In recent years, interest in the application of gamification in education has increased. Gamification is intended to stimulate students' thinking through game techniques, involving them in problem solving. The main aim of this study is to implement a thematic analysis on the use of gamification in early childhood and primary students. To this end, a systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA model in the Web of Science database, following inclusion and exclusion criteria on quantitative and qualitative experimental and quasi-experimental studies that explore gamification in early childhood education and primary school. 24 studies were analyzed. The results show that the investigations are aimed at improving academic and collaborative skills and increasing motivation with positive results. Furthermore, most of the studies involve students between 10 and 12 years of age and are developed in science subjects supported by technological applications and gamified elements. In conclusion, it has been found that gamification has been applied in early childhood and primary education for many areas and objectives. Likewise, as a didactic strategy, it has brought significant improvements in academic performance, motivation and autonomy, which makes it advisable to continue deepening its application., En los últimos años, el interés por la aplicación de la gamificación en la educación ha aumentado. Con la gamificación se pretende estimular el pensamiento del alumnado a través de técnicas de juego, involucrándole y planteando la resolución de problemas. El estudio tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis temático sobre el uso de la gamificación en alumnos de educación infantil y primaria. Para ello, se efectuó una revisión sistemática utilizando el modelo PRISMA en la base de datos Web of Science, siguiendo criterios de inclusión y exclusión, sobre estudios cuantitativos y cualitativos experimentales y cuasi-experimentales que exploran la gamificación en educación infantil y primaria. Se analizaron 24 estudios. Los resultados muestran que las investigaciones están dirigidas a mejorar las habilidades académicas y colaborativas y a aumentar la motivación con resultados positivos. Además, la mayoría de los estudios involucran a alumnos de entre 10 y 12 años y se desarrollan en asignaturas de ciencias con apoyo de aplicaciones tecnológicas y elementos gamificados. En conclusión, se ha comprobado que la gamificación se ha aplicado en la educación infantil y primaria para muchas áreas y objetivos. Asimismo, como estrategia didáctica ha aportado mejoras significativas del rendimiento académico, la motivación o la autonomía, lo que hace recomendable seguir profundizando en su aplicación.

In today's societies there is an increasing number of students with Specific Educational Support Needs in our classrooms. In recent years, an increasing presence of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder has been detected. Therefore, the objective is to analyze the evolution of scientific production on autism spectrum disorder using the bibliometric approach of scientific mapping based on the study of the intellectual, social and conceptual structure during the period 1969-2021. A search was carried out using the Web of Science database and the search terms were established using ERIC and Thesaurus. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 951 documents were obtained. The results show that from a thematic point of view both early intervention and intervention with new methodologies such as ICT are the current topics being worked on in the field. Also, the journals are grouped according to three lines of publication: psychology, special education, Education and Technology. Finally, APA (2013) and APA (2000) together with Horner et al., (2005) are the documents around which the document co-citation networks are grouped. As future lines of work, the possibility of using other analysis software to complement the information obtained is proposed., En las sociedades actuales es cada vez mayor el número de alumnado con Necesidades Específicas de Apoyo Educativo existente en nuestras aulas. En los últimos años se ha detectado una presencia cada vez mayor de alumnado con Trastorno del Espectro Autista. Por ello, se plantea como objetivo analizar la evolución de la producción científica sobre el trastorno del espectro autista utilizando la aproximación bibliométrica del mapeado científico a partir del estudio de la estructura intelectual, social y conceptual durante el período 1969-2021. Se realizó una búsqueda mediante la base de datos Web of Science y se establecieron los términos de búsqueda con ERIC y Thesaurus. De manera que tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se obtuvieron 951 documentos. Los resultados muestran que desde el punto de vista temático tanto la intervención temprana como la intervención con nuevas metodologías como las TIC son los tópicos actuales que se están trabajando en el campo. Asimismo, las revistas se agrupan en función de tres líneas de publicación: psicología, educación especial, Educación y Tecnología. Finalmente, APA (2013) y APA (2000) junto con Horner et al., (2005) son los documentos en torno a los cuales se agrupan las redes de co-citación de documentos. Como futuras líneas de trabajo, se plantean la posibilidad de utilizar otros software de análisis que complemente la información obtenida.

point of view of a bibliometric meta-analysis. Abstract. Nowadays societies, education is a crucial element in social and economic development. More specifically, with the creation of the European Higher Education Area, it acquires a central position as an element that unities society and the working environment, leading to the skills learning  model. As a consequence, a systematic and thematic review of scientific production in teaching skills during the period 1990-2019 in the Scopus and WOS databases is proposed as the objective of the research. The sample consists of 1704 documents. Results show that WS has the highest production period in 2015-2018 while Scopus is 2016-2019. Similarly, Scopus allows you to get quote for articles much faster than WOS. The field of work has a great international dissemination since the most producing countries must spread their knowledge. On the other hand, the work teams are usually between 2 and 3 authors demonstrating that it is a growing field and finally there is no nigh diffusion in high quartile journals due to the high overlapping percentages. As future lines of work it is proposed to use Bibliometrix or Vosviewer computer software to study other bibliometric indicators such as word co-occurrence or trending topic within the field., En las sociedades actuales la educación es un elemento crucial en el desarrollo social y económico. Más concretamente con la creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior adquiere una posición central como elemento que une sociedad y entorno laboral dando lugar al modelo de aprendizaje por competencias. Como consecuencia de ello se plantea como objetivo de la investigación una revisión sistemática y temática sobre la producción científica en competencias docentes durante el periodo 1990-2019 en las bases de datos Scopus y WOS. La muestra está compuesta por 1704 documentos.  Los resultados mostraron que WOS tenía el periodo de mayor producción en 2015-2018 mientras que en Scopus fue de 2016-2019. De igual manera, Scopus permitió obtener la cita de los artículos mucho más rápido que WOS. El campo de trabajo tiene una gran difusión internacional ya que los países más productores tienden a la difusión de su conocimiento. Por otro lado, los equipos de trabajo se conformaron entre 2 y 3 autores demostrando que es un campo en crecimiento, aunque aún no existe una elevada difusión en las revistas de altos cuartiles debido a los elevados porcentajes de solapamiento. Como futuras líneas de trabajo se propone el uso de un software informático tipo Bibliometrix o Vosviewer para estudiar otros indicadores bibliométricos como la co-ocurrencia de palabras o las trending topic dentro del campo.

One of the characteristic features of current society is the relevance of technology and audiovisual media. This fact has generated demands in the educational field to adapt objectives and methodologies to non-textual languages. Among the predominant audiovisual media is the cinema, which has many potentialities as a didactic resource. Therefore, the aim of this study was to find out the training that students of the Teacher's Degree in Spanish universities receive for the didactic use of cinema through a nationwide research with survey design in which 4659 students, belonging to all the Autonomous Communities and 58 universities, participated. The questionnaire called Perceptions about the potentialities of cinema as a didactic resource in pre-school and primary classrooms (PECID) was designed ad hoc. This questionnaire, which consists of 45 items, has a section that deals with the training received for the educational use of cinema. The Spanish universities offering the Teacher Degree were identified and contacted for the dissemination of the questionnaire. The results obtained showed that 88.4% had not received training. Furthermore, 250 subjects were identified in which film content is taught, mostly in the second and third year and in the area of Didactics and School Organization. It was also found that the most frequent activities carried out are the viewing of films with individual answers to questions and the film forum. This pioneering study in Spain aims to provide information as a basis for further academic training in cinema as a resource of high educational value.

The global pandemic caused by COVID-19 has led to changes in many areas, with educational scenarios being affected. In this sense, university education has undergone significant changes owing to the impossibility of following the fully face-to-face mode of teaching. Given this situation, the general objective of this study is to analyze the university educational scenario in the context of COVID-19 and, more specifically, to identify the difficulties perceived by students. Using a mixed quantitative–qualitative methodological approach, an ad hoc questionnaire was designed, and data were collected from a sample of 238 students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching during the 2020/2021 academic year. The results obtained have shown that students have experienced numerous difficulties in adapting to the hybrid teaching model. In this sense, it is worth highlighting the decrease in motivation, the feeling of loneliness, technical connection problems, and less interaction with the teaching staff and other students. The degree of satisfaction with the teaching received is also moderate. As a conclusion, it can be stated that the difficulties identified recommend the introduction of actions to improve the application of the teaching model implemented in favor of university excellence.

Today's societies have been evolving towards new forms of communication provided by technology. Social networks have enabled the creation of interactive environments for sharing information and creating knowledge. The influence of these tools in different contexts is being recognized in the scientific literature. Therefore, the objective of this research has been to analyze the scientific production on the use of social networks as training tools during the period 2009-2018. For this purpose, several databases have been used, including the Science Citation Index, Emerging Source Citation Index and Science Citation Index Expanded. A series of key words were introduced that allowed us to obtain a sample of 252 documents that were analyzed according to a series of bibliometric indicators such as the immediacy index, the isolation index or the number of annual publications. The results show that the period of greatest production has been between 2015-2018, with the vast majority of articles published in Q1 journals in both the Social Science Citation Index and the Science Citation Index Expanded. On the other hand, there is a 19% overlap between the journals in both databases. Likewise, the working teams range from one to three authors. As future lines of work, the idea is to complete the sample of documents from a more thematic analysis perspective., Las sociedades actuales han ido evolucionando hacía nuevas formas de comunicación que ha proporcionado la tecnología. Las redes sociales han permitido la creación de entornos interactivos para compartir información y crear conocimiento. La influencia de estas herramientas en los diferentes contextos han lugar a un incremento en las investigaciones sobre su uso en el campo educativo. Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación ha sido analizar la producción científica sobre el uso de las redes sociales como herramientas formativas durante periodo 2009-2018. Para ello se han utilizado diversas bases de datos entre las que destacan la Science Citation Index, Emerging Source Citation Index y la Science Citation Index Expanded. Se introdujeron una serie de palabras clave que permitieron obtener una muestra de 252 documentos que fueron analizados en función de una serie de indicadores bibliométricos como el índice de inmediatez, el índice de aislamiento o el número de publicaciones anuales. Los resultados constatan que el periodo de mayor producción ha sido el comprendido entre 2015-2018, siendo la gran mayoría de los artículos publicados en revistas del Q1 tanto en la Social Science Citation Index y la Science Citation Index Expanded. Por otro lado, existe un 19% de solape entre las revistas de ambas bases de datos. Asimismo, los equipos de trabajo oscilan entre uno y tres autores. Como futuras líneas de trabajo se plantea completar la muestra de documentos desde una perspectiva más de análisis de temáticas.

One of the challenges proposed by the European framework for higher education has been to develop a quality and accessible university education in order to reduce situations of exclusion of disabled students. In this sense, it is essential to reduce the existing gap in the academic performance of this group with respect to other students. The general objective of this study has been to analyze the application of inclusive methodologies in university students with disabilities from a teaching perspective. The adopted methodology was non-experimental quantitative with a sample of 313 teachers from the University of Alicante who have taught students with disabilities and who responded to a questionnaire designed ad hoc of 51 items. The results obtained show that teachers frequently use visual aids and use the same materials both in theory and in practice. Concerning perceptions, teachers consider that students with disabilities should acquire the same skills as the rest of their classmates and it was not difficult for them to teach them. Furthermore, the results showed significant differences in perceptions according to the professional category and the branch of knowledge of the teachers. From the aforementioned, it can be concluded that, although positive changes are perceived in teaching methodologies, it is necessary to continue making progress in improving teaching practice and the quality of education that facilitates the conditions for the academic performance of people with disabilities in Spanish universities.

La situación actual de la discapacidad desde el marco normativo universitario nos depara un escenario esperanzador inclusivo, siendo un reto a abordar para llegar a conseguir grados de excelencia. El objetivo de este estudio ha sido analizar las percepciones que tienen los estudiantes del Grado de Maestro en Educación Infantil y Primaria sobre la discapacidad y la influencia de variables determinantes. Para ello mediante un diseño metodológico de carácter no experimental y correlacional han participado 550 estudiantes. Se ha diseñado un cuestionario ad hoc con la técnica de juicio de expertos, tipo escala Likert de 20 ítems. Se realizó el análisis de fiabilidad del cuestionario junto con el estudio descriptivo de las variables demográficas de los sujetos así como la diferencia de medias utilizando pruebas no paramétricas (U-Mann Whitney, Kruskal-Wallis) en función de las variables cuantificadas. Los resultados obtenidos han puesto de manifiesto diferencias significativas en la percepción sobre la discapacidad en función del curso, grado y el tipo de discapacidad previamente trabajada.

Various national and international educational reforms have been advocating the inclusion of technology as a significant resource in teaching-learning processes. The aim of this study is to carry out a bibliometric analysis of scientific production in Spanish on the inclusion of ICT in the educational context. The documents were searched in the ISI Web of Knowledge using the advanced search tab. After applying the search terms, 154 documents were obtained and analyzed according to a series of indicators. The results obtained indicate that the 2015-2017 period was the most prolix and the one that generated the greatest number of citations. The work carried out highlights the great importance of scientific journals in the publication and dissemination of research on ICTs in education., Las diversas reformas educativas a nivel nacional e internacional han ido abogando por la inclusión de la tecnología como recurso significativo en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje. El objetivo del presente estudio es realizar un análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica en español sobre la inclusión de las TIC en el contexto educativo. La búsqueda de documentos se realizó en la ISI Web of Knowledge a partir de la pestaña de búsqueda avanzada. Tras aplicar los términos de búsqueda se obtuvieron 154 documentos que fueron analizados en función de una serie de indicadores. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el periodo de 2015-2017 fue el más prolijo y en el que se generó el mayor número de citas. El trabajo realizado pone en valor la gran importancia que tienen las revistas científicas en la publicación y difusión de investigaciones sobre las TIC en educación.

Education is one of the basic support of today's societies. There are many tools to improve the quality of educational processes. One of the new instruments being applied in recent years is augmented reality. Therefore, the aim of this research was to obtain a review of the state of scientific production on augmented reality in Education. To do this, it has been worked with the advanced search tab of the Web of Science. After that, it was achieved a sample of 347 articles that were analyzed according to a series of bibliometric indicators. The results indicate that the vast majority of journals are included in the Emerging Citation Index; however, the authors often publish in JCR journals (q3). In the same way, authors tend to cite more often those articles that come from years with little scientific production. In the same way, Spain is the largest producer of articles and has a high expansion rate due to its low isolation rate. Finally, the 2015-2017 period has been the highest year’s production. Future research will consider analyzing which topics have been studied on and the systems applied., La educación es uno de los pilares básicos de las sociedades actuales. Existen multitud de herramientas que permiten mejorar la calidad de los procesos educativos. Uno de los nuevos instrumentos que están siendo aplicados en los últimos años es la realidad aumentada. Como consecuencia la investigación realizada pretende obtener revisión del estado de la producción científica sobre realidad aumentada en Educación. Para ello se trabajó con la pestaña búsqueda avanzada de la Web of Science obteniendo una muestra de 347 artículos que fueron analizados en función de una serie de indicadores bibliométricos. Los resultados indican que la gran mayoría de las revistas están englobadas en el Emerging Citation Index; a pesar de ello los autores suelen publicar asiduamente en revistas JCR del q3. De la misma manera los autores tienden a citar más aquellos artículos que proceden de años con poca producción científica. Asimismo, España es el país mayor productor de artículos y tienen un gran índice de expansión debido a su bajo índice de aislamiento. Finalmente el periodo 2015-2017 fue el más prolijo. En futuras investigaciones se planteará analizar cuáles han sido las temáticas trabajadas y los sistemas aplicados.

More and more university students are opting for supplementary training through MOOCs. The aim of this study was to examine the perceptions of MOOC university students who use MOOC about their degree of satisfaction with the training received based on a series of proposed methodological indicators. Based on a non-experimental quantitative approach with a transectional design, an ad hoc questionnaire with a Likert scale has been drawn up and the opinions of 46 students of the University of Alicante’s Compulsory Secondary Education Master’s Degree have been collected by means of accidental non-probabilistic sampling. The findings obtained show results with above-average levels of satisfaction with MOOCs, highlighting their compatibility with work, as well as flexibility and autonomy in learning. This makes it possible to bet on this type of educational proposals for online learning., Cada vez son más los estudiantes universitarios que optan por una formación complementaria a través de los MOOC. El objetivo de este estudio ha sido examinar las percepciones de estudiantes universitarios usuarios de MOOC sobre su grado de satisfacción con la formación recibida en base a una serie de indicadores metodológicos propuestos. A partir de un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo no experimental con diseño transeccional se ha elaborado un cuestionario ad hoc con escala tipo Likert y se han recogido, mediante muestreo no probabilístico accidental, las opiniones de 46 estudiantes del Máster de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria de la Universidad de Alicante. Los hallazgos obtenidos muestran resultados con grados de acuerdo superiores a la media referidos a la satisfacción con los MOOC, destacando su compatibilidad con el trabajo, así como la flexibilidad y autonomía en el aprendizaje. Ello hace posible la apuesta por este tipo de propuestas educativas de aprendizaje online.

En este trabajo exponemos la investigación sobre el uso y la valoración de la plataforma telemática de la Universidad de Alicante, llamada Campus Virtual, que sirve como instrumento interactivo de información y formación en los estudios universitarios de esta Universidad. En principio, el uso de dicha plataforma está generalizado entre la comunidad universitaria pero cabe investigar acerca de su uso real y valoración, en este caso por parte del alumnado. En esta aportación queremos presentar los resultados de una primera muestra en asignaturas que impartimos en la titulación de Magisterio., In this paper we present a research work on the use and assessment of the telematic platform of the University of Alicante, called Campus Virtual, that serves as an information and education interactive tool for the university studies in this University. In principle, the usage of this platform is spread among the university community but it is important to study further about its real use and assessment, in this case, by the students. In this contribution we aim to present the results of a first study regarding some courses taught in Education Studies.
