Aquaculture pathogen and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) co-occur in the aquatic environment. Accumulated evidence suggests that aquaculture pathogens can facilitate the horizontal transfer of plasmid-mediated ARGs. However, the role of Edwardsiella piscicida (E. piscicida) in ARG dissemination is still not fully understood. In addition, the potential impact of triclosan (TCS) on the spread of ARGs mediated by E. piscicida is still unknown, so a mating model system was established to investigate the transfer process of ARGs. The results showed that E. piscicida disseminated ARGs on RP4 by horizontal gene transfer (HGT). Furthermore, TCS exposure promoted this process. The conjugative transfer frequencies were enhanced approximately 1.2-1.4-fold by TCS at concentrations from 2 to 20 μg/L, when compared with the control. TCS promoted the HGT of ARGs by stimulating reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, increasing cell membrane permeability, and altering expressions of conjugative transfer-associated genes. Together, the results suggested that aquaculture pathogens spread ARGs and that the emerging contaminant TCS enhanced the transfer of ARGs between bacteria.

To determine whether the combination of resolvin E1 (RvE1) and lipoxin A4 (LXA4) could promote resolution of pulpitis and to investigate the mechanism.Preliminary screening was first conducted in four specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs). Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and double-immunofluorescence labelling were employed to assess the expression of RelA, SIRT1, SIRT6, SIRT7 and pro-inflammatory factors. Dental pulp fibroblasts (DPFs) were transfected with siRNA to assess the biological role of SIRT7. A pulpitis model was utilized to evaluate the in vivo curative effect.Preliminary results showed that RvE1 and LXA4 reduced the expression of RelA more markedly than other two SPMs. Both RvE1 and LXA4 treatment downregulated nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) activation and increased the expression of SIRT1, SIRT6 and SIRT7, more so in combination than alone. Double-immunofluorescence labelling showed that SIRT7 co-localized with p-p65 and Ac-p65 in the nucleus. Inhibiting ChemR23 and ALX reversed the expression of RelA mRNA, p-p65 and Ac-p65 proteins, pro-inflammatory factors, SIRT1, SIRT6 and SIRT7. Silencing SIRT7 significantly increased p-p65 and Ac-p65 protein levels and decreased SIRT1 and SIRT6 expression. In vivo experiments showed that combined administration of RvE1 and LXA4 promoted pulpitis markedly to resolution.Combination of RvE1 and LXA4 effectively inhibited NF-κB activation by upregulating SIRT7 expression in DPFs, leading to reduced production of pro-inflammatory factors and promotion of pulpitis resolution.

Objective: Increasing the efficiency of early diagnosis using noninvasive biomarkers is crucial for enhancing the survival rate of lung cancer patients. We explore the differential expression of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)-related long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in urinary exosomes in NSCLC patients and normal controls to diagnose lung cancer. Methods: A differential expression analysis between NSCLC patients and healthy controls was performed using microarrays. Gene ontology (GO) term and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses were used to predict potential functions of lncRNAs in NSCLC. quantitative real-time PCR (QT-PCR) was used to verify microarray results. Results: A total of 640 lncRNAs (70 up- and 570 down-regulated) were differentially expressed in NSCLC patients in comparison to healthy controls. Six lncRNAs were detected by QT-PCR. GO term and KEGG pathway analyses showed that differential lncRNAs were enriched in cellular component organization or biogenesis, as well as other biological processes and signaling pathways, such as the PI3K-AKT, FOXO, p53, and fatty acid biosynthesis. Conclusions: The differential lncRNAs in urinary exosomes are potential diagnostic biomarkers of NSCLC. The lncRNAs enriched in specific pathways may be associated with tumor cell proliferation, tumor cell apoptosis, and the cell cycle involved in the pathogenesis of NSCLC.

The first-line treatment for colorectal cancer (CRC) is 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). However, the efficacy of this treatment is sometimes limited owing to chemoresistance as well as treatment-associated intestinal mucositis and other adverse events. Growing evidence suggests that certain phytochemicals have therapeutic and cancer-preventing properties. Further, the synergistic interactions between many such plant-derived products and chemotherapeutic drugs have been linked to improved therapeutic efficacy. Polysaccharides extracted from Albuca bracteata (Thunb.) J.C.Manning and Goldblatt (ABP) have been reported to exhibit anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. In this study, murine CRC cells (CT26) and a murine model of CRC were used to examine the anti-tumor properties of ABP and explore the mechanism underlying the synergistic interactions between ABP and 5-FU. Our results revealed that ABP could inhibit tumor cell proliferation, invasion, and migratory activity in vitro and inhibited tumor progression in vivo by suppressing β-catenin signaling. Additionally, treatment with a combination of ABP and 5-FU resulted in better outcomes than treatment with either agent alone. Moreover, this combination therapy resulted in the specific enrichment of Ruminococcus, Anaerostipes, and Oscillospira in the intestinal microbiota and increased fecal short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) levels (acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid). The improvement in the intestinal microbiota and the increase in beneficial SCFAs contributed to enhanced therapeutic outcomes and reduced the adverse effects of 5-FU. Together, these data suggest that ABP exhibits anti-neoplastic activity and can effectively enhance the efficacy of 5-FU in CRC treatment. Therefore, further research on the application of ABP in the development of novel anti-tumor drugs and adjuvant compounds is warranted and could improve the outcomes of CRC patients.

The amorphous I/Au composite nanoflms were prepared by low vacuum direct current sputtering (LVDCS) method. The optimized preparation technologies contain growth pressure, time, gaseous environment and annealing conditions. The maximum fuorescence emission (λemmax) of I/Au nanoflms was observed at wavelength of 375 nm, and the intensity of fuorescence emission peak of annealed I/Au flms was smaller than that of unannealed one due to fewer amorphous Au nanoparticles, caused by annealing treatment. In the UV-Vis absorption spectra, the intensity of UV-Vis absorption peak of annealed I/ Au nanoflms is larger than that of the unannealed one. This work also developed a new way to grow I/Au composite fuorescent thin flms.

Robust and accurate pose estimation in long-term localization is crucial to autonomous driving. In this paper, we dealt with absolute localization with a LiDAR feature map and multi-sensor measurements. We proposed a tightly-coupled fusion method with fixed-lag smoothing. A sliding window of recently maintained states is estimated by minimizing a joint cost function. This cost function includes residuals of global LiDAR registration and relative kinematic constraints from an IMU and wheel encoders. In addition, we enhance the robustness of our method by improving LiDAR registration. To achieve this goal, LiDAR feature maps with a hybrid of geometric and normal distribution features are constructed and exploited. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified in several challenging test sequences over 200km. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves accurate localization and high robustness in challenging scenarios even when the LiDAR observation is degraded.

A set of mono-disperse aerosol generator was designed to meet the requirement of efficiency testing for high efficiency particle air filter. The aerosol generation tests and performance tests were conducted by using evaporation–condensation method, with NaCl solutions at different concentrations as the condensation nucleus and respectively using the DEHS, DOP, PAO–4 as reagents. The results show that three reagents can generate mono-disperse aerosol particles by strictly controlling various parameters which affects the aerosol performance, where the particle size range is 0.33–0.36 μm for DEHS, 0.35–0.37 μm for DOP and 0.34–0.36 μm for PAO–4 and the concentrations of the aerosols lager than 106 cm–3. The particle size characteristics and concentrations generated through such method basically conform to the requirements of efficiency testing for high efficiency particle air filter.

To satisfy the requirements of underground engineering applications, an anti-radon coating was developed by selecting suitable modified polymer emulsions, element materials, pigments, fillers, additives, etc. Experimental results on radon mitigation performance show that for a coating thickness of 2.0 mm, the radon mitigation efficiency reaches 95.1%. In addition, an anti-radon coating has a very low content of toxic substances and excellent water resistance and durability. Using the coating in an engineering application showed that the coating has the advantages of fast drying speed, no peculiar smell and excellent radon mitigation performance, where 2-3 coats produce good radon mitigation in damp and sealed underground engineering environments.

Hypodysfibrinogenemia is the least frequently reported congenital fibrinogen disorder, characterized by both quantity and quality defects of fibrinogen. In this study, we investigated the molecular basis of hypodysfibrinogenemia in a Chinese family. Functional fibrinogen was measured by Clauss method, and the antigenic fibrinogen was measured by immunoturbidimetry assay. All the exons and exon-intron boundaries of fibrinogen genes (FGA, FGB and FGG) were analysed by direct DNA sequencing. To further evaluate its molecular and functional characterizations, fibrinogen was purified from the plasma of propositus, then SDS-PAGE, fibrin polymerization, clot lysis, and electron microscopy scanning were all performed. The propositus showed a slight decrease of immunologic fibrinogen (1.52 g/L) but dramatically reduced functional fibrinogen (0.3 g/L). DNA sequencing revealed a novel heterozygous CCTTTGATG deletion in the exon 8 of FGG, leading to the deletion of Ala289, Phe290, and Asp291 in fibrinogen γ-chain. The polymerization of the fibrinogen from the propositus was markedly impaired, with prolonged lag period and decreased final turbidity. The fibrinogen clottability showed a reduced fraction of participating clot formation. While the clot lysis showed normal. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the fibers of the propositus were thicker than normal, with larger pores and curlier meshworks. We conclude that γAla289_Asp291del is responsible for the hypodysfibrinogenemia in this case.

Electronic transport properties in an Al cluster are investigated theoretically in this paper. We propose a possible illustration of Coulomb blockade based on variable electrostatic potential (ESP). Density functional theory (DFT) was used to achieve the global minimum structure and wave function for analyzing the ESP and density of states (DOS) of Al68 in different charged states. Al68 is able to contain multiple electrons. According to the calculation of systematic energy and surface ESP, respectively, the surface of Al68 presents a 0–6.33 eV ESP barrier after electron injection, which is 0 eV at first. The probability density of flow of electrons was calculated under one-dimensional model with double barriers. Expected results were obtained, containing a nonlinear relationship between J and V and flow density steps. Moreover, an assumption is proposed associated with nonlinear conductance phenomenon of zero-dimensional nanomaterials. Significantly, Al films with different thicknesses were prepared by the low vacuum physical vapor deposition (LVPVD) method, exhibiting novel fluorescent behaviors. In addition, the I–V curve of a 25-nm Al film exhibited two steps at 7 and 27 V, respectively, which meant that the step effect was caused by Coulomb blockade, in accordance with the theoretical calculation.

UHVDC wall bushing is one of the key equipment of UHV DC power transmission. In recent years, a number of bushing failures have occurred at home and abroad due to the defects in the connection of the conductive rods. It is necessary to study the mechanism and preventive measures of these faults. The inner insulation of the epoxy resin impregnated butt-type dry wall bushing in this paper is formed by the butt joint of two converter transformer dry bushings’ capacitor cores. And SF6 gas is filled between the composite insulated jacket and capacitor cores. This paper analyzes the influence of the defects and impurities at different positions on the electric field distribution of the bushing under rated voltage by finite element simulation. The results show that when there are metal particles on the surface of the grading cover, the end of the core, and the end of the plate, the field strength increases to about 1.2 times, 1.25 times and 3.8 times respectively. Besides, when the air gap occurs inside the core, the distortion of the casing electric field strength increases from 5kV/mm to 37kV/mm, which increases to about 7.4 times. What’s more, the type of the powder doesn’t have typical influence on the electric field distribution. When the 100% solid powder decomposition products were found on the surface of the epoxy resin core near the butt joint structure of the bushing, the distortion of the electric field of the bushing is the greatest. Under the rated voltage, the electric field increases from 9.93kV/mm to 89.1kV/mm. The maximum electric field strength and the ratios of powder are approximately proportional. These defects may result in partial discharge of the grading cover or epoxy resin core near the butt joint part. The internal electric field distortion will seriously threaten the safe and stable operation of the bushing.

Epoxy resin has been widely used in dry-type insulation application, such as dry-bushings. This paper focuses on the silicone oil effect on the space charge characteristics of epoxy resin in PEA system. The measurement results on samples coated with gold showed that almost no charges were injected under such a short polarization time at 30°C. However, the measurement results on uncoated samples showed that homo charges were injected very quickly into the samples. Silicone oil was undertaking voltage and charges were injected firstly into the oil and migrated into the measured specimen, which significantly reduces the threshold electric field strength for charge injection. Interlayer polarization occurred at the interface (oil-specimens) and the interface charge dissipated along with poling time. So the charge peak near the cathode decreased and the image charge also dissipated. Therefore, for samples that are hard and not flat, like epoxy resin, gold coating is very important to obtain an accurate result of charge dynamics.

The key to preparing nano-films by DC (Direct Current) sputtering is to prepare the film materials into targets. Organic small molecule fluorescent materials (such as 1, 4-Bis(2-cyanostyryl) benzene, to be noted as ER-I) are usually not conductive, and it is not possible to make the elements as targets. Therefore, there are some difficulties in preparing the organic materials into films by DC sputtering. In this paper, we fabricated ER-I nano-films by using the DC sputtering method, and their fluorescence properties are significantly different from those of powder materials. The fluorescence emission spectra of the films prepared by the DC sputtering method have an apparent bimodal morphology. Compared with the ER-I powder material, the fluorescence emission peak has a blue shift of 5 nm and 22 nm. To study the luminescence mechanism of the films, we further investigated the fluorescence properties of the films after thermal treatment and analyzed the structure and surface morphology of the films by XRD and SEM. This paper provides a new idea and method for the preparation of organic nano-films and has a potential application value in the preparation of organic light-emitting films and soft optics devices.

The development of metallic fluorescent materials, π-conjugated molecular systems with high-efficiency generation of blue light, and new ways to fabricate metallic/organic luminescent materials plays an important role in the fields of large-scale flat panel displays and soft optical devices. Herein, different fluorescent films have been fabricated by low vacuum physical vapor deposition method (LVPVDM), including single/two-component films. Compared with raw materials, all films show novel fluorescent behaviors, which means potential application in the fields of multicolor luminescence and thickness-optical response sensors. Meanwhile, the speculation is demonstrated in many ways that the maximum emission (λemmax) at 406 nm and 426 nm of pristine 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (26NCA) is caused by the crystal structure, while the shoulder peak at 445 nm is caused by the self-structure of 26NCA molecule. Significantly, this speculation may afford new insight into the relationship between not only crystal structure and luminescence, but also molecular self-structure and luminescence, which means a new strategy to tune the fluorescent behaviors based on molecular self-structure by LVPVDM. Therefore, this work provides a facile way to fabricate single/multicomponent metallic/organic film materials with tunable blue luminescence properties, which have potential application in the fields of next generation of photofunctional materials.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the pancreatic exocrine function in a canine model and to analyze the changes in organelles of pancreatic acinar cells during the early stage of acute pancreatitis (AP). AP was induced by retrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate (0.5 ml/kg) into the main pancreatic duct of dogs. The induction of AP resulted in serum hyperamylasemia and a marked reduction of amylase activity in the pancreatic fluid (PF). The pancreatic exocrine function was markedly decreased in subjects with AP compared with the control group. After the induction of AP, histological examination showed acinar cell edema, cytoplasmic vacuolization, fibroblasts infiltration, and inflammatory cell infiltration in the interstitium. Electron micrographs after the induction of AP revealed that most of the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) were dilated and that some of the ribosomes were no longer located on the RER. The mitochondria were swollen, with shortened and broken cristae. The present study demonstrated, in a canine model, a reduced volume of PF secretion with decreased enzyme secretion during the early stage of AP. Injury of mitochondria and dilatation and degranulation of RER may be responsible for the reduced exocrine function in AP. Furthermore, the present model and results may be useful for researching novel therapeutic measures in AP.

Organic luminescent materials play an important role in the fields of light-emitting diodes and fluorescent imaging. Moreover, new synthetic approaches towardsπ-conjugated molecular systems with high fluorescence quantum efficiency are highly desired. Herein, different 2,5-diphenyloxazole-octafluoronaphthalene (DPO-OFN) films with tunable fluorescence have been prepared by Low Vacuum Physical Vapor Deposition (LVPVD) method. DPO-OFN films showed some changed properties, such as molecular vibration and fluorescence. All films exhibited blue/bluish violet fluorescence and showed blue shift, in comparison with pristine DPO. This work introduced a new method to fabricate two-component molecular materials with tunable blue/bluish violet luminescence properties and provided a new perspective to prepare organic luminescent film materials, layer film materials, cocrystal materials, and cocrystal film materials. Importantly, these materials have potential applications in the fields of next generation of photofunctional materials.

To investigate the cervical cancer incidence and mortality in cancer registries of Zhejiang province during 2000 to 2009.The data of cervical cancer incidence and mortality were collected from six cancer registries in Zhejiang province. Staff of Zhejiang Provincial Cancer Prevention and Control Office checked, sorted and analyzed the data to calculate crude, standardized rate and trend. Chinese census in 1982 and Segi's population were used for age-standardized incidence and mortality rates.The incidence rate of cervical cancer in Zhejiang cancer registration areas was 11.78/100 000 during 2000 to 2009, and age-standardized incidence rates by Chinese standard population and by world standard population were 7.05/100 000 and 8.62/100 000, respectively. The mortality rate was 1.89/100 000, and age-standardized mortality rates by Chinese standard population and by world standard population were 0.95/100 000 and 1.23/100 000, respectively. The age-specific incidence rates showed different trends, increased significantly after the age of 25, peaked at 45-year-old group, which was 23.03/100 000 (578/2 510 099) , and decreased at the age of 50, while the age-specific mortality rates gentlely increased, peaked at 85 years of age group, which was 11.94/100 000 (33/276 414) . The cervical Cancer Incidence from 5.96/100 000 (86/1 443 589) in 2000, increased to 18.90/100 000 (898/4 751 426) in 2009, the annual percent change (APC) was 16.64% (95%CI:11.87%-21.61%). The mortality showed a gentle upward trend from 1.45/100 000 (21/1 443 589) , increased to 2.53/100 000 (120/4 751 426) in 2009, the APC was 6.63% (95%CI:1.73%-11.77%).Cervical cancer showed younger trend, the incidence and mortality trends showed an increasing trend, should strengthen the prevention and control of cervical cancer.

There are many kinds of external phenomena with power equipments running state changing, and one of the important characters is acoustic signal mutation when power transformer would get out of order. But it is difficult to judge the acoustic change degree and describe the failure character scientifically only by human subjective sensation. The acoustic monitoring can be realized with non-contact measurement, the committed step is the acoustic signal processing, and intelligence fault diagnosis scheme is presented in this thesis. After acoustic signal collected in substation, the layer threshold de-noising algorithm is utilized, the signal characteristics based on wavelet package is extracted to be the gist of knowledge acquisition and consequence, and the fault diagnosis expert system is designed by acoustic quantative analysis. Through acoustic signal analyzing experiments, the effects of the de-noising algorithm and signal characteristics extraction method have been verified. The acoustic wave diagnosis expert system can solve many problems because of the high voltage and powerful electromagnetic field of the power system, and it would be a good reference to many power equipment fault identify.

As the mark of sonic source category, acoustic signal also carries some architecture and running status information of transformer to be a natural character. In fault diagnosis techniques, acoustic recognition as one of the important methods was used in mechanical equipments fault diagnosis and observation system. In transformer fault diagnosis, its acoustic signal time-frequency changing has close connection with the active state. A new method of transformer fault diagnosis based on Hilbert transform and wavelet contour is developed. The fault signals and normal signals that have near and far sound field noise are extracted, and then de-noise it. Using the Hilbert transform and wavelet contour processing the measured signal, Hilbert spectrum and wavelet contour, which attribute the time-frequency changing of transformer acoustic signal, is obtained. The test result shows the character of transformer running state. It is demonstrated by actual analysis that the new detection method is one effective way for the condition evaluation and fault diagnosis of transformer.

After discussed the difficulty of monitoring transformer fault online, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis scheme based on acoustic wave analysis. The time and frequency domain signal processing is utilized to analyze acoustic signal so that equipments' running status can be identified and the trend of development be predicted. Firstly, a new scheme of transformer fault diagnosis and trend forecast is designed. Transformer acoustic signal acquisition, noise elimination method in diagnosis system is represented. Secondly, the new algorithm of the signal strangeness detection and trend-based forecasting based on wavelet analysis is put forward. Lastly, the wavelet packet algorithm is utilized to analyze acoustic signal and extract frequency & time-domain features which relative with its development trend, and then the predicting consequence can be use to assess the fault type. The actual measurement test demonstrated that the serial wavelet packet transformation (WPT) algorithms have high availability and feasibility to diagnosis and forecast the transformer faults accuracy.
