Cavernous sinus thrombophlebitis (CST) is a rare disease that may be life-threatening. The overall morbidity and mortality of CST are still high although the introduction of antibiotics has greatly promoted the reduction of them, which mostly due to delayed treatment caused by misdiagnosis. CST with internal carotid artery thrombosis and multiple cerebral infarction secondary to chronic sphenoid sinusitis is rare, but it is essential to rapidly identify, diagnose and treat the disease, since it can lead to serious neurological sequelae. We encountered a patient with chronic sphenoid sinusitis-associated internal carotid artery thrombosis and multiple cerebral infarction, identified his vascular lesions using high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging, and discussed relevant diagnosis and treatment for him, his prognosis as well as the pathogenesis based on a literature review, hoping to inform clinical treatment of CST patients.

At present, one of the difficulties in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of tumors is to find specific targets and highly selective targeted inhibitors. Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a type Ⅱ transmembrane serine protease of the proline oligopeptidase family. A large number of studies have shown that FAP is overexpressed in cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs) of various tumor entities, and plays important a role in the growth, invasion, metastasis, angiogenesis and immune escape of tumor cells. This suggesting that FAP may become a specific target for tumor diagnosis and treatment. In addition to being highly expressed in inflammation and fibrosis-related diseases, FAP is not normally expressed in normal tissues and organs of adults, so radionuclide-labeled FAP inhibitors have low background activity and can obtain high-contrast images. This article mainly describes the research progress of radionuclide-labeled small molecule FAP inhibitors in terms of affinity, selectivity, structure-activity relationship, in vivo metabolism, and clinical research of FAP inhibitors, in order to benefit clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Eco-industrial parks, as complex ecosystems at the regional scale, involve multi-dimensional interactions in terms of management, environment, economy, and society in their development. Given their complexity, it is difficult for a single indicator to comprehensively assess their sustainable development status. To promote sustainability and inclusive development of industrial parks, the World Bank Group published "the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Park" as a green evaluation benchmark. This paper examines the applicability of this framework in Chinese industrial parks, focusing on 17 cases in Jiangxi Province supported by the China-Jiangxi Eco-Industrial Parks Project. This study analyzes the indicator composition of the international EIP framework and compares it with the standardization system of eco-industrial parks in China. Through questionnaire surveys and dialogue interviews, this paper analyzed the compliance, practicality, and necessity of implementing the international EIP framework. Quantitative assessment using the analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model revealed that the framework is well suited to Chinese conditions, scoring over 80, reaching the "applicability level". This research provides a scientific basis for park management, advocating for international concepts in park development. It also underscores the importance of a comprehensive framework for park construction, intelligent management strategies, and enterprise empowerment, collectively contributing to sustainable park development and enhanced international competitiveness. Current researchis focused on the influence of β-aminobutyric acid (BABA) on the metabolism of nitric oxide (NO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ascorbic acid, and abscisic acid (ABA) in strawberry fruit. The increases in ion leakage and malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration in strawberry fruit and the degradation of chlorophyll in the sepals of the fruit were markedly inhibited by BABA at 20 mM. BABA-immersed fruit exhibited lower activities and expressions of polygalacturonase (PG), pectinmethylesterase (PME), and ethylene biosynthetic enzymes compared to the control. Furthermore, BABA immersion evidently upgraded the metabolic levels of NO and H2S, including the enzymatic activities and intermediary contents of metabolites, which collectively enhanced the levels of endogenous NO and H2S contents in strawberry fruit. The high enzymatic activities and gene expressions of the AsA biosynthesis pathway jointly maintained AsA accumulation in the BABA-treated sample. The application of BABA led to a decrease in ABA concentration, which was associated with reduced activities and gene expression levels of key enzymes participating in ABA metabolism. Our experimental observations showed that immersion with BABA may be a highly promising means to delay senescence and reduce natural decay in strawberry fruit, and the alleviation in senescence using BABA may be attributed to the modulation of NO, H2S, AsA, and ABA metabolism.
