This study investigated the effects of amygdalin (AMY, a cyanogenic glycoside widely distributed in the fruits and seeds of Rosaceae plants) on cardiac performance and ventricular remodeling in a rat model of myocardial infarction (MI). We also investigated whether the combination of AMY with exercise training (ExT) has a beneficial synergistic effect in treating MI rats. MI was induced by the ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery in male SD rats. ExT or AMY treatment was started 1 week after MI and continued for 1 week (short-term) or 8 weeks (long-term). Cardiac function was evaluated by echocardiographic and hemodynamic parameters. Heart tissues were harvested and subjected to 2,3,5-triphenyl-tetrazolium chloride, Masson's trichrome, hematoxylin-eosin, and immunohistochemical staining. Gene expression was determined by quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Western blot gave a qualitative assessment of protein levels. AMY or ExT improved cardiac function and reduced infarct size in MI rats. AMY or ExT also suppressed myocardial fibrosis and attenuated inflammation in the infarct border zone of hearts from MI rats, as evidenced by inhibition of collagen deposition, inflammatory cell infiltration, and pro-inflammatory markers (interleukin 1β, interleukin 6, tumor necrosis factor-α, and cyclooxygenase 2). Notably, the effects of AMY combined with ExT were superior to those of AMY alone or ExT alone. Mechanistically, these beneficial functions were correlated with the inhibition of MI-induced activation of the transforming growth factor-β/Smad pathway. Collectively, AMY and ExT exert a synergistic effect on improving cardiac performance and ameliorating cardiac inflammation and fibrosis after MI, and the effects of long-term intervention were better than short-term intervention. Chitosan, extenders anointed and in-situ synthesis method were used to synthesize anode-composite lead-carbon batteries.SEM, EDS, BET and RM were used to characterize and analyze the morphology of carbon materials.The results show that chitosan-carbon has non-crystal structures.Its pore size distribution is between 5-10nm.Specific surface area reaches to 487.4m2/g.The negative composite material electrode is mixed with a conductive agent to produce pastel.Pb-C analog battery was assembled.Electrochemical workstation is used to test chronoamperometry curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy so as to evaluate the possibility of in-situ synthesis anode composite material and its potential value of practical application.Electrochemical testing results show that the Pb-C negative plate,which is made by anode composite carbon material as the carbon source of in-situ synthesis of chitosan, possessing better electrochemical performance and smaller resistance.Its specific capacitance of cyclic voltammogram test is 162.9F/g with longer first discharge platform,the ultimate capacity reaches to 108.722mAh·g-1 when chitosan as carbon source, the specific capicity is 98% of the theoretical capacity. After 1000times of cycle there is almost no decay in capacity.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the growth and development of hybrid offspring of Yili goose and Holdobaji goose. The experiment analyzed the body weight and body size of hybrid offspring of 0~9 weeks of age Yili goose and Holdobaji goose, used Logistic model, Gompertz model and Bertalanffy model to fit and compare the body weight data of hybrid goose. The results showed that the skew length of gander at 2, 6 weeks of age was significantly higher than that of female goose (P<0.05), the skew length of gander at 4 weeks of age was extremely higher than that of female goose (P<0.01). The breast depth, hip bone width and keel length of gander at 2 weeks of age were extremely higher than those of female goose (P<0.01), and the chest width was significantly higher than that of female goose (P<0.05). The chest circumference, shin length and semi-diving length of gander at 2, 4 weeks of age was extremely higher than that of female goose (P<0.01). The shin length and semi-diving length of gander at 6 weeks of age were significantly higher than those of female goose (P<0.05). Shin girth of gander at 4 weeks of age was extremely higher than that of female goose (P<0.01), and shin girth of gander at 8 weeks of age was significantly higher than that of female goose (P<0.05). The growth rate of gander and female goose of hybrid offspring was slow from 0~3 weeks of age, the growth rate was accelerated after 3 weeks of age, and the growth peak was reached around 4~5 weeks of age. The study indicates that Bertalanffy model has the best fitting effect on gander and female crossbred goose by growth curve fitting analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To analyze the annual variation of CO2 absorption and release in Caotang River of Three Gorges Reservoir, this paper selected six sections from the Yangtze River and Caotang River between July 2017 and June 2018, and monitored CO2 emission at the water-gas interface using static closed chamber. The results are as follows: during the investigation, the variation rate of CO2 averaged 0.66-2.05 ppm/Min in Caotang River, and the number was 1.02 ppm/Min and 2.67 ppm/Min in Yangtze River. In November, CO2 in Caotang River experienced dramatic variation as it was released from the water body to the atmosphere. The highest release rate occurred at the CT02 section, which was up to 42.58ppm/min. From July to October of 2017, most sections of the river absorbed CO2 without a fixed pattern in space. From January to March of 2018, the absorption and release rate of CO2 slowed down, with its absolute value between 0.20-2.28 ppm/min. The release or absorption rate of CO2 from April to June was slightly higher than that from January to March.

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a coherent imaging radar. Hence, coherence is critical in SAR imaging. In a coherent system, several sources can degrade performance. Based on the HJ-1-C SAR system implementation and sensor characteristics, this study evaluates the effect of frequency stability and pulse-to-pulse timing jitter on the SAR coherent performance. A stable crystal oscillator with short-term stability of 10×1.0−10 / 5 ms is used to generate the reference frequency by using a direct multiplier and divider. Azimuth ISLR degradation owing to the crystal oscillator phase noise is negligible. The standard deviation of the pulse-to-pulse timing jitter of HJ-1-C SAR is lower than 2ns (rms) and the azimuth random phase error in the synthetic aperture time slightly degrades the side lobe of the azimuth impulse response. The mathematical expressions and simulation results are presented and suggest that the coherent performance of the HJ-1-C SAR system meets the requirements of synthetic aperture radar imaging.

This study primarily analyzed the response of cold tolerance and phenology periods of four pear cultivars to climate differences in central (Gongzhuling) and eastern (Longjing) Jilin, which could provide a theoretical basis for the regional division and cultivation. It showed that there was a significant difference in the cold tolerance of the same cultivars between the two regions. Soluble sugar and soluble starch contents are the most important physiological indicators that determine the cold tolerance of the pear cultivars in Gongzhuling is stronger than that in Longjing. In phenology, only the cessation of terminal shoot extension and growing season length of pear cultivars were significantly related to their contents of soluble sugar and soluble starch. Furthermore, the gray correlation analysis identified the district's effective accumulated temperature as the key meteorological factors affecting the cessation of terminal shoot extension. The precipitation in the growing season was another major meteorological factor affecting the growing season length. Therefore, in this study, the influence of the main district meteorological factors on the key phenology periods of four pear cultivars, which decided the different accumulation of sugar and starch, eventually lead to the difference in cold tolerance of the same pear cultivar in two regions.
