Abstract Background The role of Mediator complex subunit 1 (MED1), a pivotal transcriptional coactivator implicated in diverse biological pathways, remains unexplored in the context of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). This study aims to elucidate the contributory mechanisms and potential impact of MED1 on the progression of OSCC. Methods The expression and clinical significance of MED1 in OSCC tissues were evaluated through the bioinformatics analyses. The effects of MED1 on the biological behavior of OSCC cancer cells were assessed both in vitro and in vivo. Dual-luciferase reporter assay, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assay, bioinformatic analysis, CD8+ T cell isolation experiment, coculture experiment, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and flow cytometric analysis were employed to elucidate the underlying mechanism through which MED1 operates in the progression of OSCC. Results MED1 exhibited upregulation in both OSCC tissues and multiple OSCC cell lines, which correlated with decreased overall survival in patients. In vitro experiments demonstrated that knockdown of MED1 in metastatic OSCC cell lines SCC-9 and UPCI-SCC-154 hindered cell migration and invasion, while overexpression of MED1 promoted these processes. Whereas, MED1 knockdown had no impact on proliferation of cell lines mentioned above. In vivo studies further revealed that downregulation of MED1 effectively suppressed distant metastasis in OSCC. Mechanistically, MED1 enhanced the binding of transcription factors c-Jun and c-Fos to the matrix metalloprotein 9 (MMP9) promoters, resulting in a significant upregulation of MMP9 transcription. This process contributes to the migration and invasion of SCC-9 and UPCI-SCC-154 cells. Furthermore, MED1 modulated the expression of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) through the Notch signaling pathway, consequently impacting the tumor-killing capacity of CD8+ T cells in the tumor microenvironment. Conclusions Our findings indicate that MED1 plays a pivotal role in OSCC progression through the activation of MMP9 transcription and suppression of CD8+ T cell antitumor immunity, suggesting that MED1 may serve as a novel prognostic marker and therapeutic target in OSCC.

In this work, a tachometer based on a Metglas/PZT/Metglas magnetoelectric (ME) composite was developed to achieve high-precision rotational speed measurement over a wide temperature range (−70 °C to 160 °C). The tachometer converts external magnetic signals into electrical signals through the ME effect and operates stably in extreme temperature environments. COMSOL Multiphysics software was used for simulation analysis to investigate the ME response characteristics of the composite in such environments. To evaluate the properties of the ME composite under different conditions, its response characteristics at various frequencies, DC bias, and temperatures were systematically investigated. A permanent magnet and a DC motor were used to simulate gear rotation, and the voltage output was analyzed by adjusting the position between the sensor and the DC motor. The results show that the measured values of the ME tachometer closely match the set values, and the tachometer demonstrates high measurement accuracy within the range of 480 to 1260 revolutions per minute (rpm). Additionally, the properties of the ME composite at different temperatures were examined. In the temperature range from −70 °C to 160 °C, the ME coefficients exhibit good regularity and stability, with the measured trend closely matching the simulation results, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the ME tachometer. To verify its practicality, the measurement capability of the ME tachometer was comprehensively tested under extreme temperature conditions. The results show that in high-temperature environments, the tachometer can accurately measure speed while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), demonstrating excellent anti-interference ability. The proposed ME tachometer shows promising application potential in extreme temperature conditions, particularly in complex industrial environments that require high reliability and precision.

Perturbation analysis of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation has been studied mostly on one-dimensional arrays rather than planar arrays, which remains room for exploration. For uniform circular arrays with various model errors, we establish the corresponding system model. Then a performance analysis of the two-dimensional MUSIC algorithm is proposed by first-order error analysis and verified by simulation. The results show that the root-mean-squared error of DOA estimation is proportional to the standard deviation of the model errors, including gain-phase errors, sensor position errors, and mutual coupling effect.

Abstract The ability of the adult mammalian heart to regenerate can save the cardiac muscle from a loss of function caused by injury. Cardiomyocyte regeneration is a key aspect of research for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The mouse heart shows temporary regeneration in the first week after birth; thus, the newborn mouse heart is an ideal model to study heart muscle regeneration. In this study, proteomic analysis was used to investigate the differences in protein expression in the hearts of neonatal mice at days 1 (P1 group), 4 (P4 group), and 7 (P7 group). Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis showed changes in several groups of proteins, including the protein kinase A (PKA) signaling pathway. Moreover, it was found that PKA inhibitors and agonists regulated cardiomyocyte replication in neonatal mouse hearts. These findings suggest that PKA may be a target for the regulation of the cardiomyocyte cell cycle.

Abstract Background Psoriasis is a common, chronic and relapsing immune-related inflammatory dermal disease. Patients with psoriasis suffering from the recurrences is mainly caused by immune response disorder. Thus, our study is aimed to identify novel immune subtypes and select targeted drugs for the precision therapy in different subtypes of psoriasis. Methods Differentially expressed genes of psoriasis were identified from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Functional and disease enrichment were performed by Gene Set Enrichment Analysis and Disease Ontology Semantic and Enrichment analysis. Hub genes of psoriasis were selected from protein–protein interaction networks using Metascape database. The expression of hub genes was validated in human psoriasis samples by RT-qPCR and immunohistochemistry. Further, novel immune subtypes of psoriasis were identified by ConsensusClusterPlus package and its association with hub genes were calculated. Immune infiltration analysis was performed, and its candidate drugs were evaluated by Connectivity Map analysis. Results 182 differentially expressed genes of psoriasis were identified from GSE14905 cohort, in which 99 genes were significantly up-regulated and 83 genes were down-regulated. We then conducted functional and disease enrichment in up-regulated genes of psoriasis. Five potential hub genes of psoriasis were obtained, including SOD2, PGD, PPIF, GYS1 and AHCY. The high expression of hub genes was validated in human psoriasis samples. Notably, two novel immune subtypes of psoriasis were determined and defined as C1 and C2. Bioinformatic analysis showed C1 and C2 had different enrichment in immune cells. Further, candidate drugs and mechanism of action that applicable to different subtypes were evaluated. Conclusions Our study identified two novel immune subtypes and five potential hub genes of psoriasis. These findings might give insight into the pathogenesis of psoriasis and provide effective immunotherapy regimens for the precise treatment of psoriasis.

Hypertensive heart disease (HHD) presents a substantial global health burden, spanning a spectrum from subtle cardiac functional alterations to overt heart failure. In this comprehensive review, we delved into the intricate pathophysiological mechanisms governing the onset and progression of HHD. We emphasized the significant role of neurohormonal activation, inflammation, and metabolic remodeling in HHD pathogenesis, offering insights into promising therapeutic avenues. Additionally, this review provided an overview of contemporary imaging diagnostic tools for precise HHD severity assessment. We discussed in detail the current potential treatments for HHD, including pharmacologic, lifestyle, and intervention devices. This review aimed to underscore the global importance of HHD and foster a deeper understanding of its pathophysiology, ultimately contributing to improved public health outcomes.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the dose-response relationship of admission fasting glucose (FBG) with corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mortality and to further evaluate potential interactions of hyperglycemia with inflammation and hypercoagulation on COVID-19 outcomes. Methods: This retrospective study included 2555 consecutively hospitalized patients with COVID-19, until death or discharge, in Wuhan Union hospital between January 1 and April 9, 2020. The poor early outcomes included admission to intensive care unit, intubation, and deaths occurring within 28 days. We used splines nested in Cox regression to visualize dose-response associations and generalized additive models to fit three-dimensional (3D) trend plots for joint effects of FBG with markers of inflammation and coagulation. Results: J-shaped associations existed between hospitalized mortality or poor early outcomes and FBG with a nadir at 5 mmol/L, which were more evident in women. 3D plots demonstrated significant joint effect trends, and patients with hyperglycemia and high neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio, C-reactive protein, lactate dehydrogenase, procalcitonin, d-dimer, and interleukin-6 had 7.4-25.3-fold risks; the proportions of joint associations attributed to additive interactions reached 30% to 54%. Conclusions: FBG was associated with hospitalized mortality and poor early outcomes in a J-shaped manner, and a combination of hyperglycemia, inflammation, hypercoagulation, and cytokines conferred a dramatically higher risk.

There are many factors that influence the academic achievements of medical students, but how personality and brain modulate the academic achievements of medical students remains unclear. The study collected the personality, brain imaging, and academic data from 448 medical students at Tianjin Medical University with admission time between 2008 and 2017. Four types of academic achievements, including behavioral and social sciences, clinical sciences and skills, basic biomedical sciences, and scientific methods, were assessed by the academic records of 58 courses. Personality was evaluated by Tridimensional Personality Questionnaire and Neuroticism Extraversion Openness Personality Inventory. Brain structural and functional properties, including gray matter volume, spontaneous brain activity and functional connectivity, were computed based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Linear regression was used to evaluate the associations between personality and academic achievements. A voxel-wise correlation was used to identify areas of the brain where structural and functional properties were associated with academic achievements. Mediation analysis was used to test whether brain properties and personality independently contribute to academic achievements. Our results showed that novelty seeking (NS) was negatively correlated, and conscientiousness was positively correlated with all types of academic achievements. Brain functional properties showed negatively correlated with academic achievement in basic biomedical sciences. However, we did not find any mediation effect of the brain functional properties on the association between personality (NS and conscientiousness) and academic achievement in basic biomedical sciences, nor mediation effect of the personality (NS and conscientiousness) on the association between brain functional properties and academic achievement in basic biomedical sciences. These findings suggest that specific personality (NS and conscientiousness) and brain functional properties independently contribute to academic achievements in basic biomedical sciences, and that modulation of these properties may benefit academic achievements among medical students.

BackgroundFamilial hypercholesterolemia (FH) can elevate serum low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, which can promote the progression of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). However, the effect of FH on the prognosis of ACS remains unclear.MethodsIn this prospective cohort study, 223 patients with ACS having LDL-C ≥ 135.3 mg/dL (3.5 mmol/L) were enrolled and screened for FH using a multiple-gene FH panel. The diagnosis of FH was defined according to the ACMG/AMP criteria as carrying pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants. The clinical features of FH and the relationship of FH to the average 16.6-month risk of cardiovascular events (CVEs) were assessed.ResultsThe prevalence of molecularly defined FH in enrolled patients was 26.9%, and coronary artery lesions were more severe in patients with FH than in those without (Gensini score 66.0 vs. 28.0, respectively; P < 0.001). After lipid lowering, patients with FH still had significantly higher LDL-C levels at their last visit (73.5 ± 25.9 mg/dL vs. 84.7 ± 37.1 mg/dL; P = 0.013) compared with those without. FH increased the incidence of CVEs in patients with ACS [hazard ratio (HR): 3.058; 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.585–5.900; log-rank P < 0.001].ConclusionFH is associated with an increased risk of CVEs in ACS and is an independent risk factor for ACS. This study highlights the importance of genetic testing of FH-related gene mutations in patients with ACS.

Mitochondrial dysfunctions underlie the pathogenesis in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Comprehensive proteomic profiling of mitochondria-specific changes in human GBM is still insufficient. This study carried out a DIA-MS based proteomic analysis on the mitochondria isolated from human primary GBM and peritumoral tissue (as paired control), and further compared those findings with the transcriptomic datasets. A total of 538 mitochondrion-specific proteins were rigorously confirmed, among which 190 differentially expressed proteins were identified. Co-regulations of the mitochondrial dysfunction pathway networks were observed, including significant up-regulations of mitochondrial translation and apoptosis, as well as down-regulations of OXPHOS and mitochondrial dynamics. Proteins related to FA, AA metabolism and ROS also showed significant variations. Most of these alterations were consistent in trend when compared the proteomics findings with the RNA-Seq datasets, while the changes at protein levels appeared to be more dramatic. Potentially key proteins in GBM were identified, including up-regulated pro-apoptotic protein CASP3, BAX, fatty acid oxidation enzymes CPT1A, CPT2, ACADM, serine-glycine enzymes SHMT2, GATM, ROS-related protein SOD2, GPX1, and CAT; and down-regulated dynamin-related protein MFN1, MFN2, OPA1, and OXPHOS components; and also several differentially expressed ALDH isoforms. This study systematically profiled the mitochondrial dysfunctions by combining proteomic findings and mRNA datasets, which would be a valuable resource to the community for further thorough analyses.

Tissue engineering to develop alternatives for the maintenance, restoration, or enhancement of injured tissues and organs is gaining more and more attention. In tissue engineering, the scaffold used is one of the most critical elements. Its characteristics are expected to mimic the native extracellular matrix and its unique topographical structures. Recently, the topographies of scaffolds have received increasing attention, not least because different topographies, such as aligned and random, have different repair effects on various tissues. In this review, we have focused on various technologies (electrospinning, directional freeze-drying, magnetic freeze-casting, etching, and 3-D printing) to fabricate scaffolds with different topographic orientations, as well as discussed the physicochemical (mechanical properties, porosity, hydrophilicity, and degradation) and biological properties (morphology, distribution, adhesion, proliferation, and migration) of different topographies. Subsequently, we have compiled the effect of scaffold orientation on the regeneration of vessels, skin, neural tissue, bone, articular cartilage, ligaments, tendons, cardiac tissue, corneas, skeletal muscle, and smooth muscle. The compiled information in this review will facilitate the future development of optimal topographical scaffolds for the regeneration of certain tissues. In the majority of tissues, aligned scaffolds are more suitable than random scaffolds for tissue repair and regeneration. The underlying mechanism explaining the various effects of aligned and random orientation might be the differences in “contact guidance”, which stimulate certain biological responses in cells.

BackgroundNeuromuscular disorders (NMD), many of which are hereditary, affect muscular function. Due to advances in high-throughput sequencing technologies, the diagnosis of hereditary NMDs has dramatically improved in recent years.Methods and ResultsIn this study, we report an family with two siblings exhibiting two different NMD, Miyoshi muscular dystrophy (MMD) and early onset primary dystonia (EOPD). Whole exome sequencing (WES) identified a novel monoallelic frameshift deletion mutation (dysferlin: c.4404delC/p.I1469Sfs∗17) in the Dysferlin gene in the index patient who suffered from MMD. This deletion was inherited from his unaffected father and was carried by his younger sister with EOPD. However, immunostaining staining revealed an absence of dysferlin expression in the proband’s muscle tissue and thus suggested the presence of the second underlying mutant allele in dysferlin. Using integrated RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) and whole genome sequencing (WGS) of muscle tissue, a novel deep intronic mutation in dysferlin (dysferlin: c.5341-415A > G) was discovered in the index patient. This mutation caused aberrant mRNA splicing and inclusion of an additional pseudoexon (PE) which we termed PE48.1. This PE was inherited from his unaffected mother. PE48.1 inclusion altered the Dysferlin sequence, causing premature termination of translation.ConclusionUsing integrated genome and transcriptome sequencing, we discovered hereditary MMD and EOPD affecting two siblings of same family. Our results added further weight to the combined use of RNA-seq and WGS as an important method for detection of deep intronic gene mutations, and suggest that integrated sequencing assays are an effective strategy for the diagnosis of hereditary NMDs.

Disruption of epidermal barrier is an important trigger in abnormal cutaneous inflammation. Phospholipase C epsilon (PLCε), a Ras/Rap1 effector, is essential for regulating cytokines production in different types of skin inflammation. Our previous studies have demonstrated that elevated expression of PLCε participates in the psoriasis-like inflammation in PLCε overexpressing transgenic mice model, while the reduction in PLCε expression attenuates inflammatory responses in either TPA- or DNFB-induced cutaneous inflammation. Here, we determined the role of PLCε in cutaneous inflammation induced by acute abrogation of epidermal permeability barrier. In comparison to wild type controls, PLCε KO mice exhibited reduced ear swelling and infiltration of granulocytes after tape-stripping. Moreover, expression levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1α, IL-1β), chemokines (CXCL-1, CXCL-2, CCL20), and antimicrobial peptides (S100 proteins, MBD3) were lower in PLCε-deficient versus wild type mice. Likewise, expression levels of cytokines and chemokines were also lower in PLCε deficient keratinocytes and fibroblasts following IL-22 stimulation in vitro. Furthermore, knockdown of PLCε with its siRNA decreased expression of IL-1α, CCL20, and S100 proteins, and MBD3 in HEK cultures. Collectively, these results suggested that PLCε mediated cytokine cascade induced by acute barrier disruption. IL-22 is likely the upstream of PLCε-mediated cytokine cascade following acute barrier disruption.

Histone-like nucleoid structuring protein (H-NS) in enterobacteria plays an important role in facilitating chromosome organization and functions as a crucial transcriptional regulator for global gene regulation. Here, we presented an observation that H-NS of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium could undergo protein phosphorylation at threonine 13 residue (T13). Analysis of the H-NS wild-type protein and its T13E phosphomimetic substitute suggested that T13 phosphorylation lead to alterations of H-NS structure, thus reducing its dimerization to weaken its DNA binding affinity. Proteomic analysis revealed that H-NS phosphorylation exerts regulatory effects on a wide range of genetic loci including the PhoP/PhoQ-regulated genes. In this study, we investigated an effect of T13 phosphorylation of H-NS that rendered transcription upregulation of the PhoP/PhoQ-activated genes. A lower promoter binding of the T13 phosphorylated H-NS protein was correlated with a stronger interaction of the PhoP protein, i.e., a transcription activator and also a competitor of H-NS, to the PhoP/PhoQ-dependent promoters. Unlike depletion of H-NS which dramatically activated the PhoP/PhoQ-dependent transcription even in a PhoP/PhoQ-repressing condition, mimicking of H-NS phosphorylation caused a moderate upregulation. Wild-type H-NS protein produced heterogeneously could rescue the phenotype of T13E mutant and fully restored the PhoP/PhoQ-dependent transcription enhanced by T13 phosphorylation of H-NS to wild-type levels. Therefore, our findings uncover a strategy in S. typhimurium to fine-tune the regulatory activity of H-NS through specific protein phosphorylation and highlight a regulatory mechanism for the PhoP/PhoQ-dependent transcription via this post-translational modification.

Epidermal permeability barrier function plays a critical role in regulating cutaneous functions. Hence, researchers have been searching for effective and affordable regimens to enhance epidermal permeability barrier function. In addition to topical stratum corneum lipids, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor, and liver X receptor ligands, herbal medicines have been proven to benefit epidermal permeability barrier function in both normal and diseased skin, including atopic dermatitis, glucocorticoid-induced skin damage, and UVB-damaged skin. The potential mechanisms by which herbal medicines improve the permeability barrier include stimulation of epidermal differentiation, lipid production, antimicrobial peptide expression, and antioxidation. Therefore, utilization of herbal medicines could be a valuable alternative approach to enhance epidermal permeability barrier function in order to prevent and/or treat skin disorders associated with permeability barrier abnormalities.

Cell fates are determined by specific transcriptional programs. Here we provide evidence that the transcriptional coactivator, Mediator 1 (Med1), is essential for the cell fate determination of ectodermal epithelia. Conditional deletion of Med1 in vivo converted dental epithelia into epidermal epithelia, causing defects in enamel organ development while promoting hair formation in the incisors. We identified multiple processes by which hairs are generated in Med1 deficient incisors: 1) dental epithelial stem cells lacking Med 1 fail to commit to the dental lineage, 2) Sox2-expressing stem cells extend into the differentiation zone and remain multi-potent due to reduced Notch1 signaling, and 3) epidermal fate is induced by calcium as demonstrated in dental epithelial cell cultures. These results demonstrate that Med1 is a master regulator in adult stem cells to govern epithelial cell fate.

Abstract Nano- and microplastics (NMPs) have become a serious global environmental threat that causes damage to mammalian organs. In this work, we investigated the potential molecular mechanism underlying the development of liver fibrosis induced by long-term exposure to three different sized polystyrene (PS)-NMPs (80 nm, 0.5 µm and 5 µm) in mice. Liver fibrosis levels were evaluated in mice after chronic exposure to PS-NMPs. Liver inflammation was mainly increased in chronic exposure to 80 nm and 0.5 µm PS-NMPs. Liver lipid deposition was significantly enhanced after PS-NMPs exposure. However, oxidative stress was not changed under PS-NMPs exposure. GO enrichment and KEGG pathway analyses revealed that the DEGs and shared DEGs were mainly enriched in the metabolism of lipids. The mRNA expression levels of genes related to fatty acid oxidation, synthesis and transport were dramatically induced by PS-NMPs exposure. Four hub genes, Acot3, Abcc3, Nr1i3 and Fmo2, were identified by CytoHubba analysis of shared DEGs. The mRNA expression levels of three hub genes, Acot3, Abcc3 and Nr1i3, were significantly augmented under chronic PS-NMPs exposure. Our results suggest that Acot3, Abcc3 and Nr1i3 are potential molecules involved in the development of liver fibrosis under chronic exposure to PS-NMPs.

Abstract This work demonstrates the potential of generating H2 and geologically storing CO2 simultaneously in basalt formations. Basalt is able to produce H2 in CO2-saturated water at a rate of 46.68 ppm d−1 under 25 °C, with generation rates leveling off after 6 days. At the reaction temperature of 60 °C, the cumulative hydrogen production of basalt for 5 days reaches 11,960 ppm, and its daily hydrogen production rate is more than 51 times that of 25 °C. The CO2-acidified experiment produced the most H2, presumably due to the pH buffering of the CO2 system. The water–solid reaction interface provided by basalt is essential for H2 production. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results show that substantial nano-sized mineral precipitate formed on the basalt surfaces. Electronic microprobe results (EMPA) show that carbonate minerals are formed after the reaction of basalt with CO2 and water under ambient temperature conditions. Thermogravimetric analysis (TG) results show a mineral carbonation efficiency of 4.17% in 3 months. The present experimental results demonstrate the technological feasibility of producing hydrogen for the energy transition while storing CO2 geologically, thus mitigating anthropogenic emissions of a greenhouse gas and also creating revenue for CCS.

【Objective】The study was conducted to clarify the predation capacity of Harmonia sedecimnotata on Aphis craccivora, with a view to providing a theoretical basis for field control of A. craccivora by H. sedecimnotata.【Method】H. sedecimnotata and A.craccivora were taken as experimental subjects. H. sedecimnotata at different stages and different density gradients of late instar nymphs of A.craccivora were prepared to determine the predatory functional response, search effect and intraspecific interference response of H.sedecimnotata to A.craccivora by indoor predation method and numerical model.【Result】The predatory functional response of 1-4th instar of larvae and adults of H. sedecimnotata conformed to Holling Ⅱ model. The predation amount increased with the increase of prey density. The instant attack rates (a) of 1-4st larvae, female and male adults were 0.824, 0.808, 1.364, 1.139, 1.499, 1.626, the handling time (Th) were 0.060, 0.014, 0.006, 0.003, 0.004, 0.005 d, and the maximum daily predation amounts were 16.667, 71.428, 166.667, 333.333, 250.000 and 200.000, respectively. The predation capacity of 1-4th instar larvae and adults of H. sedecimnotata ranked as (from strong to weak): 4th instar, female adult, male adult, 3rd instar, 2nd instar and 1st instar, respectively. The predation amount of larvae increased with the increase of age. For the 4th larvae, the handling time (Th) was the shortest, the predation capacity(a/Th) was the highest, and the maximum daily predation was the highest. which were 0.003 d, 379.667 and 333.333 aphids, respectively. The search effect of H. sedecimnotata on A.craccivora was decreased with the increase of prey density. The search effect of female was greater than that of male. The effect of the H. sedecimnotata's density on the predatory effect of A. craccivora was consistent with the Hassell model. There was intraspecific interference among adult H.sedecimnotata, and the interference equations of female and male adults were E=0.465P-0.515 and E=0.366P-0.505, respectively. The average predation rate decreased with the increase of prey density, the intensity of scramble competition increased with the increase of prey density, and the prey killed by per predator decreased with the increase of predator density. When the predator density reached 5 individuals per plate, the predation rates of female and male adults was the lowest, which were 0.198 and 0.172, and the intensity of scramble competition was the highest, which were 0.548 and 0.558, respectively.【Conclusion】H. sedecimnotata, with a strong predatory ability on the A. craccivora, is an important natural enemy in the biological control of A. craccivora. In practical application, suitable insect state and quantity should be adopted according to the occurrence density of A. craccivora.
