In this study, laser Directed Energy Deposition technology is employed to fabricate internal structures within the hollow interiors of rotating parts such as tubes and cylinders. A three-dimensional transient multiphysics model for C276 material was developed, which anticipated the impact of angular velocity from tube rotation on various aspects. This model, validated by experiments, focused on the melt pool morphology, Marangoni convection, oriented crystal microevolution, and deposited material microhardness. It was found that at 150 ms deposition, the dimensions of the melt pool stabilized. With an increase in the Peclet number, heat transfer within the melt pool transitioned from conduction to convection. A rise in angular velocity reduced the melt pool deposition height, limited by the volume of the deposited material. Additionally, this angular velocity generated tangential forces, leading to an asymmetric melt distribution in the longitudinal section of the melt pool and a movement of the melt toward the melting front. At the bottom of the melt pool, the growth of C276 columnar crystals was notably inclined toward the center of Marangoni convection. The microhardness of the deposited material showed a stable distribution along the inclined crystal direction, whereas significant fluctuations were observed perpendicular to the cylinder substrate. For the development of electrolyte additives as an effective strategy to improve the performance of zinc‐ion batteries (ZIBs), most researchers focus on the functional groups but overlook the crucial molecular configuration. Herein, six stereoisomers of 2,3,4,5‐tetrahydroxyvaleraldehyde with identical groups but various spatial arrangements are studied as the electrolyte additive in ZIBs. Based on the experimental analysis and theoretical calculations, the adsorption with Zn (002) plane is found to be an important dominant for the stereoisomer to enhance the Zn anode performance. Among these stereoisomers, D‐Arabinose with preferential and strongest chemisorption effect modifies the anode/electrolyte interface most effectively, leading to the highest stability and reversibility of the Zn anode. The adsorbed D‐Arabinose shows multifunctional effects at the interface, which not only regulates the Zn2+ solvation structure and reconfigures the hydrogen bond framework, but also facilitates uniform Zn2+ deposition by promoting 3D Zn2+ diffusion and homogenizing the electric field. Therefore, with the D‐Arabinose additive in ZnSO4 electrolyte, the undesired Zn dendrite growth and side reactions including hydrogen evolution reaction, corrosion, and passivation are significantly limited during the Zn plating/stripping processes. The brown-eared bulbul (Hypsipetes amaurotis) is a medium-sized songbird native to East Asia and characterized by its prominent reddish-brown ear-coverts. Previous studies on it have primarily been from the taxonomic and morphological aspects, with limited research in the realm of molecular biology. In this study, we sequenced and annotated the complete mitochondrial genome of H. amaurotis, which was the first reported complete mitogenome of the genus Hypsipetes. The mitogenome of H. amaurotis is 17,871 bp in length and was predicted to encode 37 typical mitochondrial genes, including 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNA genes (tRNAs), two ribosomal RNA genes (rRNAs). Specifically, this mitogenome contains two D-loop control regions that are of similar length and sequencing pattern. A total of 8 Pycnonotidae and six outgroup taxa were used to determine the phylogenetic placement with two methods: Maximum Likelihood Approximation (IQ-TREE) and Bayesian inference (MrBayes). Our findings reveal that H. amaurotis is phylogenetically closely related to Ixos mcclellandii. The outcomes are generally consistent with the phylogenetic trees constructed in previous studies. The data gathered from this research provides valuable insights for future genomic investigations into the evolution, ecology, and conservation of this species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: Unmet supportive care needs are associated with psychological symptoms such as depression and anxiety. However, so far, few studies have explored the protective psychological factors of unmet needs. Therefore, this study intends to explore the protective effect of self‐compassion on unmet needs of Chinese cancer patients and to examine the predictive role of self‐compassion on these needs during treatment. Methods: A longitudinal study was performed at Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital in Xi'an, China. A total of 153 heterogeneous cancer patients were assessed after the first diagnosis (T1), at the beginning (T2) and end (T3) of medical treatment. Hierarchical linear regression analyses were used to examine the research questions. Results: Cross‐sectional regression analyses showed that self‐compassion at T1 was significantly related to psychological needs at T1. Negative self‐compassion at T1 was significantly related to total unmet needs, psychological needs, health system, and information and sexual needs. Longitudinal regression analyses showed that self‐compassion at T1 significantly predicted total unmet needs; health system and information (HSI) needs at T2, psychological needs at T3, and negative self‐compassion at T1 significantly predicted total unmet needs, HSI needs, physical needs, and patient care needs at T2 when controlling for unmet needs at T1. Positive self‐compassion was not a predictor of unmet needs. Conclusions: Self‐compassion can be a protective factor of unmet needs in cancer patients. Future intervention studies should focus on improving the overall level of self‐compassion and reducing the level of negative self‐compassion in cancer patients to reduce patients' unmet needs.
