Objective To explore the psychological experience and needs of female caregivers of stroke patients in rehabilitation period. Methods The phenomenological research method was used to conduct semi-structured interviews with 12 female caregivers of stroke patients. Results Based on the real experience of female caregivers during stroke rehabilitation period, four themes were extracted, including imbalance in physical and mental health, coping with multiple roles, insufficient of nursing information acquisition and lack of social support. Conclusion The feelings of female caregivers of patients in stroke rehabilitation stage are multi-dimensional, suggesting that we should pay attention to the mental health of female caregivers and guide them to seek positive coping styles, so as to provide better care for the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Understanding the history of sea‐level changes in the past and the associated mechanisms is crucial for predicting sea level in the future. The South China Sea is the largest semi‐enclosed marginal sea in the western tropical Pacific. Previous studies showed that this region experienced several sea‐level fluctuations up to half a meter on centennial timescales ∼7,000 cal yr BP. These fluctuations were greater in magnitude than the rise in global mean sea level induced by greenhouse effect over the 20th century. However, whether such sea‐level fluctuations occurred in a wider temporal context and their potential causes remain unclear. To answer these questions, we reconstructed the mid‐Holocene sea‐level fluctuations in the northern South China Sea using nine coral microatoll fossils collected from Hainan Island. The results suggest that sea‐level fluctuations with amplitude of about half a meter on centennial timescales were common during 6,143–4,384 cal yr BP. Based on recent studies of sea‐level driving mechanisms in the South China Sea and paleoclimate reconstructions, we infer that these sea‐level fluctuations were likely driven by changes of Walker circulation intensity. Due to the internal variability of the climate system, the possibility of similar sea‐level fluctuations in the foreseeable future cannot be ruled out. Purpose: Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is a malformation of cortical development that often causes pharmacologically intractable epilepsy. However, FCD lesions are frequently characterized by minor structural abnormalities that can easily go unrecognized, making diagnosis difficult. Therefore, many epileptic patients have had pathologically confirmed FCD lesions that appeared normal in pre‐surgical fluid‐attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) magnetic resonance (MR) studies. Such lesions are called "FLAIR‐negative." This study aimed to improve the detection of histopathologically verified FCD in a sample of patients without visually appreciable lesions. Methods: The technique first extracts a series of features from a FLAIR image. Then, three naive Bayesian classifiers with probability (NBCP) are trained based on different numbers of feature maps to classify voxels as lesional or healthy voxels and assign the lesions a probability of correct classification. This method classifies the three‐dimensional (3D) images of all patients using leave‐one‐out cross‐validation (LOOCV). Finally, the 3D lesion probability map, including epileptogenic lesions, is obtained by removing false‐positive voxel outliers using the morphological method. The performance of the NBCP was assessed for quantitative analysis by specificity, accuracy, recall, precision, and Dice coefficient in subject‐wise, lesion‐wise, and voxel‐wise manners. Results: The best detection results were obtained by using four features: cortical thickness, symmetry, K‐means, and modified texture energy. There were eight lesions in seven patients. The subject‐wise sensitivity of the proposed method was 85.71% (6/7). Seven out of eight lesions were detected, so the lesion‐wise sensitivity was 87.50% (7/8). No significant differences in effectiveness were found between automated lesion detection using four features and lesion detection using manual segmentation, as voxels were quantitatively analyzed in terms of specificity (mean ± SD = 99.64 ± 0.13), accuracy (mean ± SD = 99.62 ± 0.14), recall (mean ± SD = 73.27 ± 26.11), precision (mean ± SD = 11.93 ± 8.16), and Dice coefficient (mean ± SD = 22.82 ± 15.57). Conclusion: We developed a novel automatic voxel‐based method to improve the detection of FCD FLAIR‐negative lesions. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to detect FCD lesions that appear normal in pre‐surgical 3D high‐resolution FLAIR images alone with a limited number of radiomics features. We optimized the algorithm and selected the best prior probability to improve the detection. Accurate and rapid taxonomic classifications are essential for systematically exploring organisms and metabolites in diverse environments. Many tools have been developed for biological taxonomic trees, but limitations apply, and a streamlined method for constructing chemical taxonomic trees is notably absent. We present the iPhylo suite (https://www.iphylo.net/), a comprehensive, automated, and interactive platform for biological and chemical taxonomic analysis. The iPhylo suite features web-based modules for the interactive construction and annotation of taxonomic trees and a stand-alone command-line interface (CLI) for local operation or deployment on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. iPhylo supports National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) taxonomy for biologicals and ChemOnt and NPClassifier for chemical classifications. The iPhylo visualization module, fully implemented in R, allows users to save progress locally and customize the underlying R code. Finally, the CLI module facilitates analysis across all hierarchical relational databases. We showcase the iPhylo suite's capabilities for visualizing environmental microbiomes, analyzing gut microbial metabolite synthesis preferences, and discovering novel correlations between microbiome and metabolome in humans and environment.
