Abstract

Although numerous models of aerial‐robots/drones and planet landers have been demonstrated to fly autonomously in natural and manmade environments for far‐reaching scientific and technological change to help humankind, no drone flowed yet with a push‐pull dual‐head electromagnetic propulsion (EMP) system ensuring unrestricted flight endurance. The precept of EMP is eminent as it hastens an object using a flowing electrical current, either to charge a field or opposing a magnetic field for locomotive use. Here we present a proof of concept to demonstrate the capability of a newly invented variable speed propulsion and energy conversion system for uninterruptedly generating the reciprocating motion of a magnetic piston by a solar battery‐driven polarity changer timing circuit together with a laser‐based timing circuit for redundancy. The reciprocating crusade of the magnetic piston could be successfully converted into rotary motion to generate continuous power for various multidisciplinary applications on Earth and the other planets effectively in lieu of long‐lasting rechargeable batteries. The proposed concept can also be used for devising various systems and subsystems from underwater to outer space by using light weight supermalloy, which ensures high magnetic fluxes with relatively low current. Lucrative applications include nanomaterial‐enabled locomotive applications. Aerial robots regulated with the EMP system could be used for fostering pharmaceutical florae in the international space station for drug design to negate the recently discovered phenomenon of Sanal flow choking in cardiovascular system at gravity and/or microgravity conditions. This concept is originated from mind and aimed for lucrative product developments of yocto to yotta scale energy systems and beyond by discovering new magnetic materials through the fourth industrial revolution. Herein, a proof of the concept of an unrestricted solar‐battery driven push‐pull electromagnetic propulsion and energy conversion device by use of light weight high power magnetic materials is presented. Abstract

Hundreds of studies have assessed variation in the degree to which people experience disgust toward substances associated with pathogens, but little is known about the mechanistic sources of this variation. The current investigation uses olfactory perception and threshold methods to test whether it is apparent at the cue-detection level, at the cue-interpretation level, or both. It further tests whether relations between disgust sensitivity and olfactory perception are specific to odors associated with pathogens. Two studies (N's = 119 and 160) of individuals sampled from a Dutch university each revealed that pathogen disgust sensitivity relates to valence perceptions of odors found in pathogen sources, but not to valence perceptions of odors not associated with pathogens, nor to intensity perceptions of odors of either type. Study 2, which also assessed olfactory thresholds via a three-alternative forced-choice staircase method, did not reveal a relation between pathogen disgust sensitivity and the ability to detect an odor associated with pathogens, nor an odor not associated with pathogens. In total, results are consistent with the idea that pathogen disgust sensitivity relates to how olfactory pathogen cues are interpreted after detection, but not necessarily to the ability to detect such cues.

Abstract

Idiopathic CD4 T-lymphocytopenia (ICL) is a syndrome characterized by depletion of CD4 T-cells without evidence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. There are a few reported cases of ICL associated with different diseases and clinical conditions, most commonly the opportunistic infections like Tuberculosis, fungal and parasitic diseases which are also seen in HIV-positive patients. We report a case without risk factors or laboratory evidence of HIV infection who presented with refractory cryptococcal meningitis and was found to have ICL.

Abstract

Plagiarism is any identical or lightly-altered use of one’s own or someone else’s work. Text plagiarism detection systems are widely available. Even though image plagiarism detection systems exists, flowchart based plagiarism detection systems are rarely implemented. In the proposed flow chart plagiarism detection system, flowcharts are compared by comparing both the shape, orientation as well as text. This approach creates graph from the flowchart, hence is capable to detect the plagiarism with same shaped objects even though the orientation of the graph is changed. Accuracy of the method is tested with flowcharts of different shape and orientation.

Abstract

Water is the most valuable resource in the world essential for human existence and well-being .In modern environment, the rate of pollution has increased. Many fresh water sources become useless. Due to the use of polluted water many health issues are occurring in the society. For measuring the water quality laboratory facilities are commonly used. It takes a lot of time for obtaining the result and it will be costly. When we find that the water is contaminated we need cleaning and filtering procedures. These works are costly and sometimes requires chemical and water wastage during the cleaning process. We are trying to implement an automated water quality monitoring system along with an automated purification system which would ease the job of finding the pollution source and filtering it. Thus we can monitor the water quality and filter the water automatically when it gets contaminated by the use of a low cost system..
