SUMMARY: Chromatin in eukaryotes folds into a complex three‐dimensional (3D) structure that is essential for controlling gene expression and cellular function and is dynamically regulated in biological processes. Studies on plant phosphorus signaling have concentrated on single genes and gene interactions. It is critical to expand the existing signaling pathway in terms of its 3D structure. In this study, low‐Pi treatment led to greater chromatin volume. Furthermore, low‐Pi stress increased the insulation score and the number of TAD‐like domains, but the effects on the A/B compartment were not obvious. The methylation levels of target sites (hereafter as RdDM levels) peaked at specific TAD‐like boundaries, whereas RdDM peak levels at conserved TAD‐like boundaries shifted and decreased sharply. The distribution pattern of RdDM sites originating from the Helitron transposons matched that of genome‐wide RdDM sites near TAD‐like boundaries. RdDM pathway genes were upregulated in the middle or early stages and downregulated in the later stages under low‐Pi conditions. The RdDM pathway mutant ddm1a showed increased tolerance to low‐Pi stress, with shortened and thickened roots contributing to higher Pi uptake from the shallow soil layer. ChIP‐seq results revealed that ZmDDM1A could bind to Pi‐ and root development‐related genes. Strong associations were found between interacting genes in significantly different chromatin‐interaction regions and root traits. These findings not only expand the mechanisms by which plants respond to low‐Pi stress through the RdDM pathway but also offer a crucial framework for the analysis of biological issues using 3D genomics. Significance Statement: This study is a pioneering study in the field of plant nutrient utilization. For the first time, this study discovered that the plant's low‐Pi response was closely linked to the RdDM pathway and chromatin spatial structure, and the low‐Pi response was validated by a mutant of chromatin remodeling gene ZmDDM1a (RdDM pathway gene). In addition, the results of ChIP‐seq and multi‐point GWAS for 2 years revealed the interaction of a large number of candidate genes related to Pi and roots with ZmDDM1A. This paper presents empirical evidence and develops a repeated-game model for manufacturer–retailer relationships and demonstrates that these relationships limit the impact of regulations. Industry practitioners often emphasize the importance of manufacturer–retailer relationships in product distribution. In this paper, I formalize the industry's notion of a relationship with a repeated game framework and study its impact in the heavily regulated hard cider market. I present evidence that retailers and leading manufacturers coordinate with and offer preferential treatment to each other when setting assortments and wholesale prices. Based on this evidence, I develop a repeated game–based model to estimate each pair's coordination, which is linked to the manufacturer's performance at the retailer in the broader beer market. The results show the relationships increase new cider availability by 17.5% and 5.1%, respectively, for Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors, the two leading brewers. The relationship's effect is determined jointly by the degree of assortment distortion and the reduction in double marginalization. Although these relationships could improve welfare, they imply that current regulations in the alcoholic beverage industry fail to generate a level playing field for every manufacturer. Summary: This study aimed to investigate the optimal frozen embryo transfer (FET) strategy for recurrent implantation failure (RIF) patients with three consecutive failed cleaved embryo implantations and no blastocyst preservation. This retrospective analysis was divided into three groups based on the FET strategy: thawed day 3 embryo transfer (D3 FET group); and extended culture of frozen–thawed day 3 embryos to day 5 blastocysts transfer (D3–D5 FET group); thawed blastocyst transfer (D5 FET group). Transplant cycle data were compared between the three groups. In total, 43.8% of vitrified–thawed cleavage embryos developed into blastocysts. Analysis of the three transplantation strategies showed that, compared with the D3 FET group, D3–D5 had a significantly better hCG-positivity rate and live-birth rate (P < 0.05). Pregnancy outcomes in the D3–D5 FET group and D5 FET group were similar regarding hCG-positivity rate, implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live-birth rate. Our findings propose two potentially valuable transfer strategies for patients experiencing repeated implantation failures. The D3–D5 FET approach presents a greater potential for selecting promising embryos in cases without blastocyst preservation; however, this strategy does entail the risk of cycle cancellation. In the recent literature, energy efficiency got the attention of scholars due to its discouraging impact on CO2 emissions, which is considered the most prevalent greenhouse gas that human activities produce. Data reports that China is the leading CO2 emitting country across the globe, and still the environmental degradation is in progress. Thus, the current paper empirically investigates the impact of energy efficiency (ENEF), financial inclusion (FD), GDP, export diversification (EXD), and human capital index (HCI) on the environmental degradation of China over the period from 1988 to 2018. This study uses various time-series tests to empirically investigate the determinant of CO2 emissions, including normality tests, unit root tests, and combined cointegration tests. Besides, the long-run coefficients are analyzed via the fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS), dynamic OLS (DOLS), and the Canonical Cointegrating Regression (CCR) estimators. The empirical findings reveal that all the variables are cointegrated in the long run. However, the coefficient estimate shows that ENEF and HCI significantly promote environmental sustainability. While GDP, FD, and EXD significantly promote environmental degradation by enhancing the CO2 level in the atmosphere. This study recommends practical policy implications based on the empirical findings: energy-efficient products and energy sources could be promoted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
