LncRNA HCG18 is considered to be an oncogene in many types of tumors. The aim of this study was to explore the role of lncRNA HCG18 in gastric cancer (GC).HCG18 levels in GC tissues were detected. Potential biological influences of HCG18 on GC cell phenotypes were examined by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), wound healing and transwell assay. Subsequently, bioinformatics analysis, Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Luciferase assay and rescue experiments were conducted to identify the regulatory network of HCG18 in GC.It was found that HCG18 was upregulated in GC samples, and the knockdown of HCG18 inhibited proliferative and migratory abilities in GC. The transcription factor E2F1 could directly bind to the promoter region of HCG18 and thus activate its transcription. In addition, HCG18 sponged miR-197-3p to stimulate the malignant development of GC.HCG18 is upregulated in GC samples by E2F1 induction, which stimulates proliferative and migratory abilities in GC by binding to miR-197-3p.

The aim of this study was to explore the application of standardized ultrasonography in the first trimester. A total of 1670 pregnant women who underwent ultrasonography in the first trimester (1706 fetuses) and 2,562 pregnant women who underwent ultrasonography in the second trimester (2637 fetuses) visiting the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2016 to December 2018 were included in this prospective study. Standardized ultrasonography was performed on the fetuses and pregnancy outcomes were tracked in abnormal cases. A total of 20 cases of fetal structural abnormalities were detected in the first trimester and the number of pregnant women who chose to induce labor was as high as 15. A total of 41 cases of fetal soft marker abnormalities were detected in the first trimester and most of these markers returned to normal. A total of 113 cases of malformed fetuses were detected in the second trimester. Additionally, those cases that did not undergo standardized ultrasonography in the first trimester were significantly more likely to show fetal abnormalities in the second trimester than those who had standardized ultrasonography in the first trimester. Some fetal malformations, especially some severe ones, can be detected by standardized ultrasonography in the first trimester. However, standardized ultrasonography in the second trimester which was regard as the best period for fetal malformation detection cannot be replaced by the first trimester. It is better to conduct standardized ultrasonography in both first and second trimesters.

Recent studies have determined the crucial role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in cancer development. Cervical cancer (CC) is a common type of fatal gynecological cancer worldwide. This study aims to identify the role of lncRNA AB073614 in the progression of CC.Relative level of AB073614 in 3 CC cell lines and 48 paired CC samples was determined by the quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). The potential regulatory effects of AB073614 on the cellular behaviors of CC cells were explored through apoptosis assay, colony formation assay, and proliferation assay in vitro. The underlying mechanism of AB073614 in mediating the progression of CC was also conducted.The AB073614 expression was remarkably higher in CC tissues than that in adjacent tissues. The knockdown of AB073614 inhibited proliferation but induced apoptosis of CC cells. In addition, RBM5 (RNA binding motif 5) was upregulated in CC cells after knockdown of AB073614 in vitro. Furthermore, a negative correlation was seen between the expressions of RBM5 and AB073614 in CC tissues.AB073614 could promote proliferation and inhibit apoptosis of CC cells through downregulating RBM5, which may offer a new therapeutic intervention for CC patients.

Two stages, induction stage and pore-formed stage, were distinguished in Al2Au’s dealloying process in HCl solutions by OCP, SEM and XPS characterization. In induction stage, the Au state with binding energy 85.4 eV (labelled as Al2Au (I)) was transformed into the state 84.7 eV (Al2Au (II)); in pore-formed stage, nanoporous structure started to be formed, Al2Au (II) and residual Al2Au (I) were transformed into the state 83.7 eV (pure Au). Multi-resolution analysis on OCP noise revealed that the induction stage and pore-formed stage undergo different corrosion modes: the former is local corrosion and the latter is global corrosion.

In this study, the impact and post-impact behavior of three-dimensional (3D) four-directional carbon/epoxy braided composites having different braiding angles were investigated. The same impact energy (45 J) was applied to the specimens. The post-impact mechanical properties of the materials were performed by compression after impact (CAI) testing, and the processes were monitored by the acoustic emission (AE) technique. Results showed that the specimens with larger braiding angle sustained higher peak loads, and smaller impact damage area, mainly attributed to a more compact space arrangement. The CAI strength and damage mechanism were found to be mainly dependent on the axial support of the braiding fiber tows. Increasing the braiding angle of the composites, the CAI strength was reduced, and the damage mode of the composites was changed from transverse fracture to shear one. Combining AE parameters and CAI curves allows one to characterize the failure process, thereby enabling fracture analysis of the materials under study.

The magnetization, electric resistivity ρ and anisotropy of Fe78Si9B13 glassy samples annealed by direct current heating (DCH) have been studied using various techniques. With increasing the direct current density (iDC), the saturation magnetization Ms and coercivity Hc of samples change non-monotonically, which can be explained by structural unit transition (fcc → bcc) at low iDC and the precipitation of Fe2B at high iDC. The samples after DCH in longitudinal direction show a higher Ms, and a lower ρ than those in transverse direction, which is due to magnetic anisotropy and thermal expansion anisotropy of Fe78Si9B13 amorphous ribbon. The sample after DCH in longitudinal direction with iDC = 2.5 × 105 A/cm2 has excellent comprehensive soft magnetic properties of Ms = 179.0 emu/g and Hc = 1.8 A/m. The anisotropic information of Fe-based glasses is helpful to fully explore the potential in their magnetic properties.

To prepare ion exchange doxorubicin-loaded poly (acrylic acid) microspheres (DPMs) and evaluate the properties of these chemoembolic agents.Poly (acrylic acid) microspheres (PMs) without drug were prepared by inverse suspension polymerization method and then doxorubicin was loaded by ion exchange mechanism to prepare DPMs. Optical microscope was used to investigate the morphology and particle size distribution of PMs and DPMs; fluorescence microscope and confocal microscope were used to observe the distribution of doxorubicin after drug loading. Elasticities of both the microspheres were evaluated by texture analyzer. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was established to determine the drug loading behavior of PMs and releasing behavior of DPMs. The in vivo embolic property was evaluated by embolizing the hepatic artery of a rabbit with 0.1 mL of DPMs.PMs and DPMs were both spherical in shape, smooth in surface and dispersed well. Doxorubicin was mainly in the outer area inside of DPMs and distributed evenly. The average particle size of PMs and DPMs were (283±136) μm and (248±149) μm, respectively. PMs and DPMs both had good compression ability with the Young's modulus of (62.63±1.65) kPa and (93.94±1.10) kPa separately. PMs reached the drug loading balance at 12 h, and the entrapment efficiency was greater than 99%. Drug loading of PMs in doxorubicin solution at the concentration of 5.0 g/L and 12.5 g/L was (19.78±0.27) g/L and (49.45±0.37) g/L, respectively. Doxorubicin released slowly from DPMs in PBS and the accumulative release percentages of DPMs with corresponding drug loading were 6.82%±0.02% and 2.83%±0.10% after 24 h, respectively. Arterial angiograms showed that the hepatic artery of the rabbit was successfully embolized with DPMs.DPMs with good performance of loading doxorubicin could be a potential embolic agent for transcatheter arterial chemoembolization.

The AZ91D (AZ91), Mg78Zn22 (MZ) and Mg73Zn22Ca5 (MZC) alloys are cast in ingots and then spun in ribbons with crystalline, semi-amorphous and fully amorphous structures, respectively. The α-Mg dendritic degree of ingots ranks as AZ91 ≤ MZ ≤ MZC. Three as-spun ribbons have a similar decolorization rate constant k on methyl blue (MB) solution; the immersed amorphous MZC ribbon has a much higher k than its as-spun counterpart, while the immersed AZ91 and MZ ribbons have a much lower k than their as-spun counterparts. The immersed MZC ribbon has an excellent reusability in MB decolorization due to the developed nanoporous luffa-sponge-like structures on ribbon surface, which possibly can be ascribed to the intrinsic netlike structural units in the amorphous and liquid states and to the structural heredity during solidification. This work not only provides a benign, efficient and low-cost decolorizer for the synthetic dyes, but also expands the application field of Mg-based amorphous alloys.

To study the relationship between gestational glucose, lipid metabolism parameters and fetal distress.Retrospectively, 82 cases of primipara with fetal distress and 246 cases of primipara without any obstetric complications were analyzed. The latter were treated as control group. All the patients were from the same hospital between January, 2014 and January, 2016. Factors as fasting plasma-glucose (FPG), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC),high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) parameters during early pregnancy, blood glucose of fasting, 1 hour and 2 hours in 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), at 24 to 28 weeks of gestation, hemoglobin and blood pressure parameters during ante partum were recorded for all the cases while parameters as glucose and lipid, hemoglobin, blood pressure and cesarean section rate were compared between the 2 groups.FPG during early gestation, blood glucose of fasting, 1 hour and 2 hours 75 g OGTT during mid gestation, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure during late gestation in the'fetal distress'group were significantly higher than that of the control group. Hemoglobin during late gestation in the fetal distress group was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P0.05). The rate of cesarean section in the fetal distress group was higher than that in the control group (χ(2)=4.489, P=0.034).High BMI at pre-pregnancy, high blood glucose during early and mid-gestation, high blood pressure and anemia during late gestation were related to the fetal distress group. Cesarean section rate was high for pregnancy women with fetal distress.

The goal of this study was to investigate the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in primary liver cancer (PLC) and their association with prognosis. Tumor tissue, non-tumor tissue, and blood samples of 75 PLC patients were collected. Blood samples of 20 volunteers were also collected as healthy controls. Real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction was used to analyze the mRNA levels of HIF-1α and VEGF in the tissues. Protein expression of HIF-1α and VEGF was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the expression of HIF-1α and VEGF at the serum level. Univariate tests, multivariate Cox proportional hazards model, and the Student t-test were used to analyze the data. HIF-1α and VEGF showed higher expression in PLC tumor tissue both at the mRNA and protein levels. HIF-1α and VEGF expression was positive in 62.67 and 66.67% of PLC patients, respectively. HIF-1α and VEGF expression was significantly related to tumor stage and lymph nodes and lung metastases (P < 0.05). HIF-1α expression correlated with VEGF expression in PLC (r = 0.665, P < 0.05). Both HIF-1α and VEGF were significantly associated with overall survival (P < 0.05), while HIF-1α was identified as an independent prognostic factor. Both HIF-1α and VEGF, as the predictors of efficacy of TACE and metastasis of PLC, are biomarkers indicating PLC in advanced stage, and implied poor prognosis in patients with PLC. HIF-1α and VEGF could potentially be targets to improve outcomes in PLC.

To observe the formation of the biofilm in endotracheal tubes, the characteristics of etiology, drug resistance and effect on the biofilm and ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) of inhaled N-acetylcysteine (NAC).We selected 117 tracheally intubated and undergoing mechanical ventilation for ≥48 h in our hospital ICU from September 2010 to August 2012. All the cases were randomly divided into control group (60 cases) and study group (57 cases). The patients in the study group were treated with different doses of aerosolized NAC according to different ages, starting the first administration within 12 hours of mechanical ventilation, once every 8 hours, until stopping mechanical ventilation. Comparison was performed on the two groups in biofilm structure under the scanning electron microscopy, biofilm culture positive rate, VAP incidence, the etiology and drug resistance of the lower airway secretions and biofilms.(1) Electron microscopy showed that biofilm had formed in the endotracheal tube inner wall in early period of mechanical ventilation. With prolonged mechanical ventilation, biofilm structure improved. At the same time of mechanical ventilation, the thickness of biofilm in the study group decreased as compared with the control group. (2) Biofilm culture positive rate and incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia decreased in the study group compared with in the control group (65%(37/57) vs. 80%(48/60), P0.05; 11% (6/57)vs. 32%(19/60), P0.01). (3) A large number of pathogenic bacteria colonized in the biofilm and gram-negative bacilli dominated. With prolonged mechanical ventilation, the cultured pathogens converged from the lower airway secretions and biofilm.With prolonged mechanical ventilation, biofilm structure was improved. Inhalation of NAC can inhibit biofilm formation and reduce the incidence of VAP.

Conventional D-InSAR (Differential SAR Interferometry) can only monitor 1-D surface deformation along LOS (line of sight) direction. In order to overcome this limitation and extract 3-D coseismic displacement, we combine the LOS displacement derived from D-InSAR technology, the OKADA elastic half space dislocation model theory, jointly the surface rupture distribution by field investigations and the fault model inverted by GPS, level data and gravity survey to retrieve the directions of surface co-seismic displacement, and then have got Wenchuan Ms8.0 Earthquake 3D displacement. Firstly, thirty six L-band PALSAR images of six adjacent ascending tracks are processed with D-InSAR technology to obtain the coseismic displacements along LOS direction. According to the OKADA model and the thrust fault movement model of the Long-Men-Shan Fault , we specify the three directions of surface coseismic displacements. And thus the 3D coseismic displacement field is then recovered by using LOS displacement and relevant geometric projection formulas, obviously including horizontal displacements field and vertical deformation contour maps. By comparing with the 3D displacement estimated from OKADA dislocation model and fault model, the displacement retrieved in this study can give more detail, and reflect seismic characteristics more truly.

Stochastic resonance (SR) has been regarded as improving functions of sensory and motor in human via noise input, and increasing feedback of somatosensory may improve ability of posture control in upright standing. To date, regardless of previous literature has reported its efficacy of improving postural control, whether optimal noise can be used remains largely unknown. Present studies examined whether there was effect on postural control in upright standing using two types of interference waves: white noise (WN) with sinusoid signal and Gaussian noise (GN) with sinusoid signal. The finding suggests a promising setup for its application to increase postural control in upright standing. This study is aimed to examine the different effect on postural control in upright standing using two types of interference waves.

According to the basic characteristics and composition of heat-reflective coating, combining with the functional requirements of road materials, the experiment selects the epoxy resin with good wear resistance and adhesive force as a film forming material, with TiO2, SiO2 and extinction powder as the main functional filler. The experiment gets a good formula with suitable viscosity, low glossiness and good cooling effect, optimizes by orthogonal experiment. The experiment evaluates the indoor and outdoor cooling effect of heat-reflective coating, and analyses the road performance of the coating. The results shows that the better heat-reflective coating formula included 12% of titanium dioxide, 4% of silica and 4% of extinction powder. When the dosage of coating is 0.8kg/m2, the indoor specimen of heat-reflective coating decrease the temperature of 12 ~ 14°C, and the specimen under solar radiation can reduce the temperature of 7 ~ 9°C. The pavement of heat-reflective coating has good wear resistance, but the road slip resistance partly declines. Therefore, it needs to add the anti-sliding particles to meet the safe driving requirements.

The genus Eucriotettix Hebard from China was reviewed and 13 were species recorded, including two new species: Eucriotettix nigripennis Deng & Zheng n. sp. and Eucriotettix strictivertex Deng & Zheng n. sp. A key to the species of Eucriotettix from China is provided. Type specimens were deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University.

To probe the relations between sensorineural deafness and flying in aviation or space.Case studies of sensorineural deafness were made in 36 pilots.Unilateral deafness (n=15) and bilateral deafness (n=21) were found in 36 pilots, with mild deafness (n=9), moderate deafness (n=37) and severe deafness (n=11) in 57 ears. 19 cases were permanently grounded and 17 cases were still in a qualified position to continue their flying job.Sensorineural deafness may hazard the flying in aviation or space, meanwhile the flying in aviation or space may lead to or aggravate sensorineural deafness.

To study the characteristics of Meniere's disease in aircrew and its possible influence on space flight.Case studies of Meniere's disease were carried out in 22 pilots.There were vertigo (n=22), tinnitus (n=21), abnormal hearing (n=19) and abnormal vestibular function (n=11) in 22 pilots.Meniere's disease may hazard the flying in aviation or space and flying may further damage the inner ears of patients with Meniere's disease.

To observe the characteristics of allergic rhinitis in aircrew and its effect on flight.Case studies of allergic rhinitis were made in 32 aircrew.There were 20 cases of perennial allergic rhinitis and 12 cases of seasonal allergic rhinitis in 32 aircrew. Twenty-six cases are still in a qualified position to continue their flying job and the other six cases were permanently grounded.Allergic rhinitis in aircrew may affect the flying in aviation or space flight and the flying in aviation or space may induce or aggravate allergic rhinitis.

We detect the expression of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in 104 specimens of gastric cancer by avidin biotin-peroxides complex technique (ABC). The positive rates of EGF, EGFR and synchronous EGF and EGFR were 35.6%, 42.3%, 30.8% respectively. The positive expression of EGF and EGFR to gastric cancer tissue was inclined to occur in patients who were in advanced stages, of poorly-differentiated types, Borrmann III, IV types, scirrhous type, seroinvasive type or lymph node metastasic types. The survival rates at 1, 3, 5 years after gastrectomy in the patients with expression of EGF were significantly lower than the survival rates of the patients with negative expression (P0.05). The patients with synchronous expression of EGF and EGFR had the worst prognosis. After gastrectomy, all of them died within 4 years. It is indicated that EGF and EGFR could serve as biological indicators of gastric cancer malignancy and an index for evaluating, the prognosis of the patients with gastric cancer.

INTRODUCTION Core muscle provides proximal stability for efficient lower extremity movement. Bad posture is often caused by primary muscle tightness and weakness of its antagonist. Prolong bad posture may weaken the muscle, and lead to back pain. In previous report, paraspinal muscle has been related chronic law back pain. Scoliosis may be caused by the different activation of back extensors. Core muscle training can improve strength and dynamic stabilization, which may be beneficial to scoliosic patient. Back muscle is important in maintaining the stabilization of the trunk. Unilateral spinal extensor activity can improve its strength, mobility, and endurance. For this purpose, we designed three postures and further determined the most effective exercise on back muscle firing .

INTRODUCTION Jogging injuries are primarily caused by overuse that biomechanics factors could play an important role for the detection of runner injury. The impact forces have been implicated as primary causes of running injuries. The impact force during treadmill jogging is hard to collect using force plate in our previous research experience. We use the in-sole plantar pressure system to overcome this problem in the current study.

Cells of Schizosaccharomyces pombe TMB 1138, which are capable of metabolizing-malate, was immobilized in calcium alginate gel to carry out maloalcoholic fermentation. Four milliliters of cell suspension containing about 2.0 X 10(7) cells were entrapped in 16 ml of sodium alginate solution in order to prepare 2% Na-alginate (w/v) gel bead. After activation by incubating at 28 degrees C for 24 h in grape juice, 300 beads of immobilized cells were inoculated into the fermentation medium. After fermentation was proceeded at 25 or 28 degrees C for 24 h by shaking, it could metabolize L-malate completely and the total acidity was also reduced. Under the same condition for batch fermentation, it was found that the utilization of L-malic acid was over 97% for the first 7 days in fermentation medium, 85% for the first 4 days in grape juice and 87% for the first 4 days in wine. Furthermore, for the continuous fermentation in wine, the conversion of L-malic acid reached 92% in 24 h and could be maintained at 75% in the following 9 days.
