Teleoperated robots have attracted significant interest in recent years, and data gloves are one of the commonly used devices for their operation. However, existing solutions still encounter two challenges: the ways in which data gloves capture human operational intentions and achieve accurate mapping. In order to address these challenges, we propose a novel teleoperation method using data gloves based on fuzzy logic controller. Firstly, the data are collected and normalized from the flex sensors on data gloves to identify human manipulation intentions. Then, a fuzzy logic controller is designed to convert finger flexion information into motion control commands for robot arms. Based on promptly emerging global necessity and future environmental considerations, highly efficient production of hydrogen as sustainable energy receives great attention. In this work, bimetal-regulated In-based metal-organic framework (MOF) family is successfully designed and obtained. The most importance is that they exhibit high electrocatalytic and photocatalytic activities towards hydrogen generation from water. Such photo/electro-catalyst for efficiently producing hydrogen is a great challenge and requirement, which is also considered as the best way for green energy production. Herein, bimetallic indium-based MOFs is named as In/M-MOFs (M = Ni, Mn, Co, Fe and In). Among of them, In/Ni-MOF as electrocatalyst achieves a stable HER current with an extremely low overpotential of 215 mV at 10 mA cm−2 in 0.1 M KOH, and it as photocatalyst presents a superior hydrogen evolution efficiency of 1478.75 μmol·h−1·g−1 under full-range irradiation. These exciting results highlight great potential of In-based MOFs via bimetal regulation and control, and provide bright prospect for the construction of dual-functional green catalysts in the field of photo/electrocatalysis. In this paper, two efficient up-conversion luminescence agents, Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 (from infrared light to ultravoilet light) and Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 (from visible light to ultravoilet light), were synthesized by hydrothermal and sol–gel methods, respectively. And then, a novel photocatalyst, Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 nanocomposite particles, were successfully prepared by hydrothermal and calcination methods for infrared–visible light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. For comparison and confirmation, Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 , Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 , MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 , Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 , Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 , and Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 were all characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The photocatalytic activity of Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 nanocomposite particles was examined through photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from methanol splitting under infrared–visible light irradiation. The influence factors such as mass ratio of Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 and NaTaO 3 , calcination temperature, solution acidity (pH) and used time on the infrared–visible light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 nanocomposite particles were studied. Particularly, the prepared Tm 3+ ,Yb 3+ :NaYF 4 –Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /MoS 2 –NaTaO 3 nanocomposite particles with the mass ratio of 0.3:1.0 heat-treated at 500 °C for 120 min in pH=6.0 solution with 10.0 wt % methanol displayed a high infrared–visible light photocatalytic activity in hydrogen production from water solution. In this paper, an up-conversion luminescence agent (Er:YAlO), which can effectively transform the visible light in solar light into ultraviolet light, was prepared. Then, for a visible-light photocatalytic degradation reaction, the prepared Er:YAlO was coated by Co- and Fe-doped TiO-ZnO films thorough sol-gel process, respectively, and the Er:YAlO/Fe- and Co-doped TiO-ZnO coated composites were obtained. The crystal forms, particle sizes, chemical compositions, and weight change process of the Er:YAlO/Fe- and Co-doped TiO-ZnO coated composites were analyzed by using XRD, TEM, SEM, EDX, and TG-DTA instruments. The photocatalytic activities of the Er:YAlO/Fe- and Co-doped TiO-ZnO coated composites were evaluated through the degradation of azo fuchsine under visible light irradiation. It indicated that the visible light photocatalytic reduction ratio of Fe- and Co-doped TiO-ZnO composites were 47.8 and 67.9 %, while after adding 15 wt% Er:YAlO, the reduction ratio reached 93.5 and 95.5 %, respectively. • Different titanium sources affect piezocatalytic performance of NBT. • NBT shows outstanding degradation rate of 0.022 min−1. • The desired stability and reusability of NBT were confirmed. Piezocatalysis has been considered as a promising technology in water pollution treatment. In this work, a series of piezoelectric Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 (NBT) nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method using different titanium sources as titanium precursors. The piezocatalytic performances of the NBT nanoparticles were investigated by the degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) with the concentration of 10 mg/L under ultrasonic vibration. It is found that the NBT nanoparticles prepared by using anatase titanium oxide as titanium precursor show optimum piezocatalytic activity and the rate constant of 0.022 min−1 is achieved for RhB. The initial RhB concentration, ultrasonic power, particles size and specific surface area of NBT materials play an important role in optimizing the piezocatalytic performance. Moreover, the NBT nanoparticles show a satisfactory stability and reusability for the piezocatalytic degradation. The piezocatalytic mechanism of NBT nanoparticles was elucidated by the identification of free radicals and intermediates in the degradation process. Exploring the replacement of novel metal-based electrocatalysts based on non-precious metal is still a challenge. Transition metal-based phosphides as a kind of highly efficient oxygen reaction (OER) catalyst is considered as a judicious select for renewable energy conversion and storage. In this work, CoFeP nanocube-arrays (NCAs) composite is successfully fabricated on a 3D porous conductive substrate (nickel foam), namely as CoFeP/NF. The CoFeP/NF material exhibits exciting electrocatalytic performance with extremely low overpotentials of 253 and 290 mV at the current density of 10 and 50 mA cm−2 in 1 M KOH, respectively. Especially, remarkable durability for 100 h can be observed, which is a key parameter for practical application. CoFeP/NF||Pt/C/NF as a two-electrode system is applied into overall water splitting. A series of outstanding electrocatalytic results are obtained, including a very low voltage of 1.54 V for achieving the current density of 10 mA cm−2 with remarkable stability in 1 M KOH. These performances have far superior to commercial noble metal of IrO 2 /NF||Pt/C/NF. The electrocaloric effect (ECE) is considered as an environmentally friendly refrigeration technology, which can be used to replace vapor compression refrigeration. Lead-free antiferroelectric (AFE) ceramics are promising electrocaloric materials because of large saturation polarization and polarization change with temperature, which can generate large positive or negative ECE. In this work, the lead-free Ag(Nb 1-0.8x Hf x)O 3 (x = 0, 0.001 and 0.003) AFE ceramics are fabricated through a conventional solid-state reaction method which shows a decreased the phase transition temperature of M 1 - M 2 toward room temperature (RT), and a large negative ECE (Δ T = −2.3 K under 130 kV cm−1) is obtained near the ambient temperature by using an indirect measurement in ANH0.001 AFE ceramic. The large negative ECE behavior is ascribed to dipole disordering (i.e. the anti-parallel dipoles are broken and gradually becomes disordered under an external electric field) resulting from the field-induced phase transition under a modest electric field. In order to solve the unbalanced vibration problem of bearingless induction motor caused by the rotor mass eccentricity, an adaptive feedforward vibration compensation control strategy is researched. Firstly, the inverse dynamic decoupling control method of torque system and the steady-state stochastic displacement feedback control of magnetic suspension system are introduced in brief. Then the feedforward compensation control strategy of unbalanced vibration displacement is discussed, taking the minimum mean square error of rotor radial displacement as a goal, an adaptive feedforward compensation control algorithm for unbalanced vibration displacement is designed, and by changing the amplitude and phase of the compensation signal of unbalanced vibration displacement step by step iteratively, the influence of periodic unbalanced excitation force is suppressed or counteracted. Finally, the feedforward compensation control method is simulated and validated, and the influence of the detection deviation of motor speed on the vibration compensation effect is analyzed. The simulation experiment results show that the adaptive feedforward vibration compensation control strategy can significantly suppress the unbalanced vibration displacement during the sudden change of motor speed, and can eliminate the unbalanced vibration displacement in the steady state, and then the suspension control accuracy of the rotor is greatly improve. Photon-mode ultracapacity storage media made of inorganic photochromic luminescent materials are highly anticipated, and widely explored in the development of new optical data storage (ODS) technologies. Despite some recent breakthroughs, the optical storage capacity of defect-rich photochromics is still limited to low luminescent readout abilities. Herein, oxygen vacancy rich and bismuth doped K 0.5 Na 0.5 NbO 3 :Eu3+ ceramics were designed, and synergistically boost the luminescence intensity, photochromic efficiency, and luminescent modulation properties, then effectively improving the luminescence readout abilities. The luminescence modulation ratio reaches up to 97.5% from 68.4% with the increase of oxygen vacancy concentrations due to hetero-valent bismuth doping, accompanied by high photochromic efficiency (35.7% from 21.9%) and excellent reproducibility. These results demonstrate that the synergistic engineering of oxygen vacancy and doping is a promising strategy for obtaining high-performance photochromic materials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this work for the first time pore‐space‐partition (PSP)‐CoFePBA hollow framework is elaborately designed and successfully obtained via self‐template internal dissolution strategy. As is demonstrated by our previous report, Prussian blue analogue (PBA) with hollow morphology is very beneficial to improve sensing performance. As expected, the PSP‐CoFePBA hollow framework in this work exhibits far superior glucose sensing performance compared with classic CoFePBA nanoparticles and nanoboxes as well as most of reported PBA‐based glucose sensors. Herein, very high sensitivity of 1184.18 μA mM−1 cm−2 and 267.63 μA mM−1 cm−2 in the concentration range of 5–325 μM and 325–1025 μM, respectively, as well as low detection limit of 0.4 μM (S/N=3) and high stability can be observed. Aiming at the unbalanced vibration problem of bearingless induction motor caused by the rotor mass eccentricity, an adaptive LMS extraction method of unbalanced displacement is proposed. Firstly, the characteristics of unbalanced displacement signal, the influences of step size factor on the tracking speed and the steady state tracking error are analyzed; then in order to solve the contradiction between tracking speed and steady state tracking error, and achieve the quick extraction of unbalanced displacement, a convenient nonlinear function of step size factor is adopted. On this basis, an unbalanced vibration control system of a bearingless induction motor is constructed; simulation verification and analysis are made. The simulation results have shown that the unbalanced displacement signal can be extracted quickly in dynamic status, a higher extraction precision of unbalanced displacement can be obtained in steady status; based the proposed extraction method of unbalanced displacement signal, the magnetic suspension control performance of a bearingless induction motor can be improved greatly. The broadband spectrum detection from ultraviolet to near-infrared is hankered in the photoelectric applications of imaging, sensing and communication. Here, a new self-powered photodetector based on ferroelectric LuMnO 3 thin film with a narrow bandgap of 1.46 eV exhibits high-sensitivity ultraviolet–visible–near infrared photodetection properties. The responsivity (R) and detectivity (D *) in sunlight are 0.4 A/W and 7.05 × 1011 Jones, which are much higher than that of other ferroelectric photodetectors. Moreover, under the monochromatic light (900 nm), the R and D * can reach 0.39 A/W and 6.89 × 1011 Jones. The outstanding photodetection performances owed to the large photocurrent output, where the short-circuit current density can reach 10.5 mA/cm2 under 1 sun illumination. The synergistic effect of ferroelectric photovoltaic effect and interface barrier effect demonstrates that the multi-driving forces can achieve high dissociation efficiency for photon-generated carriers. A plethora of efforts have been dedicated to developing electrode materials for the speedy and precise determination of glucose in the past decades. Herein, we successfully design and fabricate a CoFeLDH/PBA/NF heterojunction with sea-urchin-like morphology. The nanocomposite as an electrode realizes a high-performance detection of glucose with an ultra-high sensitivity of 5499 μA mM−1 cm−2, a low limit of detection of 0.1 μM, as well as outstanding reproducibility, stability and selectivity. Prussian blue (PB) and its analogue (PBA) are a kind of representative cyanide‐based coordination polymer. They have received enormous research interest and have shown promising applications in the electrochemical sensing field due to their excellent electrochemical activity and unique structural characteristics including open framework structure, high specific surface area, and adjustable metal active sites. In this review, we summarize the latest research progress of PB/PBA as an electrochemical sensor in detail from three aspects: fabrication strategy, synthesis method and electrochemical sensor application. For the fabrication strategy, we discussed different fabrication methods containing the combination of PBA and carbon materials, metal nanoparticles, polymers, etc., respectively, as well as their corresponding sensing mechanism for improving performance. We also presented the synthesis methods of PB/PBA materials in detail, such as: coprecipitation, hydrothermal and electrodeposition. In addition, the effects of different methods on the morphology, particle size and productivity of PB/PBA materials are also concluded. For the application of electrochemical sensors, the latest progress of such materials as electrochemical sensors for glucose, H2O2, toxic compounds, and biomolecules have been summarized. Finally, we conclude remaining challenges of PB/PBA‐based materials as electrochemical sensors, and provide personal perspectives for future research in this field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A new composite, (MoSe 2 -RGO)/(Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /ZnS)/RuO 2 , as photocatalytic material was assembled by depositing conduction band co-catalyst (MoSe 2 -RGO) and valence band co-catalyst (RuO 2) on ZnS nanocatalyst and adding a visible-ultraviolet up-conversion luminescence agent (Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12). The visible-light photocatalytic activity was evaluated via photocatalytic hydrogen evolution in Na 2 S and Na 2 SO 3 aqueous solution under 300 W xenon lamp irradiation. The results show that the prepared (MoSe 2 -RGO)/(Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /ZnS)/RuO 2 photocatalyst exhibited significantly enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production activity under visible-light irradiation. • MoSe2-RGO and RuO2 as co-catalysts are used to enhance ZnS photocatalytic activity. • Er:YAG provides UV light to satisfy the demand of ZnS for effective H2 evolution. • Improved ZnS can effectively perform visible light photocatalytic H2 production. • (MoSe2-RGO)/(Er3+:Y3Al5O12/ZnS)/RuO2 shows excellent recyclability for four cycles. In this work, a novel visible-light driven photocatalyst, (MoSe 2 -RGO)/(Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /ZnS)/RuO 2 nanocomposite, is prepared for the first time by loading Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 , MoSe 2 -RGO and RuO 2 on the surface of ZnS nanoparticles. Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 as an effective visible-to-ultraviolet up-conversion luminescence agent can provide the ultraviolet-light to activate wide band-gap ZnS. MoSe 2 -RGO and RuO 2 , acting as conduction band co-catalyst and valence band co-catalyst, respectively, can effectively separate the photo-generated carriers and supply more reactive sites. The activities of the photocatalysts were assessed via photocatalytic hydrogen production in Na 2 S and Na 2 SO 3 aqueous solution under 300 W xenon lamp irradiation. In addition, the visible-light irradiation time and used times of the prepared samples as influence factors on the photocatalytic hydrogen production were also investigated. It was easily found that the prepared (MoSe 2 -RGO)/(Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /ZnS)/RuO 2 nanocomposite shows fairly high activity in photocatalytic hydrogen production, compared with single ZnS photocatalyst. It was mainly attributed to the excellent up-conversion luminescence property of Er3+:Y 3 Al 5 O 12 and the efficient separation of photo-generated electrons and holes caused by MoSe 2 -RGO and RuO 2. The application of Fresnel microprisms always reduces the contrast of the formed optical images. During ophthalmology diagnostics with microprisms the visual acuity of the patients decreases depending on the contract of test chart optotypes. The main reason for reducing the contrast and for worsening resolution of optical images is the chromaticity of white light that occurs when the light rays of different wavelengths are refracting on the prism surfaces. A light filters can be used to diminish the chromaticity, so the quantitative data on this effect are necessary. Also, the ways for reducing the chromatic aberrations with light filters should be considered. From this point a modified rigid Fresnel microprisms with protected relief developed at the Institute for Information Recording (Ukraine) were investigated. Comparative optical characteristics were calculated for microprisms with yellow-blue and green-blue filters. Experimental data on chromaticity aberrations were obtained using new electronic method for registering the resolution of test stroke images with and without filters. The influence of light filters on the visual images through Fresnel microprisms was registered. The reasons for contrast decrease and chromaticity zone diminishing with light filters are discussed for all of investigated ophthalmic microprisms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background Cardiac fibrosis is a crucial factor of heart failure. It has been reported that several microRNAs (miRNAs, miRs) were involved in cardiac fibrosis, however, the role and possible regulatory mechanism of microRNA-135a (miR-135a) in cardiac fibrosis have not been investigated. Here, we explored the regulation mechanism of miR-135a on cardiac fibrosis. Methods and Results In vitro, cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) from neonatal rats were treated by isoproterenol (ISO) at the final concentration of 10 μM for 24 h and miR-135a expression was decreased obviously. A miR-135a mimic inhibited CFs proliferation and differentiation by down-regulating transient receptor potential melastatin 7 (TRPM7) expression and current, whose effects were reversed by either the addition of miR-135a mimic or silencing TRPM7. In vivo, adult SD rat cardiac fibrosis was induced by subcutaneous administration of ISO (5 mg/kg/day) for 10 days. The expression of Collagen I, α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and TRPM7 were up-regulated while miR-135a was down-regulated. In summary, our results illustrated that TRPM7 channel played an essential role in regulating fibrosis and that miR-135a protected against ISO-induced cardiac fibrosis via TRPM7 channel. The results showed that the Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Ta 2 O 5 -CaIn 2 S 4 /MoSe 2 -RGO photocatalyst in aqueous methanol solution displayed the highest photocatalytic hydrogen production activity under visible-light irradiation and after five-times photocatalytic hydrogen experiment the photocatalytic activity of Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Ta 2 O 5 -CaIn 2 S 4 /MoSe 2 -RGO is basicly stable in the process of splitting methanol aqueous solutions. The global gene expression and DNA methylation of genes in adriamycin-resistant human breast cancer cells (MCF-7/ADM cells) are similar to those in paclitaxel-resistant MCF-7 cells (MCF-7/PTX) and are significantly different from those in wild-type MCF-7 cells. DNA methylation is associated with chemoresistance in breast cancer and changes the characteristics of chemoresistant and chemosensitive cells. Here, we showed that the tumor-suppressor gene Notch3 was inactivated due to epigenetic silencing DNA hypermethylation in MCF-7/ADM cells. In addition, the drug efflux pump P-glycoprotein was negatively regulated by Notch3 and highly expressed in MCF-7/ADM cells. Several conduction band co-catalysts (CBCOs), MoO 2 , MoS 2 and MoSe 2 , were prepared to improve the visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /PdS–ZnS from water splitting, in which the PdS is a valence band co-catalyst (VBCO) used to facilitate the photo-generated hole transfer and the Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 is an up-conversion luminescence agent from visible light to ultraviolet light used to provide the ultraviolet light satisfying the energy demands of wide band-gap ZnS photocatalyst. XRD, SEM, TEM and EDX analyses were employed to confirm the morphology, microstructure and composition of the prepared photocatalysts. UV–vis absorption and PL spectra were also determined to explore luminescence effect of the Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 . The visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of the prepared photocatalysts was evaluated by using Na 2 S and Na 2 SO 3 as sacrificial reagents in aqueous solution under visible light irradiation. The influential factors such as contents of CBCOs (MoO 2 , MoS 2 and MoSe 2 ) and visible-light irradiation time on visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /PdS–ZnS–MoX 2 (X = O, S and Se) were investigated in detail. One-dimensional hollow nanotube of NiFePBA/NF was elaborately designed and successfully obtained, which exhibited exciting electrochemical sensing performance towards glucose. [Display omitted] In this work, we resolve a great challenge that Prussian blue analogue (PBA) nanocubes are successfully fabricated into one-dimensional (1D) hollow tube. It is well known that 1D hollow structure is especially attractive for electrochemical sensor due to its special advantages, but it is also an extremely difficult project for PBA because of their classic cubic morphology. Herein, we adopted a two-step synthetic strategy, realizing the successful fabrication of NiFePBA one-dimensional hollow tubes on the surface of nickel foam (NF) as conductive substrate. A series of testing results have demonstrated that as-prepared 1D hollow nanotubes exhibit excellent electrochemical sensing performance towards glucose, including fast response speed of 0.1 s, wide detection range of 2–650 μM, very high sensitivity up to 21.04 mA mM−1 cm−2, and low limit of detection (LOD) of 0.2 μM (S/N = 3). In a word, this work provides excellent electrochemical sensor materials towards glucose, more importantly, it develops a novel and general strategy to construct 1D hollow structure for further application. A novel visible-light photocatalyst, Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane, was prepared via sol–gel–hydrothermal method on glass substrates as a support. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were used to reveal the crystallinity, surface morphology and chemical composition of the prepared Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane. The catalytic activity of Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane was examined through the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from some pollutants, including phenol, glycerol and Na 2 S/Na 2 SO 3 , which were used as electron donors, under visible-light irradiation. Furthermore, some influence factors, such as mass ratio, pre-treatment temperature and used times, on the photocatalytic activity of Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane were studied. The experimental results showed that the Er 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane is a good and broad-spectrum photocatalyst in visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution with simultaneous pollutant solution treatment. A photocatalyst capable of responding to visible light, Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane, was synthesized via sol–gel dip-coating method by using glass substrates as a supporter. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were performed to reveal the crystallinity, surface morphology and chemical composition of Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Pt–TiO 2 membranes. The photocatalysis capability of Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane was measured through the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution with simultaneous photocatalytic reforming of biomass under simulated visible light irradiation. In addition, mass ratio, heat-treated temperature and initial solution pH as principal influence factors on the photocatalysis capability of Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Pt–TiO 2 membranes were studied. The reused times was also investigated. It was found that the hydrogen generation and glucose degradation could be carried out simultaneously in the same system and the Er 3+ :YAlO 3 /Pt–TiO 2 membrane exhibited a much better visible light photocatalytic activity than pure Pt–TiO 2 membrane. Furthermore, the membranes are recyclable. Therefore, these novel composite membrane photocatalysts will have wide applications for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution with simultaneous wastewater treatment on practical application. • Bimetallic MOF composites were fabricated via MOF-on-MOF and one-pot strategies. • Excellent OER and ultra-high supercapacitor performance were observed. • Remarkable stability at high current density can be still observed. Developing highly efficient and stable multi-functional metal–organic framework electrochemical materials is of prime importance for renewable energy technologies and electrocatalytic applications. Herein, a novel series of bimetallic metal–organic framework (MOF) hybrid materials were successfully designedly fabricated through an in-situ growth and MOF-on-MOF strategies, namely as NiFeMOF/NF, NiCoMOF/NF, FeMOF/NiMOF/NF, and CoMOF/NiMOF/NF. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of bimetallic centers, conductive substrate and unique fabrication, they exhibit remarking electrochemical performance. Among them, FeMOF/NiMOF/NF composite with ultrathin nanosheets displays the best electrochecatalytic performance with ultralow overpotentials of 293 mV at 50 mA cm−2 and 359 mV at 100 mA cm−2 for oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and remarking electrochemical stability with high current density of 100 mA cm−2 after testing for 24 h, that 88% of initial current density can be remained. Based on these fabricated bimetallic MOF hybrid materials as precursors, the corresponding MOF-derived nano sulfides were obtained with massive exposure of active sites. As an excellent supercapacitor electrode, NiCoS/NF-1 converted from CoMOF/NiMOF/NF shows admirable specific capacitance of 2815.4 F g−1 at 1 mA cm−2 and a remarkable rate capability of 82%.
