Abstract

Recently, knowledge-enhanced pre-trained language models (KEPLMs) improve context-aware representations via learning from structured relations in knowledge graphs, and/or linguistic knowledge from syntactic or dependency analysis. Unlike English, there is a lack of high-performing open-source Chinese KEPLMs in the natural language processing (NLP) community to support various language understanding applications. In this paper, we revisit and advance the development of Chinese natural language understanding with a series of novel Chinese KEPLMs released in various parameter sizes, namely CKBERT (Chinese knowledge-enhanced BERT).Specifically, both relational and linguistic knowledge is effectively injected into CKBERT based on two novel pre-training tasks, i.e., linguistic-aware masked language modeling and contrastive multi-hop relation modeling. Based on the above two pre-training paradigms and our in-house implemented TorchAccelerator, we have pre-trained base (110M), large (345M) and huge (1.3B) versions of CKBERT efficiently on GPU clusters. 11. Evaluation Method for Pitting Failure of the Planetary Gear System Under Impact Conditions

Abstract

As the key structure of industrial reducers, the planetary gear system will be subject to cyclic load and impact load during the operation, which will cause metal fatigue peeling off the surface of gears and form pitting fault. When the system is subject to the impact load, the severe fluctuation of vibration signal will disturb the fault identification of the system. To solve this problem, a diagnostic index is developed based on the dynamic characteristics analysis of the planetary gear system with pitting fault under impact conditions. Firstly, the contact stiffness model of gear pairs is established based on the analytic geometry method and the Hertz contact theory. Secondly, the impact load is introduced, and the contact force between sun gears and planet gears is solved by the impact function method. Finally, based on the spectrum distribution of the system dynamic response signal, the energy index of the sideband centroid is proposed, which realizes the accurate identification of the fault impact and the load impact.

23. Composite of carbon dots and TiNiSn thermoelectric materials: Initial investigation on the electrical and thermal transport properties.

Abstract

TiNiCu0.025Sn0.99Sb0.01 is prepared using microwaves. However, an ultra-high electrical conductivity and electronic thermal conductivity are obtained by interstitial Cu and Sb doping, which could not effectively improve the ZT value. We introduce carbon dots (CDs) as a nano-second phase by ball milling to simultaneously optimize the thermoelectric properties. To our best knowledge, this is the first report on half-Heusler/CDs composites. Experimental results show that the introduction of nano-CDs optimizes the carrier concentration and mobility and dramatically improves the Seebeck coefficient through the energy filtering effect. The nano-CDs introduce more point defects, inhibit the grains growth, and form a specific carbon solid solution second phase in the matrix. The lattice thermal conductivity is reduced to the same level as TiNiSn at 1.96 W m−1 K−1 through the synergistic effect of point defects and phase and grain boundaries scattering, and the ZT value reaches a maximum of 0.63 at 873 K.
