2. Entanglement dynamics in $\kappa$-deformed spacetime

Abstract

We treat two identical and mutually independent two-level atoms that are coupled to quantum field as an open quantum system. The master equation that governs their evolution is derived by tracing over the degree of freedom of field. With this, we comparatively study the entanglement dynamics of the two atoms moving with different trajectories in $\kappa$-deformed spacetime and Minkowski spacetime. It is found that when there is no the environment-induced interatomic interaction, the entanglement dynamics of two static atoms in $\kappa$-deformed spacetime are reduced to the case in Minkowski spacetime in the case that the spacetime deformation parameter $\kappa$ is huge enough as theoretically predicted. However, if the atoms undergo relativistic motion, no matter inertial or non-inertial, their entanglement dynamics in $\kappa$-deformed spacetime behave quite differently with that in Minkowski spacetime even $\kappa$ is huge. We investigate various entanglement behaviors, such as decay and generation, and discuss how different relativistic motion, such as uniform motion in a straight line and circular motion, amplifies the difference of entanglement dynamics between the $\kappa$-deformed spacetime case and the Minkowski spacetime case. Besides, when the environment-induced interatomic interaction is considered, we find that it may also enhance the difference of entanglement dynamics between in these two spacetimes. So, in principle, one can tell whether he is in $\kappa$-deformed spacetime or in Minkowski spacetime by checking the entanglement behaviors between two atoms in certain circumstances., Comment: 41 pages, 16 figures

8. Satellite-based continuous-variable quantum key distribution under the Earth's gravitational field

Abstract

Long distance communication protocols cannot ignore the existence of the Earth's gravitational field and its effects on quantum states. In this work, we show a very general method to consider the effects of the Earth's gravitational field on continuous-variable quantum key distribution protocols. Our results show that the Earth's gravitational field erodes the ability of the two parties to perform QKD in all the protocols. However, our findings also exhibit some interesting features, i.e., the key rates initially increase for a specific range of height parameter $h\simeq r_A/2$ and then gradually decrease with the increasing of the orbits of satellite $h$. A possible explanation is also provided in our analysis, considering the fact that gravitational frequency shift and special relativistic effects play different roles in the key rates. In addition, our findings show that the change in key rate effected by gravitational frequency shift can be determined at a level of $<1.0\%$ within the satellite height at geostationary Earth orbits. 9. Does relativistic motion always degrade quantum Fisher information?

Abstract

We investigate the ultimate estimation precision, characterized by the quantum Fisher information, of a two-level atom as a detector which is coupled to massless scalar field in the Minkowski vacuum. It has been shown that for an inertial detector moving with a constant velocity, its quantum Fisher information is completely unaffected by the velocity, however, it still decays over time due to the decoherence caused by the interaction between the atom and the field. In addition, for a uniformly accelerated detector ($w=0$) moving along spatially straight line, the accelerated motion will reduce the quantum Fisher information in the estimation of state parameters. However, when the detector trajectory is generated by a combination of the linear accelerated motion and a component of the four-velocity $w=dy/d\tau$, we find quite unlike the previous results that, for the non-relativistic case $(w\ll1)$, the acceleration could degrade the quantum Fisher information, while the four-velocity component will suppress the degradation of the quantum Fisher information, and thus could enhance the precision of parameters estimation. Furthermore, in the case for ultra-relativistic velocities $(w\rightarrow\infty)$, although the detector still interacts with the environment, it behaves as if it were a closed system as a consequence of relativity correction associated to the velocity, and the quantum Fisher information in this case can be shield from the effect of the external environment, and thus from the relativistic motion., Comment: 10 pages, 9 figures, published in PRD. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1304.4237, arXiv:1902.00967 by other authors

Abstract

Given that the conventional blockchain model for the fruit and vegetable supply chain has the problems of insufficient depth of traceability information, insufficient data correlation, and low query efficiency, a graph blockchain model was proposed in this study. Firstly, the graph theory was used to improve the block data structure of the traditional blockchain and change the storage structure of the sequence table in the traditional blockchain structure into a graph structure that can facilitate the storage of in-depth traceability information for associated storage of deep traceability information. Then, the mapping relationship between physical block data and graph block chain model was established through a graph block chain mapping model, and according to the logical structure of the fruit and vegetable supply chain, the graph block data structure was established. Customized design of smart contracts for graph blockchain data storage, query and authority management was performed to ensure the reliability of supply chain data. Finally, the graph blockchain model was developed based on the XuperChain platform and its performance was experimentally compared with that of the traditional blockchain. The results showed that the graph blockchain allows deep traceability of the fruit and vegetable supply chain and greatly improves the efficiency of data query, which can provide a new method and idea for the traceability information storage and fast query of the fruit and vegetable supply chain based on blockchain.

19. Optimal estimation of parameters for scalar fields in expanding universe exhibiting Lorentz invariance violation

Abstract

We address the optimal estimation of quantum parameters, in the framework of local quantum estimation theory, for a massive scalar quantum field in the expanding Robertson-Walker universe exhibiting Lorentz invariance violation (LIV). The information about the history of the expanding spacetime in the presence of LIV can be extracted by taking measurements on the entangled state of particle modes. We find that, in the estimation of cosmological parameters, the ultimate bounds to the precision of the Lorentz-invariant massive scalar field can be improved due to the effects of LIV under some appropriate conditions. We also show that, in the Lorentz-invariant massive scalar field and massless scalar field due to LIV backgrounds, the optimal precision can be achieved by choosing the particles with some suitable LIV, cosmological and field parameters. Moreover, in the estimation of LIV parameter during the spacetime expansion, we prove that the appropriate momentum mode of field particles and larger cosmological parameters can provide us a better precision. Particularly, the optimal precision of the parameters estimation can be obtained by performing projective measurements implemented by the projectors onto the eigenvectors of specific probe states., Comment: 14 pages, 12 figures

Abstract

We investigate the radiative processes of a quantum system composed by two identical two-level atoms in the de Sitter spacetime, interacting with a conformally coupled massless scalar field prepared in the de Sitter-invariant vacuum. We discuss the structure of the rate of variations of the atomic energy for two static atoms. Following a procedure developed by Dalibard, Dupont-Roc and Cohen-Tannoudji, our intention is to identify in a quantitative way the contributions of vacuum fluctuations and the radiation reaction to the generation of quantum entanglement and to the degradation of entangled states. We find that when the distance between two atoms larger than the characteristic length scale, the rate of variation of atomic energy in the de Sitter-invariant vacuum behaves differently compared with that in the thermal Minkowski spacetime. In particular, the generation and degradation of quantum entanglement can be enhanced or inhibited, which are dependent not only on the specific entangled state but also on the distance between the atoms., Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures. 24. Inhibiting decoherence of two-level atom in thermal bath by presence of boundaries

Abstract

We study, in the paradigm of open quantum systems, the dynamics of quantum coherence of a static polarizable two-level atom which is coupled with a thermal bath of fluctuating electromagnetic field in the absence and presence of boundaries. The purpose is to find the conditions under which the decoherence can be inhibited effectively. We find that without boundaries, quantum coherence of the two-level atom inevitably decreases due to the effect of thermal bath. However, the quantum decoherence, in the presence of a boundary, could be effectively inhibited when the atom is transversely polarizable and near this boundary. In particular, we find that in the case of two parallel reflecting boundaries, the atom with a parallel dipole polarization at arbitrary location between these two boundaries will be never subjected to decoherence provided we take some special distances for the two boundaries., Comment: 9 pages, 8 figures

26. Protecting quantum coherence of two-level atoms from vacuum fluctuations of electromagnetic field

Abstract

In the framework of open quantum systems, we study the dynamics of a static polarizable two-level atom interacting with a bath of fluctuating vacuum electromagnetic field and explore under which conditions the coherence of the open quantum system is unaffected by the environment totally. For both a single-qubit and two-qubit systems, we find that the quantum coherence can not be protected from noise when the atom interacts with a non-boundary electromagnetic field. However, with the presence of a boundary, the dynamical conditions for the insusceptible of quantum coherence are fulfilled only when the atom is close to the boundary and is transversely polarizable. Otherwise, the quantum coherence can only be protected in some degree in other polarizable direction., Comment: 7 pages, 2 figures

However, most of existing models are overly simplified by neglecting the poroelasticity of rock matrix, which may have a substantial effect on the growth of hydraulic fractures, especially in oil and/or water saturated formations. In this study, we developed a fully coupled finite element model for hydraulic fracture propagation in permeable formations by combining XFEM technique with cohesive zone model, and used it to investigate the effects of poroelasticity on the geometry evolution of single fracture which initiated from an injection point. Fluid flow within the fractures, Darcy flow within the rock matrix, hydraulic fractures propagation, and fluid leak-off into the formation are simultaneously taking into account in the model. Then, the model is validated by comparing the results with available analytical solutions. To understand and quantify the poroelastic effects on the propagation of hydraulic fracture, several cases with different matrix permeability, leak-off coefficients, and bulk modulus of pore fluid are performed. The simulation results show that the total volume of leakage is controlled by the combined action of matrix permeability and leak-off coefficient. The fracture aperture and length decrease with the increase of matrix permeability or leak-off coefficient, while as the bulk moduli of pore fluid increases, the fracture aperture and length tend to increase.

29. Repeatability of Pentacam-derived intraocular lens decentration measurements and the level of agreement with OPD-Scan III: A prospective observational case series.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the repeatability of intraocular lens (IOL) decentration measurements obtained through Pentacam, based on corneal topographic axis (CTA) and pupillary axis (PA), and to evaluate the level of agreement between Pentacam and OPD-Scan III devices in measuring IOL decentration. Methods: In this prospective observational case series, three measurements were performed with Pentacam to evaluate the repeatability of the measurements. The analysis included the calculation of the mean and standard deviations (SD), conducting a repeated measures analysis of variance (rANOVA), and determining an intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) to assess the repeatability of the measurements. Moreover, Bland-Altman analysis was employed to assess the agreement between Pentacam and OPD-Scan III devices in measuring IOL decentration. IOL decentration measurements were obtained with respect to both CTA and PA. Results: A total of 40 eyes from 40 patients were analyzed. The rANOVA revealed no significant difference among three consecutive measurements of IOL decentration obtained with Pentacam. The mean SD of all parameters ranged from 0.04 mm to 0.07 mm. With CTA as the reference axis, the ICC values for Pentacam measurements of IOL decentration were 0.82 mm for the X-axis, 0.76 mm for the Y-axis, and 0.82 mm for spatial distance. When using PA as the reference axis, the corresponding ICC values were 0.87, 0.89, and 0.77, respectively. The 95% limits of agreement for all IOL decentration measurements were wide when comparing Pentacam and OPD-Scan III. Conclusions: Pentacam demonstrated high repeatability in measuring IOL decentration with respect to both CTA and PA. Abstract

Accurately evaluating dust deposition characteristics on photovoltaic modules is vital for improving power generation prediction and formulating cleaning cycles. This study analyzed the composition and size characteristics of dust collected from a solar photovoltaic power station in the Kubuqi Desert. Relationships were established among dust density, solar cell output parameters, actual radiation intensity, and spectral transmittance through experiments. Based on this, a monitoring model for dust deposition on PV modules was proposed and validated in the laboratory. Results showed that the composition and particle size of dust deposited on PV modules did not significantly differ across various areas of the station.Under the same dust deposited density, spectral transmittance exponentially decayed with increased dust density, with shorter wavelengths being more affected. Operating current loss accurately reflected dust deposition compared to other output parameters. The proposed monitoring model achieved 94% accuracy in reflecting the degree of dust deposition. Abstract

[Objective] A lightweight SE-PPM algorithm (SAPMDSNet) was proposed to solve the problems of slow speed, misclassification and difficulty in feature extraction in traditional positive and subgroup classification of natural state tobacco leaves. [Method] Based on the lightweight ShuffleNetV2 net-work, the training speed of the network model was accelerated by reducing the network convolution depth and evolving the activation function. Then, the channel attention SE module was introduced to enhance the haracteristic differences between channels, improve the representation ability of the network model and a-void the group misclassification caused by the regionalization. Finally, the pyramid pooling module PPM was embedded to integrate the exposure characters and global information by aggregating context information, and the in-house tobacco leaf data set was used and compared with other models. [Result] The SAPMDSNet network model achieved relatively high classification results with accuracy of 91.09% and FLOPs of 151.70 M. Compared with the original ShuffleNetV2 model and the lightweight GhostNet model, the FLOPs were slightly increased by 2.65% and 2.84%, and the accuracy was increased by 2.72% and 21.13 %, respectively. MobileNetV2, DenseNet and SqueezeNet achieved recognition accuracies of 87.02%, 89.53% and 87.60%, which were close to the proposed model, but their FLOPs were significantly higher. [Conclusion] The constructed SAPMDSNet network model improved the classification accuracy of positive and sub-group tobacco leaves in natural state with better overall performance, which provides a new method for primary screening of tobacco leaves. Considering the complexity of technological processes, the serious coupling between multiple processes and the difficulties in optimizing process parameters during the process manufacturing, a multi-process technological parameter fusion optimization method was proposed based on LSTM neural network, XGBoost algorithm and IPSO algorithm. A data preprocessing model was established based on LSTM neural network, and the time series characteristics of processing data were extracted through LSTM neural network, which realized the processing of outlier in process data. And a PSO-XGBoost quality prediction model was constructed by fitting the nonlinear relationship between processing parameters and quality indexes with XGBoost and combining with particle swarm optimization algorithm. Then the output of the quality prediction model was taken as the fitness, and the improved particle swarm algorithm was used for trolling the global optimal processing parameters, which realized the fusion optimization of the quality of process manufacturing. Abstract

We demonstrate an integral gated mode single photon detector at telecom wavelengths. The charge number of an avalanche pulse rather than the peak current is monitored for single-photon detection. The transient spikes in conventional gated mode operation are canceled completely by integrating, which enables one to improve the performance of single photon detector greatly with the same avalanche photodiode. Based on the ANSYS finite element software,the method of dividing the contact area of the four point contact ball bearing is proposed. Establish a uniform thin four point contact ball bearing 1/2 single rolling and ring and the bearing finite element model. Calculation and analysis of the grid cell size on contact characteristics of four point contact ball bearing accuracy influence and solve the bearing finite element model in the static radial force load distribution rules and obtained the thin-walled four point contact ball bearing,the more precise the elliptic contact area shape and four point connected contact state. Research shows that: for the calculation of the contact characteristics and the size of mesh generation approximate to 50 percent of the semi minor axis of the contact ellipse can get more precise results,for thin walled four point contact ball bearings,ball and the inner and outer rolling contact should force,the equivalent force and contact deformation and radial load is nonlinear ascending relationship,contact force and load distribution of the calculated results with the Hertz contact theory should be calculated values are in good agreement. The calculation results are more accurate to simulate the contact characteristics and load distribution of the thin wall four point contact ball bearing.

Abstract

Compared with the traditional permanent magnet eddy-current couplings,one with slotted conductor disk can force eddy current to flow under a designated route which can improve the transmitted torque and enhance the transmission performance of the device. But if a device with a unreasonable slot numbers or structure,the torque will decrease or the ripple will increase. So the over-all properties of the device will degradation,the regulation reliability will going harder. A comparative analysis of the number of the slot and structure is conducted. At the end,a reasonable slotted number is given and can provide an important reference for the design and application of the permanent magnet eddy-current coupling.
