A homemade Bonner cylinder spectrometer was used to determine the neutron spectrum from thermal energy up to several GeV at a heavily-shielded light source facility. The spectrometer, similar to the design of Bonner spheres, features high sensitivity of neutron detection because of using a long cylindrical 3He proportional counter. The spectrum measurement was performed during the facility commissioning by intentionally parking the injected electrons at the septum of the storage ring. Based on a high-fidelity FLUKA simulation, the predicted neutron spectrum at the location of measurement was adopted as the initial guess of spectrum unfolding. The unfolded result indicated an underestimation of the calculated neutron spectrum in the high-energy portion, leading to a substantial revision of the neutron dose rate at the location.

AbstractIn the research of technology switch, theories such as Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM), Behavioral Reasoning (BRT), Innovation Resistance (IRT), and Status Quo Bias (SQB) have been employed to extend the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), focusing on how old technology factors such as inertia as barriers to embracing new technological innovations. However, our research contends that the impact of these old technology factors on the technology switch is not unequivocal, as they may either hinder or facilitate the transition, depending on whether the new technology retains valued features of the old technology. To delve into this complexity, we introduce the concept of value resonance between old and new technologies.Utilizing Nintendo Switch for empirical analysis, two quantitative studies were conducted. Out of 630 distributed questionnaires, 553 valid responses were collected, yielding an 87.7% response rate. The first study used multi-groups analysis within TAM to differentiate between the technology acceptance group (TAG) and the technology switch group (TSG), contributing to the development of the Technology Switch Model (TSM). The second study applied Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) to examine value resonance’s mediating role in the TSM.The empirical results revealed discernible differences between TAG and TSG within the TAM framework, providing a robust theoretical basis for the TSM. Furthermore, the result indicated that factors associated with old technology could enhance users’ switching intentions through the mediating mechanism of value resonance. These findings aim to provide a more nuanced understanding of technology switch, highlighting that the dynamics between old and new technologies are more complex and variable than previously assumed. An inclusive and encompassing model that portrays the relationship between learning cycle and knowledge types has not been adequately covered in the relevant literature. Although both have been the focus of several studies, few related studies have integrated these two theories. This study explored how combining learning cycle theory with the perspective of knowledge types could enable scholars to better understand managerial knowledge processes. This model argues that learning processes may significantly affect the knowledge types obtained. The results showed that the learning processes experienced by learners have a positive influence on attaining knowledge types. Auxin is well known to stimulate coleoptile elongation and rapid seedling growth in the air. However, its role in regulating rice germination and seedling establishment under submergence is largely unknown. Previous studies revealed that excessive levels of indole‐3‐acetic acid(IAA) frequently cause the inhibition of plant growth and development. In this study, the high‐level accumulation of endogenous IAA is observed under dark submergence, stimulating rice coleoptile elongation but limiting the root and primary leaf growth during anaerobic germination (AG). We found that oxygen and light can reduce IAA levels, promote the seedling establishment and enhance rice AG tolerance. miRNA microarray profiling and RNA gel blot analysis results show that the expression of miR167 is negatively regulated by submergence; it subsequently modulates the accumulation of free IAA through the miR167‐ARF‐GH3 pathway. The OsGH3‐8 encodes an IAA‐amido synthetase that functions to prevent free IAA accumulation. Reduced miR167 levels or overexpressing OsGH3‐8 increase auxin metabolism, reduce endogenous levels of free IAA and enhance rice AG tolerance. Our studies reveal that poor seed germination and seedling growth inhibition resulting from excessive IAA accumulation would cause intolerance to submergence in rice, suggesting that a certain threshold level of auxin is essential for rice AG tolerance. Summary statement: Excessive auxin accumulation negatively affects rice AG. Conversely, oxygen and light significantly reduce IAA levels, promote the seedling establishment during AG, and submergence‐repressed miR167 reduces IAA levels through miR167‐ARF‐GH3 pathway and enhances AG tolerance.
