The on-demand assembly of 2D heterostructures has brought about both novel interfacial physical chemistry and optoelectronic applications; however, existing studies rarely focus on the complementary part—the 2D cavity, which is a new-born area with unprecedented opportunities. In this study, we have investigated the electric field inside a spacer-free 2D cavity consisting of a monolayer semiconductor and a gold film substrate. We have directly captured the built-in electric field crossing a blinking 2D cavity using a Kelvin probe force microscopy–Raman system. The simultaneously recorded morphology (M), electric field (E), and optical spectroscopy (O) mapping profile unambiguously reveals dynamical fluctuations of the interfacial electric field under a constant cavity height. Moreover, we have also prepared non-blinking 2D cavities and analyzed the gap-dependent electric field evolution with a gradual heating procedure, which further enhances the maximum electric field exceeding 109 V/m. Our work has revealed substantial insights into the built-in electric field within a 2D cavity, which will benefit adventures in electric-field-dependent interfacial sciences and future applications of 2D chemical nanoreactors. Opium poppy, coca and cannabis are raw materials for three notorious illicit drugs. For a long time, drug lords have been growing and smuggling these drugs in a variety of ways and channels and are continually finding new ways of trafficking their wares, which has led to the increasing difficulty of global drug enforcement. In the present paper, we propose an innovative pollen identification system for these important drug plants, which provides a tool for screening and detection of the drugs to aid in drug enforcement. By utilizing the characteristics of these fine particles, their abundant production, and high resistance to decay, we believe this tool could be applied in the following scenarios: detecting and dynamically monitoring drug cultivation activities; determining whether a suspect has been to fields of drug plants and determining whether the site has ever been planted with a drug plant and/or was involved in drug production. In the future, combined with microscope automatic image acquisition technology and intelligent image recognition technology, this pollen identification system is expected to be used to screen three notorious illicit drug plants, thus enhancing the efficiency of drug related crime investigations. Purpose: To analyze the causal relationship between 486 human serum metabolites and the active tuberculosis (ATB) in European population. Methods: In this study, the causal relationship between human serum metabolites and the ATB was analyzed by integrating the genome-wide association study (GWAS). The 486 human serum metabolites were used as the exposure variable, three different ATB GWAS databases in the European population were set as outcome variables, and single nucleotide polymorphisms were used as instrumental variables for Mendelian Randomization. The inverse variance weighting was estimated causality, the MR-Egger intercept to estimate horizontal pleiotropy, and the combined effects of metabolites were also considered in the meta-analysis. Furthermore, the web-based MetaboAnalyst 6.0 was engaged for enrichment pathway analysis, while R (version 4.3.2) software and Review Manager 5.3 were employed for statistical analysis. Results: A total of 21, 17, and 19 metabolites strongly associated with ATB were found in the three databases after preliminary screening (P < 0.05). The intersecting metabolites across these databases included tryptophan, betaine, 1-linoleoylglycerol (1-monolinolein) (1-LG), 1-eicosatrienoylglycerophosphocholine, and oleoylcarnitine. Among them, betaine (I2 = 24%, P = 0.27) and 1-LG (I2 = 0%, P = 0.62) showed the lowest heterogeneity among the different ATB databases. In addition, the metabolic pathways of phosphatidylethanolamine biosynthesis (P = 0.0068), methionine metabolism (P = 0.0089), betaine metabolism (P = 0.0205) and oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids (P = 0.0309) were also associated with ATB. Conclusion: Betaine and 1-LG may be biomarkers or auxiliary diagnostic tools for ATB. They may provide new guidance for medical practice in the early diagnosis and surveillance of ATB. In addition, by interfering with phosphatidylethanolamine biosynthesis, methionine metabolism, betaine metabolism, oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids, and other pathways, it is helpful to develop new anti-tuberculosis drugs and explore the virulence or pathogenesis of ATB at a deeper level, providing an effective reference for future studies. Summary: In this study, the problem of preview tracking control (PTC) was considered with regard to the linear parameter periodic systems (LPPSs) subject to previewed signals. First, the difference operator approach was extended to derive an augmented error system (AES). As a result, the PTC problem was transformed into a stabilization problem via state/output feedback. Second, sufficient conditions guaranteeing the closed‐loop stability of the augmented error systems were derived, and the design of a periodic controller with preview actions was proposed through the approach of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Plants play a crucial role as a removal pathway in constructed wetlands, demonstrating the ability to absorb and tolerate antibiotics from wastewater. However, the specific contribution of plants in this regard has not yet to be sufficiently established. To gain a more comprehensive insight into the associated processes, we selected three common wetland plant species, Canna indica L. (C. indica), Cyperus alternifolius L. (C. alternifolius), and Thalia dealbata Fraser (T. dealbata), to evaluate their capacity for uptake, accumulation, and physiological response in the removal of sulfamethoxazole (SMX) at varying initial concentrations (10, 30, 100, and 300 µg/L) under hydroponic conditions. The results showed that SMX removal was more efficient at lower concentrations (10 and 30 µg/L) than at higher concentrations (100 and 300 µg/L). Moreover, plant systems were found to consistently outperform unplanted systems in SMX removal. Among the assessed species, C. indica was identified as being relatively effective in the removal of SMX, whereas the performance of C. alternifolius was notably less pronounced. A positive correlation was observed between the concentration of SMX in the plant tissues and that in the external aqueous medium. However, plant tissue residues contributed only a minor fraction to the overall removal of SMX. Wetland plants absorb SMX through their roots, and we accordingly detected significantly higher concentrations in submerged plant tissues. Furthermore, we also detected reductions in net photosynthetic rates indicative of potential phytotoxicity, which is associated with the accumulation of antibiotic in the shoot tissues. Accumulation of SMX in the roots and rhizomes was also found to be associated with the development of shorter roots, with this effect becoming more pronounced with an increase in the concentration of exogenous SMX. However, despite these adverse effects, plants can detoxify antibiotics via the glutathione pathway. Of the assessed plant species, C. indica was identified as the most SMX tolerant, as indicated by Km and Vmax values, with C. alternifolius being the least tolerant. Our findings in this study reveal the potential value of wetland plants in the sequestration of antibiotics and provide evidence for the underlying mechanisms of action. These findings could make an important contribution to the implementation of phytoremediation in antibiotic-contaminated water. Three wetland plants with fibrous root systems, namely Canna indica, Cyperus alterniflius, and Thalia dealbata, were selected to investigate the removal efficiencies of sulfamethoxazole in the hydroponic system by different emergent plants, quantify the contribution of uptake and accumulation for sulfamethoxazole in plant tissues, and assess the physiological responses of plants and their effect on the removal of sulfamethoxazole. The knowledge obtained from this study shows the potential use of wetland plants for removing antibiotics and the inherent mechanisms, which will be useful for the application of phytoremediation in antibiotic contaminated water. Chidamide (CS055/HBI-8000, tucidinostat) has shown promising effects in the clinical treatment of various hematologic tumors. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) has shown highly heterogeneous biological characteristics. There are complex mechanisms of the role of chidamide in DLBCL for in-depth study. It is essential to probe further into the mechanism of drug-tumor interactions as a guide to clinical application and to understand the occurrence and progression of DLBCL. In vitro and in vivo models were utilized to determine the effects of chidamide on signaling pathways involved in the DLBCL tumor microenvironment. The experimental results show that chidamide inhibited the proliferation of DLBCL cell lines in a dose- and time-dependent manner, and down-regulated the expression of NOTCH1 and NFATC1 in DLBCL cells as well as decreased the concentration of IL-10 in the supernatant. In addition, chidamide significantly lowered the expression of PD1 or TIM3 on CD4+T cells and CD8+T cells and elevated the levels of IL-2, IFN-γ, and TNF-α in the serum of animal models, which augmented the function of circulating T cells and tumor-infiltrating T cells and ultimately significantly repressed the growth of tumors. These findings prove that chidamide can effectively inhibit the cell activity of DLBCL cell lines by inhibiting the activation of NOTCH1 and NFATC1 signaling pathways. It can also improve the abnormal DLBCL microenvironment in which immune escape occurs, and inhibit immune escape. With the increasing application of thin-film sensors in high-temperature applications, there is an escalating demand for insulation layers that provide enhanced resistance to elevated temperatures. However, failure often occurs because of the mismatch in thermal expansion coefficients between the insulation layer and the substrate. This study proposes an underlayer comprising a double ceramic layer of CeYSZ and Al 2 O 3 , which preserves the high thermal expansion coefficient and corrosion resistance of CeYSZ while enhancing its electrical insulating properties. The high-temperature electrical insulation performance of underlayers with different ceramic layer structures was experimentally evaluated. The results indicate that the CeYSZ/Al 2 O 3 double ceramic layer exhibits an electrical resistance of 2.1*106 Ω at 800 °C and minimal drift after 5 h, demonstrating high stability. Finally, PdCr thin-film strain gauges were fabricated on CeYSZ/Al 2 O 3 double ceramic layer, revealing the stability of the electrical resistance at high temperatures. The porosity of the underlayer cross-sections was also compared, revealing that the double ceramic layer coating effectively fills pores and cracks inherent in single-layer coatings. This mitigation of conductive pathways reduces the occurrence of such defects, thereby enhancing the high-temperature insulation performance of the underlayer. © 2014 xxxxxxxx. Background: Risk factors for temporomandibular disorder (TMD) pain remain unclear. Objectives: This study aimed to identify risk factors for TMD pain using a biopsychosocial model and to investigate interactions between potential risk factors—oral behaviours (OBs), psychological factors and sleep quality—and their direct and indirect effects on TMD pain. Methods: This was a cross‐sectional study of 488 patients with TMDs (422 women; 30.8 ± 9.4 years). Pain was assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale. Demographic, behavioural, psychological and biomedical data were collected through clinical examination, face‐to‐face interviews and questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with TMD pain. Mediation and moderation analysis were used to evaluate interactions between variables. Significant mediation ('0' not included in the 95% confidence interval (CI)) and moderation (p <.05) effects on TMD pain were identified. Results: Marital status, diagnosis subgroup, previous medication use, depression and sleep quality were significant risk factors for TMD pain (p <.05). Significant mediation effects were observed as follows: depression and sleep quality mediated the association between OBs and pain; sleep quality mediated the association between somatization, depression, anxiety and pain; and depression mediated the association between sleep quality and pain (all 95% CI did not contain '0'). Conclusions: (1) Marital status, diagnosis subgroup, previous medication use, depression and sleep quality were associated with TMD pain. In this paper, we investigate the 3D incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations and establish several logarithmically improved regularity criteria in the homogeneous Besov space. These criteria are based on certain assumptions made in the velocity field and pressure, respectively. The first result solely based on the velocity field indicates that the velocity field plays a dominant role in determining the regularity of weak solutions, when compared with the magnetic field. Mechanical ventilation (MV), used in patients with acute lung injury (ALI), induces diaphragmatic myofiber atrophy and contractile inactivity, termed ventilator-induced diaphragm dysfunction. Phosphoinositide 3-kinase-γ (PI3K-γ) is crucial in modulating fibrogenesis during the reparative phase of ALI; however, the mechanisms regulating the interactions among MV, myofiber fibrosis, and PI3K-γ remain unclear. We hypothesized that MV with or without bleomycin treatment would increase diaphragm muscle fibrosis through the PI3K-γ pathway. Five days after receiving a single bolus of 0.075 units of bleomycin intratracheally, C57BL/6 mice were exposed to 6 or 10 mL/kg of MV for 8 h after receiving 5 mg/kg of AS605240 intraperitoneally. In wild-type mice, bleomycin exposure followed by MV 10 mL/kg prompted significant increases in disruptions of diaphragmatic myofibrillar organization, transforming growth factor-β1, oxidative loads, Masson's trichrome staining, extracellular collagen levels, positive staining of α-smooth muscle actin, PI3K-γ expression, and myonuclear apoptosis (p < 0.05). Decreased diaphragm contractility and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ coactivator-1α levels were also observed (p < 0.05). MV-augmented bleomycin-induced diaphragm fibrosis and myonuclear apoptosis were attenuated in PI3K-γ-deficient mice and through AS605240-induced inhibition of PI3K-γ activity (p < 0.05). The prognostic analysis for high grade serous adenocarcinoma (HGSC) holds significant clinical importance. However, current prognostic analysis primarily relies on statistical techniques like logistic regression and chi-square analysis alongside traditional machine learning methods based on pattern recognition. These approaches face challenges in addressing the limited reliability and validity of evaluation results, as well as the absence of reliable prognostic indicators. To identify a reliable prognostic evaluation method for high grade serous adenocarcinoma, a novel prognostic evaluation method was constructed using multi-modal deep learning techniques and compared with existing methods using data from 210 patients with high grade serous adenocarcinoma (stage III). The experimental results showed that the accuracy of this method for prognostic analysis was 80.0%, and the detection rate for poor prognosis cases was 82.87%, which was superior to current methods. Our proposed method could also automatically extract key features from different datasets and efficiently predict patient outcomes. Overall, this study laid the groundwork to overcome the difficulties in the prognostic evaluation of HGSC, help clinicians better understand the pathogenesis, and improve the long-term survival rates of this patient population. Background: Evidence suggests that radiotherapy is a potent immunomodulator in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Conversely, it has rarely been demonstrated if immune infiltration can influence radiotherapy efficacy. Herein, we explored the effect of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) on the response to postoperative radiotherapy (PORT) in completely resected stage III-pN2 NSCLC. Methods: This retrospective study included 244 patients with pathologically confirmed stage III-N2 NSCLC who underwent complete resection at our institution between 2014 and 2020. TILs were assessed with permanent full-face hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) sections and the evaluation of TILs was based on a published guideline. Patients were stratified into the TILlow or TILhigh group with a cutoff value of 50%. Kaplan-Meier method and Log‐rank test were utilized to assess disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis were conducted to determine prognostic indicators. Results: Among 244 patients, a total of 121 patients received PORT whereas 123 did not. TILs level in patients with PORT was significantly higher than that in patients without PORT (p < 0.001). High TILs level was significantly associated with an improved DFS and OS in all the entire chort (DFS, p < 0.001; OS, p = 0.001), PORT chort (DFS, p = 0.003; OS, p = 0.011) and non-PORT chort (DFS, p < 0.001; OS, p = 0.034). There were no significant survival differences between different treatment modalities in the low TILs infiltration (DFS, p = 0.244; OS, p = 0.404) and high TILs infiltration (DFS, p = 0.167; OS, p = 0.958) groups. Conclusions: TILs evaluated with H&E sections could represent a prognostic biomarker in patients with completely resected pN2 NSCLC, and high TILs infiltration was associated with favorable survival outcomes.The predictive value of TILs for PORT still need to be further explored in the future. Background: Early diagnosis of HIV infection decreases the time from HIV diagnosis to viral suppression and reduces further HIV transmission. The Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of HIV/AIDS (2021 edition) state that an HIV RNA level > 5,000 copies/mL is the threshold for diagnosing HIV infection. The impact of low viral load values on HIV diagnosis needs to be investigated. Methods: There were 3455 human immunodeficiency virus (HIV1 + 2) antibody results (immunoblotting method) and 65,129 HIV viral load values at Beijing Youan Hospital from 2019 to 2022. A total of 2434 patients had both antibody confirmatory results and viral load results. The confirmatory antibody results and HIV viral load results of 2434 patients were analyzed to investigate the impact of low viral load values on HIV diagnosis. Results: Of the 2434 patients who had both confirmatory antibody results and viral load results, the viral load values of 140 patients (5.8%) had viral loads ranging from 40 copies/mL to 5,000 copies/mL before positive confirmatory antibody result, and of these 140 patients, the sample receipt time for the viral load tests of 96 (66.7%) individuals was 1 to 6 days earlier than the corresponding sample receipt time for the confirmatory antibody test. In addition, 34 patients (1.4%) had low viral loads ranging from 40 copies/mL to 1,000 copies/mL before positive confirmatory antibody result. Conclusion: This study revealed that there is a risk of missed diagnosis if a threshold of 5000 copies/mL is used for the diagnosis of HIV infection. Debris flow risk assessment can provide some reference for debris flow prevention and control projects. In risk assessment, researchers often only focus on the impact of objective or subjective indicators. For this purpose, this paper proposed a weight calculation method based on t-distribution and linear programming optimization algorithm (LPOA). Taking 72 mudslides in Beichuan County as an example, this paper used analytic hierarchy process (AHP), entropy weight method (EWM) and variation coefficient method (VCM) to obtain the initial weights. Based on the initial weights, weight intervals with different confidence levels were obtained by t-distribution. Subsequently, the final weights were obtained by LOPA in the 90% confidence interval. Finally, the final weights were used to calculate the risk score for each debris flow, thus delineating the level of risk for each debris flow. The results showed that this paper's method can avoid overemphasizing the importance of a particular indicator compared to EWM and VCM. In contrast, EWM and VCM ignored the effect of debris flow frequency on debris flow risk. The assessment results showed that the 72 debris flows in Beichuan County were mainly dominated by moderate and light risks. Of these, there were 8 high risk debris flows, 24 medium risk debris flows, and 40 light risk debris flows. The excellent triggering conditions provide favorable conditions for the formation of high-risk debris flows. Slightly and moderate risk debris flows are mainly located on both sides of highways and rivers, still posing a minor threat to Beichuan County. The proposed fusion weighting method effectively avoids the limitations of single weight calculating method. Through comparison and data analysis, the rationality of the proposed method is verified, which can provide some reference for combination weighting method and debris flow risk assessment. Aim: To explore the views and experiences of formal caregivers caring for older inpatients with physical disabilities. Methods: It was a qualitative phenomenological study. Using purposive sampling, twelve formal caregivers were chosen in a tertiary comprehensive hospital in Hangzhou, China. Semi-structured, face-to-face interviews were conducted, guided by open-ended questions that focused on gaining rich insights into participants' views and experiences. Coding reliability thematic analysis was used to guide data analysis and categorize, based on Lazarus and Folkman's theory of transactional coping. Results: Four themes emerged from the data analysis: (1) Caregiving Threats. (2) motivations. (3) Responsibility Management. (4) Fear. Conclusion: Despite facing significant pressure at work, formal caregivers of elderly inpatients with physical disabilities possess the drive and various coping strategies to excel in their role. Although single-atom Cu sites exhibit high efficiency in CO2 hydrogenation to methanol, they are prone to forming Cu nanoparticles due to reduction and aggregation under reaction conditions, especially at high temperatures. Herein, single-atom Cu sites stabilized by adjacent Na+ ions have been successfully constructed within a metal–organic framework (MOF)-based catalyst, namely MOF-808-NaCu. It is found that the electrostatic interaction between the Na+ and Hδ− species plays a pivotal role in upholding the atomic dispersion of Cu in MOF-808-NaCu during CO2 hydrogenation, even at temperatures of up to 275°C. This exceptional stabilization effect endows the catalyst with excellent activity (306 g·kgcat−1·h−1), high selectivity to methanol (93%) and long-term stability at elevated reaction temperatures, far surpassing the counterpart in the absence of Na+ (denoted as MOF-808-Cu). This work develops an effective strategy for the fabrication of stable single-atom sites for advanced catalysis by creating an alkali-decorated microenvironment in close proximity. Ischemic stroke can be a serious complication of selective carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in patients with carotid artery stenosis (CAS). The underlying risk factors and mechanisms of these postoperative strokes are not completely understood. Our previous study showed that TMEM166-induced neuronal autophagy is involved in the development of secondary brain injury following cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. This current study aimed to investigate the role of TMEM166 in ischemic stroke following CEA. In the clinical part of this study, the quantitative analysis demonstrated circulating TMEM166, interleukin 6 (IL-6), and Creactive protein (CRP) levels were significantly elevated in patients who suffered an ischemic stroke after CEA compared to those who did not. Furthermore, non-survivors exhibited higher levels of these proteins than survivors. In the preclinical part of this study, a middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model was implemented following CAS simulation in TMEM166-/- mice. We found TMEM166 expression was positively correlated with the degree of ischemic brain injury. Ad5-TMEM166 transfection aggravated ischemic brain injury by inducing microglial autophagy activation and release of inflammatory cytokines. Accordingly, TMEM166 deficiency reduced brain inflammation and inhibited excessive microglial autophagy through the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway. These findings suggest that TMEM166 may play a key role in the development of ischemic injury after CEA and may serve as a biomarker for risk assessment of postoperative ischemic stroke. The penalized variable selection methods are often used to select the relevant covariates and estimate the unknown regression coefficients simultaneously, but these existing methods may fail to be consistent for the setting with highly correlated covariates. In this paper, the semi-standard partial covariance (SPAC) method with Lasso penalty is proposed to study the generalized linear model with highly correlated covariates, and the consistencies of the estimation and variable selection are shown in high-dimensional settings under some regularity conditions. Some simulation studies and an analysis of colon tumor dataset are carried out to show that the proposed method performs better in addressing highly correlated problem than the traditional penalized variable selection methods. This study examines the heterogeneous impacts of minimum wages, which could affect low-income workers’ earnings and employment opportunities, on crime rates across neighboring communities. Using geo-tagged reported crime incident data from 18 major U.S. cities, we find that minimum wage increases reduce violent crime rates notably more in low-income communities than in high-income ones. On average, a one-dollar real minimum wage increase narrows the disparity in quarterly violent crime rates between low- and high-income communities by 12%. The femoral neck is the most vulnerable site for fractures within the hip joint. Due to its complex three-dimensional structure and special blood supply mechanism, the treatment of femoral neck fractures is difficult and the healing probability is low. Using computers to accurately and automatically locate the femoral neck axis can detect the density of femoral neck, the neck-shaft angle and the anteversion angle, which effectively assists in the prevention and treatment of femoral neck fractures. Additionally, the traditional femoral neck axis positioning schemes have limitations in accuracy, automation and assistance to bone density measurement. Therefore, this paper proposes a new fully automatic femoral neck axis positioning method. First, the coronal plane's three-dimensional reconstruction highlights the details of the target bone, and then designs a coarse localization module based on multi-scale template matching to obtain the rough range of the femoral neck axis. Then, a detailed localization module based on the femoral neck virtual slices is used to obtain the contour centers and accurately locates the three-dimensional femoral neck axis. This method has been validated in comparison with the manual measurement method. The utilization of improper thawing methods can potentially compromise the quality of food, while the degeneration of myofibrillar protein during the thawing process directly impacts the alteration of physical and chemical properties of food. The effects of high-pressure thawing (HPT), water immersion thawing (WIT), and air thawing (AT) on the quality and myofibrillar protein (MP) denaturation of salmon were investigated. The thawing times of WIT, AT, and HPT-300 MPa were 23.6, 116.6, and 10.1 min, respectively, suggesting that HPT improved the rate of thawing. Compared with conventional thawing methods, the color difference of HPT-100 MPa and the water loss of HPT-150 MPa were reduced by 56.77% and 6.77%, respectively, and textural deterioration was weakened, preserving the quality of thawed salmon. In the current study, 200 and 300 MPa were the pressure thresholds for the degradation of salmon myosin and actin proteins, respectively. Meanwhile, HPT induced noticeable changes in the stability, secondary structure, and micromorphology of salmon MPs, which affected various physical and chemical properties of thawed salmon samples, such as water loss, color, and texture. In particular, the spatial structure stability of MP can be better maintained at HPT-100 MPa and HPT-150 MPa. HPT can be an alternative strategy to the traditional thawing of salmon. Voltinism and life‐history traits of the invasive fall armyworm (FAW) Spodoptera frugiperda were investigated under semi‐natural conditions for a period of 2 years. The FAW invaded the corn field in the suburbs of Nanchang (28°46′ N, 115°50′ E) in early summer and produced six complete generations. FAW had the characteristics of short developmental time, high survival rates and strong fecundity. The development time of female pupae was significantly faster than that of male pupae, resulting in the emergence of female pupae earlier than male pupae. Except for the sixth generation in 2021, there was no significant difference between female and male sex ratio, which was close to 1:1. FAW showed male‐bias sexual size dimorphism with male pupae being significantly larger than female pupae. Unlike pupal weight, in most generations, male adult weighed significantly less than females, because the weight loss of male pupae during metamorphosis was significantly greater than that of female pupae. The temporal variation of pupal weight did not conform to the temperature–size rule. Compared with 22.8°C, the 29.2°C high temperature not only significantly reduced the development time of larvae but also significantly increased pupal weight. The adult fecundity feeding on fresh corn leaves was higher than that feeding on live corn plants in most generations. In most generations, pupal weight was positively correlated with larval development time and adult weight was positively correlated with fecundity. In conclusion, climate differences between generations and years have significant effects on developmental time, body weight, sexual size dimorphism and fecundity of the FAW. These results add to the understanding of the evolution of life‐history traits in the FAW and may have important implications for predicting population dynamics of the FAW and optimising control strategies. Non-aromatic fluorescent and multi-responsive materials, exhibiting inherent fluorescence emission and controlled phase change, have garnered significant attention in recent years. However, the underlying interaction between their fluorescent properties and phase transition remains unclear. In this study, we synthesized a series of catalyst-free aza-Michael addition-based polyethyleneimine (RFPEI) materials by reacting polyethyleneimine (PEI) with N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAM). The resulting RFPEI was comprehensively characterized, and demonstrated dual-phase transition behavior (LCST and UCST) in water, which could be finely tuned by adjusting its composition or external factors such as pH. Notably, upon UV irradiation (365 nm), RFPEI exhibited strong fluorescence emission. We further investigated the effects of NIPAM grafting percentage to PEI, polymer concentration, and pH on the LCST/UCST and fluorescent properties of RFPEI aqueous solutions. Moreover, we showcased the great potential of RFPEI as a versatile tool for physiological cell imaging, trace detection, and controlled release of doxorubicin. Compared with traditional portland cementitious material, alkali-activated material (AAM) had the advantages of low carbon emission, energy saving, excellent durability, strength, and high temperature resistance. It has been proved that the addition of a fiber or nano-particle could improve the mechanical properties of AAM. The fresh and hardened properties of nano-CaCO3 (NCC) and polypropylene fiber (PPF) reinforced AAM were studied in this paper. The hybrid effects of PPF with various volume fractions (0%, 4%, and 8%), aspect ratios (0–464.52), and NCC with various content (0%, 1%, and 2%) on the slump spread, flow rate, flexural strength, compressive strength, and ultrasonic velocity of AAM were investigated. For flowability, the mixture with 0.4% 6 mm and 0.4% 12 mm PPF was the optimal, showing a positive hybrid effect. The hybrid use of PPF and NCC significantly improved the flexural strength, but the compressive strength was not significantly improved. The hybrid effect factors for compressive strength were lower than those for flexural strength. The positive hybrid effect of strength was most obvious when the nano-CaCO3 was 1%. The threshold for fiber factors was 200. Microstructure studies showed that the bridging effect of PPFs can limit the crack development and enhance the strength of AAM. Nano-CaCO3 promoted the denseness of AAM and bond between fiber and matrix. The hybrid of PPF in different lengths and NCC could decrease fiber consumption, reducing the cost and promoting the engineering application of fiber-reinforced AAMs. The effect of hybridization of calcium carbonate nano-particles with polypropylene fibers on the fresh and hardening properties of alkali-activated materials has practical applications in the construction industry. One of its main advantages is its excellent flowability, which allows the material to be self-consolidating. This property allows it to be used effectively in areas such as post-tensioned grouting, pipe concrete, and other grouting processes, where the material flows effortlessly and fills voids efficiently. In addition, the mixing effect of the CaCO3 -nano-particles and the polypropylene fibers enhances the stability and strength of the material, which further enhances the durability and structural stability of the concrete elements. Overall, this blend has excellent flow and self-consolidation properties, making it an important choice for applications such as postgrouting and reinforced concrete construction. Using self-assembly method, CoWO 4 /Zn x Cd 1−x S with p–n heterojunction was synthesized. Although CoWO 4 (CW) cannot produce H 2 under visible light irradiation, it can provide photogenerated electrons (e−) to Zn 0.3 Cd 0.7 S (ZCS), and largely increase the photocatalytic activity of ZCS. The optimal CW/ZCS composite can reach 15.58 mmol·g−1·h−1, which is 45.8 and 24.3 times higher than the values of the pure CdS and ZCS, respectively. The largely enhanced photocatalytic H 2 production is attributed to the Zn vacancies (V Zn), p–n heterojunction, and p-chlorobenzyl alcohol (Cl–PhCH 2 OH) as the H+ source of H 2 production. V Zn on the ZCS surface as the capture center of photogenerated holes (h+), can regulate the carrier distribution, which results in more photogenerated e− and less generated h+. The combination of p–n heterojunction and V Zn can enhance the separation and transfer efficiency of PCCs, and effectively inhibit the recombination of charge carriers. To further improve the utilization rate of PCCs, the photocatalytic H 2 evolution is proceeded by Cl–PhCH 2 OH oxidation in N , N -dimethylformamide solution, with 4-chlorobenzaldehyde (Cl–PhCHO) generated. The separated photogenerated e− and h+ both participated in the redox reaction of H+ reduction and Cl–PhCH 2 OH oxidation, considering that the amount of H 2 and Cl–PhCHO products are close to 1:1. Zinc (Zn) is a crucial trace element essential for human growth and development, particularly for reproductive health. Previous research has shown a decrease in serum zinc concentration with age and individuals with conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and diabetes mellitus. However, the specific effects of zinc deficiency on the female reproductive system, especially ovarian function, are not fully understood. In our study, we observed a significant reduction in the total number of follicles and mature follicles in the zinc deficiency group. This reduction correlated with decreased level of anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) and abnormal gene expression affecting hormone secretion regulation. Furthermore, we found that zinc deficiency disrupted mitochondrial dynamics, leading to oxidative stress in the ovaries, which further inhibited autophagy and increased ovarian apoptosis. These changes ultimately resulted in the failure of germinal vesicle breakdown (GVBD) and reduced oocyte quality. Meanwhile, administration of zinc glycine effectively alleviated the oocyte meiotic arrest caused by dietary zinc deficiency. AbstractAn electrochemiluminescent (ECL) aptasensor for lysozyme (Lyz) based on a graphene quantum dot (GQD)-ruthenium bipyridine (Ru(bpy)32+)-silica (GQDs-Ru(bpy)32+@SiO2) nanocomposite were prepared by encapsulating GQDs and the luminophore Ru(bpy)32+ in silica nanospheres (SiO2). The nanocomposite GQDs-Ru(bpy)32+@SiO2 with uniform size exhibited a strong and reproducible ECL response. The nanoprobe (DNA-GQDs-Ru(bpy)32+@SiO2) was obtained via amidation between GQDs-Ru(bpy)32+@SiO2 and the complementary DNA sequence. The ECL platform was constructed by hybridization between the aptamer and the complementary strand DNA. The specific recognition between aptamer and the target lysozyme maintained the nanoprobe DNA-GQDs-Ru(bpy)32+@SiO2 away from the electrode, which led to the decreasing ECL response. The aptasensor exhibited a linear relationship from 0.1 to 100 pg/mL with a detection limit of 1.7 × 10−11 mg/mL. This study provided a simple and sensitive analytical approach for lysozyme. AbstractPreeclampsia (PE) is a complex pregnancy disorder characterized by hypertension and organ dysfunction, affecting both maternal and fetal health. Oxidative stress has been implicated in the pathogenesis of PE, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to identify a diagnostic signature and molecular subtypes associated with oxidative stress in PE to gain novel insights into its pathogenesis. The ssGSEA algorithm evaluated oxidative stress-related pathway scores using transcriptional data from the GSE75010 dataset. Oxidative stress-related genes (ORGs) were co lected from these pathways, and hub ORGs associated with PE were identified using the LASSO and logistic regression models. A nomogram prediction model was constructed using the identified ORGs. Consensus clustering identified two molecular subgroups related to oxidative stress, labeled as C1 and C2, with unique immune characteristics and inflammatory pathway profiles. Seventy ORGs associated with oxidative stress, ce l death, and inflammation-related pathways were identified in PE. EGFR, RIPK3, and ALAD were confirmed as core ORGs for PE biomarkers. The C1 and C2 subgroups exhibited distinct immune characteristics and inflammatory pathway profiles. This study provides novel insights into the role of oxidative stress in PE pathogenesis. Objective: Accumulating evidence showed that exposure to heavy metals was harmful to human health. Little is known regarding the mixing effects of multiple metal exposures on vertebral compression fracture (VCF) and femoral neck bone mineral density (BMD). This study aimed to explore the individual and joint effects of four heavy metals [manganese (Mn), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) and mercury (Hg)] on VCF risk and femoral neck BMD. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 1,007 eligible individuals with vertebral fractures from National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2013–2014. The outcome was the risk of VCF and femoral neck BMD. Weighted multivariate logistic regression was used to explore the individual effect of four heavy metals on the VCF risk, separately. Weighted multivariate linear regression was used to explore the individual effect of four heavy metals on the femoral neck BMD, separately. Adopted bayesian kernel machine regression (BKMR) model and quantile-based g computation (qgcomp) to examine the joint effects of four heavy metals on the VCF risk and femoral neck BMD. Results: Among the population, 57 individuals developed VCF. After adjusting covariates, we found no statistical differences regarding the individual effects of four heavy metals on the risk of VCF. BKMR model and qgcomp indicated that there were no statistical differences regarding the joint effects between four heavy metals on the VCF risk. In addition, we found that Cd was associated with femoral neck BMD, and an increase in the mixture of heavy metal exposures was associated with a decreased risk of femoral neck BMD. Conclusion: No significant correlation was observed between co-exposure to Mn, Pb, Cd and Hg and VCF risk. But co-exposure to Mn, Pb, Cd and Hg may be associated with femoral neck BMD. Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines represent a landmark in vaccinology, especially with their success in COVID-19 vaccines, which have shown great promise for future vaccine development and disease prevention. As a platform technology, synthetic mRNA can be produced with high fidelity using in vitro transcription (IVT). Magnesium plays a vital role in the IVT process, facilitating the phosphodiester bond formation between adjacent nucleotides and ensuring accurate transcription to produce high-quality mRNA. The development of the IVT process has prompted key inquiries about in-process characterization of magnesium ion (Mg++) consumption, relating to the RNA polymerase (RNAP) activation, fed-batch mode production yield, and mRNA quality. Hence, it becomes crucial to monitor the free Mg++ concentration throughout the IVT process. However, no free Mg++ analysis method has been reported for complex IVT reactions. Here we report a robust capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method with indirect UV detection. The assay allows accurate quantitation of free Mg++ for the complex IVT reaction where it is essential to preserve IVT samples in their native-like state during analysis to avoid dissociation of bound Mg complexes. By applying this CZE method, the relationships between free Mg++ concentration, the mRNA yield, and dsRNA impurity level were investigated. Such mechanistic understanding facilitates informed decisions regarding the quantity and timing of feeding starting materials to increase the yield. Furthermore, this approach can serve as a platform method for analyzing the free Mg++ in complex sample matrices where preserving the native-like state of Mg++ binding is key for accurate quantitation. Heart failure and cardiac remodeling are both characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction. Healthy mitochondria are required for adequate contractile activity and appropriate regulation of cell survival. In the mammalian heart, enhancement of the mitochondrial unfolded protein response (UPRmt) is cardioprotective under pressure overload conditions. We explored the UPRmt and the underlying regulatory mechanism in terms of hypertension‐induced cardiac remodeling and the cardioprotective effect of metformin. Male spontaneously hypertensive rats and angiotensin II‐treated neonatal rat cardiomyocytes were used to induce cardiac hypertrophy. The results showed that hypertension induced the formation of aberrant mitochondria, characterized by a reduced mtDNA/nDNA ratio and swelling, as well as lower levels of mitochondrial complexes I to V and inhibition of the expression of one protein subunit of each of complexes I to IV. Such changes eventually enlarged cardiomyocytes and increased cardiac fibrosis. Metformin treatment increased the mtDNA/nDNA ratio and regulated the UPRmt, as indicated by increased expression of activating transcription factor 5, Lon protease 1, and heat shock protein 60, and decreased expression of C/EBP homologous protein. Thus, metformin improved mitochondrial ultrastructure and function in spontaneously hypertensive rats. In vitro analyses revealed that metformin reduced the high levels of angiotensin II‐induced mitochondrial reactive oxygen species in such animals and stimulated nuclear translocation of heat shock factor 1 (HSF1). Moreover, HSF1 small‐interfering RNA reduced the metformin‐mediated improvements in mitochondrial morphology and the UPRmt by suppressing hypertrophic signals and cardiomyocyte apoptosis. These results suggest that HSF1/UPRmt signaling contributes to the beneficial effects of metformin. Tidal flat plays an important role in coastal development because of its ecological and spatial resources. We take the southern tidal flat in the macro-tidal turbid Hangzhou Bay as an example to study the long-term (1990–2020) evolution of the muddy tidal flat, using remote sensing data and field observational data. The detailed bathymetric elevation of the tidal flat is obtained, using remote sensing images of Landsat and Sentinel-2, combined with the real-time kinematic (RTK) data. The correlation coefficient between the remote sensing data and the RTK data is 0.73. The tidal flat and vegetation areas are affected by reclamation. The total tidal flat area decreased by 467.78 km2. The vegetation area declined from 64.98 km2 in 2000 to 13.41 km2 in 2015 and recovered to 41.62 km2 in 2020. The largest change in tidal flat slope occurs in the eastern and western sides of the tidal flat, compared with the wide middle part. The total length of tidal creeks decreased to 45.95 km in 2005 and then increased to 105.83 km in 2020. The middle- and low-grade tidal creeks accounted for 91.4%, with a curvature slightly larger than 1 in 2020. High-grade tidal creeks occur inside the vegetation areas, with less bending and fewer branch points. Vegetation promotes the development of tidal creeks but limits the lateral swing and bifurcation. Objective To analyze the epidemiological trends of Alzheimer's disease in the elderly population in China from 1990 to 2019, and to provide a scientific basis for the specific formulation of prevention and treatment measures. Methods Based on data obtained from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2019 database, we analyzed quantitative changes in the number of incidences and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) of Alzheimer's disease among people aged 60 to 89 years in China from 1990 to 2019. Trend changes over the period were assessed by calculating the annual percentage change (AAPC) and linkage regression analysis, age-period-cohort models were constructed by Statal7 to analyze trends in DALY incidence and rates along three dimensions: age, period, and cohort. Results The number of DALY and Alzheimer's disease incidence cases in the Chinese elderly population in 2019 was 1 526 516 and 5 034 024 person-years, respectively, with 5 829 523 and 1 956 623 person-years of DALY and Alzheimer's disease incidence in elderly men, and 943 563 and 3 077 401 person-years of DALY and Alzheimer's disease incidence in elderly women, respectively. The Chinese elderly population in 2019 Incidence and DALY rates were 600.49 per 100 000 and 1 980.23 per 100 000, respectively, increasing at an average rate of 1.12% and 0.81% per year, with a more pronounced increase in elderly men than in elderly women. Conclusion China's elderly population faces a heavy burden of disease from Alzheimer's disease, and the government should take immediate action to alleviate the heavy morbidity and financial burden on patients. Callicarpa kwangtungensis Chun (CK) is a common remedy exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and has been used in Chinese herbal formulations, such as KangGongYan tablets. It is the main component of KangGongYan tablets, which has been used to treat chronic cervicitis caused by damp heat, red and white bands, cervical erosion, and bleeding. However, the anti-inflammatory effects of CK water extract remains unknown. This study assessed the anti-inflammatory effects of CK in vivo and in vitro, characterized its main components in the serum of rats and verified the anti-inflammatory effects of serum containing CK. Nitric oxide (NO), tumour necrosis factor α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) release by RAW264.7 cells was examined by ELISA and Griess reagents. Inflammation-related protein expression in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells was measured by western blotting. Furthermore, rat model of foot swelling induced by λ-carrageenan and a collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) rat model were used to explore the anti-inflammatory effects of CK. The components of CK were characterized by LC–MS, and the effects of CK-containing serum on proinflammatory factors levels and the expression of inflammation-related proteins were examined by ELISA, Griess reagents and Western blotting. CK suppressed IL-6, TNF-α, and NO production, and iNOS protein expression in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Mechanistic studies showed that CK inhibited the phosphorylation of ERK, P38 and JNK in the MAPK signaling pathway, promoted the expression of IκBα in the NF-κB signaling pathway, and subsequently inhibited the expression of iNOS, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory effects. Moreover, CK reduced the swelling rates with λ-carrageenan induced foot swelling, and reduced the arthritis score and incidence in the collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) rat model. A total of 68 compounds in CK water extract and 31 components in rat serum after intragastric administration of CK were characterized. Serum pharmacological analysis showed that CK-containing serum suppressed iNOS protein expression and NO, TNF-α, and IL-6 release. The frequencies obtained from the higher-order shear deformation theory are trained to formulate a surrogate model in the multi-output Gaussian Process Regression algorithm framework, and the stochastic analysis is then carried out using the Monte Carlo simulation method. For simply supported and clamped shells, uncertainties in the top and bottom-most layers widely affect the free vibration behavior of the shells compared to the inner-most or central layers, whereas for cantilever shells, opposite trend is observed. Aerial object detection is crucial in various computer vision tasks, including video monitoring, early warning systems, and visual tracking. While current methods can accurately detect normal-sized objects, they face challenges distinguishing small objects from cluttered backgrounds. Developing methods that can be deployed on edge devices to achieve fast, accurate, and energy-efficient performance is also an urgent challenge. This paper proposes a network for aerial object detection by incorporating an attention mechanism to enhance feature extraction and elevate the accuracy of aerial moving object detection. Additionally, we optimize the channel dimensions of the feature extraction framework, resulting in a reduction in model parameters, acceleration of inference speed, and alleviation of the computational burden. Ulteriorly, we optimize the Spatial Pyramid Pooling (SPP) module to enhance detection accuracy and processing speed. Inspired by the ResNet and RepVGG structures, we design a feature fusion module to combine early-extracted features, improving speed and accuracy. Based on the design mentioned above principles, we develop a neural network method with an impressively small model size of only 4.5M. The proposed approach achieves state-of-the-art performance on five benchmark datasets. Besides its superior performance, our method demonstrates excellent throughput on edge computing devices. Experimental results show that even when running on low-performance computing devices, the CPU and GPU temperatures remain below 50∘C and achieve a detection speed of 14.8 frames per second (fps) and power consumption of only 2.9W. 3D‐printed cell‐laden hydrogels as tissue constructs show great promise in generating living tissues for medicine. Currently, the maturation of 3D‐printed constructs into living tissues remains challenge, since commonly used hydrogels struggle to provide an ideal microenvironment for the seeded cells. In this study, a cell‐adaptable nanocolloidal hydrogel is created for 3D printing of maturable tissue constructs. The nanocolloidal hydrogel is composed of interconnected nanoparticles, which is prepared by the self‐assembly and subsequent photocrosslinking of the gelatin methacryloyl solutions. Cells can get enough space to grow and migrate within the hydrogel through squeezing the flexible nanocolloidal networks. Meanwhile, the nanostructure can promote the seeded cells to proliferate and produce matrix proteins through mechanotransduction. Using digital light process‐based 3D printing technology, it can rapidly customize cartilage tissue constructs. After implantation, these tissue constructs efficiently matured into cartilage tissues for the articular cartilage defect repair and ear cartilage reconstruction in vivo. The accurate determination of the free nicotine content in cigarette smoke is crucial for assessing cigarette quality, studying harm and addiction, and reducing tar levels. Currently, the determination of free nicotine in tobacco products primarily relies on methods such as pH calculation, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME), and traditional solvent extraction. However, these methods have limitations that restrict their widespread application. In this study, the free nicotine in cigarette smoke was directly extracted by using cyclohexane according to the traditional solvent extraction method and detected via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Compared with the traditional two-phase solvent extraction, our experimental method is easy to execute and eliminates the influence of aqueous solutions on the original distribution of nicotine in cigarette smoke particulate matter. Furthermore, the presence of protonated nicotine in tobacco does not affect the determination. Compared with HS-SPME and NMR spectroscopy, our approach, which involves solvent extraction followed by chromatographic separation and instrumental detection, offers simplicity, improved precision, better detection limits, and reduced interference during the instrumental detection stage. The standard addition recoveries in the conducted experiment ranged from 96.2% to 102.5%. The limit of detection was 2.8 μg/cig, and the correlation coefficient R 2 for the quadratic regression of the standard curve exceeded 0.999. The relative standard deviation for parallel samples was between 1.7% and 3.4% (n = 5), fully meeting the requirements for the determination of free nicotine in cigarette smoke. Analysis of cigarette samples from 38 commercially available brands revealed that the content of free nicotine ranged from 0.376 to 0.716 mg/cig, with an average of 0.540 mg/cig, and free nicotine accounted for 39.1%–88.8% of the total nicotine content. A novel programmed hybrid spreading spectrum modulation method to mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission and bearing current in the context of miniaturised and lightweight synchronous machine drives is proposed. The proposed method adopts the combination of conventional pulsewidth modulation (PWM) and low common mode voltage PWM. The offline look‐up table for switching frequency is acquired by analysing the root mean square voltage values at different modulation indices and angles. By adjusting the switching frequency according to this table, the spectrum can be spread into the sidebands of the switching frequency, and the harmonic spike can be suppressed. To address the challenge of increased current ripple and harmonic distortion in high torque density motors under overload conditions, a motor model that considers the cross‐saturation and slotting effect is presented. This motor model is used to derive the switching frequency correction factors, aiming to mitigate the influence of saturation and slotting effect on harmonic amplification. The proposed method is well‐suited for controlling synchronous motors using three‐phase two‐level voltage source inverters. The simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, showcasing its advantages in terms of computational complexity reduction and significant attenuation of peak EMI currents. Simple Summary: Traditional cancer treatments have long struggled with issues such as toxicity, drug resistance, and financial burdens. However, there is growing interest in using natural compounds, like those found in complementary alternative medicine, due to their ability to influence various molecular pathways with fewer side effects. In our study, we focused on understanding how active components of Cordia myxa could potentially treat liver cancer (LC). By employing network pharmacology techniques, we identified key molecular targets and pathways involved. Through a combination of data analysis and computational modeling, we found that certain genes, including HSP90AA1, ESR1, CYP3A4, CDK1, and MMP9, play crucial roles in LC patient survival. Specifically, our findings suggest that compounds like cosmosiin, rosmarinic acid, quercetin, and rubinin may interact with HSP90AA1, offering a promising avenue for therapeutic intervention. Molecular dynamics simulations further validated these interactions, highlighting the stability of the drug–protein complexes. Overall, our integrated approach underscores the potential of C. myxa in combating LC by modulating cancer-related signaling pathways. Traditional treatments of cancer have faced various challenges, including toxicity, medication resistance, and financial burdens. On the other hand, bioactive phytochemicals employed in complementary alternative medicine have recently gained interest due to their ability to control a wide range of molecular pathways while being less harmful. As a result, we used a network pharmacology approach to study the possible regulatory mechanisms of active constituents of Cordia myxa for the treatment of liver cancer (LC). Active constituents were retrieved from the IMPPAT database and the literature review, and their targets were retrieved from the STITCH and Swiss Target Prediction databases. LC-related targets were retrieved from expression datasets (GSE39791, GSE76427, GSE22058, GSE87630, and GSE112790) through gene expression omnibus (GEO). The DAVID Gene Ontology (GO) database was used to annotate target proteins, while the Kyoto Encyclopedia and Genome Database (KEGG) was used to analyze signaling pathway enrichment. STRING and Cytoscape were used to create protein–protein interaction networks (PPI), while the degree scoring algorithm of CytoHubba was used to identify hub genes. The GEPIA2 server was used for survival analysis, and PyRx was used for molecular docking analysis. Survival and network analysis revealed that five genes named heat shot protein 90 AA1 (HSP90AA1), estrogen receptor 1 (ESR1), cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4), cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (CDK1), and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9) are linked with the survival of LC patients. Finally, we conclude that four extremely active ingredients, namely cosmosiin, rosmarinic acid, quercetin, and rubinin influence the expression of HSP90AA1, which may serve as a potential therapeutic target for LC. These results were further validated by molecular dynamics simulation analysis, which predicted the complexes with highly stable dynamics. The residues of the targeted protein showed a highly stable nature except for the N-terminal domain without affecting the drug binding. Build systems are used to transform static source code into executable software. They play a crucial role in modern software development and maintenance. As such, much research effort has been invested in understanding the quality and evolution of build systems, including Apache ANT, Apache Maven, and Make‐based ones. However, the quality and evolution of build systems for mobile apps, such as on the Android platform, have not as yet been investigated in detail. Mobile app development, and the Android development context in particular, impose unique constrains, such as different device conditions and capabilities. It presents unique challenges, such as frequently upgraded Android frameworks, which those who implement and maintain build systems must tackle. In this paper, we present an exploratory empirical study of the build systems of 5222 Android projects to better understand their quality and evolution. We (a) study the build technology choices that Android developers make (Gradle being recommended and the most popular choice), (b) explore the sustainability of the official Gradle build system (parts of build files are updated more frequent that others and the update of the special Gradle plugin would induce unrecommended configurations), and (c) analyze the quality of Gradle scripts for Android apps—more than a half of the open‐source Android apps cannot be successfully built due to five common root causes. Background: Executive function deficits (EFD) in late‐life depression (LLD) has been reported to be associated with antidepressant treatment resistance, increased disability, and poor quality of life. However, the underlying neutral mechanisms of EFD in patients with the first episode of LLD remains unclear. Methods: A total of 27 patients with first‐episode, drug‐naive LLD and 27 non‐depressed controls (NC) were recruited for the present research. Participants underwent the Trail Making Test, the 17‐item Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD‐17) test, and task‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging scans under the neutral Stroop task. LLD patients' executive functions, depressive symptoms, and brain activity were examined again after 6 months of antidepressant treatment. Results: Of the 27 LLD patients, 16 cases completed 6‐month follow‐ups. Patients in the LLD baseline group spent more time on the Trail Making Test A test than those in the NC group (p < 0.05). In the presence of an incongruency between the word color and meaning, the accuracy rate of the neutral Stroop task in the LLD baseline group was lower, and the reaction time was greater than that in the NC group, with statistically significant difference (p < 0.05). The HAMD‐17 score in the LLD follow‐up group was significantly lower than that in the LLD baseline group (p < 0.05). More activated brain regions were present in the LLD baseline group than in the NC group when performing the neutral Stroop task. Compared with the LLD baseline group, abnormal activation of relevant brains in the cingulate‐prefrontal‐parietal network of LLD patients still existed in the LLD follow‐up group. Conclusions: LLD patients engaged more brain areas than the NC group while performing the neutral Stroop task. Abnormal activation of the cingulate‐prefrontal‐parietal network could be a contributing factor to EFD in LLD. Trial registration: ChiCTR, ChiCTR2100042370 (Date of registration: 21/01/2021). We constructed an Extreme Weather Index to measure extreme weather risks in China. Analyzing macroeconomic data through a structural vector auto-regression model suggests that a negative weather shock leads to persistently low GDP and credit obtained by non-financial firms. In our regression analysis of a panel of firms listed in China, the negative effects of weather shocks on firm level loans were statistically and practically significant. Further analysis suggests that credit risk and expectations are two important impact channels. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of PD‐1/PD‐L1 inhibitors in treatment of elderly patients with advanced non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Patients with advanced NSCLC ≥70 years old who received PD‐1/PD‐L1 inhibitors in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. According to age, the patient were stratified as follows: 70–75 years old, 76–80 years old, and >80 years old. Kaplan–Meier method was used for survival analysis, and univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to analyze the correlation between different clinical characteristics and survival. Results: A total of 58 elderly patients with advanced non‐small cell cancer were enrolled in this study. Patients aged 70–75, 76–80, and >80 years old were 32, 19, and 7, respectively. For the all, median OS was 17.0 months, and PFS was 7.0 months. PFS and OS did not differ according to age (P = 0.396, 0.054, respectively). Univariate analysis showed that PS of 0–1, stage III, first‐line therapy and irAEs were associated with longer PFS, and PS of 0–1, stage III, and first‐line therapy were associated with longer OS. Multivariate analysis showed that patients with stage III had longer PFS. PFS and OS of patients with PS ≥ 2 were significantly shorter than those of patients with PS of 0–1. Conclusions: In the present real‐world retrospective cohort, PD‐1/PD‐L1 inhibitors are effective and well tolerated in elderly patients with advanced NSCLC. In the realm of cognitive screening, the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) are widely utilized for detecting cognitive deficits in patients with late-life depression (LLD), However, the interindividual variability in neuroimaging biomarkers contributing to individual-specific symptom severity remains poorly understood. In this study, we used a connectome-based predictive model (CPM) approach on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data from patients with LLD to establish individualized prediction models for the MoCA and the MMSE scores. We recruited 135 individuals diagnosed with first-episode LLD for this research. Participants underwent the MMSE and MoCA tests, along with resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging scans. Functional connectivity matrices derived from these scans were utilized in CPM models to predict MMSE or MoCA scores. Predictive precision was assessed by correlating predicted and observed scores, with the significance of prediction performance evaluated through a permutation test. The negative model of the CPM procedure demonstrated a significant capacity to predict MoCA scores (r = −0.309, p = 0.002). Similarly, the CPM procedure could predict MMSE scores (r = −0.236, p = 0.016). The predictive models for cognitive test scores in LLD primarily involved the visual network, somatomotor network, dorsal attention network, and ventral attention network. Monitoring the long-term changes in antibody and cellular immunity following Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection is crucial for understanding immune mechanisms that prevent reinfection. In March 2023, we recruited 167 participants from the Changning District, Shanghai, China. A subset of 66 participants that were infected between November 2022 and January 2023 was selected for longitudinal follow-up. The study aimed to investigate the dynamics of the immune response, including neutralizing antibodies (NAbs), anti-spike (S)-immunoglobulin G (IgG), anti-S-IgM, and lymphocyte profiles, by analyzing peripheral blood samples collected three to seven months post infection. A gradual decrease in NAbs and IgG levels were observed from three to seven months post infection. No significant differences in NAbs and IgG titers were found across various demographics, including age, sex, occupation, and symptomatic presentation, across five follow-up assessments. Additionally, a strong correlation between NAbs and IgG levels was identified. Lymphocyte profiles showed a slight change at five months but had returned to baseline levels by seven months post infection. Notably, healthcare workers exhibited lower B-cell levels compared to police officers. Our study demonstrated that the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection persisted for at least seven months. The unreasonable use of fertilizers is a significant cause of cultivated soil cadmium (Cd) accumulation. Although there is research about the effect of fertilizers on soil cadmium (Cd) accumulation under different crops, soils, and cultivation durations locally and specifically, its relative and determinant factors are seldom comprehensively and comparatively researched and evaluated. We used meta-analysis to analyze the effects of fertilizers (mineral fertilizer N, P, K (NPK) with manure (NPKM), NPK with straw (NPKS), and the mineral fertilizer N (N), NK (NK)), crops, duration, climate, and soil texture on the Chinese soil total and available Cd change during 1987–2022. The results showed that the order of the increased soil total and available Cd change was NPKM (total: 62%–104%, available: 61%–143%) > NPKS (50%–86%, 48%–116%) > NPK (25%–50%, 35%–75%) > NK (5%–19%, 19%–33%) > N (2%–6%, 7%–31%). NPKM and NPKS significantly increased the total Cd under maize (104%, 86%) and available Cd under rice (136%, 116%). Cd changed the fastest with the NPKM cultivation duration for total Cd under maize (slope: 5.9) and available Cd under rice (6.6). The change of the soil total and available Cd had the higher value in the semiarid region, clay soils, lower pH, and long cultivations. The change of the soil total and available Cd were highest (398%, 375%) in the semiarid region for clay loam after 20–25 years of NPKM fertilization, when the pH decreased to the lowest (−1.9). According to the aggregated boosted tree analysis, the fertilizers and duration were the best explanatory variable (>53%) for the soil total and available Cd. In conclusion, the soil Cd could be mitigated through reducing the long–term manure, straw, and P fertilizer content with Cd, and field managements such as liming, wetting, and drying according to the crops, climate, and soil texture.
