Background Heart rate variability (HRV) is commonly used to evaluate the short-term prognosis of coronary artery diseaseas a well-known non-invasive indicator of cardiac autonomic function. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a commonly usedsuigical treatment of coronary artery disease, however, major adverse cardiac event (MACE) such as malignant arrhythmias and recurrent myocardial infarction are common after suigical treatment. Although dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) can reduce the occurrence of MACE to a certain extent, it is prone to be complicated with gastrointestinal bleeding, and unable to consistently improve the prognosis of PCI. Ocular acupuncture can effectively reduce the duration and frequency of chest pain, and exercise therapy can enhance the function of heart and blood vessels. The application of ocular acupuncture and exercise combination therapy (OAECT) after PCI remains to be explored. Objective To investigate the effect of OAECT on postoperative heart rate variability and prognosis of patients treated with PCI. Methods A total of 32 CHD patients after PCI with moderate and low risk attending Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into the OAECT group and drug treatment group in a 1∶1 allocation ratio. Patients in the OAECT group received OAECT in addition to DAPT, patients in the drug treatment group received DAPT alone, patients in both 2 groups completed the 2-week intervention. The data of patients was collectedas follows: (1) Baseline indicators: gender, age, height, weight, blood pressure, respiratory rate, interval between onset and intervention, education level, occupation, severity of coronary artery disease, and number of underlying diseases. (2) Main indicators: HRV within 24 h after PCI and on the day of the end of 2-week intervention, including the standard deviation of all normal to normal RR intervals (SDNN) , standard deviation of all 5-minute RR intervals (SDANN) , mean of the standard deviation of all NN intervals for all 5-min segment of 24 hours (SDNN index) , root mean square of difference between adjacent NN intervals (rMSSD) , percent of NN50 in the total number of NN intervals (PNN50) , high frequency (HF) , low frequency (LF) low frequency/high frequency (LF/HF) values. Prognosis at 2, 4, and 8 weeks after the intervention assessed by MACE, including cardiac or all-cause deaths, malignant arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation, severe heart failure, recurrent myocardial infarction, repeat PCI and chest pain recorded by telephone and outpatient consultations. (3) Secondary indicators: C-reactive protein (CRP) , N-terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) , creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) , high-sensitivity troponin I (hs-TnI) . (4) Safety indicators: the occurrence of complications after PCI such as subcutaneous hematoma, skin lesions, muscle soreness, respiratory abnormalities and stroke, all the outcome indicators were measured within 24 hours after PCI and on the day of the end of 2-week intervention. Results There was no significant difference in LF/HF, SDNN, SDANN, SDNN index, LF, HF, RMSSD and PNN50 between the 2 groups (P>0.05) . The miniature sensor devices and power-efficient Body Area Networks (BANs) for Human Activity Recognition (HAR) have gained increasing interest in different fields, including Daily Life Assistants (DLAs), medical treatment, sports analysis, etc. The HAR systems normally collect data with wearable sensors and implement the computational tasks with a host machine, where real-time transmission and processing of sensor data raise a challenge for both the network and the host machine. This investigation focuses on the hardware/software co-design for optimized sensing and computing of wearable HAR sensor networks. The contributions include (1) design of a miniature wearable sensor node integrating a Micro-Electro-Mechanical System Inertial Measurement Unit (MEMS IMU) with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in-built Micro-Control Unit (MCU) for unobtrusive wearable sensing; (2) task-centric optimization of the computation by shifting data pre-processing and feature extraction to sensor nodes for in-situ computing, which reduces data transmission and relieves the load of the host machine; (3) optimization and evaluation of classification algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization-based Support Vector Machine (PSO-SVM) and Cross Validation-based K-Nearest Neighbors (CV-KNN) for HAR with the presented techniques. Finally, experimental studies were conducted with two sensor nodes worn on the wrist and elbow to verify the effectiveness of the recognition of 10 virtual handwriting activities, where 10 recruited participants each repeated an activity 5 times. The results demonstrate that the proposed system can implement HAR tasks effectively with an accuracy of 99.20 %.

Zinc‐based aqueous batteries (ZABs) are attracting extensive attention due to the low cost, high capacity, and environmental benignity of the zinc anode. However, their application is still hindered by the undesired zinc dendrites. Despite Zn‐surface modification being promising in relieving dendrites, a thick separator (i.e. glass fiber, 250–700 μm) is still required to resist the dendrite puncture, which limits volumetric energy density of battery. Here, we pivot from the traditional interphase plus extra separator categories, proposing an all‐in‐one ligand buffer layer (ca. 20 μm) to effectively modulate the Zn2+ transfer and deposition behaviors proved by in situ electrochemical digital holography. Experimental characterizations and density functional theory simulations further reveal that the catechol groups in the buffer layer can accelerate the Zn2+ reduction reaction (ZRR) through the electron‐donating p‐π conjugation effect, decreasing the negative charge in the coordination environment. Without extra separators, the elaborated system endows low polarization below 28.2 mV, long lifespan of 4950 h at 5 mA cm−2 in symmetric batteries, and an unprecedented volumetric energy density of 99.2 Wh L−1 based on the whole pouch cells. The concomitantly "separator‐free" and "dendrite‐free" conjugation effect with an accelerated ZRR process could foster the progression of metallic anodes and benefit energetic aqueous batteries. The empty-space subsequent filling mining method is the main mining scheme for underground metal mines to achieve large-scale mechanized mining. The stage height, one of the main parameters of this method, affects the various production process aspects of the mine and influences the stability of the goaf. In order to determine the stage height scientifically and rationally in the empty-space subsequent filling mining method, a formula for the stabilized critical safe height of a high goaf in an underground metal mine was derived based on Pu's arch equilibrium theory, Bieniawski's pillar strength limit theory, and the Kastner equation and combined with the results of an orthogonal analysis to rank the importance of the main factors in the formula. A copper mine in Jiangxi Province was used as a case study, with the reliability of the formula verified by numerical simulation and industrial testing. The factors in the formula influencing the critical stabilized safe height of the goaf were, in descending order, the compressive strength of the rock body, the width of the two-step mining pillar, the width of the one-step mining room, the mining height, and the depth of mining. Based on the calculation results, the recommended stage heights are 30 m (−378 m middle section) and 25 m (−478 m middle section) in the area of poor rock body stability and 50 m in the area of better rock body stability. The simulation results show that the goaf is significantly affected by the compressive stress under the condition of a certain rock body stability and that the compressive stress increases with increasing goaf height. The minimum recommended values of the sidewall safety coefficients in areas of poor and better rock stability are 1.04 and 1.06, respectively. The volume deviation coefficients of the three industrial test mines were all controlled within 3%, indicating that no obvious collapse and destabilization phenomenon occurred in the goaf. Transient structures play a wide range of vital roles in biological systems. Different from static structures that form the skeleton of bio‐tissues, transient structures only occur at certain spatial and temporal scales to undertake their duties in the life circle. Despite the significant progress in the field of artificial molecular self‐assembly studies, it still remains challenging to construct functional transient structures. Herein, the shaping of transient coordinating self‐assembled structures and their fluorescence is reported via host‐guest interaction that disfavors the assembly. The host‐guest interaction between the luminescent ligand and cyclodextrin drastically changes the kinetics of the coordinating self‐assembly, enabling the formation of transient structures. Different from the static equilibrium one with typical monomer emission in the UV region, the transient self‐assembly forms excimers, leading to visible emission. More intriguingly, the life cycle of the transient structures can be easily modulated by varying the host‐guest ratio, ligand‐metal ratio, as well as temperature. This makes it possible to create living patterns that mimic the growth of plants at different life stages. It is therefore envisioned that the creation of transient molecular self‐assembly will open a new paradigm in the field of molecular self‐assembly featuring advanced materials with dynamic functions.
