Repairing large-area soft tissue defects caused by traumas is a major surgical challenge. Developing multifunctional scaffolds with suitable scalability and favorable cellular response is crucial for soft tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed an orthogonally woven three-dimensional (3D) nanofiber scaffold combining electrospinning, weaving, and modified gas-foaming technology. The developed orthogonally woven 3D nanofiber scaffold had a modular design and controlled fiber alignment. In vitro, the orthogonally woven 3D nanofiber scaffold exhibited adjustable mechanical properties, good cell compatibility, and easy drug loading. In vivo, for one thing, the implantation of an orthogonally woven 3D nanofiber scaffold in a full abdominal wall defect model demonstrated that extensive granulation tissue formation with enough mechanical strength could promote recovery of abdominal wall defects while reducing intestinal adhesion. Another result of diabetic wound repair experiments suggested that orthogonally woven 3D nanofiber scaffolds had a higher wound healing ratio, granulation tissue formation, collagen deposition, and re-epithelialization. Taken together, this novel orthogonally woven 3D nanofiber scaffold may provide a promising and effective approach for optimal soft tissue regeneration.

Abstract Currently, the typical combination therapy of programmed death ligand‐1 (PD‐L1) antibodies with radiotherapy (RT) still exhibits impaired immunogenic antitumor response in clinical due to lessened DNA damage and acquired immune tolerance via the upregulation of some other immune checkpoint inhibitors. Apart from this, such combination therapy may raise the occurrence rate of radiation‐induced lung fibrosis (RIPF) due to enhanced systemic inflammation, leading to the ultimate death of cancer patients (average survival time of about 3 years). Therefore, it is newly revealed that mitochondria energy metabolism regulation can be used as a novel effective PD‐L1 and transforming growth factor‐β (TGF‐β) dual‐downregulation method. Following this, IR‐TAM is prepared by conjugating mitochondria‐targeted heptamethine cyanine dye IR‐68 with oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) inhibitor Tamoxifen (TAM), which then self‐assembled with albumin (Alb) to form IR‐TAM@Alb nanoparticles. By doing this, tumor‐targeting IR‐TAM@Alb nanoparticle effectively reversed tumor hypoxia and depressed PD‐L1 and TGF‐β expression to sensitize RT. Meanwhile, due to the capacity of heptamethine cyanine dye in targeting RIPF and the function of TAM in depressing TGF‐β, IR‐TAM@Alb also ameliorated fibrosis development induced by RT.

The 2021 Yangbi earthquake sequence occurred on the southwestern margin of the Chuandian block in China, which is a typical foreshock-mainshock-aftershock sequence. We investigate source properties of this earthquake sequence with seismic and geodetic data. Focal mechanisms of M ≥ 2.0 events in this earthquake sequence are determined using P wave first-motion polarity plus S/P amplitude ratio data from local short-period and broadband seismic stations. The determined focal mechanisms together with spatial distribution of the earthquake sequence indicate the overall northwest-southeast-trending seismogenic faults with dominant strike-slip motions. We conduct kinematic finite-fault inversion with strong-motion, local broadband seismic, and coseismic InSAR plus GNSS displacement data, finding that the mainshock ruptured a major asperity unilaterally with a rupture length and duration being approximately 15 km and 6.5 s, respectively. The released scalar seismic moment is 1.7 × 1018 Nm, corresponding to a moment magnitude MW 6.1. Besides, stress field inversion results manifest that source area is characterized by a strike-slip stress regime and the local stress field has changed before and after the mainshock. We suggest that rupture initiation, propagation, and arrest of the 2021 Yangbi earthquake sequence may be regulated by the immanent strength and stress heterogeneities of the seismogenic fault.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes on rosacea. Methods Seventy-eight patients with rosacea, including 39 PPR type and 39 ETR type, were enrolled at the Changsha Mylike Cosmetic Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022. All patients were treated with microneedling infusion of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (MSC-exo) once a month for three months. In this study, chromatographic and mass spectrometry conditions, sample cleanup and extraction, composition and ratio of salt and purifiers were optimized, which established a high-throughput screening method for 11 plant growth regulators and 79 antibiotic drugs in sprout vegetables by ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). Samples were extracted by 1% acetonitrile-EDTA-mcllvaine buffer solution, purified by QuEChERS, and separated by ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 column with gradient elution. Electrospray positive and negative ion mode was used in multi-reaction monitoring mode, and matrix curve external standard method was used to quantify. The limits of quantitation of 90 compounds were in the range of 0.1~15.4 μg/kg. The average recoveries were in the range of 42.2%~138.6% with relative standard deviations lower than 17.2%. In this study, simultaneous, rapid and high-throughput screening and detection of 90 high-risk substances in sprout vegetables were established, which is conducive to a more full understanding of the quality and safety problems of sprout vegetables.

Traffic capacity is an important index to measure the operation efficiency of expressway toll stations. In order to pro-vide relevant theoretical support for accurately evaluating the congestion degree and service level of toll stations, this paper establishes a traffic capacity calculation model for the square in front of expressway toll stations based on the traditional cellular transmission method. Firstly, by dividing the square in front of the station into regular cells, the process of calculating the traffic capacity is simplified; Secondly, the capacity model of the square in front of the station is established based on cellular transmission, and a large amount of data is collected through the monitoring videos of several toll stations. The theoretical capacity of the square in front of the station is calculated by using the important parameters of the model calibrated by the measured data under different lengths of the square in front of the station and the configuration of toll lanes. Then, the simulation platform of VISSIM software is used, and many experi-ments are carried out with relevant measured data to verify the accuracy of the model in multiple scenarios. Finally, the simulation value of the capacity of the square in front of the station is obtained, and the error is calculated by using the simulation value and the calculation value. The results show that the error of the verification result is 5.19%, and the error is within the allowable range, which shows that the model is accurate and feasible. The theoretical capacity calculated by the capacity model of the square in front of the toll station established in this paper is com-pared with the actual capacity, which can be used as a standard to judge the congestion degree of the square in front of the toll station and further provide a theoretical reference for evacuation of congestion.

Mulberry is a common crop rich in flavonoids, and its leaves (ML), fruits (M), and branches (Ramulus Mori, RM) have medicinal value. In the present study, a total of 118 flavonoid metabolites (47 flavone, 23 flavonol, 16 flavonoid, 8 anthocyanins, 8 isoflavone, 14 flavanone, and 2 proanthocyanidins) and 12 polyphenols were identified by ultra-performance liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry. The most abundant in ML were 8-C-hexosyl-hesperetin O-hexoside and astragalin, the most abundant in M were 8-C-hexosyl-hesperetin O-hexoside and naringenin, and the most abundant in RM were cyanidin 3-O-galactoside and gallocatechin–gallocatechin. The total flavonoid compositions of ML and RM were essentially the same, but the contents of flavonoid metabolite in more than half of them were higher than those in M. Compared with ML, the contents of flavone and flavonoid in RM and M were generally down-regulated. Each tissue part had a unique flavonoid, which could be used as a marker to distinguish different tissue parts. In this study, the differences between flavonoid metabolite among RM, ML, and M were studied, which provided a theoretical basis for making full use of mulberry resources.

Supercritical water gasification (SCWG) technology is highly promising for its ability to cleanly and efficiently convert biomass to hydrogen. This paper developed a model for the gasification of rice straw in supercritical water (SCW) to predict the direction and limit of the reaction based on the Gibbs free energy minimization principle. The equilibrium distribution of rice straw gasification products was analyzed under a wide range of parameters including temperatures of 400–1200 °C, pressures of 20–50 MPa, and rice straw concentrations of 5–40 wt%. Coke may not be produced due to the excellent properties of supercritical water under thermodynamic constraints. Higher temperatures, lower pressures, and biomass concentrations facilitated the movement of the chemical equilibrium towards hydrogen production. The hydrogen yield was 47.17 mol/kg at a temperature of 650 °C, a pressure of 25 MPa, and a rice straw concentration of 5 wt%. Meanwhile, there is an absorptive process in the rice straw SCWG process for high-calorific value hydrogen production. Energy self-sufficiency of the SCWG process can be maintained by adding small amounts of oxygen (ER < 0.2). This work would be of great value in guiding rice straw SCWG experiments.

Objectives: From March to June 2021, the reported number of clinically diagnosed endemic typhus in Anhui and Hubei provinces of China nearly increased four-fold compared with the monthly average numbers in last 5 years. An etiological and epidemiological investigation was initiated. Methods: The clinical specimens from the reported patients and the potential vector ticks were collected for molecular and serological detection, as well as cell culturing assay to identify the potential pathogen. Results: Polymerase chain reaction and sequence analysis of rrs and groEL showed that the pathogen from these patients was Ehrlichia sp., isolated from Haemaphysalis longicornis attached to these patients. The phylogenetic analysis based on 39 Ehrlichia genomes suggested that it should be taxonomically classified as a novel species, tentatively named “Candidatus Ehrlichia erythraense”. A total of 19 of 106 cases were confirmed as Candidatus Ehrlichia erythraense infections by polymerase chain reaction, sequencing, and/or serological tests. The most frequent symptoms were fever (100%), rashes (100%), asthenia (100%), anorexia (100%), and myalgia (79%). Conclusion: The occurrence of the disease presenting with fever and rashes in Anhui and Hubei provinces was caused by a novel species of the genus Ehrlichia; physicians need to be aware of this newly-discovered pathogen to ensure appropriate testing, treatment, and regional surveillance.

In this study, a total of 179 ticks infesting ruminant livestock, including 166 Haemaphysalis longicornis ticks and 13 Rhipicephalus microplus ticks were collected from Yingshan county of Hubei province, China in 2021–2022. PCR testing and sequence analysis revealed that the ticks infected with various species of pathogens including Rickettsia (R. japonica), Anaplasma (A. bovis, A. ovis, A. platys, and Ca. A. boleense), Ehrlichia (E. minasensis and Ehrlichia sp.), Theileria (T. orientalis and T. luwenshuni), and Babesia (B. bigemina). The infection rates of these pathogens were 0.56, 16.76, 7.26, 2.79 and 0.56%. respectively, while only 3 of 13 R. microplus ticks were detected to be infected wth Ehrlichia sp., A. bove., or T. luwenshuni. Our results revealed that a variety of tick-borne pathogens highly carried by these ticks, specially Ha. longicornis. Therefore, it is necessary to make effective control of the ticks and the tick-borne diseases in the County.

ObjectivesThe identification of molecular biomarkers for bipolar disorder is anticipated to greatly improve the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. The objective of this case–control study is to determine whether the blood thyroid hormone levels in bipolar disorder patients are associated with different types of first onset.MethodsFrom August 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021 a total of 120 female patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder and hospitalized at Qingdao Mental Health Center were recruited as the case group, including 60 patients with depression as their first onset (depression first-episode group, DF) and 60 with mania/hypomania as their first onset (mania/hypomania first-episode group, M/HF). A group of 60 healthy adult females matching general demographic data, such as race and age, were selected as the control group. Blood samples were taken from both groups to measure serum triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4), free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) concentrations.ResultsThe duration of current onset in the M/HF group was significantly less than that in the DF group (23.1 ± 20.2 vs. 125.2 ± 41.0 days). About 27% of patients in the M/HF group had thyroid abnormalities, in contrast to 60% in the DF group. The blood T3 and T4 levels in both the M/HF group and the DF group, as well as the TF3 levels in the DF group, were significantly lower as compared to control. The M/HF group had significantly higher T3 and FT3 levels than the DF group. The blood T3 levels were inversely correlated with the Young’s Mania Scale score and the Hamilton Depression Scale score in both the M/HF and DF groups.ConclusionThyroid dysfunction resulting in reduced levels of blood thyroid levels may be involved in the disease progression of bipolar disorder, and correlated with the clinical symptoms in patients with depression or mania as the first episode.

Skarn Au deposits exist in the circum-pacific metallogenic belt. Interestingly, the Da’anhe Au deposit is the only independent skarn gold deposit in the Lesser Xing’an Range. To determine the metallogenic mechanism and prospecting potential of the Da’anhe deposit, we performed skarn mineralogy, fluid inclusion (FI) and H-O isotope analyses. The results show the following: (1) The Da’anhe deposit is a calcareous reduced skarn Au deposit that formed between an Early Jurassic gabbroic diorite and the Permian Tumenling Formation marble. Its metallogenic process includes five stages: the early skarn stage (Stage I1), late skarn stage (Stage I2), early quartz-sulfide stage (Stage II1), late quartz-sulfide stage (Stage II2) and quartz-carbonate stage (Stage II3). Gold precipitated in Stage II1 and Stage II2. (2) The initial ore-forming fluid was derived from magmatic water and featured a high temperature and intermediate to high salinity. After boiling and mixing, the fluid eventually changed to a low-temperature and low-salinity reducing fluid dominated by meteoric water. The COVID-19 pandemic, which was caused by SARS-CoV-2, has had a significant effect on global public health, economies, and societies worldwide. Serum antibody testing is a critical method for the diagnosis of COVID-19 and can complement RT-PCR in the diagnosis of COVID-19 patients; however, the performance of rapid antibody assays in the clinical setting has not been established. Rapid antibody assays were evaluated by investigating 296 COVID-19-positive individuals and 542 negative individuals confirmed by clinical diagnosis. The clinical diagnostic results were used as controls to evaluate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), kappa, and 95% confidence interval (CI) of the rapid tests. IgM-positivity had a sensitivity of 86.1% and specificity of 99.1%. IgG-positivity had a sensitivity of 86.5% and specificity of 98.7%. The sensitivity of combined IgM- and IgG-positivity in clinically confirmed patients was 73.1% in the early stage (1-7 days after symptom onset) and reached 99% 15 days after symptom onset. The concordance between rapid antibody-positive tests and clinical diagnosis-positivity had a kappa value of 0.93. In addition, the false-positive rate of IgM and IgG combined nucleic acid detection was 30% in the early stage. The combined use of IgM and IgG could serve as a more suitable alternative detection method for patients with COVID-19. The rapid antibody test can be considered as an excellent supplementary approach for detecting SARS-CoV-2 in clinical application.

DNA methylation plays a pivotal role in the progression of renal fibrosis. Methyl-CpG–binding domain protein 2 (MBD2), a protein reader of methylation, is involved in the development of acute kidney injury (AKI) caused by vancomycin. However, the role and mechanism of action of MBD2 in renal remain unclear. In this study, MBD2 mediated extracellular matrix (ECM) production induced by TGF-β1 in Boston University mouse proximal tubule (BUMPT) cells，and upregulated the expression EGR1 to promote ECM production in murine embryonic NIH 3T3 fibroblasts. ChIP analysis demonstrated that MBD2 physically interacted with the promoter region of the CpG islands of EGR1 genes and then activated their expression by inducing hypomethylation of the promoter region. In vivo, PT-MBD2-KO attenuated unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO)-induced renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis via downregulation of EGR1, which was demonstrated by the downregulation of fibronectin (FN), collagen I and IV, α-SMA, and EGR1. Injection of MBD2-siRNA attenuated the UUO- and I/R-induced renal fibrosis. Those molecular changes were verified by biopsies from patients with obstructive nephropathy (OB). These data collectively demonstrated that inhibition of MBD2 reduces renal fibrosis via downregulating EGR1, which could be a target for treatment of fibrotic kidney disease.

Abstract Background Survivors in motor vehicle accident (MVA) may have posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Yoga is a complementary approach for PTSD therapy. Methods This randomized controlled trial explored whether yoga intervention has effects on reducing the symptoms of PTSD in women survived in MVA. Participants (n = 94) were recruited and randomized into control group or yoga group. Participants attended 6 45-minuite yoga sessions in 12 weeks. Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) and Impact of Events Scale-Revised (IES-R) were used to assess psychological distress. Results Post-intervention IES-R total score of yoga group was significantly lower than that of control group (p = 0.01). At both post-intervention and 3-months post intervention, the DASS-21 total scores of yoga group were both significantly lower than those of control group (p = 0.043, p = 0.024). Abstract Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are involved in the pathogenesis of certain renal diseases, however, the function and mechanism of them in renal fibrosis remains largely unknown. In the present study, RNA expression data in unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) kidneys was obtained from our previous circRNA Microarray and public Gene Expression Omnibus datasets to construct a ceRNA network. The effects of target circRNA as long as the homologous human circRNA on renal fibrosis was examined in vitro and in vivo. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis was further performed among genes regulated by the human circRNA. We found that circRNA_37492, showing well connection degree in the ceRNA network, was abundant expression and high sequence conservation. We observed that the expression of circRNA_37492 was induced by the TGF-β1 or UUO in BUMPT cells and C57BL/6 mice, respectively. In vitro, cytoplasmic circRNA_37492 inhibited type I, III collagen and fibronectin deposition by sponging miR-7682-3p and then upregulated its downstream target Fgb. In vivo, overexpression of circRNA_37492 attenuated fibrotic lesions in the kidneys of UUO mice via targeting miR-7682-3p/Fgb axis. Furthermore, hsa_circ_0012138, homologous with circRNA_37492, may potentially target miR-651-5p/FGB axis in human renal fibrosis. Not only that, GO and KEGG enrichment revealed that hsa_circ_0012138-regulated genes were previously demonstrated to related to the fibrosis. In conclusion, we for the first time demonstrated that circRNA_37492 attenuated renal fibrosis via targeting miR-7682-3p/Fgb axis, and the homologous hsa_circRNA_0012138 was speculated as a possible ceRNA to regulate multiple gene expressions and involve in human renal fibrosis, suggesting that circRNA_37492/hsa_circ_0012138 may serve as potent therapy target for obstructive renal fibrosis disease.

Public policy is an important support for the coordinated development of urban agglomeration. Since the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become a national strategy, a series of policies aimed at deepening regional cooperation and promoting regional coordinated development have been introduced. The quantitative measurement of policy can finely reflect the internal relationship structure of urban agglomeration governance. This study collected 428 regional coordinated development policies from the websites of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Leading Group Office and the relevant municipal governments. It topologized the relationship between policy subjects, measured the supply intensity of coordinated development policies, and analyzed the spatial connection based on policy relevance. The study found that: 1) The policy measures of one-way benefiting Hong Kong and Macao are the main policy supply direction at present, and in most cases, the policy feedback from Hong Kong and Macao is less than expected. 2) Policy supply is highly concentrated in the field of public services and industrial development, aiming to narrow the service gap between Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland and attract high quality talents. 3) Districts and counties and local professional departments have not yet fully entered the coordinated development policy network of the Greater Bay Area, due to the lack of consultation platforms matching with their administrative levels. 4) The four central cities of Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have different policy relations and spatial connections with other subjects in the Greater Bay Area. It is worth noting that although Zhuhai is not regarded as one of the central cities in the Greater Bay Area, it takes the initiative to establish close policy cooperation with Macao and actively seeks to establish partnerships with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong. And these initiatives have enhanced Zhuhai's embeddedness and influence in the regional relationship network. 5) The policy linkages between cities in the Greater Bay Area are frequently interacted within the metropolitan area, and the policy linkages across metropolitan areas are relatively loose. Therefore, this paper suggests that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area can further strengthen the two-way policy linkage between neighboring cities, neighboring districts and counties, professional departments and the two central cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, coordinate the policies towards Hong Kong and Macao, and make the policy supply further adapt to the governance structure of the Greater Bay Area. In short, this paper explores a method to measure and study the spatial connection of urban agglomeration based on coordinated development policies, which provides a research path for quantitatively indicating the correlation strength of coordinated development policies and the internal relationship structure of regional governance of urban agglomeration, provides technical support for policy formulation and optimization, and supports the fine governance of urban agglomeration.

Abstract Recent studies reported that Methyl-CpG–binding domain protein 2 (MBD2) promoted M2 macrophages accumulation to increase bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis. However, the role and mechanism of action of MBD2 in macrophages differentiation and renal fibrosis remain largely unknown. In the current study, MBD2 not only promoted the differentiation of resting M0 macrophages to polarized M2 macrophages, but also induced them to polarized M1 macrophages and the transition of M2 to M1 macrophages. ChIP analysis demonstrated that MBD2 physically interacted with the promoter region of the CpG islands of G0S2 genes, and then activated their expression by inducing hypomethylation of the promoter region. Interestingly, the data demonstrated that the role of G0S2 in macrophages differentiation is consistent with MBD2. Furthermore, Co-culture of activated M1 macrophages and murine embryonic NIH 3T3 fibroblasts indicated that MBD2 mediated the M1-induction of ECM production by embryonic NIH 3T3 fibroblasts via promotion of G0S2. In addition, we also found that inhibition of MBD2 suppressed LPS induced the expression of p53 as well as activation and expression of stat3 in RAW264.7 macrophages. In vivo, MBD2 LysMcre attenuated unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) and ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced renal fibrosis via downregulation of G0S2, which was demonstrated by the downregulation of fibronectin (FN), collagen I and IV, α-SMA, G0S2. These data collectively demonstrated that MBD2 in macrophages contributed to UUO and I/R-induced renal fibrosis through the upregulation of G0S2, which could be a target for treatment for chronic kidney disease.

As an important method of plan testing, mechanism building and team training, emergency exercise is an important way to overcome the challenges of food safety accidents such as tight schedule, heavy task and great impact. This research focuses on the field of food safety emergency exercise construction in China, based on the understanding of the National Key Technology R&D Program "integration and application of emergency response technology system for major food safety emergencies" and through the comprehensive analysis of the research progress of food safety emergency exercise at home and abroad. It reflects the existing problems of food safety accident emergency exercise in China, and puts forward some suggestions accordingly. The research will have a certain reference significance for the construction of food safety accident emergency exercise in China.

To avoid resource waste and environmental pollution, a chain of ErOx-boosted MnOx-modified biochars derived from rice straw and sewage sludge (EryMn1-y/BACs, where biochars derived from rice straw and sewage sludge were defined as BACs) were manufactured for formaldehyde (HCHO) elimination. The optimal 15%Er0.5Mn0.5/BAC achieved a 97.2% HCHO removal efficiency at 220 °C and exhibited favorable EHCHO and thermal stability in a wide temperature window between 180 and 380 °C. The curbed influences of H2O and SO2 offset the boosting effect of O2 in a certain range. Er–Mn bimetallic-modified BACs offered a superior HCHO removal performance compared with that of BACs boosted using Er or Mn separately, owing to the synergistic effect of ErOx and MnOx conducive to improving the samples’ total pore volume and surface area, surface active oxygen species, promoting redox ability, and inhibiting the crystallization of MnOx. Moreover, the support’s hierarchical porous structure not only expedited the diffusion and mass transfer of reactants and their products but also elevated the approachability of adsorption and catalytic sites. Notably, these prominent features were partly responsible for the outstanding performance and excellent tolerance to H2O and SO2. Using in situ DRIFTS characterization analysis, it could be inferred that the removal process of HCHO was HCHOad → dioxymethylene (DOM) → formate species → CO2 + H2O, further enhanced with reactive oxygen species. The DFT calculation once again proved the removal process of HCHO and the strengthening effect of Er doping. Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide extract 1 (GPS-1) is a bioactive component isolated from Glycyrrhiza uralensis, also known as Chinese licorice. It appears to be pharmacologically active as an antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-tumor agent. GPS-1 has also been shown to buffer liver health and regulate the immune system. Moreover, GPS-1 is low cost and easy to extract. More study was needed to elucidate the biochemical pathways underlying the immunomodulatory and antioxidant benefits observed in Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide extract 1 (GPS-1). in vitro experiments on chicken lymphocytes and dendritic cells (DCs) show that GPS-1 significantly promotes the proliferation of immune cells and is linked to lymphocytes' secretion of IL-12, IFN-γ, and TNF-α by. DC secretion of NO, IL-2, IL-1β, IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-12p70 was also increased significantly. Additionally, GPS-1 also displayed a significant antioxidant effect in vitro, able to scavenge DPPH, hydrogen peroxide, ABTS, and other free radicals like superoxide anions. Separately, GPS-1 was tested in vivo in combination with the Newcastle disease virus (NDV) – attenuated vaccine. 120 Lohmann Brown chickens were vaccinated, while another 30 became the unvaccinated blank control (BC) group. For three consecutive days 1 mL of GPS-1 was administered at doses of 19.53 μg/mL, 9.77 μg/mL, or 4.88 μg/mL to the ND-vaccinated birds, except for the vaccine control (VC), where n = 30 per group. In vivo results show that GPS-1 combined with Newcastle disease (ND) vaccine had the best efficacy at significantly increasing chickens' body weight and ND serum antibody titer, enhancing their secretion of IL-2 and IFN- γ, and promoting the development of immune organs. The results also indicate that GPS-1 was able increase the proliferation of in vitro immune cells and elevate their cytokine secretion, which enhances the body's immune response. GPS-1 also clearly has the potential to be used as an immune adjuvant alongside ND vaccination.

Heavy precipitation tends to cause mountain torrents, urban waterlogging and other disasters. It poses a serious threat to people’s life and property safety. Therefore, real-time quantitative precipitation estimation is especially important to keep track of precipitation changes and reduce negative impacts. However, high-resolution and high-accuracy quantitative precipitation estimation is a challenging task due to the complex spatial and temporal variability of microphysics in precipitation processes. Previous studies have focused only on small-scale radar reflectivity factors above rain gauges and did not pay enough attention to the contribution of covariates to model performance. Meteorological and geographical factors play an important role in rain process, so these factors are taken into account during our research. In this study, a quantitative precipitation estimation model that can employ multi-scale radar reflectivity factors and fuse meteorological and geographical factors is proposed to further improve precipitation accuracy. In addition, we propose the muti-scale self-attention (MS-SA) module that can further utilize information at multiple spatial scales to improve the accurate precipitation estimation. The proposed model reduced the root mean square error of precipitation estimation by 83.8% compared to the conventional Z-R relationship that correlates the rainfall and radar reflectivity factors, i.e., Z=aRb, and by 43.7, 24.6, and 22.7% compared to the back propagation neural network (BPNN), convolutional neural network (CNN), and convolutional neural network with the addition of meteorological factors and geographical factors as covariates in the proposed model, respectively. Therefore, we can conclude that multi-scale radar reflectivity factors fused with meteorological and geographical factors can produce more accurate precipitation estimation.

Objectives: The B cell activating factor (BAFF) is a B cell survival factor involved in atherosclerosis and ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury. This study sought to investigate whether BAFF is a potential predictor of poor outcomes in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Methods: We prospectively enrolled 299 patients with STEMI, and serum levels of BAFF were measured. All subjects were followed for three years. The primary endpoint was major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs), including cardiovascular death, nonfatal reinfarction, hospitalization for heart failure (HF), and stroke. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards models were constructed to analyze the predictive value of BAFF for MACEs. Results: In multivariate analysis, BAFF was independently associated with risk of MACEs (adjusted HR 1.525, 95% CI 1.085–2.145; p = 0.015) and cardiovascular death (adjusted hazard ratio [HR] 3.632, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.132–11.650, p = 0.030) after adjustment for traditional risk factors. Kaplan-Meier survival curves demonstrated that patients with BAFF levels above the cut-off value (1.46 ng/mL) were more likely to have MACEs (log-rank p < 0.0001) and cardiovascular death (log-rank p < 0.0001). In subgroup analysis, the impact of high BAFF on MACEs development was stronger in patients without dyslipidemia. Furthermore, the C-statistic and Integrated Discrimination Improvement (IDI) values for MACEs were improved with BAFF as an independent risk factor or when combined with cardiac troponin I. Conclusions: This study suggests that higher BAFF levels in the acute phase are an independent predictor of the incidence of MACEs in patients with STEMI.

One-third of the Earth in China is formed by Karst topography, which exposes different Karst landforms in three topography grades from southeast to northwest, corresponding to below several hundred meters for the first grade, one to two thousand meters for the second grade, and more than 4000 m for the in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Through the hydrochemical and D-18O stable isotopes of 64 water samples collected along two railway lines and the topography fractal characteristics of three typical Karst areas in different topography grades, the changes in Karst development degree, changes in groundwater activities, and the influence of tunnel excavation effects on groundwater environment were analyzed. The results indicated that: (1) the Karst development degree and the influence of Karst tunnel excavation on the groundwater environment are somehow similar in the first and second grades, while there are significant differences between the slopes area from second to third grade and the third grade area. (2) In detail, the relatively weaker Karst development degree and flow seeping in the second grade relatively weaken the influences of tunnel excavation, including the distribution pattern of water resources, the groundwater flow field, and water circulation, while the tunnel elevation has little room to rise. (3) There are many large faults in the north-southward direction in the third topography grade, and the transportation lines in the eastern-western direction will inevitably encounter them. In the intersection area, the tunnel excavation has great effects on the groundwater environment. (4) The lighter hydrogen and oxygen isotopes are enriched in Karst water from the first grade to the third grade, indicating that the recharge source of Karst water presents obvious elevation effect.

Summary: Background: Severe open fractures of the limbs caused by high-energy events are common. Orthopaedic surgeons are often confused when making treatment protocols for these injuries. A case series of 8 patients with type IIIB and IIIC open fractures of the extremities managed with free tissue transfer combined with the Ilizarov technique is presented. Method: This is a retrospective study of 8 patients with Gustilo type IIIB and IIIC open fractures of the extremities treated with free tissue transfer and the Ilizarov technique. The bone and functional outcomes were evaluated using the Association for the Study and Application of the Method of Ilizarov (ASAMI) classification, and the complications were classified according to the Paley criteria. Results: The mean follow-up duration was 22.5 ​± ​6.85 months (range, 13–36 months). All patients achieved complete union in both soft tissue and bone defects. The limb length of the 8 patients was completely restored. The mean bone defect was 9.4 ​± ​2.0 ​cm (range, 6.5–13.3 ​cm). The mean bone union time was 11.1 ​± ​2.3 months (range, 7.0–15.0 months). The mean bone transport time was 113.9 ​± ​17.7 days (range, 87–136 days). The mean soft tissue defect was 109.5 ​± ​78.8 ​cm2 (range, 98–299 ​cm2). The mean healing time of the soft tissue defects was 2.5 ​± ​2.3 months (range, 1.0–8.0 months). The mean external fixation time was 17.1 ​± ​3.48 months (range, 10–21 months), and the mean external fixation index (EFI) was 2.1 ​± ​0.7 ​months/cm (range, 1.1–3.5 ​months/cm). The bone outcomes were excellent in five patients, good in two patients, and fair in one patient. The functional outcomes were excellent in three patients, good in three patients, and fair in two patients. There were five problems, 13 obstacles, and one true complication according to the Paley criteria. Conclusion: Performing free tissue transfer combined with the Ilizarov technique in patients with Gustilo type IIIB and IIIC open fractures of the extremities is safe and effective. The translational potential of this article: Our data suggest performing free tissue transfer combined with the Ilizarov technique in patients with Gustilo type IIIB and IIIC open fractures of the extremities is safe and effective.

Abstract Accurate precipitation estimation is significant since it matters to everyone on social and economic activities and is of great importance to monitor and forecast disasters. The traditional method utilizes an exponential relation between radar reflectivity factors and precipitation called Z-R relationship which has a low accuracy in precipitation estimation. With the rapid development of computing power in cloud computing, recent researches show that artificial intelligence is a promising approach, especially deep learning approaches in learning accurate patterns and appear well suited for the task of precipitation estimation, given an ample account of radar data. In this study, we introduce these approaches to the precipitation estimation, proposing two models based on the back propagation neural networks (BPNN) and convolutional neural networks (CNN) respectively, to compare with the traditional method in meteorological service systems. The results of the three approaches show that deep learning algorithms outperform the traditional method with 75.84% and 82.30% lower mean square errors respectively. Meanwhile, the proposed method with CNN achieves a better performance than that with BPNN for its ability to preserve the spatial information by maintaining the interconnection between pixels, which improves 26.75% compared to that with BPNN.

Accurate estimation of tropical cyclone (TC) intensity is the key to understanding and forecasting the behavior of TC and is crucial for initialization in forecast models and disaster management in the meteorological industry. TC intensity estimation is a challenge because it requires domain knowledge to manually extract TC cloud structure features and form various sets of parameters obtained from satellites. In this paper, a novel hybrid model is proposed based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for TC intensity estimation with satellite remote sensing. According to the intensity of TCs, we divide them into three types and use three different models for intensity regression, respectively. The results show that the use of piecewise thinking can improve the model's fitting speed on small samples. A classification network is provided to classify unlabeled TC samples before TC regression, whose results would determine which regression network to estimate these samples. Finally, the estimation values are sent to the backpropagation (BP) neural network to fit the suitable intensity values. Experimental results demonstrate that our model achieves high accuracy and low root-mean-square error (RMSE up to 8.91 kts) by just using inferred images.

The first-line treatment options for high-risk prostate cancer (PCa) are definitive external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) with or without androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and radical prostatectomy (RP) with or without adjuvant therapies. However, few randomized trials have compared the survival outcomes of these two treatments. To systematically evaluate the survival outcomes of high-risk PCa patients treated with EBRT- or RP-based therapy, a comprehensive and up-to-date meta-analysis was performed. A systematic online search was conducted for randomized or observational studies that investigated biochemical relapse-free survival (bRFS), cancer-specific survival (CSS), and/or overall survival (OS), in relation to the use of RP or EBRT in patients with high-risk PCa. The summary hazard ratios (HRs) were estimated under the random effects models. We identified heterogeneity between studies using Q tests and measured it using I2 statistics. We evaluated publication bias using funnel plots and Egger's regression asymmetry tests. Seventeen studies (including one randomized controlled trial [RCT]) of low risk of bias were selected and up to 9504 patients were pooled. When comparing EBRT-based treatment with RP-based treatment, the pooled HRs for bRFS, CSS, and OS were 0.40 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.24–0.67), 1.36 (95% CI: 0.94–1.97), and 1.39 (95% CI: 1.18–1.62), respectively. Better OS for RP-based treatment and better bRFS for EBRT-based treatment have been identified, and there was no significant difference in CSS between the two treatments. RP-based treatment is recommended for high-risk PCa patients who value long-term survival, and EBRT-based treatment might be a promising alternative for elderly patients.

Bladder cancer (BCa) is the 10th most common and 13th most deadly malignancy worldwide. About 5% of BCa patients present initially with metastatic disease, with bone being the most diagnosed site for distant metastasis. The overall one-year survival of patients with BCa is 84%, whereas it is only 21% in patients with bone metastasis (BM). Metastasis of BCa cells to bone occurs by epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, angiogenesis, intravasation, extravasation, and interactions with the bone microenvironment. However, the mechanism of BCa metastasis to the bone is not completely understood; it needs a further preclinical model to completely explain the process. As different imaging mechanisms, PET-CT cannot replace a radionuclide bone scan or an MRI for diagnosing BM. The management of BCa patients with BM includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, antibody-drug conjugates, bisphosphonates, denosumab, radioisotopes, and surgery. The objective of these treatments is to inhibit disease progression, improve overall survival, reduce skeletal-related events, relieve pain, and improve the quality of life of patients.

This study explores the paleoclimate changes around the 4 ka BP period in the central Qaidam Basin (QB), assessing the differences in spectral characteristics and organic composition of salt lake sediments under different climate change conditions. Sediment samples (10-m-depth profile) were collected from the middle of dry salt flats in East Taijinar Lake (China). Sediment organic matter (SOM) was assessed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Results showed a significant difference in the TOC content of sediments with different lithological characteristics. A lower TOC content in salt-bearing strata was attributed to the extreme sedimentary environment with minimal exogenous inputs. FTIR spectroscopy revealed that the SOM in sediments included aliphatic C, ketones and alcohols. Sediments of salt-bearing strata generally exhibited a rise in the content of ketone C=O groups and a decrease in aliphatic C, with an equal content of alcohols compared with silty sand. Therefore, exogenous OM and the content of TOC in silty sand strata are higher than in salt-bearing strata, indicating that the paleoclimate became warmer and wetter after 4 ka BP. GC-MS analysis showed a significant difference between the phenol and aldehyde content in different strata, further indicating that the paleoclimate changed from dry to relatively warm around 4 ka BP. Seven organic compound types were identified in SOM, including aldehydes, hydrocarbons, phenols, esters, ketones, alcohols, and furans. Different strata exhibited different distributions of organic compounds, with particularly high concentrations of aldehydes in salt-bearing strata and phenols in silty sand. Correlation analysis was performed between detrital minerals and OM types in all samples. Results showed a strong positive correlation between detrital minerals and phenols and a strong negative correlation between detrital minerals and aldehydes, with a negative correlation also identified between detrital minerals and ketones. Overall, the reduction in volatile organic compounds demonstrates that the paleoclimate changed from cooler and dry to wet and warm around the 4 ka BP period in the central QB, with the carbon preference index and n-alkane values further demonstrating these results. This study also confirms the importance of volatile organic compound monitoring to assess paleoclimate changes.

Lithium ore deposits are divided into pegmatite and brine deposits. The Puna Plateau and the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau (QTP) are home to the most abundant brine lithium deposits worldwide. Very few studies have investigated the chronology of brine lithium deposits. This paper reports the Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating measurements for typical brine lithium deposits at QTP, including East Taijnar Salt Lake, West Taijnar Salt Lake, and Yiliping Salt Lake in the central Qaidam Basin. Combining the results of OSL dating with previous studies and mineral composition obtained by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), this study summarizes the age and characteristics of the climatic environment during the formation of brine lithium deposits in the Qaidam Basin. The main results are: 1) Brine lithium deposits in the Qaidam Basin began to form since 40 ka. Brine lithium deposits in South America formed during the middle Pleistocene and late Pleistocene, and are older than the deposits in the Qaidam Basin. The lithium deposits of Tibet formed around 4 ka, are the youngest. 2) The climate in East Taijnar Salt Lake and West Taijnar Salt Lake was extremely cold and dry during 27–4.6 ka, with a relatively humid climatic condition at ∼10 ka. After 4.6 ka, the environment was comparatively more humid around both lakes. Yiliping Salt Lake had a dry climate since 38.09 ka, and the climate in the Three Lakes area is mainly controlled by the westerlies in the Holocene; and 3) East Taijnar Salt Lake, West Taijnar Salt Lake and Yiliping Salt Lake were located in the same secondary basin during the late Pleistocene. However, tectonic activity around 40 ka led to the evolution of Yiliping Salt Lake into an independent basin. East Taijnar Salt Lake and West Taijnar Salt Lake separated around 27 ka, and then deposited the lower salt layers until the Holocene. The substantial amount of detrital minerals that the Nalinggele River brought during the Holocene led to a brief desalination of East Taijnar Salt Lake. The upper salt layer was deposited in East Taijnar Salt Lake and West Taijnar Salt Lake during this period due to the extremely dry climate.

The main objective of this study was to explore the composition and distribution of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and the factors that affect their distribution in the salt lake sediments. Thirteen sediment samples were collected from a depth profile in the East Taijinar Lake, China. VOCs of different samples were extracted by headspace solid phase microextraction. Gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction were used to analyze the VOCs, n-alkanes, and minerals present in samples. Thirty-four VOCs were identified and classified into seven types, including terpenes, furans, esters, aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, and acids, apart from six contaminants. It was found that 24 of the most prevalent compounds in clay were on average 101.45% higher than those in sandstone and halite because of the sedimentary environment, while the remaining ten (2-acetylfuran, 2-pinene D, etc.) were on average 13.27% higher in sandstone and halite sediments than in clay. This can be attributed to their different biological sources, porosity, and higher salinity. Based on the Q-cluster analysis, the 13 sediment samples were split into two groups, including the group according to composition and the group based on distribution of VOCs. In this study, it was found that the VOCs correlate positively with detrital minerals, with Group I exhibiting a high content of detrital minerals (>25%), while Group II showed the opposite characteristics. The consumption of organic matter (OM) by microorganisms leads to the formation of VOCs in sediment. The values of carbon preference index and n-alkane further demonstrate that the organic matter of the two groups came from different sources, exogenous and endogenous. Pr/Ph ratios, Pr/C17, and Pr/C18 also suggest that the OM in all sediments was strongly affected by microorganisms in an anoxic environment. Together, these results demonstrate that the OM from different biological sources and microbial activities played a critical role in deciding the composition and distribution of VOCs in the sediment. This study also shows that the proportion of VOCs in halite was discernably higher than that in clay and sandstone and that the content of VOCs should be considered when studying OM in salt lake sediments.

Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH) is very toxic and hard to decompose in traditional ways. In this paper, the gasification of unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH) in supercritical water was studied in a batch reactor under different conditions. The hydrogen production process of supercritical water gasification of UDMH in metal containers is a multiphase reaction process. The effects of reaction temperature, alkaline catalysts, residence time, and oxidation on gasification were systematically studied. COD and ammonia nitrogen of the residual liquid were tested. Results showed that the maximum molar fraction and yield of hydrogen were 87.0% and 97.9 mol/kg, respectively, with KOH at 600 °C, 23 MPa. The COD removal efficiency in relation to alkaline catalysts was in the following order: NaOH > Na2CO3 > KOH > K2CO3. The highest COD removal efficiency (up to 95%) can be obtained at the temperature of 600 °C, 23 MPa with NaOH as the catalyst, and a residence time of 20 min. Ammonia nitrogen can be decreased by adding an oxidant. The COD and ammonia nitrogen of the residual liquid can meet the requirement of the Chinese emission standard of water pollution for space propellants. In addition, the organic compounds formed under different conditions were also identified.

In this study, a mathematical model of hydrogen production from glycerol gasification in supercritical water was established based on the CFD-DEM method. The fluidization process of a supercritical water fluidized bed and the effects of bed height and feed structure on particle distribution and residence time of feedstock were analyzed. Additionally, the temperature field in the fluidized bed, the reaction rate distribution of each reaction and the influence of wall temperature on gas yields were also studied. The simulation results show that the bubble channel is easy to form along the wall at one side of the feed inlet. When the initial bed height is high, and the double symmetric feed inlet structure is used, the residence time of the feedstock is prolonged. The pyrolysis of glycerol mainly occurs in the middle and lower part of the fluidized bed reactor, and the reaction rate of the water gas shift reaction and methanation reaction are highest near the outlet, and a high wall temperature is conducive to the glycerol gasification.

The high noise levels of high-rate Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) solutions limit their seismological applications, including capturing earthquake-induced coseismic displacements. In this study, we developed a new adaptive denoising approach for high-rate GNSS observations to improve the precision of seismic displacements and preserve seismic waveforms in GNSS coseismic signals. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated using high-rate (5 Hz) GNSS data acquired from the moderate EI Mayor-Cucapah earthquake (Mw 7.2) on 4 April 2010 and the small Brawley seismic swarm (Mw 4.6-5.5) on 26 August 2012. The performance of the proposed method was compared with those of modified sidereal filtering, Stacking filtering, and MSF plus Stacking. The comparison showed that the proposed method is more precise than other widely used method. It can significantly remove high-frequency white noise and low-frequency colored noise caused by CME, multipath errors, and/or other unmodeled systematic errors in high-rate GNSS displacements. The results were also compared with collocated strong motion data (50 and 200 Hz). The high precision of the proposed method was mainly afforded by the high performance of complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition, which was used to decompose the GNSS signal into different frequency modes. However, the normalized autocorrelation function and correlation coefficients used to determine the noise-dominated high-frequency modes and the “wavelet-like” soft-threshold used for direct denoising of the noise-dominated high-frequency modes also contributed. Despite the high noise levels of GNSS solutions, especially regarding the vertical displacement components, some small-amplitude details, which are usually only detectable by seismic instruments, could be observed in the denoised displacements in this study. The results reported herein indicate that the proposed method significantly improves the precision and reliability of GNSS displacements and the effectiveness of seismic signal detection, which is particularly critical for the measurement of earthquake-induced coseismic displacements.

Dolostone is widely distributed and commonly used as concrete aggregates. A large number of studies have shown that there are significant differences in the expansibility of different dolostones, and the key factors determining the expansibility of alkali carbonate rocks have not been clarified. In this paper, rocks were selected from five different geological ages: Jixianian, Cambrian, Ordovician, Devonian, and Triassic ages. The ordering degree and the content of MgCO3 of dolomites in rocks of different geological ages were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The degree of dedolomitization reaction in rocks cured in 80 °C, 1 mol/L NaOH solution was determined by quantitative X-ray diffraction (QXRD). The morphology of dolomites in rocks was determined by a polarizing microscope. The products of the dedolomitization reaction were determined by field emission electron microscopy (FESEM-EDS). According to the test results, the following conclusions are drawn. There is a good positive correlation between ordering degree and the molar fraction of MgCO3 of dolomites. When the MgCO3 mole fraction of dolomites varies from 47.17% to 49.60%, the higher the MgCO3 mole fraction, the greater the ordering degree of dolomite. By analyzing the degree of the dedolomitization reaction of different dolostone powders cured at 80 °C in 1 mol/L NaOH solution, it is found that the older the geological age of dolostone, the slower the dedolomitization reaction rate and the lower the degree of dedolomitization reaction. The lower the ordering degree of dolomite crystal in the same geological age, the faster the rate of dedolomitization reaction and the higher the degree of dedolomitization reaction.

The main aim of this study was focused on the Method of testing alkali-carbonate reaction activity to avoid alkali-carbonate reaction damage. In this paper, the alkali-carbonate reaction activity and alkali-silica reaction activity of ten kinds of aggregates were determined and analysed by existing standards and methods, by making specimens with aggregates of 2.5–5 mm and 5–10 mm particle size, cured in 1 mol/L tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide solution at 60 °C and 80 °C. Tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide solution was used to exclude the expansion caused by alkali-silica reaction. Effects of aggregate particle size and curing temperature on the expansion of samples were systematically investigated to determine alkali-carbonate reactivity of aggregates. In order to explore the relationship between stress and strain of aggregates, these aggregates were prepared into compacted bodies to test their stress and try to discover the pattern. The results showed that the expansion of the mould specimen prepared by the aggregate of 5–10 mm particle size, cured in 1 mol/L tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide solution at 80 °C was greater than 0.1% after 42 days, which could be used as a reference criterion to determine the alkali-carbonate reaction activity of the aggregate. In addition, the expansion stress test suggest that the alkali-carbonate reaction can generate expansion stress. The expansion stress of aggregates with alkali-carbonate reaction activity were much larger than that of aggregates without alkali-carbonate reaction activity. Through SEM and EDX analysis of the products of the alkali-carbonate reaction, it was shown that the dolomite crystals in the dolomitic aggregates reacted with the TMAH solution and resulted in alkali-carbonate reaction, forming calcite and brucite.

At present, there are many problems in various tests when judging the alkali activity of aggregates. The most practical engineering concrete prism test (CPT) takes one year, and the concrete suppression method needs two years. The aim of this paper is to discuss inhibiting effectiveness of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) on alkali–silica reaction (ASR) expansion of concrete and evaluate this rapid test method. Three kinds of aggregates were selected by chemical analysis, XRD and petrographic analysis. The high alkali–silicic acid activity of three aggregates was determined by accelerated mortar bars, concrete microbars and CPT. The expansion of concrete specimens made of three kinds of aggregates was measured and analyzed by using the method of length measurement. By changing the curing temperature to 40 °C, 60 °C and 80 °C, the test period of CPT is accelerated. It proved that the expansion of CPT is larger at 60 °C and smaller at 40 °C. The inhibition test was also accelerated by adding different proportion of SCMs (fly ash or blast furnace slag) and adjusting the curing temperature to 60 °C and 80 °C. On this basis, the inhibition test was accelerated by changing NaOH solution instead of moist air curing. The test period of the accelerated inhibition test can be effectively shortened from two years to 4 months, The expansion trend of each parameter and specimen is evaluated, the evaluation cycle can be adjusted to 5–6 months. The microscopic reaction characteristics of concrete specimens were investigated by means of SEM. According to each parameter and criterion, the judging standard of concrete rapid test and rapid restraint test is given in this paper.
