2. Using Mobile Apps for Health Management: A New Health Care Mode in China

Abstract

BackgroundChina has a large population; however, medical resources are unevenly distributed and extremely limited, and more medical services are needed. With the development and ever-increasing popularity of mobile internet communication, China has created a mode of mobile health (mHealth) care to resolve this problem. ObjectiveThe aim of this study was (1) to describe the problems associated with China’s medical care practice, (2) explore the need for and the feasibility of internet-based medical care in China, and (3) analyze the functionality of and services offered by internet-based health care platforms for the management of chronic diseases. MethodsData search was performed by searching national websites, the popular search engine Baidu, the App Store, and websites of internet medical care institutions, using search terms like “mobile health,” “Internet health,” “mobile medical,” “Internet medical,” “digital medical,” “digital health,” and “online doctor.” A total of 6 mobile apps and websites with the biggest enrollment targeting doctors and end users with chronic diseases in China were selected. ResultsWe recognized the limitations of medical and health care providers and unequal distribution of medical resources in China. An mHealth care platform is a novel and efficient way for doctors and patients to follow up and manage chronic diseases. Services offered by these platforms include reservation and payment, medical consultation, medical education assessment, pharmaceutical and medical instruments sales, electronic medical records, and chronic disease management. China’s health policies are now strongly promoting the implementation of mHealth solutions, particularly in response to the increasing burden of chronic diseases and aging in the population. ConclusionsChina's internet-based medical and health care mode can benefit the populace by providing people with high-quality medical resources. This can help other countries and regions with high population density and unevenly distributed medical resources manage their health care concerns.

9. Neighbor2vec: an efficient and effective method for Graph Embedding

Abstract

Graph embedding techniques have led to significant progress in recent years. However, present techniques are not effective enough to capture the patterns of networks. This paper propose neighbor2vec, a neighbor-based sampling strategy used algorithm to learn the neighborhood representations of node, a framework to gather the structure information by feature propagation between the node and its neighbors. We claim that neighbor2vec is a simple and effective approach to enhancing the scalability as well as equality of graph embedding, and it breaks the limits of the existing state-of-the-art unsupervised techniques. We conduct experiments on several node classification and link prediction tasks for networks such as ogbn-arxiv, ogbn-products, ogbn-proteins, ogbl-ppa,ogbl-collab and ogbl-citation2. The result shows that Neighbor2vec's representations provide an average accuracy scores up to 6.8 percent higher than competing methods in node classification tasks and 3.0 percent higher in link prediction tasks. The neighbor2vec's representations are able to outperform all baseline methods and two classical GNN models in all six experiments.

23. Ulrich Bundles on Projective Spaces

Abstract

We assume that $\mathcal{E}$ is a rank $r$ Ulrich bundle for $(P^n, \mathcal{O}(d))$. The main result of this paper is that $\mathcal{E}(i)\otimes \Omega^{j}(j)$ has natural cohomology for any integers $i \in \mathbb{Z}$ and $0 \leq j \leq n$, and every Ulrich bundle $\mathcal{E}$ has a resolution in terms of $n$ of the trivial bundle over $P^n$. As a corollary, we can give a necessary and sufficient condition for Ulrich bundles if $n \leq 3$, which can be used to find some new examples, i.e., rank $2$ bundles for $(P^3, \mathcal{O}(2))$ and rank $3$ bundles for $(P^2, \mathcal{O}(3))$., Comment: 11 pages, 1 figure

Abstract

The capacitive energy‐storage capacity of most emerging devices rapidly diminishes with increasing temperature, making high‐temperature dielectrics particularly desirable in modern electronic systems. In this work, calcium niobate (Ca2Nb3O10, CNO) nanosheets have been added into poly(vinylidene fluoride‐hexafluoropropylene) (P(VDF‐HFP), PVHP), forming PVHP/CNO nanocomposites with exceptional temperature stability and ultrahigh energy storage density. Especially, at 80°C and 450 MV/m, the PVHP/0.3 wt%CNO nanocomposite shows an excellent Wrec of 10.81 J/cm3 which is higher than previous PVDF‐based composite films at high temperatures. Because of the high dielectric permittivity of CNO nanosheets and the way that the parallel organization of the nanosheets blocks the course of electrical trees, nanocomposites exhibit greater dielectric constants and breakdown field strengths simultaneously. These findings, will be helpful in the development of flexible, high‐energy‐density capacitors that have stable performance at high temperatures. Abstract

In this paper, we classify the minimal surfaces of general type with $\chi=5$, $K^{2}=9$ whose canonical map is composed with an involution. We obtain 6 families, whose dimensions in the moduli space are 28, 27, 33, 32, 31 and 32 respectively. 33. Water droplet energy harvesting

Abstract

Harnessing abundant kinetic water energy in diverse forms of river flows, ocean waves, tidal currents, raindrops, and others, is highly attractive to ease the energy crisis and satisfy the demands of scattered sensor network nodes in the Internet of things. Among them, raindrops, widely and ubiquitously distributed in nature and ambient living life, have been extensively explored and regarded as significant renewable energy carriers. Extensive efforts have been made to investigate droplet-based electricity nanogenerators in fundamental mechanism, performance, and applications for achieving sustainable energy demands of the rapidly developing society over the past decade. In this review, we introduce the remarkable progress in this field and discuss the fundamental mechanisms of droplet energy harvesting technology for achieving high-power generation. More significantly, a systematic review of droplet energy harvesting in different two-phase interfaces, including liquid–solid, liquid–liquid, and liquid–gas interfaces, is provided. Finally, this survey reveals that droplet-based electricity generators present vast potential in the power supply. At the same time, several development challenges and prospective solutions are discussed to spur future technological advancements. © 2024 The Authors.
