Let $ H $ be a subgroup of a finite group $ G $. We say that $ H $ satisfies the $ \Pi $-property in $ G $ if for any chief factor $ L / K $ of $ G $, $ |G/K : N_{G/K}(HK/K\cap L/K )| $ is a $ \pi (HK/K\cap L/K) $-number. In this paper, we obtain some criteria for the $ p $-supersolubility or $ p $-nilpotency of a finite group and extend some known results by concerning some subgroups that satisfy the $ \Pi $-property.

The hybrid skin-topological effect (HSTE) in non-Hermitian systems exhibits both the skin effect and topological protection, offering a novel mechanism for the localization of topological edge states (TESs) in electrons, circuits, and photons. However, it remains unclear whether the HSTE can be realized in quasicrystals, and the unique structure of quasicrystals with multi-site cells may provide novel localization phenomena for TESs induced by the HSTE. We propose an eight-site cell in two-dimensional quasicrystals and realize the HSTE with eight-site nonreciprocal intracell hoppings. Furthermore, we can arbitrarily adjust the eigenfield distributions of the TESs and discover domain walls associated with effective dissipation and their correlation with localization. We present a new scheme to precisely adjust the energy distribution in non-Hermitian quasicrystals with arbitrary polygonal outer boundaries.

The Moir\'e patterns generated by altering the structural parameters in a two or more layers of periodic materials, including single-layer structure, interlayer stacking, and twisting parameters, exhibit prosperous topological physical properties. However, the intricate characteristics of twisted nested Moir\'e patterns and their relationship with topological transitions remain unclear. In this Letter, based on the proposed twisted nested photonic crystal (TNPC), we derive its spatial geometric functions (SGFs), aperiodic-quasiperiodic-periodic properties in twisted nested Moir\'e patterns, and the SSH{\phi} Hamiltonian. We reveal the intrinsic correlation between twisted nested Moir\'e patterns and topological transitions, obtaining higher-order topological states (HOTSs) with C2z symmetry. This work will provide theoretical references for the design and application of twisted topological PC and their devices.

In this paper, we investigate how some subgroups satisfying the partial $\Pi$-property influence the structure of finite groups.

Fusion-based hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution aims to produce a high-spatial-resolution HSI by fusing a low-spatial-resolution HSI and a high-spatial-resolution multispectral image. Such a HSI super-resolution process can be modeled as an inverse problem, where the prior knowledge is essential for obtaining the desired solution. Motivated by the success of diffusion models, we propose a novel spectral diffusion prior for fusion-based HSI super-resolution. Specifically, we first investigate the spectrum generation problem and design a spectral diffusion model to model the spectral data distribution. Then, in the framework of maximum a posteriori, we keep the transition information between every two neighboring states during the reverse generative process, and thereby embed the knowledge of trained spectral diffusion model into the fusion problem in the form of a regularization term. At last, we treat each generation step of the final optimization problem as its subproblem, and employ the Adam to solve these subproblems in a reverse sequence. Experimental results conducted on both synthetic and real datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. We report the discovery of multiple topological phase transitions induced by the photonic quantum spin Hall effect (PQSHE) in a non-Hermitian photonic crystal (PhC). When increasing the magnitude of the non-Hermitian terms, the system undergoes transitions from topological corner states to topological edge states and subsequently to topological bulk states. The angular momentum of the wave function of the out-of-plane electric field excited by the chiral source acts as the pseudospin degree of freedom in the PQSHE. Therefore, we consider the introduction of chiral sources with different circular polarizations into non-Hermitian PhCs and observe the emergence of asymmetric field responses. These results are expected to enable the multi-dimensional manipulation of topological states, offering a new avenue for the detection of chiral sources.

In this paper, we study the influence of some $p$-subgroups of $G$ satisfying $\mathscr L $-$\Pi$-property on the structure of $G$.

Rational normal form is a powerful tool to deal with Hamiltonian partial differential equations without external parameters. In this paper, we build rational normal form with exact global control of small divisors. As an application to nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equations in Gevrey spaces, we prove sub-exponentially long time stability results for generic small initial data.

We examine the effects produced by replacing B-B interlayer bonds by C-C bonds in AlMgB14-related boron network on its mechanical properties. The elastic constants, Vickers hardness and shear strength are evaluated by means of first principle computer simulations on the basis of density functional theory. The results of simulations suggest a possibility of existence of several orthorhombic boron carbide phases with strongly enhanced mechanical properties with the Young modulus and Vickers hardness being within the range of 550-600 GPa and 43-50 GPa, respectively, Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures, 2 tables

Recently, the studies of topological corner states (TCSs) are extended from crystals to quasicrystals, which are referred to as higher-order topological quasicrystalline insulators (HOTQIs). However, the TCSs of complete quasi-periodic structure in photonic systems have yet to be demonstrated. Moreover, there is only one TCS in each corner region in higher-order topological insulators (HOTIs). Increasing the number of TCS is expected to increase application potential of TCSs. In this work, HOTQIs in photonic systems are experimentally observed. It is found that HOTQIs possess TCS arrays, and each TCS array contains several TCSs. Furthermore, the universal theoretical framework of the multimer analysis method is improved, and the difference in the average charge density is proposed as a real-space topological index. These results will open up new ideas for investigating highly integrated, multi-region localized TCSs and are expected to provide new ways to explore topological phenomena and the applications of photonic quasicrystals.

Hyperspectral image super-resolution addresses the problem of fusing a low-resolution hyperspectral image (LR-HSI) and a high-resolution multispectral image (HR-MSI) to produce a high-resolution hyperspectral image (HR-HSI). Tensor analysis has been proven to be an efficient method for hyperspectral image processing. However, the existing tensor-based methods of hyperspectral image super-resolution like the tensor train and tensor ring decomposition only establish an operation between adjacent two factors and are highly sensitive to the permutation of tensor modes, leading to an inadequate and inflexible representation. In this paper, we propose a novel method for hyperspectral image super-resolution by utilizing the specific properties of high-order tensors in fully-connected tensor network decomposition. The proposed method first tensorizes the target HR-HSI into a high-order tensor that has multiscale spatial structures. Then, a coupled fully-connected tensor network decomposition model is proposed to fuse the corresponding high-order tensors of LR-HSI and HR-MSI. Moreover, a weighted-graph regularization is imposed on the spectral core tensors to preserve spectral information. In the proposed model, the superiorities of the fully-connected tensor network decomposition lie in the outstanding capability for characterizing adequately the intrinsic correlations between any two modes of tensors and the essential invariance for transposition. Experimental results on three data sets show the effectiveness of the proposed approach as compared to other hyperspectral image super-resolution methods.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) needs to sense the environment to ensure safe flight, and the sensing accuracy and communication delay performance are two important indicators of safe flight. The strategy of using integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology to improve the sensing and communication performance is proposed in this paper. On the one hand, the extended kalman filter (EKF) algorithm is adopted to achieve the fusion of communication location information and sensing information to improve the accuracy of target sensing. On the other hand, a Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) method based on ISAC is proposed to reduce communication delay. Compared with the traditional IFF method, the integrated technology used for IFF can realize the radar sensing and communication interrogating functions in parallel, greatly shortening the sensing time. Simulation results show that using ISAC technology, the sensing performance of UAV has been greatly improved, the communication delay can be reduced by up to 50%, the accuracy of target sensing can be improved by 24.2% when communication location information and radar sensing information have the same sensing accuracy.
