Currently, the prognosis of osteosarcoma (OS) remains discouraging, especially in elderly/metastatic OS patients. By impairing the antitumor effect of immune cells, tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) provides an environment conducive to tumor proliferation, which highly requires accelerated nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) metabolism for energy. Recently, many genes involved in the sustained production of NAD+ in malignant tumors have been verified to be possible prognostic indicators and therapeutic targets. Therefore, the current study was to probe into the association of NAD+ metabolism‐related genes with TIME, immunotherapeutic response, and prognosis in OS. All OS data for the study were acquired from TARGET and GEO databases. In bioinformatics analysis, we performed Cox analysis, consensus clustering, principal component analysis, t‐distributed stochastic neighbor embedding, uniform manifold approximation and projection, gene set enrichment analysis, gene set variation analysis, Lasso analysis, survival and ROC curves, nomogram, immune‐related analysis, drug sensitivity analysis, and single‐cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‐seq) analysis. Cell transfection assay, RT‐qPCR, western blot analysis, as well as cell wound healing, migration, and invasion assays were performed in vitro. Bioinformatics analysis identified A&B clusters and six NAD+ metabolism‐related differentially expressed genes, constructed risk model and nomogram, and performed immune‐related analysis, drug susceptibility analysis, and scRNA‐seq analysis to inform the clinical treatment framework. In vitro experiment revealed that CBS and INPP1 can promote migration, proliferation as well as invasion of OS cells through TGF‐β1/Smad2/3 pathway. Understanding, predicting, and ultimately controlling exciton band structure and exciton dynamics are central to diverse chemical and materials problems. Here, we have developed a first-principles method to determine exciton dispersion and exciton–phonon interaction in semiconducting and insulating solids based on time-dependent density functional theory. The first-principles method is formulated in planewave bases and pseudopotentials and can be used to compute exciton band structures, exciton charge density, ionic forces, the non-adiabatic coupling matrix between excitonic states, and the exciton–phonon coupling matrix. Based on the spinor formulation, the method enables self-consistent noncollinear calculations to capture spin-orbital coupling. Hybrid exchange-correlation functionals are incorporated to deal with long-range electron–hole interactions in solids. A sub-Hilbert space approximation is introduced to reduce the computational cost without loss of accuracy. For validations, we have applied the method to compute the exciton band structure and exciton–phonon coupling strength in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers; both agree very well with the previous GW-Bethe–Salpeter equation and experimental results. Due to its designable nanostructure and simple and inexpensive preparation process, electrospun nanofibers have important applications in energy collection, wearable sports health detection, environmental pollutant detection, pollutant filtration and degradation, and other fields. In recent years, a series of polymer-based fiber materials have been prepared using this method, and detailed research and discussion have been conducted on the material structure and performance factors. This article summarizes the effects of preparation parameters, environmental factors, a combination of other methods, and surface modification of electrospinning on the properties of composite nanofibers. Meanwhile, the effects of different collection devices and electrospinning preparation parameters on material properties were compared. Subsequently, it summarized the material structure design and specific applications in wearable device power supply, energy collection, environmental pollutant sensing, air quality detection, air pollution particle filtration, and environmental pollutant degradation. We aim to review the latest developments in electrospinning applications to inspire new energy collection, detection, and pollutant treatment equipment, and achieve the commercial promotion of polymer fibers in the fields of energy and environment. Finally, we have identified some unresolved issues in the detection and treatment of environmental issues with electrospun polymer fibers and proposed some suggestions and new ideas for these issues. Polymer membranes with high permeability, high salt rejection, and mechanical integrity are desirable in water treatment and purification. However, it remains a daunting challenge to achieve ultrathin yet robust polymer membranes harvesting all the above features for nanofiltration. Here, a new approach of nano‐confined supramolecular assembly to fabricate ultrathin crystalline polymer membranes with a modulus of 1 GPa and a thickness of 6.5 nm is reported. The microdroplet carrying amphiphilic tetra‐oligomers can quickly spread at the air–‐water interface, where the hydrophilic motifs such as carbonyl and hydroxyl groups can reconfigurably anchor down to water molecules via abundant hydrogen bonding interactions, significantly promoting the alignment and orientation of hydrophobic alkyl chains within the nano‐confined space. The resultant nano‐films exhibit mechanical robustness as well as excellent ion sieving with improved NaCl rejection of 81.3% and unprecedented Na2SO4 rejection of 99.9% without compromising water permeation, outperforming the reported and commercial state‐of‐the‐art polymer membranes. This work enables the rapid production of over 100 cm2 ultrathin crystalline polymer membranes with great nanofiltration potential and highlights the critical role of supramolecular assembly in the chemical and structural configurations in a nano‐confined space. Two‐phase flow, a system where Stokes flow and Darcy flow are coupled, is of great importance in the Earth's interior, such as in subduction zones, mid‐ocean ridges, and hotspots. However, it remains challenging to solve the two‐phase equations accurately in the zero‐porosity limit, for example, when melt is fully frozen below solidus temperature. Here we propose a new three‐field formulation of the two‐phase system, with solid velocity (vs), total pressure (Pt), and fluid pressure (Pf) as unknowns, and present a robust finite‐element implementation, which can be used to solve problems in which domains of both zero porosity and non‐zero porosity are present. The reformulated equations include regularization to avoid singularities and exactly recover to the standard single‐phase incompressible Stokes problem at zero porosity. We verify the correctness of our implementation using the method of manufactured solutions and analytic solutions and demonstrate that we can obtain the expected convergence rates in both space and time. Example experiments, such as self‐compaction, falling block, and mid‐ocean ridge spreading show that this formulation can robustly resolve zero‐ and non‐zero‐porosity domains simultaneously, and can be used for a large range of applications in various geodynamic settings. In some regions, such as mid‐ocean ridges or hotspots, mantle temperature is high enough such that mantle rocks become partially molten, forming low‐viscosity magma. Migration of magma toward Earth's surface is a process of a low‐viscosity fluid flowing in a deformable high‐viscosity matrix, which is a two‐phase system. Investigating magma migration requires to solve the fully coupled two‐phase system. However, at lower temperatures magma disappears because of solidification, such that the system reduces to a single (solid) phase, which is mathematically problematic because the linear system for the coupled two‐phase problem is singular and under‐determined in this case. In this work, we propose a new formulation for the coupled two‐phase system, which works for both single‐phase and two‐phase cases. The new formulation is implemented and benchmarked against a set of analytical solutions. Using selected example experiments, which have well‐known solutions and contain zero‐porosity domains, we demonstrate that the model works consistently and robustly for a large range of geodynamic settings. Achieving robust yet reversible adhesion between hydrogels and diverse substrates is of great importance and technically challenging. A family of phase‐segregated hydrogel adhesives with cooperative energy dissipation is reported. The resultant hydrogels display abundant nano‐aggregates comprising hydrophobic clusters and hydrogen‐bonded nanocrystals for efficient dissipation, and accumulated interfacial physical bonding like hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions for intrinsic adhesion work, thus synergistically leading to super tough yet reversible adhesion. Additionally, the size of nano‐aggregates can be well‐tuned by varying time of solvent exchange followed by dry‐annealing and swelling, thus enabling switchable mechanical robustness and water content as well as unprecedented interfacial toughness exceeding 3300 J m−2 on the polyhydric surfaces. The thermospheric neutral density response to the 7–9 September 2017 storms is investigated based on the Swarm satellite observations and the thermosphere‐ionosphere‐electrodynamic general circulation model (TIEGCM) simulation. The Swarm data depicted a prominent interhemispheric asymmetry (IHA) in the afternoon sector during the second storm, a feature that was yet explained. Driven by realistic high‐latitude electric potential and electron precipitation patterns, the TIEGCM is able to reproduce the observed storm‐time neutral density response. The TIEGCM simulation reveals that the differences in the traveling atmospheric disturbances (TADs) is largely responsible for the observed IHA in the neutral mass density response at low and middle latitudes, whereas the difference in mean molecular mass between the two hemispheres may contribute to the IHA in neutral density at higher latitudes. The IHAs in TADs and mean molecular mass are attributed to the IHA in Joule heating dissipation on the night and dawn sides. Plain Language Summary: During geomagnetic storms, thermospheric neutral density can increase drastically due to intense heat inputs. Enhanced neutral density increases the air drag on satellites which could lower their orbits and lead to faster atmosphere reentering of satellites. In addition, enhanced neutral mass density may cause larger uncertainties in orbit prediction which increases the risk of collisions with other space objects. Therefore, it is essential to improve the understanding of storm‐time neutral density variations to improve satellite operations. Recent satellite observations have revealed that thermospheric neutral mass density response can be interhemispherically asymmetric even under equinox conditions when the background density in the two hemispheres is comparable. This paper presents a case study of such an event based on data analysis and numerical simulations to investigate the physical mechanisms behind this intriguing phenomenon. The event took place on 7–9 September 2017 and the most prominent interhemispheric asymmetry of neutral density occurred in the afternoon sector. Our study found that the interhemispheric asymmetry during this event results from the differences in the generation, propagation and interaction of globally propagating atmospheric waves, namely traveling atmospheric disturbances, as well as the difference in mean molecular mass between the northern and southern hemispheres. Purpose: To compare the technical performance and outcomes of Solitaire and Neuroform stents for treatment of intracranial bifurcation aneurysms (IBAs). Methods: IBAs treated by stent-assisted coiling using a Solitaire or Neuroform stent between October 2010 and December 2019 were retrospectively evaluated. Patient demographics, aneurysm information, treatment technique, periprocedural and device-related complications, parent artery angle change, along with initial and follow-up angiographic results were analyzed. Results: One hundred twenty-one patients with 121 IBAs treated with Solitaire (n = 101) or Neuroform (n = 20) stent-assisted coiling were included. Aneurysm size, thrombotic and hemorrhagic complication rate, initial occlusion rate and in-stent stenosis between the two cohorts were not significantly different. Aneurysm location was significantly different between the two groups (p = 0.032). Jailing technique rate for coiling was significantly higher in the Solitaire than the Neuroform group (70.3% vs. 35.0%, p < 0.01). Follow-up DSA demonstrated a significantly lower recurrence rate for the Solitaire cohort (2.9% vs. 22.2%, p = 0.016). Parent artery angle changes, immediately post-operative and on follow-up were significantly greater in the Solitaire stent group (p < 0.05). Conclusions: For intracranial bifurcation aneurysms, Solitaire stent-assisted coiling achieved a significantly lower recurrence rate and induced more favorable parent artery angular remodeling than Neuroform stenting. Simple Summary: Commercial sand digging initially created suitable nesting habitats to attract blue-tailed bee-eaters but subsequently reduced their breeding success by destroying their nests. However, commercial sand digging can be modified to create suitable and stable nesting habitats for bee-eaters. The development of human society often interferes with wild animals and their natural habitats. Interference during resource exploitation is mostly negative; however, in some cases, it can be positive and even have significance for some species. In this study, we investigated the number of blue-tailed bee-eaters (Merops philippinus), a species under 'state protection category II' in China, between controlled and manipulated nesting habitats from 2017 to 2022. Our results indicated that commercial sand-digging activities, either illegal or approved, initially created suitable nesting habitats to attract blue-tailed bee-eaters but subsequently led to damage of nests or nesting habitats. However, sand digging can be modified by avoiding the breeding season to provide safe and suitable nesting habitats for bee-eaters. The number of breeding birds more than tripled when digging during the breeding season was avoided. We also found that conventional conservation strategies, which strictly prohibited sand-digging activities, did not contribute to the nesting habitats of bee-eaters. This study enriches the theories of conservation biology and emphasizes the importance of dialectical thinking regarding exploitative and seemingly destructive activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Development of efficient catalysts for electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR) represents a great challenge in renewable energy research. Although noble metals have long been explored as catalysts for CO2RR, their reactivity and selectivity remain rather low owing to the competing hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Here, this work proposes that noble metal monolayers (MLs) supported by transition metal carbides (TMCs) and nitrides (TMNs) can become exceptional CO2RR catalysts with much suppressed HER. This work shows that there is a direct, antibonding interaction between the hydrogen adsorbate and the TMC/TMN substrates, while such interactions between CO2RR intermediates and the substrates are absent. This difference enables dual‐site functionalization of the ML catalysts, which circumvents the energy scaling relations dictating the competition between CO2RR and HER. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the binding of the H adsorbate to suppress HER and simultaneously increase the binding of CO2RR intermediates to boost the CO2RR. This work identifies several Ag and Au‐based catalysts that are thermodynamically and electrochemically stable and exhibit high activity and selectivity toward the production of formic acid. Here, flower‐like manganese oxide with enriched oxygen vacancies were reported for high performance supercapacitors. The moderate oxygen‐vacancy were achieved by controlling annealing atmosphere. Benefiting from improving the conductivity and the density of active sites, MnOx−Ar sample as an electrode material has remarkable specific capacity (339 mAh g−1 at 0.5 A g−1), extraordinary rate capability (90 % capacity retention at 1 A g−1), and good cycling property (90 % capacity retention at 1 A g−1 after 5000 cycles). Additionally, the asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) was assembled which used the MnOx−Ar sample as cathode and Kochen Black (KB) as anode, which displayed a remarkable energy density (16 Wh kg−1) at a large power density (7593 W kg−1). These results, on the one hand, further expand the application of MnO2‐based materials, and on the other hand, offer a new perspective for the oxygen non‐stoichiometry in material electrochemistry. Iron-based particles loaded on porous carbon materials have attracted extensive attention as catalysts for denitration and desulfurization reactions. However, the carbon support of a high-temperature denitration catalyst is inevitably oxidized in the presence of H2O and O2. The mechanism of denitration catalyst oxidation and its influence on the catalytic reaction remain to be further explored. Fe2O3-loaded graphene models with carbon vacancy (Gdef), hydroxyl (HyG), and carboxyl (CyG) were constructed to investigate the effects of hydroxylation and carboxylation on the catalytic activity of Fe2O3/graphene for oxidative desulfurization and denitration by using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. According to the analysis of structural properties and adsorption energy, the adsorption process of Fe2O3 on HyG and CyG was observed to have proceeded more favorably than that on Gdef. The density-of-states (DOS) results also affirmed that HyG and CyG promote the electron delocalization of Fe2O3 around the Fermi level, enhancing the chemical activity of Fe2O3. Moreover, adsorption energy analysis indicates that hydroxylation and carboxylation enhanced the adsorption of SO2 and H2O2 on Fe2O3/graphene while also maintaining preferable adsorption stability of NO. Furthermore, mechanistic research explains that adsorbed H2O2 on HyG and CyG directly oxidizes NO and SO2 into HNO2 and H2SO4 following a one-step reaction. Electrode selection and its effects are extremely crucial to characterize the electrical properties and understand the colossal permittivity response of CaCu 3 Ti 4 O 12 (CCTO) ceramics. However, the specifical correlation between metal electrode and electrical performances of CCTO ceramics are not clear so far. In this study, we have systematically investigated the effects of metal electrodes (Ag, Au and Pt) on the colossal permittivity response, dielectric loss, nonlinear characteristics and dielectric relaxation behavior of CCTO ceramics prepared via solid-state reaction means. Moreover, the related physical mechanisms of electrode effect on the electrical properties of CCTO ceramics have been analyzed. As a result, it is found that the metal electrode plays a minimal effect on the dielectric constant of CCTO ceramics in low and intermediate frequencies (102–105 Hz), but the Pt-CCTO ceramic presents a reduced dielectric constant in a frequency range of 104–105 Hz due to the relatively weaker grain boundary responses and the lower Schottky barriers between Pt electrode and sample surface. Meanwhile, the dielectric constant of Pt-CCTO ceramics sharply decreases at the high frequencies, which may be attributed to the greater dipole-dominated dielectric relaxation behaviors induced by the Pt electrode. Furthermore, the influence of electrode on dielectric loss is relatively significant, especially at the intermediate and high frequencies under high temperatures. Whereas, the influences of electrode effect on the breakdown electric field strength and nonlinear coefficient of CCTO ceramics are relatively little, as revealed by nonlinear characteristics. Consequently, it is comprehensively considered that the Ag electrode is more suitable to characterize the electrical performances of CCTO ceramics. Immunosuppression mediated by CD4+ T cell apoptosis and dysfunction is a key factor in promoting the progression of sepsis. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress participates in the apoptosis and dysfunction of immune cells. We aimed to investigate the role of ER stress inhibition in CD4+ T cells in both in vitro and in vivo models of sepsis. In vitro model of sepsis was established with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and the rat model of sepsis was established using cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). After the LPS treatment or CLP, ER stress inhibitors including 4‐PBA, SNJ‐1945, and SP600125 were used to treat cells or rats, and the CD4+ T cells were obtained by magnetic bead sorting. The effects of ER stress inhibitors on apoptosis and the function of CD4+ T cells were evaluated. After the LPS stimulation or CLP, the levels of ER stress and downstream markers (PERK, eIF2α, IRE‐1α, ATF6, ATF4, XBP‐1 s, GRP78, CHOP, and p‐JNK) were increased in CD4+ T cells at the beginning of sepsis. Meanwhile, the number of apoptotic CD4+ T cells markedly increased. In addition, sepsis impaired the function of CD4+ T cells, manifested by the increased population of Th1, Th2, Th17, and Treg, as well as the production of TNF‐α, interleukin (IL)‐6, IL‐4, and IL‐10. However, inhibitors of ER stress, JNK, and calpain all decreased the induction of Th1 and Th17, enhanced the increase of Th2 and Treg, decreased the production of TNF‐α and IL‐6, and enhanced the production of IL‐4 and IL‐10. Our findings indicate that ER stress inhibitors may play a protective role by reducing CD4+ T cell apoptosis and maintaining CD4+ T cell function, which may be useful for enhancing the immune function and poor prognosis of patients with sepsis. We propose an ab initio formulation that enables a rigorous calculation of the first-order nonadiabatic couplings (NAC) between electronic states based on time-dependent density functional theory in conjunction with planewave bases, projector augmented-wave pseudopotentials, and hybrid exchange-correlation functionals. The linear and quadratic time-dependent response theory is used to derive analytic expressions for the NAC matrix elements. In contrast to the previous formulation in atomic basis sets, the present formulation eliminates explicit references to Kohn-Sham virtual orbitals. With the introduction of Lagrangian functionals, the present formulation circumvents expensive derivative calculations of Kohn-Sham orbitals with respect to ionic coordinates. As a validation of the formulation, the NAC matrix elements of small molecules LiH and HeH+ are calculated and compared to previous results with the atomic orbital basis. Polyacrylamide has promising applications in a wide variety of fields. However, conventional polyacrylamide is prone to hydrolysis and thermal degradation under high temperature conditions, resulting in a decrease in solution viscosity with increasing temperature, which limits its practical effect. Herein, combining molecular dynamics and practical experiments, we explored a facile and fast mixing strategy to enhance the thermal stability of polyacrylamide by adding common poloxamers to form the interpenetrating network hydrogel. The blending model of three synthetic polyacrylamides (cationic, anionic, and nonionic) and poloxamers was first established, and then the interaction process between them was simulated by all-atom molecular dynamics. In the results, it was found that the hydrogen bonding between the amide groups on all polymers and the oxygen-containing groups (ether and hydroxyl groups) on poloxamers is very strong, which may be the key to improve the high temperature resistance of the hydrogel. Subsequent rheological tests also showed that poloxamers can indeed significantly improve the stability and viscosity of nonionic polyacrylamide containing only amide groups at high temperatures and can maintain a high viscosity of 3550 mPa·S at 80 °C. Transmission electron microscopy further showed that the nonionic polyacrylamide/poloxamer mixture further formed an interpenetrating network structure. In addition, the Fourier transform infrared test also proved the existence of strong hydrogen bonding between the two polymers. Carbamazepine (CBZ) is a widely used anticonvulsant drug that has been detected in aquatic environments. This study investigated the toxicity of its by-products (CBZ-BPs), which may surpass CBZ. Unlike the previous studies, this study offered a more systematic approach to identifying toxic BPs and inferring degradation pathways. Furthermore, quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations were employed to analyze CBZ-BP structures and degradation pathways. Evaluation of total organic carbon (TOC) and total nitrogen (TN) mineralization rates, revealed carbon (C) greater susceptibility to mineralization compared with nitrogen (N). Furthermore, three rules were established for CBZ decarbonization and N removal during degradation, observing the transformation of aromatic compounds into aliphatic hydrocarbons and stable N-containing organic matter over time. Five potentially highly toxic BPs were screened from 14 identified BPs, with toxicity predictions guiding the selection of commercial standards for quantification and true toxicity testing. Additionally, BP207 emerged as the most toxic, supported by the predictive toxicity accumulation model (PTAM). Notably, highly toxic BPs feature an acridine structure, indicating its significant contribution to toxicity. These findings offered valuable insights into the degradation mechanisms of emerging contaminants and the biosafety of aquatic environments during deep oxidation. The carbon-nylon hybrid fibers were employed to modify the silica sol shell for investment casting, and these shells were sintered in vacuum. An optimized mixing process was applied to improve the dispersion of hybrid fibers in slurry, then resulting in the excellent slurry uniformity. The modified shell fabricated by slurry with 4 g/L hybrid fiber displays a higher sintered strength of 5.46 MPa, which is derived from the increased crack propagation path and the dissipated more loading energy through interfacial debonding and friction of the remained carbon fiber pull-out. In addition, the permeabilities of silica sol shells are obviously improved due to the existence of holes in matrix resulted from the melting of nylon fibers during the sintering process. Nowadays, laser processing technology is being used more and more in various fields, and the requirements for laser control procedures are getting higher and higher. This paper aims to study the path generation problem of laser marking technology in order to improve the efficiency of laser marking as well as the protection of the marking material. Therefore, we creatively propose two-path generation methods, namely, sawtooth parallel and contour parallel, and design the boundary curve offset algorithm and domain partition intersection algorithm for the computer simulation of the two marking paths, respectively. Through the simulation, we discussed the efficiency and marking quality of the two path generation methods and gave the conclusion that the efficiency of the sawtooth parallel path generation method is greater than that of the contour parallel path generation method under specific parameters. The small brown planthopper, Laodelphax striatellus (Hemiptera: Delphacidae), is an efficient vector of several economically important plant viruses. In this study, a novel reovirus-like virus was identified in L. striatellus , named Laodelphax striatellus reovirus (LSRV). The complete genome of LSRV was 28,207 nt, comprising of ten segments encoded 11 deduced proteins. All genome segments were conserved with AGUAA at the 5′-terminal and GUUGUC at 3′-terminal and segment-specific inverted terminal repeats. In addition, genomic characteristics and phylogenetic analysis suggested that LSRV was a new member of genus Fijivirus. Importantly, LSRV was widely distributed in various tissues and highest expressed in adult heads. However, LSRV was unable to horizontal replication in rice plants. Moreover, typical profiles of LSRV-derived small interfering RNAs indicated host antiviral RNA interference pathway was involved in LSRV infection. To adapt to the complex application of polyurethane bearings, it is feasible to improve the tribological performance of single polyurethane-based friction materials through the synergistic effect produced by multi-component-lubricating fillers. In this context, rather than using tungsten disulfide (WS2), which has demonstrated excellent self-lubricating performance as a lubricating oil additive, this paper proposes that WS2 and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) can be designed for addition into a polyether 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) polyurethane matrix as self-lubricating fillers so as to explore the synergistic effect of micro- and nano-lubricating fillers on the tribological performance of polyurethane matrix materials. Through a series of characterizations and tests, it was found that the dispersion of two-component-lubricating additives in a polyurethane matrix is improved when the ratio of WS2 to SWNTs is roughly 2:1. In this case, the tribological performance of polyurethane matrix composites is more satisfactory than at other ratios. In addition, compared with the blank sample, the tribological performance of the synergistically modified polyurethane composites under dry friction is more significantly improved with the increase in contact load, while there is no significant improvement under water lubrication. Aside from contributing to the idea of exploring the synergistic effect of WS2 and other micro or nanofillers, this method also opens up the possibility of practically applying WS2 in the field of friction. The presence of the large channel in fractured-vuggy reservoirs diminishes the sweep efficiency of any water, gas or polymer flooding. This paper presents a novel type of rubber particle for water shutoff agent and the flow direction of water is adjusted by plugging the large channel. Simultaneously, through the microscopic displacement experiment of the organic glass etching model, the water flow behavior and injection parameters optimization are studied. The results show that the resistance of solid media to fluid flow is almost zero when the oil-water two-phase flow occurs, and the gravity action is prominent. Therefore, there are still a lot of residual oil of karst cave, flow around oil and attic oil with poor connectivity after the fractured-vuggy reservoir is displaced by injected water. In addition, the rubber particles can form a temporary plugging zone by migration – accumulation – bridging under formation conditions, resulting in the flow direction of subsequent injection water changes from the large channel to the small channel, thereby reducing water content and increasing oil production. By optimizing the injection parameters of rubber particles, the optimal injection volume, particle size and injection speed are obtained, which are 0.02PV, 0–1 mm, 2–4 mm and 25 mL/min, respectively. Rifted passive margins exhibit a large variety in the timing, distribution, and amount of magmatism. The factors controlling magmatism during rifted margin formation, remain, however, incompletely understood, partly owing to the complex rifting styles. In this study, we use 2‐Dimensional numerical models to investigate the effects of depth‐dependent wide rifting and lithospheric counterflow on magmatism during rifted margin formation. Results show that a strong crust promotes narrow margins with a sharp transition to normal thickness oceanic crust whereas a weak crust promotes depth‐dependent wide rifting, with preferential removal of mantle lithosphere, leading to formation of wide margins with over‐thickened (>18 km) igneous crust in the distal margin. Counterflow of depleted lithospheric mantle, in contrast, may delay syn‐rift magmatism, and result in exhumed a‐magmatic continental mantle at narrow margins. The combination of wide rifting and lithospheric counterflow results in magma‐poor wide margins, with in some cases a transition to excess magmatic activity at breakup. Our models provide an explanation for the contrasting magmatic productivity at narrow and wide rifted margins, such as observed in the Lofoten‐Vesterålen, Newfoundland, Kwanza Basin, and Orange Basin margins. Rifted margins exhibit a large variety in magmatism, ranging from non‐volcanic margins with little magmatism to volcanic margins with excess magmatism. To account for the variety of magmatism at rifted margins, earlier studies have focused on variations in temperature or composition of the sub‐lithospheric mantle. In this paper, we explore and show that the lithosphere may also control the amount of magmatic volume during rifting. A weak crust leads to wide rifting and depth‐dependent extension, with later breakup of the continental crust and preferential removal of lithospheric mantle, which allows for a larger volume of upwelling of sub‐lithospheric mantle and increased magmatic accretion during rifting. A thick and depleted mantle may lead to lithospheric counterflow that delays upwelling of sub‐lithospheric mantle and inhibits magmatism. A combination of the two factors may explain contrasting rifting styles and magmatic activity at narrow and wide rifted margins, such as observed in the Lofoten‐Vesterålen, Newfoundland, Kwanza Basin, and Orange Basin margins. A notable discrepancy in tensile ductility was observed between two 2205 duplex stainless steels (DSS) containing layered and island-like austenite microstructures. The deformation behavior of both DSS 2205 was compared through in-situ Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) techniques. The results indicated that the microscopic deformation mechanism for both DSS 2205 was governed by dislocation slip. The observed tensile ductility disparity was attributed to differences in dislocation slip behavior. In DSS 2205 with island austenite, slip transfer and blocking across grain boundaries occurred simultaneously, which was determined by the geometrical compatibility factor (m') calculations of adjacent ferrite and austenite grains. This intensified plastic inhomogeneities and promoted non-Schmid dislocation slip behavior. While in layered austenite of DSS 2205, the activation of slip system strictly adhered to the principle of maximizing the Schmid factor. Multiple slip systems in the ferrite on {110} and {112} planes were activated, inducing cross-slip, which enhanced ductility. The better ductility of DSS 2205 featuring layered austenite compared to the counterpart was further explained by quantitative analysis of geometrically necessary dislocations (GND) distribution in both phases and kernel average misorientation (KAM) values during deformation. Knowledge Distillation (KD) has shown great promise in improving the performance of tiny neural networks. Most existing KD methods have the large teacher–student discrepancy, thus, students hardly learn useful knowledge and may not achieve effective distillation. In this paper, we focus on the construction and training of homogeneous teachers and propose the novel Buffer Knowledge Distillation (BKD), which reduces the teacher–student discrepancy in terms of network architecture and distilled knowledge. Particularly, we first construct a series of homogeneous networks with larger capacity based on the student. A width-by-width fine-tuning mechanism is developed to reduce training costs of homogeneous networks, and the one with the highest accuracy is selected as the teacher. Furthermore, we propose BKD to reduce the learning difficulty, in which teacher and student features are fused into buffer features by our new multi-scale feature fusion module. Extensive experiments for image classification have been conducted to verify the homogeneous teacher based BKD, which consistently outperforms many existing KD methods. The results show that our method achieves up to 4.75% accuracy improvement on CIFAR-100, and the width-by-width fine-tuning mechanism incurs 33.58% and 36.08% less training time on CIFAR-100 and CIFAR-10, respectively. Late Triassic sedimentary successions in the Sichuan Basin contain records about the transition from marine to continental environments. In this study, we focused on the field profile of the Xujiahe Formation to analyze its sedimentary distribution and provenance by using petrological, sedimentary facies, geochemistry, and provenance analyses. The results have shown that the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in the Guangyuan area consists of marine and continental clastic materials. The potential source areas for these sediments include the Qinling orogenic belt, Longmen Mountain structural belt, and Motianling ancient land. Negeviruses are a group of insect-specific viruses that have a wide geographic distribution and broad host range. In recent years, nege-like viruses have been discovered in aphids of various genera of the family Aphididae, including Aphis, Rhopalosiphum, Sitobion, and Indomegoura. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of a nege-like virus isolated from Astegopteryx formosana aphids collected in Guangdong, China, which we have designated as "Astegopteryx formosana nege-like virus" (AFNLV). AFNLV has a genome length of 10,107 nt (excluding the polyA tail) and possesses the typical conserved domains of negeviruses. These include a viral methyltransferase, an S-adenosylmethionine-dependent methyltransferase, a viral helicase, and an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRP) domain in open reading frame 1 (ORF1), a DiSB-ORF2_chro domain in ORF2, and a SP24 domain in ORF3. The genome of AFNLV shares the highest nucleotide sequence identity (74.89%) with Wuhan house centipede virus, identified in a mixture of barley aphids. As clearly revealed by RdRP-based phylogenetic analysis, AFNLV, together with other negeviruses and nege-like viruses discovered in aphids, formed a distinct "unclassified clade" closely related to members of the proposed genus "Sandewavirus" and the family Kitaviridae. In addition, small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) derived from AFNLV did not exhibit typical characteristics of virus-derived siRNAs processed by the host RNAi-based antiviral pathway. However, the extremely high abundance of viral transcripts (average read coverage 73,403X) strongly suggested that AFNLV might actively replicate in the aphid host. AFNLV described in this study is the first nege-like virus discovered in aphids of the genus Astegopteryx, which will contribute to future study of the co-evolution of nege/nege-like viruses and their host aphids. Synergistic effects have been extensively investigated in the modification of polymer materials. To gain complete insights into the effect of two-component synergy on the tribology performance of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), this study selected single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and MoS2 as the solid additives to prepare several composite materials. Subsequently, the tribology property of the composites was analyzed. It was reported that the agglomeration phenomenon could be improved by regulating the ratio of SWNTs and MoS2. In addition, SWNTs could effectively improve the friction and wear properties exhibited by the composites and promote the mechanical properties exhibited by the composites. To reduce NOx (nitrogen oxide) emissions from fossil fuel and biomass-fired power plants, online prediction of NOx emissions is important in the plant operation. Data-driven models have been developed to predict NOx emissions from various combustion processes with good accuracy. However, such models have initially been built based on known combustion conditions, which are historically “seen”. For new conditions, which are “unseen”, these models usually perform unwell. In this study, an online deep learning (ODL) model is proposed to predict NOx emissions from an oxy-biomass combustion process for “seen” and “unseen” combustion conditions based on source deep learning and condition recognition models. The ODL model is mainly built based on “unseen” combustion conditions. A new objective function that consists of regression loss and distillation loss is introduced in the ODL model to improve the prediction accuracy. The ODL model is examined using boiler operation data, flame temperature maps, and NOx data obtained under a range of oxy-biomass combustion conditions on an Oxy-Fuel Combustion Test Facility. Flame images acquired using a dedicated imaging system are used for computing the temperature distribution of the flame through two-color pyrometry. The results demonstrate that the proposed model is capable of predicting NOx emissions under “seen” and “unseen” conditions with a mean absolute percentage error of less than 3%, for the first, second, and third updates. Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most frequently diagnosed neurodegenerative disease. The purpose of this study was to investigate the link between microbiota composition in important mucosal interfaces (oral, nasal, and intestinal) and PD. Sequencing was undertaken of the V4–V5 region of the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene of the microbiome from the oral cavity, nasal cavity, and gut of 91 PD patients and 91 healthy controls. Significant differences were found in microbiota composition in the oral cavity and gut, but not the nasal cavity, between PD patients and healthy controls after adjusting for age, gender, and body mass index (BMI). More genera in the oral cavity were significantly positively correlated with clinical characteristics, such as the HAMA and HAMD rating scales. The taxa c_ Clostridia , o_ Clostridiales , and f_ Ruminococcaceae in the gut microbiota were associated with weight and MMSE score. Furthermore, as a result of dysbiosis, there was an enrichment of ion channel-, oxidative phosphorylation-, and carbohydrate metabolism-related pathways in the oral cavity and glycolysis/gluconeogenesis- and propanoate metabolism-related pathways in the intestine. Changes in these pathways can influence metabolism and inflammation, thereby contributing to PD pathogenesis. In addition, several subnetworks containing differentially abundant microbiota in the oral cavity and gut samples from PD patients may regulate microbial composition and function in PD. Overall, our results indicate that oral and gut dysbiosis may affect PD progression and provide a basis for understanding the pathogenesis of PD and identifying potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of this disease. Multiple myeloma (MM) is one of the most common types of hematologic malignancy for which the underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unclear. Dysregulated miRNA expression has been shown to be involved in MM tumorigenesis, progression and drug response. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis based on miRNA-level integrated strategy was performed. This study aimed to elucidate key miRNA signatures and pathways in MM by integrated bioinformatics analysis. Expression profiles GSE24371, GSE49261 and GSE54156 were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database, and differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMirs) with p < 0.05 were identified. The target genes of these DEMirs were obtained from ENCORI database, and functional enrichment, subpathway enrichment and protein–protein interaction network construction were performed. The key target genes were identified by random walk algorithm and survival verification was performed. and discussion: First, six up-regulated and four down-regulated DEMirs shared between any two GSE data sets were identified. Second, target genes (DEMirTGs) by up-regulated and down-regulated DEMirs were obtained. Functional and subpathway enrichment analysis showed that these up-regulated DEMirs are consistently involved in the Wnt signaling pathway. Moreover, enrichment of the down-regulated DEMirs is mainly in the MAPK signaling pathway. Finally, a protein–protein interaction sub-network for these DEMirTGs was constructed, the correlations between the two key genes were identified and survival in MM was evaluated using multiple independent data sets. The superior performance of machine-learning scoring functions for docking has caused a series of debates on whether it is due to learning knowledge from training data that are similar in some sense to the test data. With a systematically revised methodology and a blind benchmark realistically mimicking the process of prospective prediction of binding affinity, we have evaluated three broadly used classical scoring functions and five machine-learning counterparts calibrated with both random forest and extreme gradient boosting using both solo and hybrid features, showing for the first time that machine-learning scoring functions trained exclusively on a proportion of as low as 8% complexes dissimilar to the test set already outperform classical scoring functions, a percentage that is far lower than what has been recently reported on all the three CASF benchmarks. The performance of machine-learning scoring functions is underestimated due to the absence of similar samples in some artificially created training sets that discard the full spectrum of complexes to be found in a prospective environment. Given the inevitability of any degree of similarity contained in a large dataset, the criteria for scoring function selection depend on which one can make the best use of all available materials. • C sf reinforced silica-based ceramic cores were prepared by injection molding method. • C sf reinforced silica-based ceramic cores were sintered in air and N 2 atmosphere. • A significantly enhanced flexural strength of 16.2 MPa is achieved in the ceramic core with 1.5 vol% C sf. • The improved overall performances are attributed to the composite coating on the surface of C sf. Short carbon fiber (C sf) reinforced silica-based ceramic cores for investment casting were prepared by an injection molding approach and sintered in air and N 2 atmospheres, respectively. SEM and XRD results present that there are some in-situ formed silicon carbides (SiC) in sintered samples. Moreover, as for the ceramic cores sintered in N 2 atmosphere, the peaks in XRD patterns related to the cristobalite increase with an increment in C sf content, which may be attributed to the adhesion interface provided by the C sf and the decreased crystallization free energy. Interestingly, the sample sintered in N 2 exhibits a higher flexural strength about 16.2 MPa, which is 155 % times than that of the samples sintered in air. This is originated from an obvious composite coating consisting of fused silica, SiC and cristobalite on the C sf. The regulation of cardiomyocyte differentiation is a fundamental aspect of cardiac development and regenerative medicine. PTEN plays important roles during embryonic development. However, its role in cardiomyocyte differentiation remains unknown. In this study, a low‐cost protocol for cardiomyocyte differentiation from mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCs) is presented and it is shown that Pten deletion potently suppresses cardiomyocyte differentiation. Transcriptome analysis shows that the expression of a series of cardiomyocyte marker genes is downregulated in Pten−/− cardiomyocytes. Pten ablation induces Dnmt3b expression via the AKT/FoxO3a pathway and regulates the expression of a series of imprinted genes, including Igf2. Double knockout of Dnmt3l and Dnmt3b rescues the deficiency of cardiomyocyte differentiation of Pten−/− ESCs. The DNA methylomes from wild‐type and Pten−/− embryoid bodies and cardiomyocytes are analyzed by whole‐genome bisulfite sequencing. Pten deletion significantly promotes the non‐CG (CHG and CHH) methylation levels of genomic DNA during cardiomyocyte differentiation, and the non‐CG methylation levels of cardiomyocyte genes and Igf2 are increased in Pten−/− cardiomyocytes. Igf2 or Igf1r deletion also suppresses cardiomyocyte differentiation through the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway, and IGF2 supplementation partially rescues the cardiomyocyte differentiation. Infrared photodetectors have been used widely in various applications. Significant efforts have been made to improve the performance of the commercial infrared photodetectors including HgCdTe and InGaAs for lowering the fabrication cost, simplifying the fabrication processes and increasing the production yield. Cu 2 Cd x Zn 1-x SnSe 4 (CCZTSe) kesterite material is a good candidate for infrared photodetectors application due to its low cost, abundant raw materials on the earth, tunable band gap. The detection rate is an important performance index for infrared detectors, which is inversely proportional to the square root of the dark current, so reducing the dark current is an effective way to improve the detection rate. In order to minimize the dark current and achieve high responsivity and detectivity for CCZTSe thin film infrared detectors (TFID), intermediate layers (between the CCZTSe and back contact) including MoO 3 , MoSe 2 and MoS 2 are adpoted and their effect on the performance of the detector are studied via SCAPS-1D (a Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator) software. SCAPS simulation shows that the high-functional MoO 3 interfacial layer can reduce the back barrier and dark current of the detector more effectively than the other two. In addition, we find that the carrier concentration of the CCZTSe layer plays a great role on the dark current of the device. The dark current can be reduced significantly to the lowest value when the carrier concentration is 1017 cm−3. Simple Summary: Insect-specific viruses (ISVs) are increasingly recognised for their role in causing severe illnesses and mortality in both humans and animals. In this study, the full genome of ISV (Rice thrips ollusvirus 1, RTOV1) was revealed in rice thrips using metatranscriptome sequencing, RT-PCR, and RACE, respectively. RTOV1 has a typical linear G-N-L genome structure of the order Jingchuvirales. Phylogenetic analysis categorised this virus as an Ollusvirus. The infection of host insects with RTOV1 triggered antiviral RNA interference (RNAi), resulting in a significant accumulation of 22-nt virus-derived small interfering RNAs (vsiRNAs), with a notable bias towards the A/U content. Our study provides valuable information on ISVs in thrips that may be useful for pest management. Insects constitute the largest proportion of animals on Earth and act as significant reservoirs and vectors in disease transmission. Rice thrips (Haplothrips aculeatus, family Phlaeothripidae) are one of the most common pests in agriculture. In this study, the full genome sequence of a novel Ollusvirus, provisionally named "Rice thrips ollusvirus 1" (RTOV1), was elucidated using transcriptome sequencing and the rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). A homology search and phylogenetic tree analysis revealed that the newly identified virus is a member of the family Aliusviridae (order Jingchuvirales). The genome of RTOV1 contains four predicted open reading frames (ORFs), including a polymerase protein (L, 7590 nt), a glycoprotein (G, 4206 nt), a nucleocapsid protein (N, 2415 nt) and a small protein of unknown function (291 nt). All of the ORFs are encoded by the complementary genome, suggesting that the virus is a negative-stranded RNA virus. Phylogenetic analysis using polymerase sequences suggested that RTOV1 was closely related to ollusvirus 1. Deep small RNA sequencing analysis reveals a significant accumulation of small RNAs derived from RTOV1, indicating that the virus replicated in the insect. According to our understanding, this is the first report of an Ollusvirus identified in a member of the insect family Phlaeothripidae. Gait analysis has been widely used to examine the behavioral presentation of numerous neurological disorders. Thorough murine model evaluation of the subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)‐associated gait deficits is missing. This study measures gait deficits using a clinically relevant murine model of SAH to examine associations between gait variability and SAH‐associated gene expressions. A total of 159 dynamic and static gait parameters from the endovascular perforation murine model for simulating clinical human SAH were determined using the CatWalk system. Eighty gait parameters and the mRNA expression levels of 35 of the 88 SAH‐associated genes were differentially regulated in the diseased models. Totals of 42 and 38 gait parameters correlated with the 35 SAH‐associated genes positively and negatively with Pearson's correlation coefficients of >0.7 and <−0.7, respectively. p‐SP1453 expression in the motor cortex in SAH animal models displays a significant correlation with a subset of gait parameters associated with muscular strength and coordination of limb movements. Our data highlights a strong correlation between gait variability and SAH‐associated gene expression. p‐SP1453 expression could act as a biomarker to monitor SAH pathological development and a therapeutic target for SAH. Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is a viral disease of cattle caused by LSD virus (LSDV). This disease poses a significant threat to stockbreeding and is listed as one of bovine notifiable diseases by OIE. Before 2019, LSD has not been reported in China. The first LSD outbreak was determined in China on August 3, 2019. Since then, a total of 7 LSD outbreaks have been reported in other 6 provinces in China, infecting 91 and killing 7 cattle. As of now, LSDV was detected in western and eastern China and also in Taiwan Island outside Mainland China. LSD is undoubtedly an emerging threat to the cattle industry in China. We investigate the structures of hydrated electrons (e−aq) in one of water's solid phases, namely, clathrate hydrates (CHs). Using density functional theory (DFT) calculations, DFT-based ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD), and path-integral AIMD simulations with periodic boundary conditions, we find that the structure of the e−aq@node model is in good agreement with the experiment, suggesting that an e−aq could form a node in CHs. The node is a H2O defect in CHs that is supposed to be composed of four unsaturated hydrogen bonds. Since CHs are porous crystals that possess cavities that can accommodate small guest molecules, we expect that these guest molecules can be used to tailor the electronic structure of the e−aq@node, and it leads to experimentally observed optical absorption spectra of CHs. The late Eocene-to-early Oligocene Taveyannaz Formation is a turbidite series deposited in the Northern Alpine Foreland Basin (close to the Alpine orogenic front). Double dating of zircons with the fission-track and the U–Pb methods is applied on samples from the Taveyannaz Formation to reconstruct the exhumation history of the Central-Western Alps and to understand the syn-collisional magmatism along the Periadriatic lineament. Three samples from this unit show similar detrital zircon fission-track age populations that center at: 33–40 Ma (20%); 69–92 Ma (30–40%); and 138–239 Ma (40–50%). The youngest population contains both syn-volcanic and basement grains. Combined with zircon U–Pb data, it suggests that the basement rocks of Apulian-affinity nappes (Margna Sesia, Austroalpine) were the major sources of detritus, together with the Ivrea Zone and recycled Prealpine flysch, that contributed debris to the Northern Alpine Foreland Basin. Furthermore, the rocks of the Sesia–Lanzo Zone or of equivalent units exposed at that time presumably provided the youngest basement zircon fission-track ages to the basin. The Biella volcanic suite was the source of volcanogenic zircons. Oligocene sediment pathways from source to sink crossed further crystalline basement units and sedimentary covers before entering the basin from the southeast. The lag times of the youngest basement age populations (volcanic zircons excluded) are about 11 Myr. This constrains average moderate-to-high exhumation rate of 0.5–0.6 km/Myr in the pro-side of the orogenic wedge of the Central Alps during the late Eocene to early Oligocene. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recycling of oceanic lithosphere and serpentinized peridotites into the mantle leads to dehydration melting and volcanic arcs. However, the mechanism of the occurrence of long‐term volcanic gap in subduction zones remains poorly understood. Two‐dimensional thermomechanical numerical models focusing on resisting the transport of the major hosts of hydrous minerals to mantle depths, show that thin oceanic crust together with rheologically weak and buoyant serpentinized mantle could result in hydrated lithologies piling up in the accretionary wedge and no or sparse occurrence of arc magmatism. This scenario may occur during subduction of oceanic lithosphere formed at (ultra)slow‐spreading margins characterized by thin crust and extensive mantle serpentinization, which is a plausible explanation for the "arc gaps" in the Alps and southern Tibet. Plain Language Summary: Volcanic arcs in subduction zones are widespread and are mainly attributed to slab dehydration and subsequent mantle hydrous melting. However, the magmatic history of the Alps and southern Tibet is characterized by two periods of "arc gap" (i.e., no volcanism) that lasted for 40–50 Myr and 10–30 Myr, respectively, with no or only very sparse magmatism and simultaneous exhumation of serpentinized mantle slivers. Our numerical models indicate that thin oceanic crust, such as that formed at (ultra)slow‐spreading centers, together with an extensively serpentinized lithosphere facilitates the removal of the subducting crust at shallow depths resulting in limited arc magmatism. The role of dissolved organic matters (DOM) in the matrix of water on the degradation of refractory pharmaceutical has aroused broad concerns. However, The effect of alpha-hydroxy acids as vulnerable aliphatic acids in the water on the degradation of Carbamazepine (CBZ) has been lack of research. The decomposition kinetics and transformation products (TPs) of CBZ by UV/H2O2 process were studied in the existence of glycolic acid (GA) and lactic acid (LA) and the degradation pathways were proposed. Both GA and LA had significantly negative effects on the decomposition kinetics and mineralization of CBZ by UV/H 2 O 2 process. The declination of steady-state OH concentration in the presence of GA and LA justified the negative effects. GA was demonstrated to be stronger at scavenging and competing OH with CBZ, compared with LA, with the rate constant of slightly less than the common OH scavenger methanol. One-step dosing mode of H 2 O 2 was better than multi-step dosing mode for CBZ decomposition, especially in the presence of GA and LA. The identification of TP253a, TP253b, TP271a, TP271b, TP226, and TP180 in the absence and presence of GA and LA were performed by HPLC-MS/MS and two main degradation pathways were presented. Except for TP271a and TP271b, GA and LA retarded the abundance peaks of other four TPs, of which the formation kinetics rates and decay kinetics rates were negatively affected. Tailing peaks of all TPs caused by GA and LA inevitably resulted in the toxicity of the treated effluent of UV/H 2 O 2 process even when CBZ was decomposed completely. Therefore, alpha-hydroxy acids play important roles in determining the fate and transformation of refractory pharmaceuticals in AOPs treatment. Late Paleogene syn-tectonic magmatic products are known from sandstones contained in the North Alpine (NAFB) and South Alpine (SAFB) foreland basins and in the South Alpine pelagic Trento Basin. The generally turbiditic and mass-flow deposits grade up from marly hemipelagic deeper water series. The source and amount of the reworked volcanic materials have been in debate for a long time. As a proxy for the magma-derived input we use the U–Pb geochronology and geochemistry [176Hf/177Hf(t) and Eu/Eu* ratios] of detrital zircons, and evaluate their temporal and genetic relationships with potential volcanic sources in the Periadriatic magmatic systems (Adamello, Bergell, Biella). The oldest volcanic sources (Lutetian–Priabonian) we identify are in the Trento Basin and Glarus NAFB. During most Rupelian, Bergell and Biella volcaniclastics were delivered to the NAFB in the Glarus, Alpe de Taveyanne and Haute-Savoie. Bergell and minor Adamello magmatic material were supplied to the Villa Olmo Conglomerate in the SAFB. During late Rupelian–Chattian in the entire NAFB, the influx of Paleogene volcanic material faded out. At the same time in the SAFB, the Como Conglomerate shows mixed input from Biella and Bergell. High numbers of old zircons (> 90%) in the NAFB document the asymmetry of the early Alpine orogenic wedge exposing large basement areas to the north of the Periadriatic intrusions. The syn-sedimentary right-lateral movement along the Periadriatic fault system is identified as the main driver of magmatic activity, uplift, and exposure to erosion and transport to the basins. • Hydroiodic acid additive triggers extreme sensitivity of grain sizes to CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 precursor stoichiometry. • Precursor stoichiometry engineering enables CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 film with average grain size of ∼1.75 μm. • Large-grained CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 film realizes the perovskite solar cell with efficiency of 19.29%. We demonstrate that the sensitivity of grain sizes to precursor CH 3 NH 3 I/PbI 2 molar ratio can be promoted by hydroiodic acid additive for one-step spin-coated CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 film. Thus, the full-coverage, high-crystallinity CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 film with average grain size of ∼1.75 μm can be obtained by simply adjusting precursor molar ratio. Planar perovskite solar cell (PSC) with this desired film yields the optimized efficiency of 19.29%. The genus Hunnivirus , which has been identified in sheep, cattle, and rats, was first proposed in the family Picornaviridae by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses in 2013. In this study, a hunnivirus was detected in fecal samples collected from a diarrheic cat in Southern China in 2017. Genome sequencing and analysis indicated that the novel hunnivirus has the same genome organization as reported for other hunniviruses, 5′UTR-L-P1(VP4-VP2-VP3-VP1)-P2(2A-2B-2C)-P3(3A-3B-3Cpro-3Dpol)-3′UTR, but is genetically divergent. This hunnivirus is proposed as a novel genotype of the species Hunnivirus A and provisionally designated feline hunnivirus. Abstract A hollow graphitized carbon nanosphere/mixed-valence manganese oxide composite (HMO) was successfully synthesized via a SiO 2 template and impregnation-reduction method. The chemical valence and content of manganese species were controlled by the reaction time of impregnation-reduction process. The HMO composite obtained by impregnation-reduction for 6 h (HMO-6) shows a large specific capacitance (292.5 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1), excellent cycling stability (96.8% after 5000 cycles at 1 A g−1) and rate performance (155.3 F g−1 at 10 A g−1). The interior graphitized carbon shell, hollow porous structure, higher surface area, and appropriate percentage of Mn2+, Mn3+ and Mn4+ species are responsible for the superior electrochemical performance. The asymmetric supercapacitor composed of HMO-6 and hollow graphitized carbon nanosphere (HCS) also shows a superior electrochemical performance in all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor. The design and synthesis strategy of electrode materials offers a promising approach to develop high-performance manganese oxide supercapacitors.
