Introduction: The demographic transition in Brazil has led individuals over 50 years old to remain involved in labor activities for a longer time. Concomitantly, there is the appearance of the “gig” economy, characterized by the provision of services, through online platforms or mobile applications, as in the case of transport applications. Such changes in the work context can bring challenges and experiences, positive and negative to the worker. In this sense, the role of the occupational therapist stands out as the professional who can support older adults and elderly people in the search for and involvement in everyday occupations modified by technology and impacted by crises in the economy. Objective: to analyze the motivation and perception of workers aged 50 or over about working with mobile transport apps. Method: a study with a qualitative, transversal, exploratory, and descriptive approach. Participants were recruited by invitation from social networking groups of mobile transport application workers and by referral. For data collection, a socioeconomic questionnaire and an interview were analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis. Results:The participants were ten drivers, aged between 50 and 63 years old, in which the main motivation for working with applications was due to be unemployed in the period of the Brazilian economic crisis and found it difficult to gain replacement in the job market due to the preference for young people. The main negative aspect listed by the drivers was insecurity, and as a positive aspect, the flexibility of working hours and the importance of involvement in work activities for the construction of identity. Conclusion: During the changes in the population's age profile and in the ways of working, it is necessary to develop more analyzes on aging, work, and technology aimed at the practice of Occupational Therapy.

Resumo Introdução A transição demográfica no Brasil tem levado indivíduos com mais de 50 anos a permanecer por mais tempo envolvidos em atividades laborais. Concomitantemente, nota-se o surgimento da chamada economia “gig”, caracterizada pela oferta de serviços, por meio de plataformas online ou aplicativos móveis, como o caso dos aplicativos de transporte. Tais mudanças no contexto laboral podem acarretar desafios e vivências, positivas e negativas ao trabalhador. Nessa direção, destaca-se o papel do terapeuta ocupacional como o profissional que pode apoiar adultos mais velhos e idosos na busca e no envolvimento em ocupações cotidianas modificadas pela tecnologia e impactadas por crises na economia. Objetivo Analisar a motivação e a percepção de trabalhadores com 50 anos ou mais acerca do trabalho com aplicativos móveis de transporte. Método Estudo com abordagem qualitativa, transversal, exploratório e descritivo. Os participantes foram recrutados por meio de convite em grupos de redes sociais formados por trabalhadores de aplicativos móveis de transporte e por indicação. Para coleta de dados, utilizou-se questionário socioeconômico e entrevista analisada por meio da Análise de Temática de Conteúdo. Resultados Participaram 10 motoristas, com idade entre 50 e 63 anos, que apontaram como principal motivação para o trabalho com aplicativos o fato de estarem desempregados no período da crise econômica brasileira e terem encontrado dificuldade de conquistar recolocação no mercado de trabalho devido à preferência por pessoas mais jovens. O principal aspecto negativo elencado pelos motoristas foi a insegurança e como aspecto positivo foi citada a flexibilidade de horário e a importância do envolvimento em atividades laborais para a construção da identidade. Conclusão Em meio às alterações no perfil etário populacional e nos modos de trabalho, é necessário o desenvolvimento de novos estudos que relacionem envelhecimento, trabalho e tecnologia visando à prática da terapia ocupacional. Introdução: A utilização de metodologias ativas no processo de ensino-aprendizagem constitui uma estratégia pedagógica diferenciada que contribui para o aprendizado relevante e duradouro. Objetivo: O estudo buscou descrever a experiência da utilização da metodologia da problematização no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de acadêmicas inseridas em um projeto de extensão. Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada com acadêmicas do curso de Terapia Ocupacional. Para a coletas dos dados, foram realizados grupos focais, uma vez por semana, por um período de 12 semanas, com duração média de 1hora. Para a condução dos grupos, as docentes-mediadoras seguiam a proposta do Esquema do Arco de Charles Maguerez. Resultados: A metodologia adotada permitiu, a partir de situações reais, identificar situações-problemas relacionadas ao processo de inclusão digital, em que destaca os níveis diversificados de conhecimentos e a insegurança para desempenhar o papel de monitora. Os grupos focais permitiram planejar e selecionar estratégias para conduzir a Oficina. Conclusão: A metodologia da problematização mostrou ser uma estratégia interessante para o amadurecimento acadêmico e profissional.AbstractIntroduction: The use of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process is a differentiated pedagogical strategy that contributes to relevant and lasting learning. Objective: The study aimed to describe the experience of using the methodology of the problem-solving in the teachinglearning process of academics inserted in an extension project. Methods: This is a qualitative research, carried out with students of the Occupational Therapy course who conducted a digital inclusion workshop. The data collection was performed through the analysis of the reflexive field diaries that were constructed and the transcripts of the focus groups held after the digital inclusion extension project for adults and older people meetings. For the conduction of the groups, the mediator-teachers followed the proposal of the Scheme of the Arch of Charles Maguerez. Results: The adopted methodology allowed, from the observation of reality, to identify situations-problems related to the development of the extensionist action, which were listed and theorized, allowing the planning and selection of strategies to solve them. This allowed to broaden the knowledge of the subject worked on the extension and to favor the personal maturation, as well as to promote the development of competences for the professional pratice. Conclusion: The problematization methodology proved to be an interesting strategy for the academic maturity and the development of professional competences, since it made the students active and critical throughout the development process of the Arch.Keywords: Learning; Methodology; Occupational Therapy; Teaching.

RESUMO: O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar as representações sociais da aposentadoria para professores que trabalham em duas universidades federais do nordeste brasileiro. Foram realizadas vinte entrevistas narrativas, pareadas por sexo e instituição, com professores universitários que possuíam 50 anos ou mais de idade. As entrevistas transcritas foram analisadas com auxílio de software de análise textual, do tipo lexicográfica. Os resultados indicaram a composição de seis classes textuais e as representações sociais mais fortes se referiam à aposentadoria como nova etapa de vida, retorno à família, envelhecimento, viagens e lazer. Para os entrevistados, as representações sociais da aposentadoria foram positivas, no entanto, a perspectiva de um trabalho satisfatório, somado ao medo em relação às mudanças previdenciárias e a própria vida, reforçam a intenção de adiar a aposentadoria. Não houve diferenças significativas entre instituições, o que demonstra certa homogeneidade das representações para esse grupo profissional.Palavras-chaves: aposentadoria; professores; representação social; universidade federal.ABSTRACT: This study aimed to analyze social representations of retirement among professors that work at two federal universities in northeastern Brazil. Twenty narrative interviews were carried out, paired by gender and institution, with university professors aged 50 and above. The transcribed interviews were analyzed with the aid of lexicographical text analysis software. The results indicated six text categories and the strongest social representations referred to retirement as a new phase in life, a return to family, aging, travel and leisure. For the interviewees, the social representations of retirement were positive, however, the prospect of a satisfactory job, added to the fear in relation to social security changes and life itself, reinforce the intention to postpone retirement. There were no significant differences between institutions, which demonstrates a certain homogeneity in representations among this professional group.Keywords: retirement; professors; social representation; federal university.

Essa pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar representações sociais do trabalho docente e da aposentadoria, considerando as práticas sociais de professores de duas universidades públicas federais. Para isso, buscamos identificar estrutura e conteúdo das representações sociais que permeiam o discurso sobre os temas e associar informações sobre características sociodemográficas, percepção da condição de trabalho e situação familiar com as representações sociais desses temas e suas práticas sociais. O estudo buscou responder os seguintes questionamentos: “quais são as representações sociais dos docentes de instituições públicas federais acerca do seu trabalho e da aposentadoria? Como as representações sociais do trabalho e da aposentadoria se associam para a construção das práticas desse grupo profissional?” Para alcançar os objetivos foram aplicadas técnicas quantitativas e qualitativas paralelamente, com uso de questionário online (313) e entrevistas narrativas (20). Os resultados indicaram que as representações sociais do trabalho docente abrangem quatro dimensões: ser, fazer, saber e sentir, o que sugere que esse tipo de trabalho envolve identidade, conhecimento, ação e emoção. A relação professor-aluno aparece como construtora de representações mais significativas do trabalho. As práticas docentes que mais se destacaram foram a pesquisa, o ensino e a gestão. A prática docente é construtora de uma identidade profissional que interfere nas representações sociais da aposentadoria no sentido de quanto maior a identificação com o trabalho docente maior o adiamento da aposentadoria. As representações sociais da aposentadoria mais fortes e positivas foram: o retorno ao lar, melhor convivência familiar, nova etapa e tempo para lazer e viagens. As negativas foram: medo da ociosidade, adoecimento e velhice. Não houve diferenças significativas entre as instituições. O estudo cumpriu com o objetivo de avançar na teoria no que diz respeito a associações entre representações sociais de fenômenos diferentes e da associação entre as representações sociais e práticas sociais. A pesquisa pretende ajudar nas construções de políticas voltadas aos professores que estejam planejando aposentar-se assim como disseminar uma nova forma de se perceber e planejar esse momento. This study aimed to analyze social representations of teaching and retirement based on the social practices of professors from two public federal universities. For this purpose we tried to identify the structure and content of social representations that permeate the discourse on these issues and to associate information on sociodemographic characteristics, perceptions of work conditions and family situation with the social representation of these issues and their social practices. The study tried to answer the following questions: what are the social representations of teachers from federal public institutions regarding their work and retirement? How do social representations of work and retirement become associated to construct the practices of this professional group? In order to reach the objectives, quantitative and qualitative techniques were applied in parallel, with an online questionnaire (313) and narrative interviews (20). The results indicated that social representations of teaching encompass four dimensions: being, doing, knowing and feeling, which suggests that this type of work involves identity, knowledge, action and emotion. The professor-student relationship helps build more significant representations of work. The teaching practices that stood out the most were research, teaching and management. Teaching practices build a professional identity that interferes in the social representations of retirement in the sense that retirement may be delayed due to the great identification with the job. The strongest positive social representations of retirement were: returning home, better family living, a new phase and time for leisure and travel. The strongest negative representations were: fear of idleness, illness and aging. There were no significant differences between institutions. The study fulfilled its objective of theoretically advancing in relation to associations between social representations and different phenomena and the association between social representations and social practices. It aims to help construct policies for professors that plan to retire, as well as a new compreension the retirement moment e interference in the institucional culture.
