The fully supersymmetric AKNS spectral problem with four superfields proposed by Morosi and Pizzocchero is considered. This is a hybrid problem of the classical AKNS and supersymmetric AKNS spectral problems. Under the assumption that Darboux matrices are linear with respect to the spectral parameter, three Darboux transformations and the corresponding Bäcklund transformations are constructed. Through proper reductions, we obtain Darboux transformations for the coupled supersymmetric nonlinear Schrödinger and coupled supersymmetric modified Korteweg–de Vries equations, and recover the Darboux transformations for Manin-Radul supersymmetric Korteweg–de Vries equation and supersymmetric AKNS hierarchy, respectively. The first Darboux-Bäcklund transformation is further applied to construct integrable discrete super systems, and both semi-discrete and fully discrete systems are obtained. The associated continuum limits are studied as well.

We investigate the integrability of Euler–Lagrange equations associated with 2D second-order Lagrangians of the form $$\begin{aligned} \int f(u_{xx},u_{xy},u_{yy})\ \mathrm{d}x\mathrm{d}y. \end{aligned}$$ ∫ f ( u xx , u xy , u yy ) d x d y . By deriving integrability conditions for the Lagrangian density f, examples of integrable Lagrangians expressible via elementary functions, Jacobi theta functions and dilogarithms are constructed. A link of second-order integrable Lagrangians to WDVV equations is established. Generalisations to 3D second-order integrable Lagrangians are also discussed.

Volumetric absorptive microsampling (VAMS), a new microsampling technique, was evaluated for its potential in supporting regulated bioanalysis. Our initial assessment with MK-0518 (raltegravir) using a direct extraction method resulted in 45-52% extraction recovery, significant hematocrit (Ht) related bias, and more importantly, unacceptable stability (>15% bias from nominal concentration) after 7-day storage. Our investigation suggested that the observed biases were not due to VAMS absorption, sampling techniques, lot-to-lot variability, matrix effect, and/or chemical stability of the compound, but rather the low extraction recovery. An effort to improve assay recovery led to a modified liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) method that demonstrated more consistent performance, minimal Ht impact (Ht ranged from 20 to 65%), and acceptable sample stability. The same strategy was successfully applied to another more hydrophilic model compound, MK-0431 (sitagliptin). These results suggest that the previously observed Ht effect and "instability" were in fact due to inconsistent extractability, and optimizing the extraction recovery to greater than 80% was critical to ensure VAMS performance. We recommend adding Ht-independent recovery as part of feasibility assessment to de-risk the long-term extractability-mediated stability bias before implementing VAMS in regulated bioanalysis.

The hyperbolic range equation model (HREM) and equivalent squint range model (ESRM) are applied in traditional chirp scaling algorithm (CSA). However, these range models cannot describe the satellite range history in the high-resolution case accurately because of the long azimuth integration time. The non-negligible phase error caused by this will lead the targets distort. In this paper, a modified chirp scaling algorithm (MCSA) is proposed by introducing a novel high-precision range model. A more accurate signal spectrum is calculated through it. Then, the modified chirp scaling factor, range compression filter, range cell migration correction (RCMC) filter and azimuth compression filter can be derived based on this signal spectrum, and the focused target obtained at last. Finally, the experimental results, to validate the proposed algorithm, adopted by the sliding spotlight synthetic aperture radar (SAR) simulation are provided.

The molecular basis of the pungency of sanshool dietary components from the Zanthoxylum species has been firstly addressed by constructing the statistically significant and highly predictive quantitative structure-pungency relationship models along with the pharmacophore models. The important pungent structural characters in the isobutylamide moiety and linear carbon chains were elucidated in this study that maintained the suitable spatial packing and electrostatic interactions with their receptors. Our results also revealed that the amide moiety, N-isobutyl moiety with suitable bulky and restricted electronegative substituents, and the relatively long straight carbon chains with suitable (conjugated) C C bonds or heteroatoms at regular intervals were essential for the high pungency. The pungency of 42 new sanshools was predicted, compared with the rough experimental data, and ultimately classified into weak, medium and strong types. Most of these sanshools were found to have good oral bioavailability and acceptable pharmacokinetic properties.

It is very important to estimate the prevalence of inadequate health literacy and determine whether or not health literacy level differences predict the physical and mental health status of older adults. A cluster sampling method was selected. A total of 1396 older adults were interviewed. Three instruments were included: the Chinese Citizen Health Literacy Questionnaire, Short Form 36, and Activity of Daily Living (ADL) Scale. The health literacy scores were very low (71.74 ± 28.35). The physical and mental health scores were all moderate. The ADLs was ⩾22, which suggests that the ADLs of older adults were poor. The major influencing factors of physical health include health literacy, ADL, alcohol consumption, household income, marital status, and former occupation. The major factors influencing mental health included ADL, former occupation, age, and smoking. Health literacy was associated with physical health, but was not associated with mental health. Improving health literacy could increase health management and health status of older adults.

Wide swath space borne SAR has great application value for ship situation monitoring in wide swath sea surface, global forest survey, natural disaster monitoring and earth surface deformation measurement [1]. Traditional space borne SAR uses ScanSAR or TOPS to achieve wider imaging swath. For example, German TerraSAR-X [2] can achieve an imaging swath of 100km under the 18 meter resolution. ESA's Sentinel-1 [3] can achieve the imaging swath of 400km at a 20~40 meter resolution. In order to solve the contradiction between resolution and range imaging swath, Currie and Brown proposed the DPCA Technology [4]. Suess proposed HRWS Technology (taking advantage of SCORE method) [5], which can further enhance the imaging width on the premise of maintaining the resolution. At the same time, Freeman proposed a SweepSAR technique for reflector antennas to improve the width of the imaging swath [6]. In this paper, a Space borne SAR design method based on DPCA and SweepSAR is proposed, and the optimal antenna size design method suitable for wide swath imaging mode is given. A design scheme of the phased array antenna based on the GaN TR component technology and the fast switching beam control unit technology during the radar echoes receiving window is designed. Finally, through simulation, the width of the sun-synchronous orbit satellites, this design can achieve one-day revisit under the condition of a proper optimization of satellite orbit. In addition to a few countries such as Russia, Canada, USA, China, India and other big countries, it can nearly achieve 100% coverage and imaging of most of countries' territory in only one passing by, and has a very vast application prospect.

Ahstract- The industrial cyber-physical production system contains a variety of heterogeneous devices and models, which increase the complexity of system design, particularly in software programming. Although the proposed model-driven engineering (MDE) is applied to industrial automation for this issue, the inherent complex dependencies and constraints between models and the availability of suitable tools for code generation limit the application of the model-driven approach in practice, especially as the system becomes more enormous. The component-based design (CBD) approach, which is a bottom-up approach, in contrast to the MDE that is top-down, is proposed to manage the complexity of software aspect based on the idea that building a system from existing components instead of the scratch. However, CBD can't provide the whole system model, so other ways should be adopted to design the system structure in advance. This paper presents an integrated design approach based on the combination of CBD and MDE to realize auto-design for cyber-physical production systems.

In this paper, we propose and study integrable discrete systems related to the classical Boussinesq system. Based on elementary and binary Darboux transformations and associated Bäcklund transformations, both full-discrete systems and semi-discrete systems are constructed. The discrete systems obtained from elementary Darboux transformation are shown to be the discrete systems of relativistic Toda lattice type appeared in the work of Suris (1997) and the ones from binary Darboux transformations are two-component extensions of the lattice potential KdV equation and Kac–van Moerbeke equation. For these discrete systems, their different continuum limits, various interesting reductions and Darboux–Bäcklund transformations are considered. Some solutions such as discrete resonant solitons are also presented.

Within the context of industry 4.0, the personalized customization requires the manufacture more agile and flexible, which means the reconfigurable manufacturing system is crucial for enterprise to remain competitive. However, most of the existing systems have to suspend when reconfiguring, as the online reconfiguration may lead system to disorder and uncertainty. To minimize the leading time of reconfiguration while ensuring system stability, this paper proposes a solution based on an industrial pipeline structure by utilizing IEC 61499 Function Blocks combined with Multi-agent systems and ontology. And a simulation is conducted to verify the effectiveness of this solution.

This paper proposes an improved Genetic Algorithm (IGA) — combined with ontology module to solve dynamic job shop scheduling problem (DJSSP). The objective function of this scheduling problem is to minimize a weighted sum method of maximum complete time (makespan) and mean waiting time to periodically plan production. This scheduling method is applied to a flexible manufacturing system. A reschedule strategy is utilized to solve dynamic disturbances happened during manufacturing process. Experimental results show that schedule can be repaired efficiently and correctly without obviously affecting the scheduling performance.

The increasing new product variants force the manufacturing enterprise to take a short time in adjusting the automatic assembly line rapidly, but it seems a challenging task. Realizing integration of information technology and manufacturing technology is the very essence of new manufacturing schema. This paper introduces an ontology-based modeling and application method to test the feasibility of manufacturing system. This work uses the SPARQL query and update technology to reflect the accurate entities' state and obtain device information. The predefined rules are used to build the corresponding rule repository according to the practical product process and knowledge base. A reasoning engine is utilized to infer facts about the assembling environment from the formalized knowledge model and decide whether the current environment can support the given assembling requirements. The result shows the ontology technology is useful for the assembly line of manufacturing system.

In this paper, we consider a supersymmetric AKNS spectral problem. Two elementary and a binary Darboux transformations are constructed. By means of reductions, Darboux and Backlund transformations are given for the supersymmetric modified Korteweg-de Vries, sinh-Gordon, and nonlinear Schrodinger equations. These Darboux and Backlund transformations are adopted for the constructions of integrable discrete super systems, and both semidiscrete and fully discrete systems are presented. Also, the continuum limits of the relevant discrete systems are worked out.

This paper presents an approach to enabling ontology-based web service integration for flexible manufacturing systems based on industry 4.0 demonstration production line. The mass personalized customization requires increased agility and flexibility in manufacturing systems to adapt incessant changes in manufacturing environments and requirements. The fundamental for this method lies in the incorporation of knowledge expressed by ontologies concerning order, products, industrial equipment, manufacturing process, event and service. It is a significant method to use ontology for representing manufacturing knowledge in a computer-interpretable way. This knowledge model can be used by automated decision-making to configure the control component that monitors and harmonizes the whole manufacturing system. The semantic model of the flexible manufacturing systems can be automatically updated based on event notifications sent by the specialized web services. The architecture and knowledge model have been demonstrated in a pilot case named industry 4.0 demonstration production line and can be applied to other flexible manufacturing systems.

The increasing pressures faced by manufacturers, the shortening of innovation cycles and the growing importance of high-efficiency manufacturing demand a higher versatility of factory automation. In order to achieve this target, engineering tasks currently performed manually need to be automated. In this case, ontologies emerge as a significant method for representing manufacturing knowledge in a machine-interpretable way. This knowledge can then be used by automated problem-solving methods to reconfigure the control software that coordinates and supervises manufacturing systems. Besides, Ontology can play a very important role in the process of creating as well as managing the knowledge. This paper addresses the important issues in developing domain-specific ontology for manufacturing used in industry 4.0 demonstration production line. A generic ontology is developed considering all the aspects about product from customized order to resulting production.

With the rapid economic development of China and the improvement of people’s living standards, municipal plastic waste (MPW) has increasingly become a major problem for cities in China. The generation of plastic waste is a system which integrates social, economical and environment factors. There is a certain guiding significance for the determination of urban plastic waste management priorities to research MPW generation with the background of the regional development of the city. As the capital of China, Beijing develops with a typically regional characteristic. This article establishes a generation system model for MPW by the method of system dynamics, and takes Beijing as an example to simulate and forecast the MPW generations of four functional areas on scenarios. The data used in the model were mainly obtained from statistical materials and on-site survey. The results showed a better regulating effect of the generation of MPW of Beijing under an integrated control scenario. In terms of space, MPW generation of the urban function extended districts generated the largest amount of plastic waste, with the largest growth rate; the proportion of MPW generation of the new districts of urban development increased significantly. In terms of generation source, the resident communities source generated the largest amount of the MPW. Based on the results, some suggestions on MPW management are put forward.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics and treatment effects of an ανβ3 integrin inhibitor on bone turnover and disease activity in men with hormone-refractory prostate cancer (HRPC) and bone metastases. Methods: A total of 21 patients with bone metastases and HRPC were randomized to receive MK-0429 200 mg b.i.d. or 1600 mg b.i.d. for 4 weeks. Toxicity, pharmacokinetics and markers of bone turnover and tumor activity were examined. Results: Nausea was the most common adverse event: one (200-mg group) and 11 (1600-mg group) patients. At 4 weeks, mean AUC0–12 h was 210 mmol*h (200-mg group) and 673 mmol*h (1600-mg group); mean Cmax values were 42 mmol/L (200-mg group) and 154 mmol/L (1600-mg group). Urinary cross-linked N-telopeptides of type I collagen to creatinine ratio (uNTx), a bone turnover biomarker, showed a change from baseline of −43.4 percent (200-mg group) and −34.1 percent (1600-mg group). There was an increase in serum prostate specific antigen (PSA), a marker for disease activity, of 54.1 percent (200-mg group) and 44.5 percent (1600-mg group). Conclusion: MK-0429 was generally well tolerated, with the most common side-effect being nausea. There was some evidence of an early reduction of bone turnover, indicating a potential for clinical use in the treatment of MBD although serum PSA was unexpectedly increased during the study.

Recently, 2-(dibutylamino)ethanol (DBAE) was reported to be a more efficient co-reactant than the widely used tripropylamine (TPrA) for electrochemiluminescence (ECL) of Ru(bpy) 3 2 + . Therefore, the new Ru(bpy) 3 2 + /DBAE ECL system seemed to be great potential for its application in analytical chemistry. Dopamine (DA) was found to be able to inhibit the ECL of Ru(bpy) 3 2 + /DBAE system. Under the optimum conditions, the logarithmic plot of the inhibited ECL versus the concentration of DA was linear in the range of 5 × 10 −10 –7 × 10 −7 M with the detection limit of 4.0 × 10 −11 M. A mechanism based on the quenching of reductive-form DBAE by DA-oxidation products was proposed, which was quite different from the mechanism for Ru(bpy) 3 2 + /TPrA/DA system reported previously.

Combined with digital beam forming (DBF), multichannel synthetic aperture radar (MC-SAR) in azimuth can achieve high-resolution and wide-swath (HRWS) SAR imaging. However, inevitable channel errors lead to a great degradation of DBF performance in practice. To address this problem, a novel channel phase error calibration algorithm is proposed in this letter. Theoretical analysis reveals that the signal of the reference channel can be reconstructed from those of other channels. Although signal cancellation can be roughly realized by using this reference signal and the original signal, there are still residues due to the existence of channel phase errors. Therefore by minimizing the difference between these two signals, the channel phase errors can be precisely derived. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is validated by experimental results.

A sensitive and selective method for the determination of a compound with activity at the benzodiazepine site of GABA‐A receptors (I, 3‐(5‐methyl‐isoxazol‐3‐yl)‐6‐(1‐methyl‐1H‐[1,2,3]triazol‐4‐yl‐methoxy)‐[1,2,4]‐triazolo[3,4‐A] phthalazine) and its active 5‐hydroxymethyl‐isoxazole metabolite (II) has been developed. The method is based on high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with tandem mass spectrometeric (MS/MS) detection. The analytes (I and II) and internal standard (III) were isolated from human plasma by a 96‐well solid phase extraction technique using a Tomtec Quadra 96 system. The MS/MS detection was performed on a PE Sciex API 3000 tandem mass spectrometer interfaced with a heated nebulizer probe. This semi‐automated HPLC‐MS/MS method was validated in the concentration range of 0.1–25 ng/mL, with the lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) of 0.1 ng/mL for both analytes. A Darboux transformation is constructed for the generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system and the result is compared with the recent work of Geng and his collaborators [X. G. Geng et al., Phys. Rev. E 79, 056602 (2009) and X. G. Geng and G. L. He, J. Math. Phys. 51, 033514 (2010)]. It is shown that our Darboux transformation may be applied to three interesting reductions of the general system. In addition, the iteration of this Darboux transformation is worked out, and some solutions to the associated systems are obtained.

Purpose The kinesin spindle protein (KSP) is essential for separation of spindle poles during mitosis. Its inhibition results in mitotic arrest. This phase I trial examined safety, tolerability, dose-limiting toxicity (DLT), maximum tolerated dose (MTD), pharmacokinetic parameters, and anti-tumor activity of MK-0731, a potent inhibitor of KSP. Experimental design In part 1, patients with advanced solid tumors received MK-0731 intravenously over 24 h every 21 days starting at 6 mg/m2, escalating until MTD was reached. In part 2, patients with taxane-resistant tumors received the MTD. Plasma samples were collected to analyze the pharmacokinetics of MK-0731. Tumor response was evaluated using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) v1.0. Results In part 1, 21 patients (median age 63 years) were treated with MK-0731 at doses ranging from 6 to 48 mg/m2/24 h for median four cycles. The dose-limiting toxicity was neutropenia and the MTD was 17 mg/m2/24 h. At the MTD, AUC (±SD) was 10.5 (±7.3) μM × hour, clearance (±SD) was 153 mL/min (±84), and t1/2 was 5.9 h. In part 2, 22 patients received the MTD and there were no DLTs. Although there were no objective tumor responses, four patients (with cervical, non-small cell lung, and ovarian cancers) had prolonged stable disease. Conclusions MK-0731 at the MTD of 17 mg/m2/day every 21 days in patients with solid tumors had few grade 3 and 4 toxicities with the major DLTs at higher doses being myelosuppression. Anti-tumor efficacy was suggested by the length of stable disease in selected patients with taxane-resistant tumors.

Inhibited Ru(bpy) 3 2+ electrochemiluminescence by inorganic oxidants is investigated. Results showed that a number of inorganic oxidants can quench the ECL of Ru(bpy) 3 2+ /tri- n -propylamine (TPrA) system, and the logarithm of the decrease in ECL intensity (Δ I ) was proportional to the logarithm of analyte concentrations. Based on which, a sensitive approach for detection of these inorganic oxidants was established, e.g. the log–log plots of Δ I versus the concentration of MnO 4 − , Cr 2 O 7 2− and Fe(CN) 6 3− are linear in the range of 1 × 10 −7 to 3 × 10 −4 M for MnO 4 − and Cr 2 O 7 2− , and 1 × 10 −7 to 1 × 10 −4 M for Fe(CN) 6 3− , with the limit of detection (LOD) of 8.0 × 10 −8 M, 2 × 10 −8 M, and 1 × 10 −8 M, respectively. A series of experiments such as a comparison of the inhibitory effect of different compounds on Ru(bpy) 3 2+ /TPrA ECL, ECL emission spectra, UV–Vis absorption spectra etc. were investigated in order to discover how these inorganic analytes quench the ECL of Ru(bpy) 3 2+ /TPrA system. A mechanism based on consumption of TPrA intermediate (TPrA · ) by inorganic oxidants was proposed.

In order to strengthen the management of municipal plastics waste, the amount, development trend and factors interactions of the generation should be studied. On the basis of studying the dynamic response relationship between the generation course and the ciety, economy and environment, this paper established a system dynamics model about the generation system of municipal plastics waste based on VENSIM software. Using Beijing as an example city, the simulations and prediction were conducted in scenarios the result of which was analyzed comprehensively, and the suggestions for the regulation and management of plastics waste were put forward.

This paper presents two techniques based on optical coherence tomography, the "focus tracking method" and the "optical path shifting method," for determining refractive index and thickness simultaneously, which are especially useful for bio tissues. From comparison of these two methods, it was found that the focus tracking method is suitable for in vivo measurement, but does not have high precision. The optical path shifting method is limited to in vitro measurement, but has high precision. Using the optical path shifting method, the refractive indices of cucumber were measured at the wavelength of 850 and 1300 nm.

Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) derived from Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) and its derivatives has been proven to be useful in diverse areas of analytical chemistry. Up to date most of the applications are based on coreactant ECL technology. However, little attention has been paid to the ECL inhibition between coreactants. In this paper, the ECL inhibition behavior between coreactants was systematically investigated. The results showed that ECL inhibition happened not only within the same type of coreactants, but also between two different types of coreactants. Interestingly, for some weak coreactants, the detection methods based on ECL inhibition were much more sensitive than those based on ECL enhancement. Therefore, it is envisioned to establish sensitive inhibited ECL detection methods for these weak coreactants. A possible ECL inhibition mechanism related to the consumption of coreactant intermediates without light emission is proposed.
