The solubility of albendazole (ABZ) in a binary system of ethanol and water were determined experimentally by using a static analytical method within the temperature range (288.95 to 317.25) K under atmospheric pressure (p = 0.1 MPa). It was observed that the solubility of ABZ is not only depended on temperature but also related to the mole fraction of ethanol. Additionally, the obtained solubility data were correlated by employing the CNIBS/R-K model, the modified Apelblat equation and the Jouyban–Acree model. The modified Apelblat equation was proven to give good representation of the experimental solubility data. On the base of the measured solubility, the thermodynamic properties of the dissolution process were calculated. Dissolution of ABZ in these mixed solvents is endothermic, non-spontaneous and enthalpy-driving. This study provides useful information for the design and development of dosage forms of ABZ. Kidney diseases have become a global public health problem. The application of kidney‐targeted drug‐delivery systems in the management of kidney diseases has profound transformative potential. Kidney‐targeted drug delivery can reduce the undesired side effects of often potent drugs and enhance drug efficacy in alleviating the kidney disease. Here, we review the literature on the potential strategies for targeting drugs to the kidneys. Specifically, we provide a broad overview of the targeting vectors and targeting pathways for renal tubules and glomeruli, as well as how the unique structural features of the glomerulus and the receptor‐mediated internalization pathways of the tubules allows for drug targeting. Finally, we summarized the literature examples of drug delivery to the kidneys and elaborated strategies suitable for renal targeting to provide new therapeutic approaches for kidney diseases. The article presents a study which examines the antiplasmid, antibiofilm, and antimicrobial activity of water extract from duchesnea india against three isolates such as escherichia (E.) coli, salmonella, and staphylococcus aures. The study uses replica plating method and microtiter-plate test. The study shows that water extract has an impact on the formation of biofilm under different concentrations.

The article focuses on the study which examines the distribution and resistance of integron-cassettes in the Escherichia coli enteric strains from intestinal tract of healthy food-animals. Among the techniques that were used in the study are microdilution method, multi-polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and PCR-sequencing. Results show that isolated strains were found severely resistant to anti-infective agents.

Introduction: Pseudorabies virus (PRV) is the pathogenic virus of porcine pseudorabies (PR), belonging to the Herpesviridae family. PRV has a wide range of hosts and in recent years has also been reported to infect humans. N 6 -methyladenosine (m 6 A) modification is the major pathway of RNA post-transcriptional modification. Whether m 6 A modification participates in the regulation of PRV replication is unknown., Methods: Here, we investigated that the m 6 A modification was abundant in the PRV transcripts and PRV infection affected the epitranscriptome of host cells. Knockdown of cellular m 6 A methyltransferases METTL3 and METTL14 and the specific binding proteins YTHDF2 and YTHDF3 inhibited PRV replication, while silencing of demethylase ALKBH5 promoted PRV output. The overexpression of METTL14 induced more efficient virus proliferation in PRV-infected PK15 cells. Inhibition of m 6 A modification by 3-deazaadenosine (3-DAA), a m 6 A modification inhibitor, could significantly reduce viral replication., Results and Discussion: Taken together, m 6 A modification played a positive role in the regulation of PRV replication and gene expression.
