Background Minimal change disease (MCD) is the major cause of childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, which is characterized by massive proteinuria and debilitating edema. Proteinuria in MCD is typically rapidly reversible with corticosteroid therapy, but relapses are common, and children often have many adverse events from the repeated courses of immunosuppressive therapy. The pathobiology of MCD remains poorly understood. Prior clinical observations suggest that abnormal T-cell function may play a central role in MCD pathogenesis. Based on these observations, we hypothesized that T-cell responses to specific exposures or antigens lead to a clonal expansion of T-cell subsets, a restriction in the T-cell repertoire, and an elaboration of specific circulating factors that trigger disease onset and relapses. Methods To test these hypotheses, we sequenced T-cell receptors in fourteen MCD, four focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and four membranous nephropathy (MN) patients with clinical data and blood samples drawn during active disease and during remission collected by the Nephrotic Syndrome Study Network (NEPTUNE). We calculated several T-cell receptor diversity metrics to assess possible differences between active disease and remission states in paired samples. Results Median productive clonality did not differ between MCD active disease (0.0083; range: 0.0042, 0.0397) and remission (0.0088; range: 0.0038, 0.0369). We did not identify dominant clonotypes in MCD active disease, and few clonotypes were shared with FSGS and MN patients. Conclusions While these data do not support an obvious role of the adaptive immune system T-cells in MCD pathogenesis, further study is warranted given the limited sample size. The airworthiness development status of civil aircraft in China was taken as the starting point of review. The airworthiness alternative methods of compliance method of the materials used in civil aircraft products were sorted out, and the relevant provisions requirements of materials used in civil aircraft products such as civil aircraft, engines and helicopters in China’s civil airworthiness regulations were analysed. In the process of materials airworthiness conformity verification, the establishment of standards (specifications) based on statistical analysis is the core of material conformity verification. MOC1, MOC2, MOC4 methods are mainly used to verify airworthiness conformity of materials approved with the model. Facing the future, the application of materials with independent intellectual property rights, the construction of materials independent verification technology and capacity are the key to realize the industrialization development of advanced civil aircraft.

Alfin-like proteins (ALs) form a plant-specific transcription factor (TF) gene family involved in the regulation of plant growth and development, and abiotic stress response. In this study, 30 ALs were identified in Brassica napus ecotype 'Zhongshuang 11' genome (BnaALs), and unevenly distributed on 15 chromosomes. Structural characteristic analysis showed that all of the BnaALs contained two highly conserved domains: the N terminal DUF3594 domain and the C-terminal PHD-finger domain. The BnaALs were classified into four groups (Group I-IV), supported by conserved intron–exon and protein motif structures in each group. The allopolyploid event between B. oleracea and B. rapa ancestors and the small-scale duplication events in B. napus both contributed to the large BnaALs expansion. The promoter regions of BnaALs contained multiple abiotic stress cis-elements. The BnaALs in I-IV groups were mainly expressed in cotyledon, petal, root, silique, and seed tissues, and the duplicated gene pairs shared highly similar expression patterns. RNA-seq and RT-qPCR analysis showed that BnaALs were obviously induced by low nitrogen (LN) and low phosphorus (LP) treatments in roots. Overexpressing BnaAL02 and BnaAL28 in Arabidopsis demonstrated their functions in response to LN and LP stresses. BnaAL28 enhanced primary roots' (PRs) length and lateral roots' (LRs) number under LP and LN conditions, where BnaAL02 can inhibit LR numbers under the two conditions. They can promote root hair (RH) elongation under LP conditions; however, they suppressed RH elongation under LN conditions. A key factor affecting the energy storage performance of antiferroelectric materials is their electrical breakdown strength. Nanocomposition is one of the effective methods to improve the electrical breakdown strength of dielectric thin films. In this study, PbZrO3‒Al2O3 nanoparticle composite films were prepared by combining chemical solution deposition of PbZrO3 and vacuum evaporation deposition of Al, and the influence of size and distribution of Al2O3 nanoparticles (NPs) on electrical properties was investigated. The results show that the Al2O3 NPs are distributed in a layered form on the PZO matrix, and their distribution can be controlled by changing the thickness of PZO coatings. As the coating thickness decreases and the coating interface increases, the distribution of Al2O3 NPs becomes more uniform, resulting in a significant increase in maximum polarization and electrical breakdown strength, and a decrease in leakage current density, thereby enhancing the energy storage performance of the PbZrO3-Al2O3 composite films. The results indicate that the regulation of the microstructure of dielectric composite films is of great significance for improving their energy storage performance. It is necessary to develop excellent sensors for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) detection from the perspective of environmental protection and human health. Luminescent lanthanide metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) have many advantages such as porosity, luminescence, and structural controllability, making them very suitable as luminescent sensing materials. Based on a functional oriented strategy, novel Ln‐MOFs are successfully constructed and their structure and properties are characterized in detail. A series of vapor luminescence sensing tests have shown that Eu/Tb doped L1‐Eu0.1/Tb0.9 not only exhibits high selectivity for alcohols, especially ethanol vapor, but also has high sensitivity and extremely low detection limit (9.76 mg L−1). To the knowledge, there are no reports on ratio luminescence sensors based on Ln‐MOFs for ethanol vapor, especially those with such excellent performance. Crystal structure determination demonstrates that ethanol binds to the framework through multiple hydrogen bonding interactions, altering the energy transfer efficiency between Tb3+ and Eu3+ to achieve ratio luminescence detection. In addition, L1‐Eu0.1/Tb0.9 has good repeatability, the prepared thin film sensing material also demonstrates the advantages of portability and processability. BackgroundThe patient with ulcerative colitis (UC) in remission has a long course of disease, and needs a long-term maintenance treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has proved to be partially effective in treating UC in remission, but the efficacy of Jianpiqingrehuashi granular decoction (JPQRHSGD) against UC in remission is not yet clear.ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of JPQRHSGD with mesalamine versus mesalamine in the treatment of UC in remission using an N-of-1 trial.MethodsAn N-of-1 trial was conducted between June 2020 and March 2021. Participant was an outpatient with UC in remission with spleen deficiency-induced dampness-heat syndrome who was selected from the First Affiliated Hospital, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. The patient received a treatment program, namely four rounds of treatment without washout consisting of eight cycles〔each round includes two cycles, that was, one-month intervention treatment (use of JPQRHSGD with mesalamine) alternating with one-month control treatment (taking mesalamine only) 〕. Efficaciesof two types of treatment were evaluated by of the TCM Syndrome Score (TCMSS) , Bristol Stool Form Scale (BSFS) , visual analogue scale (VAS) for abdominal pain and diarrhea, and Short Health Scale (SHS) . Mn-based phosphors with the wavelength of 700–750 nm are an important category of far-red phosphors that have promising potential in the application of plant lighting, and the higher ability of the far-red light emitting of the phosphors is beneficial to plant growth. Herein, a series of Mn4+- and Mn4+/Ca2+-doped double perovskite SrGd2Al2O7 red-emitting phosphors with wavelengths centered at about 709 nm were successfully synthesized by means of a traditional high-temperature solid-state method. First-principles calculations were conducted to explore the intrinsic electronic structure of SrGd2Al2O7 for a better understanding of the luminescence behavior in this material. Extensive analysis demonstrates that the introduction of Ca2+ ions into the SrGd2Al2O7:Mn4+ phosphor has significantly boosted the emission intensity, internal quantum efficiency, and thermal stability by 170%, 173.4%, and 113.7%, respectively, which are superior to those of most other Mn4+-based far-red phosphors. The mechanism of the concentration quench effect and the positive effect of co-doping Ca2+ ions in the phosphor were extensively explored. All studies suggest that the SrGd2Al2O7:0.1%Mn4+, 11%Ca2+ phosphor is a novel phosphor that can be used to effectively promote the growth of plants and regulate the flowering cycle. Objective: Winter-over expeditioners in Antarctica are challenged by various environmental and psycho-social stress factors, which may induce psychophysiological changes. The autonomic nervous system (ANS) plays a crucial role in the adaptation process under stress. However, the relationship between ANS activity and the mood states of expeditioners remains largely unexplored. This study aims to uncover the pattern of ANS adjustment under extreme Antarctic environments and provide new insights into the correlations between ANS activity and mood state changes, which may provide scientific data for medical interventions. Methods: Fourteen expeditioners at Zhongshan Station participated in this study. The study was conducted during four representative periods: pre-Antarctica, Antarctica-1 (pre-winter), Antarctica-2 (winter), and Antarctica-3 (summer). The heart rate variability (HRV) of the expeditioners was continuously measured for 24 hours to evaluate ANS activity. Plasma levels of catecholamines were tested by ELISA. Mood states were assessed by the Profile of Mood States (POMS) scale. Results: HRV analysis showed a disturbance of ANS during winter and summer periods. For frequency domain parameters, very low frequency (VLF), low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), and total power (TP) significantly increased during the second half of the mission. Especially, LF/HF ratio decreased during summer, indicating the predominance of vagal tone. Results of the time domain analysis showed increased heart rate variability during the austral winter and summer. Plasma epinephrine (E) significantly increased during residence in Antarctica. Compared with pre-Antarctica, the vigor, depression, and anger scores of the expeditioners decreased significantly during the austral summer. Notably, the depression score showed a moderate positive correlation with LF/HF, while weak negative correlations with other HRV indicators, including TP, VLF, and LF. Anger score showed a moderate positive correlation with LF/HF and weak negative correlations with the average normal-to-normal (NN) interval, and the root mean square of differences between adjacent RR intervals (RMSSD). Plasma E level weakly correlated with the average NN interval. Conclusion: Prolonged residence in Antarctica increased the ANS activities and shifted the cardiac autonomic modulation towards vagal predominance.
