Abstract

Objetivo: compreender a práxis dos profissionais de saúde do Banco de Leite Humano nas ações de proteção e apoio do aleitamento materno. Métodos: estudo descritivo, exploratório, qualitativo, participaram vinte e cinco profissionais de saúde do BLH do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, através de entrevista semiestruturada, durante os meses julho de 2012 à fevereiro de 2013, e analisadas conforme a análise de conteúdo através da modalidade temática. Resultados: na análise dos dados, os resultados mostraram que os mecanismos da práxis dos profissionais de saúde do banco de leite humano se embasaram na proteção e apoio ao aleitamento materno. Conclusão: isso repercute positivamente para o sucesso da amamentação e contribui para o incentivo da amamentação no país.

Abstract

Objetivo: analisar os valores expressos no discurso das mulheres/gestantes sob a acessibilidade dos exames no acompanhamento pré-natal. Métodos: estudo fenomenológico, descritivo, exploratório com abordagem qualitativa. Foram entrevistadas cinquenta mulheres/gestantes do Programa de pré-natal do município de Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Os dados analisados permitiram formular categorias temáticas articuladas com a Teoria dos Valores. Resultados: os obstáculos vivenciados pelas mulheres na realização dos exames laboratoriais/imagens foram: demora nos resultados, desinformação e escassez de um serviço de qualidade, considerado um valor de utilidade vital para elas. Percebemos a necessidade de mudança no acompanhamento do pré-natal, considerando uma rede de saúde unificada e integrada com serviços de qualidade nos seus diversos níveis de atenção à saúde, promovendo o bem estar, o conforto e a segurança à mulher gestante como valor vital à saúde da mesma. Conclusão: a rede de saúde deve-se estar unificada para uma melhor qualidade aos serviços oferecidos à mulher. Abstract

Objetivos: compreender os indicadores de qualidade da assistência de terapia intravenosa na unidade de terapia intensiva neonatal de um hospital universitário. Métodos: estudo descritivo não experimental, com abordagem quantitativa na UTI Neonatal de um Hospital Universitário, por intermédio de um questionário sistematizado sobre o protocolo da assistência intravenosa: acesso venoso periférico, PICC e cateter umbilical. Foi realizado tratamento estatístico, onde os dados foram agrupados e processados no programa Microsoft Office - Excel e apresentados através de tabelas. O estudo obteve a aprovação do CEP do HUAP/UFF sob Protocolo nº 01660412.9.0000.5243. Resultados: na análise dos dados, os resultados mostraram uma maior necessidade de capacitação técnica e manutenção dos acessos do cateter venosos periférico, PICC, E cateter umbilical. Conclusão: assim, o profissional de saúde deve facilitar e promover a segurança do paciente em prol do seu bem estar e qualidade de vida, evitando os riscos e efeitos adversos.Descritores: Unidades de terapia intensiva, Segurança do paciente, Cuidados de enfermagem, Enfermagem.

Abstract

Aim: To identify the strategies used by nurses regarding the clinical management of breastfeeding; analyze the strategies used by nurses in the conduct of the clinical management of breastfeeding. Method: A descriptive, exploratory, qualitative study which was carried out in public hospitals of the 2nd Metropolitan region of the State of Rio de Janeiro with 107 nurses working at the obstetric center, rooming and ward. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed according to the construction of thematic categories. Results: The clinical management of breastfeeding becomes evident like strategy used by nurses to promote breastfeeding and in management of complications and obstacles, allowing the growth of exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: In their professional practice, nurses contribute to the health and well-being of women, children and family, promoting skilled and specialized care in the clinical management of breastfeeding.
