ObjectiveTo analyze the monitoring results and trends of Oncomelania in Songjiang District of Shanghai from 2007 to 2023， and to provide reference for future monitoring work.MethodsThe data of snail monitoring in Songjiang District from 2007 to 2023 were collected， including the location of snail spots， the number of survey frames， the area with snails， the number of frames with snails， the total number of snails， etc. The density of living snails and the occurrence rate of living snail frames were calculated.ResultsFrom 2007 to 2023， a total of 158 snail spots were found in 22 administrative villages in 4 towns in Songjiang District， including 131 emerging snail habitats （82.91%） and 27 reemerging snail habitats （17.09%）. The total snail area was 175 980 m2， the number of snail frames was 10 061， and 33 302 snails were captured. The highest density was 260/0.11 m2， and 15 662 snails were dissected. No positive snails were found. The average density of living snails was 0.60/0.11 m2 and the average occurrence rate of living snail frames was 17.99%. The snail areas in different areas were Yexie Town 126 000 m2 （71.60%）， Maogang Town 26 470 m2 （15.04%）， Xinbang Town 17 040 m2 （9.68%）， and Shihudang Town 6 470 m2 （3.68%）. The average density of living snails in different areas was 0.89/0.11 m2 in Yexie Town， 0.65/0.11 m2 in Maogang Town， 0.26/0.11 m2 in Shihudang Town and 0.24/0.11 m2 in Xinbang Town. The snail areas of different snail habitats were as follows： woodland 151 250 m2（85.95%）， river 13 810 m2（7.85%）， ditch 6 910 m2（3.93%）， farmland 4 010 m2（2.28%）. The average density of living snails in different snail habitats： ditch 1.01/0.11 m2， beach 0.86/0.11 m2， woodland 0.57/0.11 m2， river 0.40/0.11 m2. The occurrence rate of living snail frames in different regions and different snail environment types showed a downward trend and the difference was statistically significant.ConclusionAlthough the snail monitoring indicators such as snail area， average living snail density and average living snail frame occurrence rate in Songjiang District are still at its historically low level， the average living snail density and average living snail frame occurrence rate are still high compared with other regions or the national average. We should focus on the upper reaches and tributaries of the Huangpu River， especially the key areas of seedling transplantation， and strengthen monitoring and supervision to reduce the risk of snail input.

ObjectiveTo characterize the prevalence and epidemic situation of imported malaria cases in Songjiang District of Shanghai from 2013 to 2022， and to provide evidence for malaria prevention and control.MethodsRelated data were collected and analyzed， including malaria cases， blood testing of febrile patients， and mosquito surveillance in Songjiang from 2013 to 2022.ResultsA total of 13 002 febrile patients in Songjiang were tested for plasmodium parasites from 2013 to 2022， among which 18 malaria cases were confirmed， including 17 cases of falciparum malaria and 1 case of ovale malaria. Moreover， a total of 36 malaria cases were notified in Songjiang through the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System from 2013 to 2022， including cases reported from Songjiang District and other districts or provinces with physical addresses in Songjiang. Of them， there were 31 cases of falciparum malaria， 2 cases of vivax malaria， 2 cases of ovale malaria and 1 case of quartan malaria. The gender ratio of male to female cases was 17∶1， and the majority was young and middle aged. In addition， 35 cases were imported from Africa and 1 case from southeast Asia； 34 cases were migrant workers， and 2 cases were travellers abroad； 17 cases were found and reported in Songjiang， 15 cases were reported from other districts of Shanghai， and 4 cases were reported from other provinces； 27 cases were treated in Shanghai， 3 cases were treated in other provinces and 6 cases were treated with self-provided antimalarial drugs. Mosquito surveillance in Songjiang showed that density of Anopheles sinensis was extremely low.ConclusionNo indigenous malaria case has been notified in Songjiang since 2008. Malaria surveillance on migrant workers remains the focus of malaria prevention and control. Furthermore， achievement of malaria elimination in Songjiang should be continually enhanced to avoid potential further transmission of imported malaria.

Combined with the creation process of AI painting art, it analyzes the artistic design characteristics of AI paintings formed by generative adversarial networks. It utilizes a convolutional neural network to extract the artistic characteristics of AI paintings and combines the error of feature loss to calculate the features, which ensures the stable operation of the generative adversarial network model. To achieve the style migration of AI painting artworks, the Cycle GAN model was designed on this basis. Comparing the features of both AI paintings of generative adversarial networks and paintings of human artists, the perceptual complexity is taken as the dependent variable, and a regression model is established to analyze and calculate the complexity features of AI paintings, as well as to analyze the color matching art of AI paintings by combining the beauty calculation method. According to the comparison results, the AI paintings have a score of 3.71 for inspirational, 3.69 for aesthetic value, 3.52 for compositional rationality, and 3.38 for breakthrough. The AI paintings have a high level of thought and inspirational value.

BackgroundDepression prevalence and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in middle-aged and older people has become an increasingly concerned issue, yet it in Chinese population has been less reported, and needs to be further explored.ObjectiveTo investigate the epidemiology of ACEs among middle-aged and elderly Chinese people, and to analyze its association with depression prevalence, providing an accurate delineation of ACEs and depression prevalence in this group of Chinese people.MethodsInformation of 7 035 middle-aged and elderly people≥ 45 years old who met the research requirements were selected during July to August, 2021 from the database of China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study held by Institute of Social Science Survey, Peking University, in which the questions in the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale used in the CHARLS, ACEs (including abuse, neglect, dysfunctional family) and individual characteristics were screened and generated into new dummy variables with the weight reassigned. Covariates of those with ACEs (treatment group) and those without (control group) were included in a propensity score matching model, and propensity scores of them were estimated using robust standard errors in multivariate Logistic regression, then the covariates of two groups were matched using the 1∶1 nearest neighbor matching, and were checked using balance diagnostics and common support assumption. The influence of ACEs on the depression in those with ACEs was quantified by the average treatment effect on the treated.ResultsOf the 7 035 respondents, 6 529 (92.81%) had experienced ACEs, 1 802 (25.61%) had experienced at least four ACEs, and 1 003 (14.26%) had a depressive state. Multivariate Logistic regression model demonstrated that age, gender, and self-rated health status were significantly associated with ACEs (P0.05) , and went through the check of balance diagnostics and common support assumption. ObjectiveBased on mosq-ovitrap monitoring method of Aedes albopictus， to determine the spatial and temporal distribution of Aedes albopictus in Songjiang District and provide scientific evidence for prevention and control of mosquito-borne diseases.MethodsFrom May to October， 2018‒2020， density of Aedes albopictus was monitored by using the mosq-ovitrap method. Sub-districts and towns were used as the monitoring units and the difference in mosquito ovitrap index （MOI） was compared by seasons， years and habitats.ResultsThe total number of positive mosquito ovitraps was 1049 in 2018‒2020， and the average MOI was 8.10. Four sub-districts/towns in the urban area and the northern area had the relatively high MOIs. Moreover， MOIs in residential and external environments were higher than other habitats. In addition， MOI of Aedes albopictus decreased over years from 2018 to 2020.ConclusionAedes albopictus is widely distributed in Songjiang District. Although the number of mosquito decreased over years after the implementation of mosquito control measures， reproduction of mosquito remains excessive in some areas and seasons. It is necessary to perform targeted control measures based on comprehensive monitoring methods.

The sequestration of soil inorganic carbon ( SIC) especially pedogenic carbonate ( PC) is one of the important pathways reducing the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide and thus mitigating climate change in coastal areas. Using the technology of l3C stable isotope, we analyzed the differences in the composition and storage of SIC, and explored the key physicochemical properties influencing soil PC storage in different horizons (0-10, 11-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80 and 81-100 cm) from Suaeda salsa wetland (SS), Spartina alterniflora wetland ( SA), young poplar plantation ( YP), and mature poplar plantation ( MP) in coastal area of the northern Jiangsu Province. The results showed that except for the surface (0-10 cm) soil in MP, the SIC content was higher than SOC in all soil horizons. Overall, neither the soil PC to SIC ratio nor the SIC storage were significantly different in SA and SS soils. Compared to wetland soils (0-40 cm), the soil PC to SIC ratio was reduced by 32.7% and 54.1% and the PC storage was reduced by 40.5% and 59.2%, the lithogenic carbonate ( LC) storage changed little, while the SIC storage was reduced by 21.0% and 17.9%, respectively in the YP and MP soils. Compared to the YP soils (0-100 cm), both the soil PC to SIC ratio and the PC storage were significantly reduced while the LC storage was significantly increased, especially at the 41-100 cm soil horizons, meanwhile, the SIC storage was not significantly changed in the MP soils. Results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) indicated that key factors influencing soil PC storage were the ratio of PC to SIC, followed by the SOC content and bulk density. SOC could inhibit the formation of soil PC. Generally, the coastal wetlands have greater SIC storage and sequestration potential than poplar plantations, and the PC sequestration can be regulated by modulating the ratio of PC to SIC and SOC content.
