AIM: To investigate the effect of different lens combinations on visual acuity, visual quality and patient satisfaction by comparing mixed implantation of Tecnis Symfony ZXR00(ZXR00)and Tecnis ZMB00(ZMB00)lenses, bilateral implantation of ZMB00 lenses, and bilateral implantation of ZXR00 lenses.METHODS:This retrospective case-control study included 117 patients with cataracts(234 eyes)who underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens(IOLs)implantation from August 2020 to December 2021. The 3 groups included 36 patients(72 eyes)who underwent bilateral implantation of ZXR00(RR group), 37 patients(74 eyes)who underwent bilateral implantation of ZMB00(MM group), and 44 patients(88 eyes)who underwent implantation with a combination of ZXR00 and ZMB00(MR group). The uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA, 5 m), uncorrected intermediate visual acuity(UIVA, 80 cm), uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA, 40 cm), corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA), defocus curve, stereopsis and VF-14 and QoV visual quality scale of the patients in the three groups were assessed at 3-month follow-up.RESULTS:Bilateral UNVA in the MM and MR group were significantly better than that in the RR group(P0.05). Values for near-stereoscopic acuity at 40 cm were 107.27±80.53, 105.67±83.79, and 108.69±97.66(20-400)arcsec in the MR, MM, and RR groups, respectively(P>0.05). Satisfaction rates exceeded 90% in all groups.CONCLUSION:All groups achieved good distance, intermediate, and near visual acuity and near-stereoscopic vision postoperatively. Mixed implantation with ZXR00 and ZMB00 lenses achieved excellent full-range vision and resulted in high satisfaction. These results may aid in developing individualized clinical treatment plans.

To realize power dispatch and equilibrium in DC distribution networks, a distributed adaptive coordinated control strategy is proposed. Based on the consistency theory, photovoltaics, energy storage and other units in the network can be considered as the same nodes involved in control, where power deviation and equalization coefficient are chosen as state variables in each node. By the interaction and iteration among adjacent nodes, each node can adaptively adjust the operation state according to the dispatching command. On the premise of effectively accepting the real-time dispatching command and optimal control of energy storage, the regulation ability of distributed power supply is fully utilized to suppress the power imbalance of internal load in the system. Meanwhile, the power provided by each distributed source is proportional to its rated capacity under different operating scenarios by adjusting the power reference, and the the prediction the output of each distributed sources is not required. When each individual distributed power supply loses its adjustment ability, the balance of utilization rate of other units can still be ensured. Simulation results under various scenarios verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

The vertical well inclinometer is widely used in downhole data measurement, wherein the mud pulse generator used for data transmission has substantial significance to the accuracy and stability of data. For this instrument, the performance of its mud pulse generator valve head is the key to ensure the efficient, accurate and complete transmission of downhole data. Firstly, the structure of pulse generator in the vertical well inclinometer is described, followed by the presentation of the physical and theoretical model of pulse generator valve head. Based on the erosion theories and thin-wall hole throttling model, the main parameters that affect the performance of pulse generator valve head are determined, including the throttling hole slot angle α and the valve head angle β. Secondly, with using the discrete phase model（DPM）, the influences of throttle slot angle α and valve head angle β on the flow field characteristics near the valve head and the pressure distribution of the valve head are investigated. In terms of the simulation, an optimized parameter set of the valve head is α=25°and β=45°. Finally, valve heads with optimized parameters are tested in a certain well of Dixi, showing a good accuracy with the numerical simulation with comparing the results before optimization.

According to the needs of the urban rail train connection between the drive motor and gearbox, a toothed coupling for urban rail trains is designed. During the design process, the structure of the toothed coupling, gear geometry parameters, the sealing structure, theoretical calculation of tooth flank backlash, the space motion analysis and so on are studied. Through the establishment of a three-dimensional model of the toothed coupling and based on the calculation software of Ansys, a finite element analysis of three operating conditions of the toothed coupling and the calculation and analysis of gear strength using ZGCAD gear software are carried out, a prototype of toothed coupling is designed and manufactured, and the periodic cycle test of the prototype is carried out. The research results can provide reference for the design of toothed coupling in other fields.

ObjectiveTo provide the scientific basis for prevention of such incidents， a foodborne disease outbreak in school caused by Salmonella enteritidis was investigated and the risk factors was traced.MethodsDescriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the characteristics of the incident. Case-control studies were used to investigate the suspected food. Environmental hygiene investigations were used to trace the process of food contamination， and pathogen isolation， serotyping analysis， and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis （PFGE） were used to detect and analyze the Salmonella enteritidis isolated from the patients， food and environmental samples.ResultsA total of 71 patients were reported in this outbreak， and the epidemic curves were consistent with a sustained homologous outbreak pattern. The case-control study， environmental health survey and etiology study suggested that sandwiches sold in the school supermarket were the etiological food for this incident （OR=302.09， 95%CI=75.18~1 213.97）. Salmonella isolates from 8 samples （12.70%， 8/63） collected from patients， food and environmental were detected， and their PFGE profile were identical， confirming that the salad dressing used in the cause-food sandwich was contaminated with Salmonella during the preparation process， which led to this foodborne illness outbreak.ConclusionThis outbreak was caused by sandwiches contaminated by Salmonella enteritidis， and the sandwiches were contaminated by homemade salad dressing. It is suggested that all foods containing raw egg ingredients that have not been adequately heat-treated should be banned from schools， and that the relevant administrative departments should strengthen sanitary supervision of such foods.

When the upper part of a high gas coal seam has hard and thick sandstone roof, the gas explosion accident in goaf is even caused by roof collapse. Taking the mining of 1007 working face of 10 coal seam under Xia KuoTan Coal Mine as the engineering background, using the method of indoor experiment and theoretical analysis, the possibility of rock friction effect igniting gas is studied. Under the engineering geological conditions, the results show that the heat produced by the friction process of hard sandstone can ignite gas. According to the 3DEC numerical simulation, the instability characteristics of the overburden hard rock are studied. The results show that the size of the slab instability area is not changed when the length of the working face increases. When the thickness of the roof is increased, the area of sliding instability is increased and the degree of sliding instability is more intense. At the boundary of the tunnel, the overlying strata are subjected to the largest shear stress, and it tends to form a friction surface with greater slip instability.

Renewable energy has typical intermittent characteristics, strong random fluctuation of output, and insufficient support capacity at peak load. Therefore, the power supply guarantee of high proportion of renewable energy power system is facing severe challenges. Renewable energy allocation and energy storage can solve the problem of random volatility of renewable energy to a certain extent. In this context, based on the operation mechanism of electrochemical energy storage, this paper establishes the Renewable energy + Energy storage operation optimization model considering the operation safety characteristics of electrochemical energy storage. In order to provide technical support for the planning and construction of related enterprises, the paper explores the effectiveness of large-scale renewable energy configuration of electrochemical energy storage, and analyzes the impact of different energy storage operation modes which is solved by CPLEX. The results indicate that renewable energy configuration energy storage can improve its confidence capacity and reduce the peak valley difference rate of net load, but the specific effect is closely related to the operation mode of energy storage.

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Due to the wide use of tigecycline in the treatment of severe infections caused by multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria, clinical resistance to tigecycline has increased in recent years. Here, we investigated the relationship between tigecycline resistance and the expression of efflux pumps. METHODS: Clinical isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae were consecutively collected from hospitalized patients in three hospitals. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of tigecycline was determined using the broth microdilution method. Expression levels of efflux pump genes and regulators were examined by quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The correlations between tigecycline MICs and gene expression levels were analyzed. RESULTS: Overall, 1,026 A. baumannii and 725 K. pneumoniae strains were collected. Most strains were isolated from sputum. The tigecycline resistance rate was 13.4% in A. baumannii isolates and 6.5% in K. pneumoniae isolates. Overexpression of AdeABC and AcrAB-TolC efflux systems was observed found in clinical tigecycline-resistant isolates. The tigecycline MIC had a linear relationship with the adeB expression level in A. baumannii isolates, but not with the acrB expression level in K. pneumoniae isolates. There were significant linear trends in the overexpression of ramA as the tigecycline MIC increased in K. pneumoniae isolates. CONCLUSIONS: Tigecycline resistance in A. baumannii and K. pneumoniae was strongly associated with the overexpression of efflux systems. More studies are needed to elucidate whether there are other regulators that affect the expression of adeB in A. baumannii and how ramA affects the expression of acrB in K. pneumoniae.

Abstract Background Cancers arise through an evolutionary process in which cell populations are subjected to selection; however, to date, the process of bladder cancer, which is one of the most common cancers in the world, remains unknown at a single-cell level. Results We carried out single-cell exome sequencing of 66 individual tumor cells from a muscle-invasive bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Analyses of the somatic mutant allele frequency spectrum and clonal structure revealed that the tumor cells were derived from a single ancestral cell, but that subsequent evolution occurred, leading to two distinct tumor cell subpopulations. By analyzing recurrently mutant genes in an additional cohort of 99 TCC tumors, we identified genes that might play roles in the maintenance of the ancestral clone and in the muscle-invasive capability of subclones of this bladder cancer, respectively. Conclusions This work provides a new approach of investigating the genetic details of bladder tumoral changes at the single-cell level and a new method for assessing bladder cancer evolution at a cell-population level.

This paper studies the fuzzy $ H_\infty $ H ∞ control of nonlinear DC microgrids subject to the dynamic event-triggered mechanism (ETM), aperiodic DoS attacks, noises and mismatching premises. First, using the information of DC microgrid's T-S fuzzy model and aperiodic DoS attacks, a discrete-time resilient dynamic ETM is proposed, which can save constrained system resources, as well as actively exclude attack-induced dropouts and Zeno behaviour. Second, a fuzzy switched system model is built, which provides a unified platform to evaluate effects of all the affecting factors such as the dynamic ETM and DoS attacks. Third, by constructing a piecewise Lyapunov functional, criteria for exponential stability with guaranteed $ H_\infty $ H ∞ performance are obtained, and an event-triggered fuzzy injection current controller is further designed. Simulation results confirm that, in the presence of aperiodic DoS attacks and noises, the proposed controller can stabilise the nonlinear DC microgrids, while the dynamic ETM works well in reducing the triggering rate without dropouts. Tradeoffs can be made between control and communication resources, and the proposed fuzzy controller achieves shorter settling times and smaller overshoots than the robust controller. AI analyzes fundus images for age-related macular degeneration (AMD) diagnosis and risk prediction. Additionally, AI quantifies and grades vitreous opacities in uveitis. For retinopathy of prematurity, AI facilitates disease classification, predicting disease occurrence and severity. Recently, AI also predicts systemic diseases by analyzing fundus vascular changes.AI has been extensively used in diagnosing, following up, and predicting treatment outcomes for common blinding eye diseases. Despite significant advances in perovskite solar cells (PeSCs), the operational instability and susceptibility to Pb leakage of PeSCs severely limit their widespread application. To address these issues, this study investigates the effect of doping the Spiro‐OMeTAD hole‐transporting layer (HTL) with a chemically‐modified 2D conjugated covalent organic framework (Tp‐Azo‐COF) on the photovoltaic performance and stability of PeSCs. Enriched with abundant carbonyl (C═O) groups and azo (N═N) nodes, Tp‐Azo‐COF has excellent chelation and adsorption capabilities, and experimental results confirm that Tp‐Azo‐COF effectively decreases Pb leakage and Li‐ion migration, improving the environmental safety and operational stability of PeSCs. The optimized PeSCs (0.12 cm2) exhibit an efficiency of 24.25%, a new benchmark for COF‐modified devices, and maintain robust performance in large‐area modules (18 cm2) with an efficiency of 21.96%. Under accelerated aging tests, including continuous light irradiation at maximum power point tracking for 980 h, the module demonstrated exceptional durability, with near‐100% efficiency retention. The COF doping strategy developed in this study significantly enhances operational stability and minimizes Pb leakage in PeSCs, paving the way for the sustainable, large‐scale deployment of perovskite photovoltaics.
