Notorious zinc dendrite growth and hydrogen precipitation reactions disrupt the galvanic/stripping process at the electrolyte/electrode interface, which seriously affects the cycling stability of zinc anodes in aqueous zinc ion batteries. To improve the stability and reversibility of zinc anodes, we report an artificial SEI consisting of hydrophobic carbon nanocrystals and highly conductive carbon nanotube networks. This interfacial hydrophobicity effectively excludes free water from the surface of the zinc anode, which prevents water erosion and reduces the interfacial side reactions, resulting in a significant improvement in the cycling stability and coulombic efficiency of Zn plating/stripping. Benefiting from the reversible proton storage and fast desolvation kinetic behavior of the CNC/CNT interlayer, the stable cycling time of Zn/Zn symmetric batteries exceeds 700 h even at a high current density of 5 mA cm−2. The assembled CNC/CNT@Zn‖V2O5 full cell maintains a high capacity of 101.1 mA h g−1 after 5000 cycles (1.0 mA g−1). This study opens up a new area for expanding the use of organic compounds in zinc anode protection and offers a promising strategy for accelerating the development of aqueous zinc-ion batteries. Constructing artificial heterointerfaces in the complex oxides composites to enhance and explore new functionalities have been attracting extensive scientific attentions. It is of great significant to clarify the role of heterointerfaces on the functional properties. In this study, the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/NiO heterointerfaces were constructed in self-assembled epitaxial (La0.7Sr0.3MnO3)0.5:NiO0.5 (LSMO:NiO) nanocomposite thin films by the method of pulsed laser deposition (PLD). The effect of LSMO/NiO heterointerfaces on the magnetic and electrical transport properties were studied by changing the geometric distribution of heterointerface and interfacial area. Interestingly, enhanced magnetoresistance (MR) with room temperature range at a low magnetic field of 1 T can be regulated by LSMO/NiO heterointerfaces. The mechanism of artificial electronic phase separation formed by LSMO/NiO heterointerfaces was proposed to explain the enhanced room temperature MR effect. Background: Most acute cerebral infarctions (ACI) may develop vascular dementia (VD), which involves almost all types of cognitive impairment. Unfortunately, there is currently no effective treatment for VD. Most patients exhibit mild cognitive impairment (MCI) before the development of VD. N-butyl-phthalide (NBP) is used to treat ACI and improve cognitive function. The oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD) model of neurons is an in vitro model of ischemia, hypoxia, and cognitive dysfunction., Methods: We conducted clinical studies and in vitro experiments to investigate the clinical efficacy and mechanism of action of NBP for treating ACI-induced MCI. Patients with ACI-induced MCI were randomly divided into control (Ctrl) and NBP groups. We assessed various indicators, such as clinical efficacy, montreal cognitive assessment scale (MOCA), activities of daily living (ADL), and cerebral infarct size in both groups before and after treatment. We observed the morphology of neurons and detected the survival rate, action potentials (APs), expression of high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), and the interaction between TLR4 and HMGB1., Results: The MOCA and ADL scores increased significantly after treatment in the NBP group. A OGD model of neurons was established, and the neurons were divided into Ctrl and NBP groups. We observed that the survival rate and APs amplitude of the neurons were significantly increased in the NBP group, whereas TNF-α expression was decreased. Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of F0 ATP synthase C subunit (Csub) in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD)., Methods: The 101 patients with chest pain admitted to the department of emergency of the People's Hospital of Yuhuan from May 2019 to December 2020 were enrolled, including 59 patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and 42 patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). At the same time, 50 age-matched healthy subjects in the health examination center were selected as the healthy control (HC). All patients had completed blood sampling before the intervention of drugs or other intervention measures in the emergency room. The content of serum Csub was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the relationship between Csub and clinical characteristics was analyzed. At the same time, the contents of hypersensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) and MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK-MB) in blood were detected by electrochemical luminescence. The receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC curve) was drawn to evaluate the value of Csub, hs-cTnT, and CK-MB in the early diagnosis of IHD., Results: The baseline data such as age, gender, and history of the three groups were balanced. There were significant differences in low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), CK-MB, hs-cTnT and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), but there were no significant differences in other biochemical indexes. The Csub content in the AMI group and the UAP group were significantly higher than those in the HC group [8.96% (6.37%, 11.53%), 4.27% (3.23%, 6.49%) vs. 1.56% (1.07%, 2.33%), both P < 0.01]. Moreover, the Csub in the AMI group with more severe myocardial ischemia was higher than UAP group [8.96% (6.37%, 11.53%) vs. 4.27% (3.23%, 6.49%), P < 0.01]. A total of 59 patients with AMI were treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). According to the median of Csub, AMI patients were subdivided into above-median group (29 cases) and below-median group (30 cases). The results showed that there were no significant differences in the number of coronary artery lesion branches, the number of stent implantation and postoperative medication between the two groups. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) and 95% confidence interval (95%CI) of Csub, hs-cTnT and CK-MB in the diagnosis of IHD were 0.98 (0.95-1.00), 0.99 (0.99-1.00), 0.94 (0.89-0.99), respectively. The diagnostic efficacy of Csub was slightly lower than that of hs-cTnT but higher than that of CK-MB. When the cut-off value of Csub was 4.74%, the sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of IHD were 100% and 87.0%, respectively., Conclusions: Csub increased significantly in the serum of IHD patients, and further increased with the severity of ischemia. It can be used as a new diagnostic biomarker for the diagnosis and evaluation of the development of myocardial ischemia.
