explicit considerations in relation to climate change is an example of a policy that would require banks to consider a broader scope of their impact assessment and disclosure reporting which could potentially establish clearer claims for remedies by impacted communities. Mot bakgrund av en kommande kursplanerevidering i ämnet engelska, var syftet med denna studie att belysa hur fyra mellanstadielärare uppfattar punkten "Strategier, däribland omformuleringar, frågor och stödjande fraser, för att bidra till och underlätta samtal och skriftlig interaktion, även digital", som står den reviderade kursplanens centrala innehåll. Digital interaktion är ett nytt innehåll i engelskämnets kursplan. Utifrån en fenomenografisk metod­ansats och genom kvalitativa intervjuer, var intresset därför att identifiera lärarnas uppfattningar om punkten, hur deras uppfattningar skiljer sig samt om det var möjligt att dra några slutsatser av den analyserade datan. Resultatet visade att lärarnas uppfattningar genomsyrades av att implement­ering av digital interaktion i engelskundervisning innebär en utmaning för både lärare och elever. Tre av fyra lärare kände en osäkerhet kring hur punkten skulle tolkas och att tolkningsutrymmet är för stort samt att de behöver kompetensutveckling gällande bedömning av digital interaktion. De upplevde också att elevernas varierade digitala kompetens och språkliga förmågor kommer att medföra att vissa elever kommer att få dubbla utmaningar. Två av lärarna uttryckte också en oro för att engelskundervisningen inte kommer att bli likvärdig. Den slutsats som dras är att lärare inte ges tillräckligt stöd från Skolverket gällande just denna specifika revidering och att Europas gemensamma referensram för språk (GERS) samt TPACK-modellen, som är framtagen för att främja produktiv och meningsfull undervisning med digital teknik, kan utgöra ett alternativt stöd i lärares implementeringsarbete.

We examine how attitudes and willingness to pay (WTP) for climate policies have changed over the past decade in the United States, China, and Sweden. All three countries exhibit an increased willingness to pay for climate mitigation. Ten years ago, Sweden had a larger fraction of believers in anthropogenic climate change and a higher WTP for mitigation, but today the national averages are more similar. Although we find convergence in public support for climate policy across countries, there is considerable divergence in climate attitudes and preferences within countries, particularly the United States.
