From the example of Russian officer Boris Semenovich Sinani’s fate, the authors have attempted to reconstruct the events of the first days of the February Revolution, including certain aspects of the work of the “military headquarters of the revolution” - the Military Commission, as well as the reasons for the creation and nature of the functioning of the Union of Republican Officers of the People's Army. Through their research, the authors have revealed the complexity of the relationship between the Provisional Committee of the State Duma and the Soviets of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies, as well as the attitude of the Russian officers to the revolutionary changes in the country. The authors note that the name Sinani was taken as a pseudonym by Georgy Borisovich Skalov, another participant in the revolution and the Civil War, and this choice played a tragic role in the fate of the latter. The study is based on the analysis of the documents of the Union of Socialists of the People's Army stored in the State Archive of the Russian Federation, memoirs, and their comparison with published scientific works. The authors have also attempted to reconstruct the main lines of interaction and contradictions between officer groups during the Great October Socialist Revolution.

The study was performed to investigate the biosorption mechanism of Diclofenac Sodium and Ketotifen Fumarate onto CCL biosorbent using isotherms models (Langmuir, Freundlich). Effects of parameters influencing the biosorption such as temperature, pH, biosorbent dose, contact time and biosorbate initial concentration were all investigated and optimised using a batch system. The comparison between various models indicates that the nonlinear form of Langmuir model was the best way to describe the equilibrium data that were approved using error functions: the coefficient of determination (R2), Average relative error (ARE), the sum of the squares of the errors (SSE), Marquardt's percent standard deviation (MPSD), Hybrid fractional error function (HYBRID), Sum of the absolute errors (SAE) and 'sum of the normalised errors (SNE)' parameter. The kinetics experimental data was best predicted by the pseudo-second-order model. The adsorption mechanism identified external mass transfer as the principal measure of velocity control step. Thermodynamically, the process is spontaneous, exothermic and the adsorption was more favourable at lower temperatures. It was found that the regeneration is required as it changes the surface morphology of the biosorbent. Therefore, CCL biosorbent is considered as cost-effective and eco-efficient for removing Diclofenac and Ketotifen adsorbate from aqueous media by adsorption technique especially with its low cost preparation and regeneration. Oncofertility is an extremely significant topic that is increasingly being discussed owing to increased evidence indicating that fertility preservation does not affect the treatment outcomes of patients with cancer but significantly contributes to preserving life quality. The effect of chemotherapy can range from minimal effects to complete ovarian atrophy. Limited data are available on the effects of monoclonal antibodies and targeted therapies on the ovaries and fertility. Temporary ovarian suppression by administering a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) during chemotherapy decreases the gonadotoxic effect of chemotherapy, thereby diminishing the chance of developing premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). At present, the concomitant administration of GnRH analogs during chemotherapy is the only accepted pharmacological method for preserving ovarian function. Notably, most randomized studies on the effectiveness of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonists during chemotherapy in preventing POI have been conducted in women with breast cancer, with a considerably small number of studies on patients with hematological malignancies. Furthermore, most randomized controlled trials on breast cancer have revealed a decrease in treatment-induced POI risk, regardless of the hormone receptor status. In addition, studies on hematological malignancies have yielded negative results; nevertheless, the findings must be interpreted with caution owing to numerous limitations. Current guidelines from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend sperm, oocyte, and embryo cryopreservation as a standard practice and only offering GnRHa to patients when proven fertility preservation methods are not feasible. In this manuscript, we present a comprehensive literature overview on the application of ovarian suppression with GnRHa during chemotherapy in patients with cancer by addressing preclinical and clinical data, as well as future perspectives in this field that upcoming research should focus on. Introduction. The article examines the Comintern “trace” in the formation of modern “Bolivarian socialism”, proclaimed by the leaders of Venezuela at the beginning of the 21st century. Communist postulates (in the Comintern perception) were, certainly, not the only source of the formation of the ideology of the ruling Socialist United Party of Venezuela. At the same time, a number of the postulates were formulated back in the 1920s by activists of the Venezuelan Revolutionary Party (later they became members of the country’s Communist Party) and the Socialist Party of Ecuador. A number of similar concepts were the subject of discussions between the leadership of the Comintern and the Peruvian People’s Revolutionary Alliance and were also debated during one of the congress of the Communist International. Another important aspect explored by the authors is the analogy between the processes of the formation of a united left party in Venezuela in the 1930s and in the 2000s (as a comparative example, the pattern of creating a united revolutionary party within the framework of the Castro revolution in Cuba was also used). Methods and materials. The study uses a set of methods of analysis adopted in historical and political science, namely documentary analysis, systemic and comparative analysis. Analysis and Results. The cases presented in the article prove that Socialism of the 21st century is not the exclusive creation of Hugo Chavez, but is closely related to ideological discussions in the international left-wing movement of the first half of the 20th century. The article is based primarily on archival documents, which allowed the authors to show little-known pages in the history of Latin American left-wing parties. Authors’ contribution. V.L. The resulting instrument was tested for reliability and construct validity of 114 patients with diabetes and re-tested for reproducibility and consistency on a sub-group of 34 patients. Based on the analysis, the questionnaire’s syntax, phrasing, and flow were improved to obtain optimal assessment results.Results: The resulting questionnaire has three major sections: one for the main evaluated component (acceptability, desirability, and adherence to telemedicine in diabetes), one for collecting socio-economic and demographical information, and one for diabetes history-related data, respectively. The corresponding data for these sections are collected using 29 questions. The developed instrument has a good reliability (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.890), reproducibility (Total score 164 vs 166 points at re-test vs test; Mann–Whitney U p-value = 0.394) and external validity (Spearman’s rho = − 0.580; p < 0.001 for correlation with Patient’s Health Questionnaire − 9; and Spearman’s rho = − 0.516; p < 0.001 for correlation with Generalized Anxiety Disorder – 7).Conclusion: The developed questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument in assessing the patients’ acceptability, desirability, and adherence to telemedicine use in diabetes care. In addition, the use of this instrument in the development of telemedicine platforms may improve and optimize their usage by providing valuable information regarding patients’ preferences and specific needs.Keywords: telemedicine, eHealth, diabetes, self-care, health policies, economics of care

U radu se istražuje sintaksička struktura glagolskog izbijanja u srpskom jeziku u okviru generativnog teorijskog pristupa i načini na koje se ova vrsta elipse razlikuje u srpskom i engleskom jeziku. Testiraju se analize predložene u literaturi u cilju pronalaženja odgovora na tri osnovna pitanja: da li se glagolsko izbijanje zasniva na operaciji pomeranja ili na operaciji brisanja; da li rečenice u kojima je glagol izbijen u obe klauze, ali je povrativ na osnovu prethodne rečenice (diskursni antecedent), treba smatrati primerima izbijanja, te gde se u sintaksičkom stablu nalazi koordinacija dveju klauza. Dokazuje se da je, uprkos mnogim sličnostima, izbijanje u engleskom jeziku suštinski i strukturno drugačije od izbijanja u jezicima kao što je srpski. Na kraju se pokazuje da se analiza Gengel (2007), zasnovana na kontrastnom fokusu i operaciji brisanja, može primeniti na srpski i objasniti relevantne činjenice.

This paper explores the syntactic structure of verbal gapping in Serbian in the framework of the generative theoretical approach and the ways in which this type of ellipsis differs in Serbian and English. I test analyses proposed in the literature, and explore three basic questions: 1) Is verbal gapping based on the operation of movement or deletion?; 2) Can sentences in which the verb is gapped in both conjuncts, but is recoverable based on the previous sentence (discourse antecedent), be considered examples of gapping? and 3) Where is the coordination of the two conjuncts in the syntactic tree? Reasons why examples with a discourse antecedent should be considered examples of gapping include obligatory syntactic parallelism, recoverability of the verb and their existence in many unrelated languages. Analyses explored in the paper ( Johnson 2009, Coppock 2001), which assume that gapping involves a low coordination of vPs fail to generate these sentences or explain interpretations of gapping examples in which coordination scopes over negations of the conjuncts. Data points to the conclusion that Serbian gapping is not a coordination of vPs, but TPs, and that deletion is a necessary part of the derivation process. I demonstrate that Gengel’s (2007) approach, based on contrastive focus and deletion, can be applied to Serbian and explain the relevant facts.

This paper presents a methodology for aerodynamic optimization of UAV with VTOL capabilities. Aircrafts such as these usually fly at low speeds and due to that low Reynolds numbers are to be expected. The friction drag is highly dependent on the quality of the production process so unless special measures are undertaken, high friction drag coefficients could drastically influence overall performance of the aircraft. Changes of the geometrical parameters influence not only the induced drag of the wing, but also the distribution of the base drag due to sensitivity to changes of the Reynolds numbers. In order to determine the optimal geometrical parameters of the wing, a code for wing performance analysis was written. All necessary factors were calculated by utilizing the Glauert's solution of the Prandtl's equation for multi-segmented wings. By including experimental data of numerous airfoils optimized for low Reynolds numbers, the base drag distribution, along with the induced drag of the wings were calculated for a wide range of angles-of-attack. The obtained results are presented through diagrams and the methodology for the selection of the highest efficiency wing is described. The design of the T - shaped stabilizer was achieved by utilizing analytical methods while the Vortex Lattice Method, DATCOM and CFD were used for verification purposes.

Community policing is the strategy of policing that is applied in countries around the world, and through time, it became the most popular way of approach to police work. The goal of this strategy is reflected in creating a better and safer life of citizens, which is achieved through the teamwork of the police and the local community. Based on the analysis of the content of foreign scientific and professional literature, and official publications of the Japanese police, the author presents the specifics of the implementation of community policing strategy in Japan, in order to point to examples of good police practice, given that this is an official approach to policing in the Republic of Serbia. In addition to a review of the basic settings of this strategy, the organizational, programmatic, strategic and philosophical level of the so-called the koban - model of police work, the paper is presenting the obstacles that stand in the way of achieving the goals of this strategy and how the Japanese police overcome them. Finally, the author concludes that the practice of the Japanese police is a prototype of successful policing in the community, but that it is conditioned by the specifics of Japanese society, and as such can hardly be implemented in societies that do not share the same characteristics.

Background: The growth of the heart during the foetal and early postnatal development takes places mainly due to hyperplasia. The late postnatal development is characterised by cardiomyocytic hypertrophy in response to normal physiological mechanisms and increased load. To study the cell size most authors measure the diameter either directly or indirectly.

With the excessive risks that are present in today's environment, it is of great importance to treat wastewaters before their discharge in water streams. One of the everyday challenges is design of a low-cost and environmentally friendly sorbent such as hydrogel based on chitosan, itaconic and methacrylic acid that can remove wide range of textile dyes. In the present study, this hydrogel has been utilized for investigation of removal of three different azo dyes from simulated textile wastewater: C.I. Basic Blue 9, C.I. Basic Red 1 and C.I. Acid Orange 7. It was found that pH value of the solution had significant effect on dye sorption. Removal of basic dyes was successful at higher pH values, while sorption of acid dye was possible only at low pH value of solution. Simulated textile wastewater is a complex system with various salts, acids and polymers present beside dyes. Regardless of these components, excellent sorption capacity was achieved (more than 80% of dyes were removed), which makes this hydrogel attractive for use under real conditions.

One of the most important principles in the company is the principle of efficiency which consists in achieving the highest possible economic effects with minimum economic investment. In this paper, we present a nonparametric efficiency analysis, bus subsystems of public transport passengers Belgrade City, a sample of five small, three medium and two large companies. It was shown that the overall bus transport system has a low level of overall efficiency, only 0.66%. It was found that the economies of scale has no significant impact on the level of efficiency when it comes to classification that was generated for this study. Small and medium companies are in a worse situation than large companies when it comes to economies of scale. These results should indicate the necessity of the transport system and bus companies organizational and technological redesign.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a disease with often an aggressive course and a poor prognosis compared to other subtypes of breast cancer. TNBC accounts for approximately 10%-15% of all diagnosed breast cancer cases and represents a high unmet need in the field. Up to just a few years ago, chemotherapy was the only systemic treatment option for this subtype (1). To date, TNBC is considered a heterogeneous disease. One of the existing classifications is based on the analysis of mRNA expression in 587 TNBC cases, in which Lehman et al. proposed six subtypes of TNBC as follows: two basal-like (BL1 and BL2) subtypes, a mesenchymal (M) subtype, a mesenchymal stem-like (MSL) subtype, an immunomodulatory (IM) subtype, and a luminal androgen receptor (LAR) subtype (2). Later studies have demonstrated that the IM and MSL subtypes do not correlate with independent subtypes but reflect background expression by dense infiltration of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) or stromal cells. According to this finding, the classification of TNBC has been revised into the following four subtypes: basal 1, basal 2, LAR, and mesenchymal subtypes (3). Over the last years, several new strategies have been investigated for the treatment of patients with TNBC. Among them, immunotherapy, antibody drug conjugates, new chemotherapy agents, and targeted therapy have been and are currently being developed.
