This paper shows the development and control of a differential robot (unmanned vehicle) used to evade frontal obstacles utilizing Fuzzy editor in Matlab® software. This robot is capable of making accurate and precise decisions by employing Fuzzy Association Memory (FAM) rules. These decisions are based on the distance between the robot and the obstacle, with respect to the left, right, and frontal part of the robot. This type of robots can be applied in transportation, mainly to predetermined single routes, minimizing the run time due to a better decision-making process in taking the optimal route.
