Aerobic granular sludge (AGS) application for wastewater treatment has been proven to have high sludge-water separation efficiency, great treatment capacity, and strong tolerance to toxic and harmful substances. Nevertheless, the AGS storage and recovery issue has only been studied in a few research. This paper studied the optimized condition for reactivation of the AGS after 3 years storage in distilled water at 4°C. The initial results revealed that under the synthetic wastewater conditions of 450 ± 0.5 Eg COD/L, 65 ± 0.2 Eg NH4+-N/L, 15 ± 0.1 Eg PO43 EP/L, and the DO concentration was controlled at 20% of the saturation oxygen, it took about 30 days to gain the same volume of AGS as before storage, but not the granular size. The aeration time was susceptible to the growth of bacterial aggregates. The optimum aeration time of 172 minutes was chosen to achieve up to 11.58 E/L MLSS and 46.73 EL/g SVI30. With that reactivated AGS, substantially high organic and nutrient removal efficiencies were obtained with 97.8%, 100%, and 86.7% for COD, NH4+-N, and PO43--P, respectively. The future study will apply real domestic wastewater with different organic and nutrient loadings to test its stability and reproducibility in these specific culture conditions.

Aiming at the corrosion and abrasion of the inner wall of the steam pipes caused by the piston wear under the high temperature of 150 ℃, based on the solvent-free epoxy resin system, a temperature-resistant and wear-resistant epoxy coating applicable to the inner wall of steam pipes with good comprehensive performance was developed through the selection of filler, additives, and the design of formula. The coating adopted a resin system modified by blending E-031 alicyclic epoxy resin and J-129 phenolic epoxy resin, and selected PTFE as the lubricating filler. Moreover, the effect of its different particle size and dosage on the wear resistance of the coating was researched, and it could be found that the wear resistance of the coating was better when the amount of PTFE powder with a particle size of 2 μm was 7%(mass fraction, the same below). Meanwhile, through the screening of silane coupling agent and the research of performance, the optimal dosage of KH-560 was determined as 1.5%, and finally a solvent-free, temperature-resistant and wear-resistant epoxy coating with good comprehensive performance meeting the use requirements was prepared.

This work aimed to prepare a water - based, oil - resistant, and anti - corrosive coating with good comprehensive performance. The orthogonal test method was used to optimize various additives of the water - based oil - resistant anti - corrosive coating and adjust the pretreatment process. The oil resistance of the optimized coating was tested, and the basic performance of the oil - resistant coating was evaluated. In addition, the DSC differential scanning calorimeter was used to analyze the curing process of the coating, and the electrochemical method was used to analyze the corrosion resistance of the coating. Results showed that when the amount of dispersant was 0.3%, the amount of thickener was 0.7%, the amount of corrosion inhibitor was 0.2%, and the amount of film - forming aid was 1.5%, the as - obtained oil - resistant coating prepared by the silane pretreatment technology possessed the optimal oil - resistance and the best comprehensive properties.

Ecological intensification of agriculture is crucial for sustainable food production, yet the complex soil-microbial interactions in integrated farming systems remain poorly understood. This five-year study compared a Rice-Loach-Shrimp (RLS) integrated system with conventional Rice Monoculture (RM) using advanced multivariate techniques, including correlation analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Random Forest modeling, and Structural Equation Modeling. The RLS system exhibited higher values for key soil health indicators compared to RM, although the overall correlation patterns were similar. Stronger correlations among soil organic matter, enzyme activities, and microbial populations were observed in RLS, suggesting a more tightly coupled soil ecosystem. Available phosphorus and soil organic matter were identified as primary drivers of microbial community structure. The RLS system showed a slightly higher mean pH and weaker correlations between pH and other indicators compared to RM, indicating potential altered biogeochemical processes. Complex cascading effects among soil properties, enzyme activities, and microbial populations were revealed in RLS. These soil health benefits persisted throughout the study period, demonstrating the potential of RLS as an effective ecological intensification strategy for sustainable rice production. This study is conducted to provide a systematic review of the existing publications regarding the usage of user-generated video (UGV) for travel planning to present insights, highlight the state-of-art context and suggest potential future research trends in the field. A systematic review process is carried out, including synthesis, classification, and analysis to explore the development, characteristics, theoretical and conceptual models, as well as measurements associated with the use of UGV for travel planning. A total of 52 articles published between 2009 and 2022 are collected and categorised into five categories, including the role of platforms that contain user-generated content (UGC), the characteristic related to UGV/the source characteristic, the characteristic of users (travellers), users (travellers) response, research framework development. Thematic analysis of research categories/themes provides theoretical discourse and insights to address backlog research problems in this field. This study can be viewed as the first systematic review regarding the use of UGV for travel planning. In addition, the methods are used to describe how the research topic is formulated. Furthermore, the usefulness of the qualitative methodology allows the authors to thoroughly analyse the theoretical context of research using UGV for travel planning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We design and integrate four optical phased arrays (OPAs) in a single chip. Each OPA possesses different output grating period. Furthermore, we use optical switches to select one or more OPAs for beam scanning. We demonstrate the longitudinal scanning by tuning the laser wavelength. The experimental results show that the scanning range of the four-lines chip reaches 28.54° when the wavelength ranges from 1520 nm to 1570 nm, and the eight-lines one reaches 19.04° with wavelength range of 1520 nm-1540 nm. We greatly improve the wavelength tuning efficiency for longitudinal scanning.

This paper aims to apply Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) to investigate social entrepreneurial intention factors. In particular, the impacts of social entrepreneurship education and prior experience with social organizations on social entrepreneurial intention through the mediating roles of social entrepreneurial self-efficacy and social entrepreneurial outcome expectations are scrutinized. Based on a dataset of 503 individuals who have completed social-entrepreneurship orientation courses, the analysis results reveal that the other direct hypotheses are supported except for the insignificant direct effect of social entrepreneurship education on social entrepreneurial outcome expectations. Thus, the applicability of SCCT in the context of social entrepreneurship is confirmed. In addition, the sequential mediating roles of social entrepreneurial self-efficacy and social entrepreneurial outcome expectations are also supported by this study. These two mediators fully and complementarity play a factor in the respective effects of social entrepreneurship education and prior experience on social entrepreneurial intention. Policymakers and educators can rely on the findings of this study to design curricula that aim to enhance the social education and experience of learners to stimulate social entrepreneurial intention. Here the authors show that lymphoma-associated Blimp-1 mutants are selectively recognized by HSP70-Hrd1, which leads to their accelerated degradation and propose HSP70 inhibition as a therapeutic approach for certain lymphomas.
