Online teacher professional development (OTPD) opportunities are made available to teachers and draw increasing research attention. As the key characteristics of teachers' participation in OTPD, the frequency and quality of participation are increasingly concerned. However, the relationship between teacher participation frequency and participation quality is still unclear. Addressing this problem not only helps reveal teachers' participation patterns in OTPD, but also provides support for promoting teachers' online professional learning and improving OTPD organization and management. To identify teachers' participation patterns and the relationship between participation frequency and participation quality in OTPD, this study analyzed 5,064 log records of 415 teachers using lag sequential analysis, t-test, and Chi-square test. The findings indicated that teachers preferred shallow participation behaviors, such as sharing resources and experience, and seldom carried out deep participation/engagement behaviors (e.g., proposing knowledge topics, establishing teaching and research practices). Teachers with higher participation frequency had lower participation quality in OTPD and tended to repeat shallow participation behaviors. Finally, the study proposed some suggestions for better supporting teachers' participation in online professional development, such as strengthening the links between information sharing activities, knowledge construction activities, and teaching and research practices.

Teacher information literacy is an important aspect of teachers' professional development and is affected by the school environment. From the perspective of principals, this study discusses the impact of principals' information leadership (PIL), organizational climate (OC), and ICT implementation strategies (IMS) on teachers' information literacy (TIL) and further analyzes the complex system of TIL and the relationship between these factors. Through chain intermediary analysis, this study shows that teachers' information literacy is not only directly affected by their principals' information leadership but also indirectly affected by the chain intermediary effect of organizational climate and ICT implementation strategies. It provides insights into how to cultivate teachers' information literacy in the school system and puts forward some optimization paths to create the best conditions for improving teachers' information literacy.

Objective: The structure of CLPS1 (polysaccharide fraction 1 of Codonopsis lanceolata) was determined to provide a basis for the study of polysaccharide activity of C. lanceolata and the development of natural plant polysaccharides. Methods: After extraction, separation, and purification, the separation component CLPS1 was determined by gas chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, periodate oxidation, Smith degradation, and methylation analysis to determine the structure of CLPS1. Results: The specific rotation of CLPS1 is +44°, the content of the total polysaccharide is 97.6%, the uronic acid of CLPS1 is 13.18%, and the molecular weight of CLPS1 is 91.7. The monosaccharide component of CLPS1 contains Ara, Gal, Glc, GalA, The molar ratio is 2.7∶3.4∶2.3∶1.1∶0.5. Chemical composition and structure of polysaccharide CLPS1 was studied by infrared spectrum, NMR, partial hydrolysis with acid degradation, Smith, methylation and GC-MS. The results showed that monosaccharide compositions of CLPS1 contained GluA and pyranose, while pyranose included both α-pyranoside and β-pyranoside in structure. The backbone was composed of Ara and Gal, the brancd with Gal and the terminal residues of backbone with Glu. Branch point of Gal residues is linked by Glc (1→4，6); Gal (1→3，6); Gal contains 1→,1→3,1→4,1→6,1→3,6; Gal contains 1→, 1→3, 1→4, 1→6, 1→3, 6; Glc contains 1→,1→4,1→4,6; Ara contains 1→5; Galacturonic acid 1→3. Conclusion: CLPS1 is a complex acidic polysaccharide. The structure analysis of C. lanceolata polysaccharides is the basis for studying the structure-activity relationship of C. lanceolata polysaccharides, which is of great significance for understanding the biological activity and mechanism of C. lanceolata polysaccharides.

Altitude training has been widely adopted. This study aimed to establish a mice model to determine the time point for achieving the best endurance at the lowland. C57BL/6 and BALB/c male mice were used to establish a mice model of hypoxic training with normoxic training mice, hypoxic mice, and normoxic mice as controls. All hypoxic mice were placed in a chamber filled with 16% O2 and N2, and hypoxic training mice were trained for two weeks. Then mice were removed from the chamber and tested at normoxic conditions weekly at the beginning of the experiment and the second, third, fourth, and sixth weeks. The tests for endurance ability include maximal aerobic speed (MAS), Rota-rod, and grip strength. In addition, the open field, visual cliff, and Y maze were used to test cognitive abilities. Body composition and lactic acid tolerance level were also measured. For BALB/c but not C57BL/6 mice were evaluated for effectively training. Based on the average MAS of all mice, mice successfully passed the training according to the procedure: the first week (32%MAS/10min, 48%MAS/10min, and 64%MAS/10min) and second week (40%MAS/10min, 56%MAS/10min, and 72%MAS/10min). Hypoxic training mice reached peak rotarod performance on the 7th day post-training (Test 3), with significant improvements compared to Test 1, 2, 4, and 5. At Test 3, their rotarod scores significantly differed from both H and N groups, and showing a trend towards difference from NT group. Meanwhile, hypoxic mice showed significant cognitive impairment, anxiety, depression, muscle loss, and fat gain compared with hypoxic training mice after hypoxia intervation. Two consecutive weeks of 16% O2 training followed by one week of reoxygenation may be the best for endurance competition. Thus, we think a mouse model for hypoxic training was built, with Rota-rod testing as a detection indicator. Moreover, hypoxic training may alleviate the damage of hypoxia to the body. The development of highly efficient catalysts for selective hydrogenolysis of biomass-derived glycerol to 1,2-propanediol (1,2-PDO) remains an important and challenging target. Herein, we present a strategy to enhance γ-Al2O3 supported Co catalysts via Ag promotion. The Co/Al2O3 catalyst exhibits no catalytic activity for selective hydrogenolysis of glycerol without reduction pretreatment and low selectivity for 1,2-PDO after reduction pretreatment. With Ag promotion, the CoAg/Al2O3 catalyst can be reduced and activated in situ in the reaction system, demonstrating high catalytic activity and good selectivity for 1,2-PDO (∼90 mol%) under high-concentration reaction conditions with 80 wt% glycerol aqueous solution. Catalyst characterization using TEM, XPS, XRD, and H2-TPR reveals that Ag facilitates the in situ reduction of Co3O4 in the reaction system, which not only generates low-oxidizing-degree Co species (CoOx), but also induces a significant number of oxygen vacancies (Ovac.). A reaction mechanism is proposed based on the heterolytic cleavage of H2 to provide active Hδ− and Hδ+ species for the hydrogenolysis of the C–O bond in glycerol at the CoOx–Ovac. sites of the catalyst. Notably, Ag plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the excellent catalytic behaviour of the CoAg/Al2O3 catalyst for the hydrogenolysis reaction and simplifying catalyst preparation and maintenance by eliminating the reduction pretreatment. This study presents the first column-averaged dry-air mole fractions of carbon dioxide (XCO2), methane (XCH4) and carbon monoxide (XCO) in the coal mine aggregation area in Shanxi, China, using two portable Fourier transform infrared spectrometers (EM27/SUNs), in the framework of the Collaborative Carbon Column Observing Network (COCCON). The measurements, collected over two months, were analyzed. Significant daily variations were observed, particularly in XCH4, which highlight the impact of coal mining emissions as a major CH4 source in the region. This study also compares COCCON XCO with measurements from the TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument (TROPOMI) onboard the Sentinel-5P satellite, revealing good agreement, with a mean bias of 7.15 ± 9.49 ppb. Additionally, comparisons were made between COCCON XCO2 and XCH4 data and analytical data from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS). The mean biases between COCCON and CAMS were −6.43 ± 1.75 ppm for XCO2 and 15.40 ± 31.60 ppb for XCH4. The findings affirm the stability and accuracy of the COCCON instruments for validating satellite observations and detecting local greenhouse gas sources. Hemoglobin disorders are highly prevalent inherited hematological defects in Southern China. The identification of novel variants in globin genes and accurate assessment of hematological parameters play a crucial role in precise genetic counseling and clinical practice. Peripheral blood samples were collected for hematological analysis, including red blood cell and hemoglobin assessment, while serum ferritin levels were measured to detect iron depletion. Thalassemia carrier identification was conducted in four subjects admitted to Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital using next-generation sequencing and Gap-PCR due to the high prevalence of thalassemia in Jiangxi Province. The identified rare or novel small nucleotide variants were subsequently validated through Sanger sequencing. A total of four novel variants were identified incidentally in four unrelated subjects, including HBA1: c.300G > C (p.Lys100Asn), HBA2: c.212T > A (p.Val71Glu), HBB: c.28T > A (p.Ser10Thr) and c.167T > C (p.Met56Thr). The proband carrying the c.212T > A and c.300G > C variants exhibited normal hematological findings, while capillary electrophoresis revealed the presence of abnormal hemoglobin fractions at 22.4% and 10.9%. The subjects with variant HBB: c.28T > A and c.167T > C all demonstrated normal hematological findings and normal hemoglobin fraction as determined by capillary electrophoresis or ion exchange high-resolution liquid chromatography (HPLC). The two variants exhibiting abnormal fractions of hemoglobin were designated as Hb Jiangxi (HBA2: c.212T > A) and Hb Fulton (HBA1: c.300G > C). Meanwhile, HBB: c.28T > A and HBB: c.167T > C were referred to as Hb Yichun and Hb Jinxian, respectively. We here reported four novel variants in globin genes and their hematological findings in for unrelated Chinese individuals in Southern China. The escalating generation of household medical waste, a byproduct of industrialization and global population growth, has rendered its transportation and logistics management a critical societal concern. This study delves into the optimization of routes for vehicles within the household medical waste logistics network, a response to the imperative of managing this waste effectively. The potential for environmental and public health hazards due to improper waste disposal is acknowledged, prompting the incorporation of contamination risk, influenced by transport duration, waste volume, and wind velocity, into the analysis. To enhance the realism of the simulation, traffic congestion is integrated into the vehicle speed function, reflecting the urban roads' variability. Subsequently, a Bi-objective mixed-integer programming model is formulated to concurrently minimize total operational costs and environmental pollution risks. The complexity inherent in the optimization problem has motivated the development of the Adaptive Hybrid Artificial Fish Swarming Algorithm with Non-Dominated Sorting (AH-NSAFSA). This algorithm employs a sophisticated approach, amalgamating congestion distance and individual ranking to discern optimal solutions from the population. It incorporates a decay function to facilitate an adaptive iterative process, enhancing the algorithm's convergence properties. Furthermore, it leverages the concept of crossover-induced elimination to preserve the genetic diversity and overall robustness of the solution set. The empirical evaluation of AH-NSAFSA is conducted using a test set derived from the Solomon dataset, demonstrating the algorithm's capability to generate feasible non-dominated solutions for household medical waste recycling path planning. Comparative analysis with the Non-dominated Sorted Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (NSAFSA) and Non-dominated Sorted Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) across metrics such as MID, SM, NOS, and CT reveals that AH-NSAFSA excels in MID, SM, and NOS, and surpasses NSAFSA in CT, albeit slightly underperforming relative to NSGA-II. The study's holistic approach to waste recycling route planning, which integrates cost-effectiveness with pollution risk and traffic congestion considerations, offers substantial support for enterprises in formulating sustainable green development strategies. Background: Exanthematous drug eruption and infectious mononucleosis (IM) are both exanthematous diseases. Current research on exanthematous drug eruption and IM mainly targets identifying these disorders, the resulting differences at the metabolism level have not yet been systematically analyzed. Materials and methods: A total of 30 cases of exanthematous drug eruption and IM, 10 patients without exanthema and 10 healthy volunteers were enrolled, 3 mL of fasting venous blood was collected, the serum metabolite content was detected by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry metabolomics. Results: A total of 165 metabolites were identified, exhibiting significant differences in plasma metabolic trends between exanthematous drug eruption and IM, and pinpointed 28 potential biomarkers. Notable changes were seen in the metabolic activities of the pentose phosphate pathway (PPP), tricarboxylic acid cycle (TCA‐cycle), and galactose metabolism, characterized by increased levels of gluconate, gluconolactone, glucose, galactaric acid, and mannose, along with decreased amounts of pyruvic acid, succinic acid, malic acid, and glycerol, indicating an impairment in the exanthematous drug eruption group's capacity to endure oxidative stress and regulate energy metabolism. In contrast to its medication without rash counterpart, the exanthematous drug eruption group's plasma displayed distinct metabolic routes, predominantly in the processing of arginine and proline, along with the TCA. This resulted in a marked reduction in urea levels and a rise in pyruvate, citrate, and ornithine, indicating hypoxic stress as the primary cause of these rashes. In contrast to the healthy control group, the IM group showed 26 potential biomarkers, marked by increased levels of ketoglutaric acid, malic acid, pyruvic acid, and oxoglutaric acid, and reduced amounts of glutamine, galacturonic acid, arachidonic acid, trimethylphosphonic acid ester, gluconolactone, and indole acetic acid. Mainly, the metabolic pathways included the TCA, breaking down alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism, and the processing of D‐glutamine and D‐glutamate metabolism, underscoring the body's crucial role in generating energy and inflammatory agents through the citric acid cycle. Conclusions: The comparison of serum metabolomic features of exanthematous drug eruptions and IM outlines a unique pattern closely related to the differences in the pathogenesis of these two exanthematous diseases. Based on the conservation of resources theory, this study integrates the positive and negative aspects of the impact of servant leadership behaviors in the hospitality industry on leaders themselves. Using leaders' and followers' paired data from 346 employees nested in 101 teams and analyzed using path regression methods. The results reveal that servant leadership behaviors were positively related to the leader's ego depletion, and the leader's ego depletion was positively associated with the leader's intention to leave. Servant leadership behaviors were positively related to leaders' perceived work meaningfulness, and followers' agreeableness significantly moderated the relationship between servant leadership behaviors and leaders' ego depletion and the relationship between servant leadership behaviors and leaders' perceived work meaningfulness. These findings broaden our understanding of the effects of servant leadership behaviors and provide new ideas on how to intervene in the negative effects of servant leadership behaviors.
