Double-injection molding involves the use of two injection units, A and B, which can combine two different plastics into one part in a single injection molding process. Double-injection molding can promote the recycling of plastic waste as well as improve the performance and dull appearance of plastic products made from recycled materials. However, the warpage of parts is a significant challenge in double-injection molding. Warpage is significantly affected by the properties of the recycled material and injection molding process. In this study, the relationship between the warpage of double-injection-molded parts using raw and recycled materials was studied through uniform design experiments. To investigate the processes and warpage, the material was recycled several times, and its properties were tested. A regression model was established to describe the quantitative relationship between the important parameters and warpage. The number-average molecular weight and weight-average molecular weight exhibited the largest decrease after the first recycling cycle with a 21.11% and 41.11% decrease, respectively. The melting temperature decreased from 164.61 to 159.35[degrees]C, and the crystallinity did not change significantly. The processing parameters varied with the change in the properties of PP recycled materials, with the melt temperature decreased from 225 to 210[degrees]C. In addition, the number of recycling cycles and holding time for B were the most important factors influencing the warpage of double-injection-molded parts, followed by holding time for A and melt temperature for A. Warpage can be reduced by increasing holding times B and A. The experimental results provide important data for reducing the warpage of double-injection-molded parts with recycled materials. Rapid heat cycling molding (RHCM) is an injection molding technique that improves the product quality of isotactic polypropylene (iPP) by tuning the microstructure, but its effect on the photodegradation stability remains to be investigated. In this work, the effect of RHCM tuned microstructure on the photodegradation behavior of iPP was investigated and compared with conventional injection molding (CIM). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), x‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and shore durometer (D scale) were used to examine the photodegradation behavior of iPP samples. The results showed that RHCM increased the crystallinity, crystal size, and β‐crystal content of iPP samples. With the increase of photodegradation time, iPP samples injected with RHCM showed higher stability in terms of microstructure and surface quality. The relative changes in CI and Ra of RHCM90 were reduced by 48% and 40% after 800 h of UV irradiation, respectively. In addition, the combined results of dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and UV–visible absorption spectrum showed that RHCM promoted the development of crystalline structure and reduced the mobility of the surface chain segments as well as UV absorption coefficient. A product service system composed of products, services, hardware and software support, and stakeholders enhances the added value and competitiveness of products through resource integration. To reduce the input in servitization and improve feasibility, manufacturers tend to construct a product service system based on existing products to meet the demands of customers, instead of constructing a completely new product service system. Therefore, this article presents a spiral evolutionary design method to construct a product service system based on existing products. With the ultimate goal of the system evolution being the maximization of the use of existing products while satisfying the demands of customers, the system performance will be spirally upgraded under the guidance of the system evolution chain through the operation of the system symbiotic ring. The construction of a mobile fire extinguishing product service system based on existing fire-fighting equipment was used as an example to illustrate the feasibility of this methodology. In order to transfer the color imagery from an image to another object to generate color schemes, a color network model is proposed. It consists of two subnets: source net for describing the color information of the reference image; target net for demonstrating the target object to be colored. Thus, the problem of reusing features of color patterns is translated into the mapping process from the source net to target net. Four indicators are designed to measure the conformity between the two nets: color sequence, adjacency, concentration, and the subspace size. In the meantime, a comprehensive aesthetic evaluation given by the designer is introduced to search the optimum combination of the four indicators to help generate imagery matching schemes. A prototype system is developed based on CorelDraw as a design tool. The feasibility of the color network model is then verified through a color combination of graphic design task.
