The incidence of lumbar disc herniation (LDH) is increasing gradually. Surgical treatment combined with TCM physiotherapy can effectively relieve the pain of LDH patients. This paper summarized perioperative nursing management in a patient undergoing LDH surgery. Nursing intervention was mainly divided into two stages: Routine nursing measures were carried out in the preoperative stage; a comprehensive nursing plan with targeted nursing interventions was made after patient condition analysis. The aim of comprehensive nursing plan was to enhance the stability of spine and lumbar muscles and reduce the risk of complications. This paper summarized the postoperative nursing management of a child with spastic cerebral palsy. The child received selective posterior rhizotomy followed by preoperative examination and preparation. In addition to the interventions on postoperative pain, constipation and infection, a rehabilitation exercise program was carried out to improve the comprehensive recovery of the child after surgery. Adhesive hydrogels have been applied in biomedical field as an alternative to surgical sutures. However, there still exist rigorous challenges in rough underwater adhesion and asymmetric adhesion of hydrogels, especially applied in wound healing and organ repair in vivo. Herein, a strategy is proposed to prepare integrated hydrogels with asymmetric underwater adhesion capability by forming the asymmetric electrical interface under an electrostatic field. The synergistic effects between catechol and amine and complex coacervation are used to improve the underwater adhesion of hydrogel. Furthermore, by applying an electrostatic field, the cations and anions in solution of monomers are separated to form asymmetric adhesion interfaces. The hydrogel exhibits obvious asymmetric underwater adhesion ability on porcine skin with a strong adhesive strength of 97 kPa on cation side and 25 kPa on the anion side. Animal experiment outcomes reveal that only one side of the asymmetric hydrogel could adhere firmly to the rat liver and the rabbit stomach, while the other side could not effectively prevent postoperative tissue adhesion. The asymmetric distribution of adhesive molecules induced by electrostatic fields will provide a new alternative for designing and adjusting asymmetric adhesives after surgery. Precast concrete segmental bridges (PCSBs) with hybrid tendons may be the most competitive solution for achieving the advantages of rapid construction and favorable structural performance. Therefore, the flexural behavior of precast concrete segmental bridges (PCSBs) with unbonded tendons and epoxy joints was experimentally investigated in this study, and the effects of the joint types were recorded. Investigations were carried out on the ultimate loads, prestressed strand stresses, deflections, as well as failure modes, while an unbonded monolithic beam was tested for comparison. In addition, the strain measurement proved that the average strains agree with the assumption of plane section, regardless of whether the joints were set. The flexural strengths of prefabricated components were 9~15% lower than those of the monolithic beams with unbonded tendons. Meanwhile, the shape of the joints also influenced the flexural bearing capacity; the bearing capacity of the dual-tooth joint beam was 4.5% lower than that of the single-tooth one, and the bearing capacity of the flat butt joint member was 5.7% lower than that of the dual-tooth joint beam. Moreover, the experimental deflection curve and ultimate bearing capacity of the models with different shear keys showed a good correlation with the FE results. The adhesion bonding strength between bridge deck and asphalt pavement is tested with three waterproof materials, namely SBS modified emulsified asphalt, SBR modified emulsified asphalt and waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt. The influence of curing temperature, besmear brush times, asphalt curing time, binder type and curing time on test results was analyzed. The test results show that: to improve test efficiency, adhesion bonding strength specimen forming method can be taken to brush 1 time: SBS and SBR modified emulsified asphalt were cured at room temperature for 3 d, waterborne epoxy asphalt was cured for 7 d: the pullout block was bonded with α-cyanoacrylate glue and cured at room temperature for 2 h. Iron-sulphur (Fe-S) cluster assembly occurs in chloroplasts, mitochondria and cytosol, involving dozens of genes in higher plants. In this study, we have identified 41 putative Fe-S cluster assembly genes in rice ( Oryza sativa) genome, and the expression of all genes was verified. To investigate the role of Fe-S cluster assembly as a metabolic pathway, we applied abiotic stresses to rice seedlings and analysed Fe-S cluster assembly gene expression by q RT- PCR. Our data showed that genes for Fe-S cluster assembly in chloroplasts of leaves are particularly sensitive to heavy metal treatments, and that Fe-S cluster assembly genes in roots were up-regulated in response to iron toxicity, oxidative stress and some heavy metal assault. The effect of each stress treatment on the Fe-S cluster assembly machinery demonstrated an unexpected tissue or organelle specificity, suggesting that the physiological relevance of the Fe-S cluster assembly is more complex than thought.
