To investigate the comorbidity of adolescent depression and Internet gaming disorder (IGD) and their shared and unique cognitive-behavioral factors (i.e., self-esteem, dysfunctional attitudes, hopelessness, and coping), a large-scale school-based survey was conducted among 3147 Chinese secondary school students in Hong Kong. Probable depression and IGD were screened using the Centre for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale and DSM-5 IGD checklist, respectively. Multinomial logistic regression was performed to identify the associations between different condition statuses and cognitive-behavioral factors. Four groups were identified, including comorbidity group (having probable depression and IGD), IGD group (having probable IGD alone), depression group (probable depression alone), and healthy group (neither condition). Comorbidity group showed the worst cognitive-behavioral statuses, followed by depression group and then IGD group. Compared with healthy group, those with lower self-esteem and higher hopelessness and dysfunctional attitudes were more likely to be classified into depression group and comorbidity group, while maladaptive coping was positively associated with all three disorder groups. The results suggest that depression and IGD may share common cognitive-behavioral mechanisms (e.g., maladaptive coping) but also own their uniqueness regarding specific factors (e.g., hopelessness and self-esteem). Background: Recurrence of common bile duct stones (CBDs) commonly happens after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The clinical prediction models for the recurrence of CBDs after ERCP are lacking. Aims: We aim to develop high-performance prediction models for the recurrence of CBDS after ERCP treatment using automated machine learning (AutoML) and to assess the AutoML models versus the traditional regression models. Methods: 473 patients with CBDs undergoing ERCP were recruited in the single-center retrospective cohort study. Samples were divided into Training Set (65%) and Validation Set (35%) randomly. Three modeling approaches, including fully automated machine learning (Fully automated), semi-automated machine learning (Semi-automated), and traditional regression were applied to fit prediction models. Models' discrimination, calibration, and clinical benefits were examined. The Shapley additive explanations (SHAP), partial dependence plot (PDP), and SHAP local explanation (SHAPLE) were proposed for the interpretation of the best model. Results: The area under roc curve (AUROC) of semi-automated gradient boost machine (GBM) model was 0.749 in Validation Set, better than the other fully/semi-automated models and the traditional regression models (highest AUROC = 0.736). The calibration and clinical application of AutoML models were adequate. Through the SHAP-PDP-SHAPLE pipeline, the roles of key variables of the semi-automated GBM model were visualized. Lastly, the best model was deployed online for clinical practitioners. Conclusion: The GBM model based on semi-AutoML is an optimal model to predict the recurrence of CBDs after ERCP treatment. Simple Summary: Surgery is the main treatment to cure pancreatic cancer (PC). However, the 5-year survival rate of surgical resection is only 10–20%. The aim of our study was to develop a prediction model with the novel machine learning algorithm random survival forest (RSF) and to offer easy-to-use prediction tools, including risk stratification and individual prognosis. The study would benefit patients and physicians in postoperative management and facilitate personalized medicine. Accurate prediction for the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer (PC) is a emerge task nowadays. We aimed to develop survival models for postoperative PC patients, based on a novel algorithm, random survival forest (RSF), traditional Cox regression and neural networks (Deepsurv), using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER) database. A total of 3988 patients were included in this study. Eight clinicopathological features were selected using least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression analysis and were utilized to develop the RSF model. The model was evaluated based on three dimensions: discrimination, calibration, and clinical benefit. It found that the RSF model predicted the cancer-specific survival (CSS) of the postoperative PC patients with a c-index of 0.723, which was higher than the models built by Cox regression (0.670) and Deepsurv (0.700). The Brier scores at 1, 3, and 5 years (0.188, 0.177, and 0.131) of the RSF model demonstrated the model's favorable calibration and the decision curve analysis illustrated the model's value of clinical implement. Moreover, the roles of the key variables were visualized in the Shapley Additive Explanations plotting. Lastly, the prediction model demonstrates value in risk stratification and individual prognosis. Background This study aims to explore a deep learning (DL) algorithm for developing a prognostic model and perform survival analyses in SBT patients. Methods The demographic and clinical features of patients with SBTs were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database. We randomly split the samples into the training set and the validation set at 7:3. Cox proportional hazards (Cox-PH) analysis and the DeepSurv algorithm were used to develop models. The performance of the Cox-PH and DeepSurv models was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves, calibration curves, C-statistics and decision-curve analysis (DCA). A Kaplan–Meier (K–M) survival analysis was performed for further explanation on prognostic effect of the Cox-PH model. Results The multivariate analysis demonstrated that seven variables were associated with cancer-specific survival (CSS) (all p < 0.05). The DeepSurv model showed better performance than the Cox-PH model (C-index: 0.871 vs. 0.866). The calibration curves and DCA revealed that the two models had good discrimination and calibration. Moreover, patients with ileac malignancy and N2 stage disease were not responding to surgery according to the K–M analysis. Conclusions This study reported a DeepSurv model that performed well in CSS in SBT patients. It might offer insights into future research to explore more DL algorithms in cohort studies. Bacterial infectious diseases cause serious harm to human health. At present, antibiotics are the main drugs used in the treatment of bacterial infectious diseases, but the abuse of antibiotics has led to the rapid increase in drug-resistant bacteria and to the inability to effectively control infections. Bacteriophages are a kind of virus that infects bacteria and archaea, adopting bacteria as their hosts. The use of bacteriophages as antimicrobial agents in the treatment of bacterial diseases is an alternative to antibiotics. At present, phage therapy (PT) has been used in various fields and has provided a new technology for addressing diseases caused by bacterial infections in humans, animals, and plants. PT uses bacteriophages to infect pathogenic bacteria so to stop bacterial infections and treat and prevent related diseases. However, PT has several limitations, due to a narrow host range, the lysogenic phenomenon, the lack of relevant policies, and the lack of pharmacokinetic data. The development of reasonable strategies to overcome these limitations is essential for the further development of this technology. This review article described the current applications and limitations of PT and summarizes the existing solutions for these limitations. Background: Interventions designed to increase the level of physical activity are crucial in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The psychological group-based intervention MoVo-LISA based on the Motivation-Volition (MoVo) Process Model has been shown to effectively promote physical activity. The aim of this study is to evaluate whether a MoVo-based app (MoVo-App) subsequent to MoVo-LISA during orthopedic inpatient care can support people to increase and maintain their amount of physical activity.Methods/design: In this parallel-group randomized controlled trial, patients with musculoskeletal disorders will be randomized to either (a) a combination of the group-based intervention program MoVo-LISA to promote physical activity plus the MoVo-App or (b) the group-based intervention program alone without the app. The intervention group will receive the MoVo-App after discharge from inpatient rehabilitation. They receive help to increase and maintain their level of physical activity (initiated by the group program) by tracking their health goals, activity plans, major barriers, and barrier management that were developed during the group-based program. We will recruit 224 initially minimally active participants during orthopedic rehabilitation care. Outcomes are assessed at clinic admission; discharge; 6 weeks; and 3 (post-treatment), 6, and 12 months after discharge (follow-up). The primary outcome is sport activity (active/inactive and minutes of activity) at 6-month follow-up. Secondary outcomes are movement activity, cognitive mediators of behavioral change (e.g., self-efficacy, action planning), and health-related variables (e.g., pain intensity, depression). To evaluate intervention effects, linear mixed effects models (both on intention-to-treat basis with an additional per-protocol analysis) will be conducted with each outcome variable and with time as the within-subjects factor and group as the between-subjects factor, along with all two-way interactions and accounting for covariates as fixed effects.Discussion: This is the first evaluation of the effectiveness of an app in combination with a face-to-face group intervention to promote physical activity. This study aimed to explore the effect and mechanism of Bacillus coagulans TL3 (B. coagulansTL3) on ileal inflammatory injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Animal models were established wherein male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups: a control group, an LPS group, a high-concentration B. coagulans (HBC) group, and a low-concentration B. coagulans (LBC) group. The results showed that the biochemical indices changed, significant pathological changes were found, the number of apoptotic cells increased in the ileal tissue of the LPS group rats; the protein expressions of NFκB, MYD88, TLR4, TNF-α, Il-6, IL-1β, Claudin-1, Occludin, and ZO-1 in the LPS group were significantly decreased. The biochemical indices, pathological changes, and protein expressions in rats subjected to intragastric administration with high or low concentrations of B. coagulans TL3, were significantly reversed compared with the LPS group. These results indicated that TL3 strain could protect rats against ileal oxidative stress and inflammation induced by LPS and the protective mechanism was related to inhibition of the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) / myeloid differentiation factor-88 (MyD88) signaling pathway. Background: Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) can be effective in treating chronic pain. Despite evidence supporting the effectiveness of ACT, uncertainties remain regarding which subgroups in the chronic pain population are likely to benefit most and least. This protocol describes the application for two meta-analytic approaches, one at the level of individual participant data and the other at the level of aggregated data, from randomized controlled trials of ACT for chronic pain (ACT-CP-MA). Methods: We will systematically conduct literature searches in CENTRAL, MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, and trial registers. Two reviewers will independently select studies for inclusion and data extraction. ACT-CP-MA will include randomized controlled trials with ACT for chronic pain compared to control conditions for adults (≥ 18 years) with chronic pain (> 3 months). We will invite the authors of all eligible trials to share individual participant data. Outcomes will include standardized measures of pain interference, pain intensity, depression, anxiety, health-related quality of life, participants' rating of overall improvement, and ACT-related process variables. Using the Cochrane Collaboration's tool and GRADE, reviewers will independently check for risk of bias, quality of evidence, and strength of recommendations. In the individual participant data meta-analysis, we will use a one-step approach where participants are clustered with studies and data from all studies are modeled simultaneously. For analyses, we will use mixed-effects models. Additionally, we will employ a meta-analysis with aggregate data and compare the results of both meta-analyses. Discussion: This collaborative meta-analysis of individual participant data from randomized controlled trials of ACT for chronic pain versus control conditions will demonstrate how the known benefits of ACT for chronic pain vary across different subtypes of the chronic pain population. The results of the meta-analyses will be based on a comprehensive search of multiple databases and will help to inform future clinical trials and decision-making on the use of ACT in chronic pain and improve the quality, design, and reporting of future trials in this field. There is a recurring debate on the role of the serotonin transporter gene linked polymorphic region (5-HTT LPR) in the moderation of response to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in anxiety disorders. Results, however, are still inconclusive. We here aim to perform a meta-analysis on the role of 5-HTT LPR in the moderation of CBT outcome in anxiety disorders. We investigated both categorical (symptom reduction of at least 50%) and dimensional outcomes from baseline to post-treatment and follow-up. Original data were obtained from ten independent samples (including three unpublished samples) with a total of 2,195 patients with primary anxiety disorder. No significant effects of 5-HTT LPR genotype on categorical or dimensional outcomes at post and follow-up were detected. We conclude that current evidence does not support the hypothesis of 5-HTT LPR as a moderator of treatment outcome for CBT in anxiety disorders. Future research should address whether other factors such as long-term changes or epigenetic processes may explain further variance in these complex gene-environment interactions and molecular-genetic pathways that may confer behavioral change following psychotherapy. Various therapies are used in patients with internet gaming disorder (IGD), but their comparative effectiveness in reducing IGD symptoms is unknown. The present systematic review and meta-analysis evaluated the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and pharmacological-psychological combined therapy on IGD related-outcomes and its comorbid mental disorders. Following PRISMA guidelines, a search of MEDLINE, EMBASE, Ovid Emcare, PsycINFO and the Cochrane Clinical Trials Library was conducted by Aug 04, 2023. We pooled effect sizes as within-group Hedges's g and performed meta-regression using random effects models. Systematic review identified 43 studies and 32 of them with 1738 participants were included for meta-analysis. Pharmaco-, psycho- and combined therapies showed large-to-moderate effect sizes for IGD symptoms and comorbid mental disorders. Combined therapies (Hedges's g = −2.11, 95% confidence interval: −2.87 to −1.35) showed larger effect size than pharmacotherapies (Hedges's g = −1.10, −1.31 to −0.89) or psychotherapies (Hedges's g = −0.99, −1.22, −0.76) on IGD reduction at post-intervention. The effects maintained at follow-up in psycho- and combined therapies. Bupropion and cognitive behavioral therapy showed advantages over their counterparts. The three types of therapies are promising to reduce IGD symptoms and comorbidities, but cautious interpretation is required given the limitations and high heterogeneity in the existing interventions. • Pharmaco-, psycho- and combined therapies were promising to reduce IGD symptoms and comorbid mental disorders. • Combined therapy was more effective than pharmacotherapies or psychotherapies alone on IGD reduction at post-intervention. • The effects on IGD reduction maintained at follow-up in psycho- and combined therapies. • Bupropion and cognitive behavioral therapy showed advantages over their counterparts. • Cautious interpretation is required given the limitations and high heterogeneity in the existing interventions. We examined the long-term effectiveness of a group-based psychological intervention ("MoVo-LISA") to promote physical activity in patients with coronary heart disease. In this randomized controlled trial, N = 202 inactive patients with coronary heart disease were assigned to the control group (n = 102; treatment as usual) or the intervention group (n = 100; treatment as usual plus MoVo-LISA). Physical activity was assessed at baseline, 6 weeks (post-treatment), 6 months, and 12 months after discharge. ANCOVA for repeated measures revealed a significant interaction effect [p <.001; ηp2=.214] indicating a large effect [d = 1.03] of the intervention on behavior change post-treatment. At 12-month follow-up, the level of physical activity in the intervention group was still 94 min per week higher than in the control group (p <.001; d = 0.57). Results of this RCT indicate that the MoVo-LISA intervention substantially improves the level of physical activity among initially inactive patients with coronary heart disease up to 1 year after the intervention. Background: Depression and comorbid chronic back pain (CBP) lead to high personal and economic burden. Internet- and mobile-based interventions (IMI) might be a cost-effective adjunct to established interventions.Methods: A health economic evaluation was embedded into an observer-blinded, multicenter RCT (societal and health care perspective). We randomly assigned participants (≥18 years) with CBP and diagnosed depression from 82 orthopedic clinics across Germany to intervention (IG + treatment as usual [TAU]) or TAU control group (CG). The IG received a guided IMI. Primary outcomes were depression response and quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) at 6-months follow-up. Multiple imputation was used to address missing data. Incremental cost-effectiveness/cost-utility ratios (ICER/ICUR) and the probability of being cost-effective at different willingness-to-pay thresholds were calculated. Statistical uncertainty was estimated using bootstrapping techniques (N = 10,000).Results: Between October 2015 and July 2017 210 participants were randomly assigned to IG (n = 105) and CG (n = 105). Depression response did not differ significantly between groups. QALYs were significantly higher in the IG compared to the CG. Taking the societal perspective and assuming a commonly used willingness-to-pay of €34,000/QALY, the intervention's likelihood of being cost-effective was 64%.Limitations: The main limitation is that the study was powered to detect clinical but not health economic differences between groups.Conclusion: The IMI is considered cost-effective (vs. CG) for individuals with depression and CBP (societal perspective). These results are promising when considering the high individual and economic burden of this patient group. Insulin resistance (IR) attributed by the deficiency of lipophagy, is an abnormal state of downregulation of insulin-mediated glucose uptake and use into the liver. Chromosome 9 open reading frame 72 (C9orf72) variously modulates autophagy. We investigated the role and the downstream pathway of C9orf72 in hepatic IR. We found that C9orf72 knockdown alleviated hepatic IR by lipophagy promotion in T2DM mice and in IR-challenged hepatocytes in vitro. C9orf72 interacted with and activated cell division cycle 42 (Cdc42) protein in IR-challenged hepatocytes, Which in turn, inhibits lipophagy by promoting neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (N-WASP) expression and activation. C9orf72 inhibited lipophagy by activating the Cdc42/N-WASP axis to facilitate hepatic IR; therefore, the knockdown of C9orf72 may be potentially therapeutic for the treatment of IR. • Knockdown of C9orf72 alleviated hepatic insulin resistance via facilitating lipophagy in T2DM mice and in insulin resistance-challenged hepatocytes in vitro. • C9orf72 interacted with and activated Cdc42 in insulin resistance-challenged hepatocytes. • The activation of Cdc42 inhibited lipophagy in insulin resistance-challenged hepatocytes via enhancing N-WASP expression and activation. Introduction: There is neither strong evidence on effective treatments for patients with chronic back pain (CBP) and depressive disorder nor sufficiently available mental health care offers.Objective: The aim is to assess the effectiveness of internet- and mobile-based interventions (IMI) as a scalable approach for treating depression in a routine care setting.Methods: This is an observer-masked, multicenter, pragmatic randomized controlled trial with a randomization ratio of 1:1.Patients with CBP and diagnosed depressive disorder (mild to moderate severity) were recruited from 82 orthopedic rehabilitation clinics across Germany. The intervention group (IG) received a guided depression IMI tailored to CBP next to treatment-as-usual (TAU; including medication), while the control group (CG) received TAU. The primary outcome was observer-masked clinician-rated Hamilton depression severity (9-week follow-up). The secondary outcomes were: further depression outcomes, pain-related outcomes, health-related quality of life, and work capacity. Biostatistician blinded analyses using regression models were conducted by intention-to-treat and per protocol analysis.Results: Between October 2015 and July 2017, we randomly assigned 210 participants (IG, n = 105; CG, n = 105), mostly with only a mild pain intensity but substantial pain disability. No statistically significant difference in depression severity between IG and CG was observed at the 9-week follow-up (β = -0.19, 95% CI -0.43 to 0.05). Explorative secondary depression (4/9) and pain-related (4/6) outcomes were in part significant (p < 0.05). Health-related quality of life was significantly higher in the IG. No differences were found in work capacity.Conclusion: The results indicate that an IMI for patients with CBP and depression in a routine care setting has limited impact on depression. The aim of the present study was to present a rare case of primary acral amelanotic malignant melanoma (AMM). A 61-year-old man developed an aggressive tumor in the front part of the sole of his left foot, which continued to increase in size for >1 year. The biopsy results revealed epidermis loss, ulcer formation, and the presence of abundant allotropic tumor cells throughout the dermis, with deeply stained nuclei, light reddish cytoplasm and visible multinucleated giant cells with heterogeneous nuclear division. The tumor cells exhibited partial formation of nests and bundled distribution, and there were no observed pigment particles. The diagnosis was confirmed as AMM based on the findings of the histopathological examination and immunohistochemical staining for Ki67 (+++), Melan-A (+++), human melanoma black 45 (+), CD20 (-), cytokeratin (CK)7 (-) and CK5/6 (-). Background: Psychological flexibility is considered a fundamental aspect of health. It includes six interrelated facets: 1) cognitive defusion, 2) acceptance, 3) contact with the present moment, 4) self-as-context, 5) values, and 6) committed action. To gain further insight into psychological flexibility and its effects on health, reliable and valid instruments to assess all facets are needed. Committed action is one facet that is understudied. A long and short version of a validated measure (CAQ and CAQ-8) have been developed in English. Currently, there are no German versions of the CAQ. Aim of this study is to validate German-language versions of these in a chronic pain population.Methods: The CAQ instructions and items were translated and evaluated in a chronic pain population (N = 181). Confirmatory factor analysis and Mokken scale analysis were conducted to evaluate the German questionnaires. Correlations with health outcomes, including quality of life (SF-12), physical and emotional functioning (MPI, BPI, PHQ-9, GAD-7), pain intensity, and with other facets of psychological flexibility (CPAQ, FAH-II) were investigated for convergent validity purposes. Scale reliability was assessed by the alpha, MS, lambda-2, LCRC, and omega coefficient.Results: A bifactor model consisting of one general factor and two methodological factors emerged from the analysis. Criteria for reliability and validity were met. Medium to strong correlations to health outcomes and other facets of psychological flexibility were found. Results were similar to the original English version.Conclusions: The present study presents a valid and reliable instrument to investigate committed action in German populations. Future studies could expand the present findings by evaluating the German CAQ versions in non-pain populations. Background: The number of studies examining internet-based interventions (IBIs) for depression is increasing. Although many individuals with depression experience suicidal ideation, there is only insufficient information available on how to manage and support individuals at risk of suicide in IBI trials. Here, we examined the current practice regarding the management of individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors in studies of IBIs for depression.Methods: Information pertaining to the management of suicidality was extracted from 24 studies. Additionally, researchers in the field completed a questionnaire (n = 13) before being interviewed (n = 11) about their procedures and considerations regarding the management of suicidality.Results: In most trials (N = 17; 71%), individuals at risk of suicide were excluded based on varying criteria. N = 7 studies used structured interviews and N = 5 studies used single items of self-report questionnaires for assessing suicidality. The nature and degree of support provided to individuals at risk of suicide varied and only one intervention comprised suicide-specific content.Limitations: Most experts referred to research on interventions with some level of human support (e.g. written feedback) which might limit the representativeness of the results of the interviews for unguided interventions.Conclusions: Suicidality is often treated more as an exclusion criterion rather than a treatable condition in research on IBIs for depression. Human gene GLIS family zinc finger 2 (GLIS2) is a member of GLI-similar zinc finger protein family. Previous studies indicated GLIS2 gene involved in tumorigenesis mechanisms. However, the association between GLIS2 expression and radiosensitivity of gastric cancer has not been well understood. In this study, we used the gastric cancer database in TCGA, and significant association was observed between the low expression of GLIS2 and radiosensitivity of patients with gastric cancer. The adjusted HR values for radiotherapy were 0.162(0.035-0.756) and 0.089(0.014-0.564), with p values 0.021 and 0.010, respectively, in training and testing data, for these patients with low expression of GLIS2, while for patients with high expression of GLIS2, there was no significant survival difference between radiotherapy and nonradiotherapy groups. The adjusted HR were 0.676(0.288-1.586) and 0.508(0.178-1.450), with p values 0.368 and 0.206 in training and testing data, respectively. Further study showed that, for low expression patients, radiotherapy did not significantly increase new tumor event rate and disease progression rate, which partially supported our assumption. These results suggested that low expression of GLIS2 might significantly associate with the radiosensitivity of patients with gastric cancer. One way to improve treatment effects of chronic pain is to identify and improve control over mechanisms of therapeutic change. One treatment approach that includes a specific proposed mechanism is acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with its focus on increasing psychological flexibility (PF). The aim of the present study was to examine the role of PF as a mechanism of change in ACT. This is based on mediation analyses of data from a previously reported randomized controlled trial, evaluating the effectiveness of an ACT-based online intervention for chronic pain (ACTonPain). We performed secondary analyses on pretreatment, posttreatment, and follow-up data from 302 adults, receiving a guided (n = 100) or unguided (n = 101) version of ACTonPain, or allocated to the waitlist control group (n = 101). Structural equation modelling and a bias-corrected bootstrap approach were applied to examine the indirect effects of the treatment through pretreatment and posttreatment changes in the latent construct reflecting PF. The latent construct consisted of data from the Chronic Pain Acceptance Questionnaire and the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire. The outcomes were pretreatment to follow-up changes in pain interference, anxiety, depression, pain, and mental and physical health. Structural equation modelling analyses revealed that changes in PF significantly mediated pretreatment to follow-up changes in all outcomes in the intervention groups compared with waitlist (standardized estimates ranged from I0.16I to I0.69I). Global model fit yielded modest but acceptable results. Findings are consistent with the theoretical framework behind ACT and contribute to growing evidence, supporting a focus on PF to optimize treatment effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study re-investigated data of a randomized controlled trial on Internet-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for chronic pain (ACTonPain). Baseline psychological inflexibility was examined as a moderator of the outcome pain interference. In the ACTonPain trial, participants with chronic pain were randomized to one of three conditions: guided Internet-based ACT (n = 100), unguided Internet-based ACT (n = 101), and waitlist (n = 101). Moderation analyses were performed with the SPSS macro PROCESS. Pain interference according to the Multidimensional Pain Inventory (MPI) was the primary outcome in this trial, and the potential moderator psychological inflexibility was measured with the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (AAQ-II). Psychological inflexibility at baseline moderated the outcome between guided Internet-based ACT and waitlist 9-weeks as well as 6-months after randomization. (both p < 0.05). Between unguided Internet-based ACT and waitlist, psychological inflexibility moderated the outcome 6-months after randomization (p < 0.05). Internet-based ACT was superior to waitlist for participants with less psychological inflexibility at baseline, but Internet-based ACT became increasingly comparable to waitlist at higher AAQ-II baseline values.
