Traditional transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) using covered plus bare stent can effectively relieve SPH, however, the bare segment is susceptible to obstruction due to PVTT invasion. This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of fully covered stent-TIPS (FCS-TIPS) for treatment of PVTT-related SPH in advanced HCC patients.Patients and Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 25 patients with advanced HCC who underwent FCS-TIPS for PVTT-related severe SPH from June 2018 to January 2024. The evaluated outcomes included overall survival (OS), technical success rate, reduction in portal venous pressure gradient (PPG), stent patency rate, SPH control rate, liver function and complications.Results: The technical success rate was 100% without perioperative deaths or severe procedure-related adverse events. The average PPG decreased by 13.4± 4.6 mmHg. The overall symptom control rate of SPH was 96.0%. Variceal bleeding, ascites/hydrothorax, and enteropathy control rates were 100%, 95.0%, and 100%, respectively. Liver function showed mild improvement one month after TIPS. One patient (4.0%) experienced overt hepatic encephalopathy (OHE) and three (12.0%) patients developed shunt dysfunction during the follow-up period. None of the patients experienced shunt-induced extrahepatic metastasis. The median OS was 6.0 months and the cumulative survival rates at 3, 6, 12 months were 80.0%, 52.0% and 21.3%.Conclusion: FCS-TIPS is safe and effective for treating PVTT-related severe SPH and can serve as a bridging therapy for advanced HCC.Keywords: fully covered stent, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, hepatocellular carcinoma, portal vein tumor thrombus, symptomatic portal hypertension

It can induce various comorbidities that can adversely influence the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this systematic review is to assess the effect and safety of fire needling acupuncture on acute HZ.Methods: Three English databases (PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials) and four Chinese Databases (China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang database, Chongqing VIP database, and China Biology Medicine database) will be searched from their inceptions to July 2022. Randomized controlled trials investigating fire needling acupuncture therapy for acute HZ will be included, regardless of publication status. Two reviewers will independently conduct the study screening, data extraction, and research quality assessments. The primary outcome measures are the Pain Visual Analogue Scale and the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia. Secondary outcomes measures are the evaluation of skin lesions, time to resolution of pain, tolerance evaluation, total effective rate, adverse events and changes in inflammatory and immune suppression markers in peripheral plasma. All included studies will be assessed for methodological quality via the Cochrane Collaboration’s bias risk assessment tool. Meta-analyses will be undertaken using Review Manager V.5.3 software. The findings will be reported as the risk ratio of the binary data and the mean difference (MD) or standardized MD of the continuous data. Subgroup analyses and sensitivity analyses will be conducted where appropriate. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation will be used to assess evidence certainty.Results: From the study, we will ascertain the effects and safety of fire needling acupuncture on acute HZ.Conclusion: This study will validate the effects and safety of fire needling acupuncture in the management of acute HZ, generating new evidence to guide acupuncture interventions for acute HZ in the future.Registration Number: PROSPERO CRD42020199047.Keywords: fire needling acupuncture, herpes zoster, postherpetic neuralgia, randomized controlled trials, systematic review

In previous studies, fire needling acupuncture has been shown to affect KOA favorably. However, the mechanism of fire needling acupuncture on macrophage polarization is not well-defined. Thus, this study was conducted to determine that fire needling acupuncture exerts a therapeutic role in KOA by modulating macrophage polarization.Methods: Thirty mice were allocated at random into three groups of ten. The groups were labeled as “control”, “model”, and “fire needling acupuncture”. Each group consisted of ten mice. From the second day of intra-articular injection MIA, the right “xiyan” (EX-LE5), “dubi” (ST35), “liangqiu” (ST34), and “xuehai” (SP10) acupoints were manipulated once every other day for two weeks in the fire needling acupuncture group. Mechanical withdrawal threshold and weight distribution were evaluated for behavioral testing in each group. The synovial morphology was monitored by HE staining. Pathological morphology was observed by HE staining, Saf-O staining, and toluidine blue staining. The polarization of macrophages in synovial tissue was detected using immunofluorescence (F4/80, CD86, and CD206).Results: Fire needling acupuncture increased the percentage weight-bearing difference and the mechanical withdrawal threshold, and improved synovial inflammation and cartilage damage in MIA-induced KOA mice. F4/80 and CD86 expression were downregulated by fire needling acupuncture, but CD206 was increased.Conclusion: Fire needling acupuncture decreases pain behaviors in KOA mice and improves synovial membrane injury and pathological cartilage damage. Suspended ascites-derived spheroids may contribute to ovarian cancer metastasis. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are also associated with ovarian cancer metastasis. Here, we aimed to investigate the differentially expressed miRNAs (DE-miRNAs) in ascites-derived spheroids compared with primary tumour tissues, which may regulate ovarian cancer metastasis.Methods: The DE-miRNAs between ovarian cancer primary tumour tissues and ascites-derived spheroids were identified by GEO2R screening in samples from 3 high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) patients of dataset GSE65819. We used MiRTarBase, TargetScanHuman7.2 and STRING to predict the target hub genes of DE-miRNAs and DAVID to perform functional analysis of hub genes. ALGGEN PROMO and TransmiR v2.0 were used to predict transcription factors (TFs) that potentially regulate DE-miRNAs expression. The observed differences in DE-miRNAs expression were validated with samples from 12 HGSOC patients and 2 ovarian cancer cell lines using PCR. The functions of DE-miRNAs on ovarian cancer progression were verified by invasion, adherent, and angiogenesis assays.Results: Through bioinformatics screening and experimental validation, miR-199a-3p, miR-199b-3p, miR-199a-5p, miR-126-3p and miR-145-5p were identified as being significantly downregulated in ascites-derived spheroids compared with primary tumour tissues. In addition, TFAP2A was identified as a potentially common upstream TF regulating the expression of the above mentioned DE-miRNAs. The overexpression of miR-199a-3p, miR-199b-3p, miR-199a-5p lead to invasion inhibition, and the overexpression of miR-126-3p, miR-145-5p, miR-199a-5p and miR-199b-3p lead to adhesion inhibition of suspended ovarian cancer cells. High-expressed miR-126-3p, miR-199a-3p, miR-199a-5p and miR-199b-3p contributed to apoptosis of suspended ovarian cancer cells.Conclusion: The downregulated expression of miR-199a-3p, miR-199b-3p, miR-199a-5p, miR-126-3p and miR-145-5p in ascites-derived spheroids plays a key role in promoting ovarian cancer progression, which may represent novel molecules for targeted therapy for ovarian cancer.Keywords: ovarian cancer, metastasis, ascites-derived spheroids, primary tumour tissue, microRNAs

Objective To explore the mediating role of personality traits and mental resilience in the relationship between competence and job performance among junior officers. Methods Competency Inventory, 25-Item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-25), short version of the Big Five Personality Scale [Neuroticism Extraversion Openness Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI)], and Chinese Perceived Stress Scale (CPSS) were used as assessment tools to survey 586 junior officers selected by convenience sampling. Results ① For junior officers, their competence was positively and moderately correlated with job performance, openness personality, extroversion personality, agreeableness personality, responsibility personality, and total score and score for each dimension of psychological resilience (P < 0.01), and negatively and moderately correlated with neuroticism personality (P < 0.01). ② Significantly mediating role was observed in personality and mental resilience for competence and job performance in junior officers, with an indirect effect of 20.68% for personality and 33.18% for mental resilience. Conclusion Personality and mental resilience mediate significantly between competence and job performance in junior officers. Our findings provide a theoretical basis for the action mechanism of competence in job performance for junior officers.

Objective To construct a group psychological training for junior officers based on competency model and explore its intervention effect on competency and mental health of junior officers. Methods Delphi method was used to construct a group psychological training program for junior officers based on competency model. A total of 63 junior officers were subjected with convenience sampling during October and November 2023. According to the principle of randomized controlled experimental design, the participants were divided into experimental group (n=30) and control group (n=33). The experimental group was given our group psychological training program for totally 8 sessions, 90~120 min per session, 2 sessions per week, while the control group received no such training. Competency scale, 12-item general health questionnaire (GHQ-12), Chinese perceived stress scale (CPSS), and Neuroticism Extraversion Openness Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) were used to assess the 2 groups before and at the end of intervention. Results ① The results of the 2 rounds of expert consultation showed that the total recovery rate was 100%, the expert authority coefficient was 0.87, the Kendall's coordination coefficients (ω) of the 2 rounds of expert consultation were 0.102 (P < 0.001) and 0.410 (P < 0.001), respectively, with a coefficients of variation of < 0.3, indicating reliable expert consultation. ② The results of post-intervention time main effect indicated that the total score of competence (P < 0.001), extroversion score (P < 0.05) and responsibility score (P < 0.01) were significantly higher, but the total score of GHQ-12 was obviously lower in the experimental group than the control group (P < 0.001). ③ The results of post-intervention group main effects revealed that the extraversion score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.01). ④ The results of the post-intervention time × group interaction displayed that the experimental group had notably higher total competency score (P < 0.01), job performance score (P < 0.05), extraversion score (P < 0.05), agreeableness score (P < 0.001) and responsibility score (P < 0.01), but lower total GHQ-12 score (P < 0.01) than the control group. Conclusion Competency-based modeling group psychological training for junior officers can significantly enhance the competency, strengthen the extroversion, agreeableness and responsibility in personality traits, and thus improve job performance for them. Keratoconus is a progressive blinding eye disease that characterized by corneal thinning and protrusion, which accompanied with irregular astigmatism and impaired visual acuity.The irregular astigmatism of early keratoconus can be corrected by spectacles. For the irregular astigmatism of moderate to severe keratoconus, spectacles are no longer suitable, and contact lenses are the best choice for patients to restore vision. There are various types of contact lenses, making the selection very difficult. In addition, trying on lenses for a long time will increase the discomfort and overall feeling of patients, and greatly increase the workload of doctors. Thus, the article aims to summarize and discuss the classification of contact lenses, the application of contact lenses in different types of keratoconus, the complications of contact lens, and the current status and prospect of contact lenses, with a view to understanding the management and clinical application of contact lenses in keratoconus patients and to further improving the application value of contact lenses in keratoconus.

Objective To investigate the intervention effect of group psychological training for cadets on individual wellbeing literacy, cognitive reassessment, mental toughness, and subjective well-being based on wellbeing literacy theory. Methods A total of 116 undergraduate cadets were subjected from a military university with whole-group sampling, and according to their mock platoons of cadet corps, they were divided into experimental group (n=58, 7 times of group psychological training, for 90~100 min each time, twice a week) and control group (n=58, no such training). Wellbeing Literacy 6 item scale (Well-Lit 6), General Well-being Schedule (GWBS), Cognitive Rating Scale of the Chinese version of the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), and Connor-Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC-10) were used to assess the 2 groups of participants before (T1), immediately after (T2), and 1 month after (T3) the training, respectively. Results There were no statistical differences in demographic information and each psychological index between the 2 groups before training (P>0.05). Significant grouping×time interaction effects were observed in total wellbeing literacy score (P < 0.05), cognitive reassessment score (P < 0.001), psychological resilience score (P < 0.001), and total subjective well-being score (P < 0.001). Conclusion Group psychological training for military cadets based on wellbeing literacy theory can enhance the wellbeing literacy of military cadets, improve their cognitive reassessment strategies, elevate their psychological resilience, enhance their subjective well-being, and beneficially improve their mental health. PurposeThe aim of this study was to explore a radiomics-clinical model for predicting the response to initial superselective arterial embolization (SAE) in renal angiomyolipoma (RAML).Materials and methodsA total of 78 patients with RAML were retrospectively enrolled. Clinical data were recorded and evaluated. Radiomic features were extracted from preoperative contrast-enhanced CT (CECT). Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) and intra- and inter-class correlation coefficients (ICCs) were used in feature selection. Logistic regression analysis was performed to develop the radiomics, clinical, and combined models where the fivefold cross-validation method was used. The predictive performance and calibration were evaluated by the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and calibration curve. Decision curve analysis (DCA) was used to measure clinical usefulness.ResultsThe tumor shrinkage rate was 29.7% in total, and both fat and angiomyogenic components were significantly reduced. In the radiomics model, 12 significant features were selected. In the clinical model, maximum diameter (p = 0.001), angiomyogenic tissue ratio (p = 0.032), aneurysms (p = 0.048), and post-SAE time (p = 0.002) were significantly associated with greater volume reduction after SAE. Because of the severe linear dependence between radiomics signature and some clinical parameters, the combined model eventually included Rad-score, aneurysm, and post-SAE time. The radiomics-clinical model showed better discrimination (mean AUC = 0.83) than the radiomics model (mean AUC = 0.60) and the clinical model (mean AUC = 0.82). Calibration curve and DCA showed the goodness of fit and clinical usefulness of the radiomics-clinical model.ConclusionsThe radiomics-clinical model incorporating radiomics features and clinical parameters can potentially predict the positive response to initial SAE in RAML and provide support for clinical treatment decisions.

【Objective】 Jujube (Chinese date) is an important cash crop in southern Xinjiang but its production relies on irrigation and fertilization due to the limited rainfall in this region. This paper aims to investigate the combined effect of irrigation and fertilization on yield and quality of jujube fruits in attempts to find an optimal irrigation-fertilization combination for jujube production in this region. 【Method】 The field experiment was conducted in a 10-year-old orchard in the 224 Regiment of Kunyu City; it is a typical self-pressurized irrigation area in southern Xinjiang. The experiment had three irrigation treatments: irrigating 540 mm (W1), 630 mm (W2) and 720 mm (W2) of water. Each treatment had three fertilizations: 562.5 kg/hm2 (F1), 810 kg/hm2 (F2) and 1 080 kg/hm2 (F3). The control was fertigation used by local growers: irrigating 770 mm of water and applying 1 125 kg/hm2 of nitrogen fertilizer (CK). Objective To construct an early diagnosis model of acute pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) based on chest pain center database. Methods According to the database of Chest Pain Center of Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University, the clinical data of patients who visited the emergency department from January to December 2020 were retrospectively collected, and the patients were divided into PTE group and non-PTE chest pain group according to whether diagnosed PTE. The clinically relevant indicators of the two groups were compared, and the study indicators with statistical differences between the two groups were included in the multivariate logistic regression analysis, and a nomogram model for the early diagnosis of PTE was established. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of the model was plotted to assess the predictive accuracy, and the model was tested for goodness of fit using the Hosmer-Lemeshow test. An additional 654 patients presenting with chest pain between January 2021 and March 2021 were collected to externally validate the model. Results A total of 2 738 patients were included for the construction of the model, of whom 117 (4.27%) had confirmed PTE. On multivariate analysis, a history of surgical trauma, ＞ 3 d of immobilization / bed rest on the lower extremities, with dyspnea, syncope, low pulse oxygen staturation (SpO2) at admission, high D-dimer, right deviation of electrocardiographic axis, and complete right bundle branch block were independent factors for the diagnosis of PTE in patients with chest pain (P＜0.05) . ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve was 0.985 (95%CI: 0.969-0.999) in internal validation data and 0.924 (95%CI: 0.872-0.977) in external validation data, showing that the model had a good discrimination. The goodness of fit test was performed using Hosmer-Lemeshow, and validated internally (χ2=14.077, P=0.080) and external validation (χ2=615.690, P=0.986) both indicating a good fit of the model. Conclusion This study constructed a nomogram model for the diagnosis of PTE in patients with acute chest pain, and this model could effectively predict the risk probability of PTE in patients with acute chest pain.

Multiple flow erosion-corrosion under high pressure environment is a key problem for safe operation of oil gas gathering and transporting pipelines. For the high pressure erosion-corrosion failure problem of the gathering and transporting pipeline in CO2 environment, the high pressure erosion-corrosion apparatuses of gathering and transportation pipeline in CO2 environment were elaborated, mainly including high pressure jet impingement system, high pressure rotor rotating system and high pressure loop test system. The mechanism of high pressure erosion-corrosion was reviewed, and it was pointed out that erosion-corrosion was controlled by electrochemical corrosion and erosion wear. Besides, the effects of factors such as flow rate, velocity of solid particles, size of solid particles, temperature, pH value, and CO2 partial pressure on high pressure erosion-corrosion were summarized. Finally, the development direction of high pressure erosion-corrosion study of the gathering and transporting pipeline in CO2 environment were prospected.

English teaching materials serve as a critical vehicle for instruction, with well-designed materials fostering positive learning habits and interests among students. This study employs an ecological philosophy approach and multimodal discourse analysis to examine the modal shifts in college English textbooks. It utilizes the BiFPN network model to capture image features within these materials. Furthermore, the TF-IDF method extracts key terms from the textbook text, while the integration of a CNN-GRU model facilitates the classification of these terms. Additionally, this research introduces relevant computational formulas from text readability theory to evaluate the difficulty levels of these textbooks. The analysis focuses on the “New Vision College English Textbook” series, volumes Compulsory 1 through Compulsory 4. It explores the semantic relationships between text and graphics, chapter-specific reading challenges, and overall text readability indices. Findings indicate that the average proportion of graphic-text equality relations stands at 58.30%, with the highest occurrence of images depicting detailed relationships totaling 217. The Grade Level index for Compulsory 4 reaches 1.61, signifying a high complexity, whereas the Flesch Reading Ease (FRE) score for Compulsory 1 peaks at 75.42, suggesting easier comprehension. In contrast, Compulsory 2 and Compulsory 4 exhibit lower readability scores. Through multimodal discourse analysis, the study delineates the varying difficulty levels across college English textbooks, advocating for a graded approach to textbook development that aligns with students’ evolving competencies. This strategy is poised to significantly boost students’ engagement and facilitate more effective learning.

The accurate assessment of equipment health is the basis for the development of its equipment combat training and maintenance support countermeasures. In view of the problem that the health status of traditional equipment is difficult to scientifically assess, a comprehensive consideration of equipment life, use and maintenance, and the health status of equipment and its subsystems are proposed. Based on the equipment health evaluation model, combined with the characteristics of multi-classification of equipment health and unbalanced sample data, seven classification algorithms and ten sample balance methods are used to evaluate equipment health. Experiments show that the comprehensive use of Near-Miss, SMOTEENN, SMOTE Tomek sampling method and DT, GBDT, RF classification algorithms can effectively improve the indicators of equipment health classification, and provide an effective method for reasonable evaluation of equipment health status.

Sinters in the rift valleys of southern Tibet, including silica sinter and travertine deposits, are the products of hydrothermal activity under regional tectonic movement. Their formation age is significant for studying hydrothermal activity history in this region. Electron spin resonance (ESR) dating is a practical dating method for determining the age of silica sinter and travertine deposits. However, silica sinter's ESR signals vary due to the complex composition. Meanwhile, these ESR signals are mixed, superimposed, and interfere with each other, affecting the ESR signal's measurement. Furthermore, ESR dating has been applied less in travertine samples in southern Tibet, which is not conducive to a comprehensive understanding of the hydrothermal activity history in southern Tibet. Studying the applicability of ESR dating of southern Tibetan silica sinter and travertine deposits helps obtain accurate ESR ages. It lays the chronologic foundation for researching tectonic activities in these rift valleys. This research applied ESR dating to the silica sinter and travertine deposits collected separately from the Targejia thermal field area and the Xiakangjian hot spring area, located in the Ngri-Xigaze area in southern Tibet. We performed ESR dating tests, including how to choose ESR signals, the effect of additional doses, and the thermal stability of ESR signals in travertine. Based on these tests, relatively accurate, reliable ESR ages of silica sinter and travertine were obtained. The results show that: According to the ESR dating results, the silica sinter samples collected from the fourth and third terrace of the Targejia geothermal field were formed at 177±20 and 81±16 ka, respectively, and the travertine deposits collected from the floodplain and first terrace of the Xiakangjian hot spring were formed at 106±32 ka and 264±26 ka, respectively. In terms of irradiation dose, sinter samples collected from southern Tibet respond well to irradiation dose in the range of 0~7680 Gy; In terms of temperature, silica sinter samples are less affected by closure temperature, and the thermal behavior of the ESR signal at g=2.0034 of travertine in southern Tibet is stable in the range of 20 ℃~250 ℃ that is suitable for ESR dating. Regarding mineral structure, The travertine in southern Tibet has better mineral purity and crystallinity; thus, the ESR age results are relatively accurate.

ObjectiveTo explore the mediating effect of rumination on the relationship between insomnia and suicidal ideation in adolescents with depressive disorder， so as to provide guidance for the preventions of suicidal ideation.MethodsA total of 302 adolescents with major depressive disorder in Department of Psychosomatic Medicine of Deyang People's Hospital from January to December 2020 and met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders， fifth edition （DSM-5） clinical significance criterion for depressive disorder were enrolled. All individuals were assessed using Insomnia Severity Index （ISI）， Ruminative Response Scale （RRS） and Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation （PANSI）. Objective To screen the pathogenic genes in the patients with left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC) and validate their functions in order to provide references for pathogenesis, genetic counseling and early intervention of the disease. Methods Blood samples from 3 LVNC families attending the outpatient clinic of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were collected for whole-exome sequencing (WES) to obtain the possible pathogenic genes screened in all 3 families. Induced pluripotent stem cells-cardiomyocytes (IPSCs-CMs) were derived and constructed separately from LVNC patients and normal individuals. The cells were collected at different time points and validated by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) to observe the expression profiles of above obtained genes during induction and differentiation. Results WES screened 14 possible pathogenic genes commonly expressed in the 3 LVNC families. qPCR results suggested that the expression of these genes changed dynamically at different time points (0, 10, 20 and 30 d), and their expression differed significantly from the normal and LVNC patient groups. Conclusion There were 14 common possible pathogenic genes screened by WES in the 3 LVNC families, and they are involved in affecting cytoskeleton, cell polarity, calcium and potassium ion regulation and energy metabolism.

Demand response is an important way to balance the power supply and demand， and to wake up user-side resources. In view of data trust， privacy protection， transaction efficiency and other issues of current demand response business， a solution based on smart contract on blockchain is proposed. First， according to the invited demand response mechanism， the pain points and difficulties of the current business mechanism are analyzed. Then， the smart contract on blockchain is introduced to construct the technical framework of the invited demand response framework based on smart contract， to design the operation mechanism and the related smart contract functions.， and to analyze the technical advantages of the smart contract on blockchain applied in the demand response business. Finally， the deficiencies of this mechanism are discussed， and the future development direction of demand response business based on blockchain technology is discussed concerning demand response service increase， transaction system improvement， user-side interaction enhancement， and timeliness advancement.

ObjectiveTo investigate a local outbreak of dengue fever in 2019 in a city village in Yong'an City， determine its characteristics， and evaluate the effect of countermeasures.MethodsEpidemic characteristics of the outbreak were analyzed by descriptive analysis， and the effect of countermeasures was evaluated using the number of new cases and the change in mosquito vector density.ResultsThe density of mosquito vectors in the core areas of the epidemic areas was gradually reduced by implementing multiple countermeasures. The Braitu index decreased below the threshold of dengue fever transmission. After the longest incubation period of the last case， there was no further case of dengue fever. The outbreak ended on 28th November.ConclusionThis is a local outbreak of dengue fever. Comprehensive measures should be implemented to control the epidemic by principally eliminating adult mosquitoes and clearing mosquito breeding grounds， be supplemented by isolation and treatment of cases.

PATJ (PALS1-associated tight junction) is the core component in the CRB complex and has been highly conserved throughout evolution. PATJ is crucial to several important events in organisms’ survival, including embryonic development, cell polarity, and barrier establishment. A recent study shows that PATJ plays an important role in functional outcomes of stroke. In this article, we elaborate on the biological structure and physiological functions of PATJ and explore the underlying mechanisms of PATJ genetic polymorphism that are associated with poor functional outcomes in ischemic stroke.Keywords: PATJ, cell polarity, stroke

Objective To investigate the changes and mechanism of the cytoskeleton and polarity in cardiomyocyte-like cells derived from patients with left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC). Methods After induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) were isolated from LVNC patients and normal individuals, respectively, the obtained cells were induced to differentiate into cardiomyocyte-like cells. Then transcriptome sequencing was performed. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was employed to observe the changes of the myocardial cytoskeleton. Immunofluorescence assay was used to detect the location and expression of cytoskeleton-associated proteins, fibrous actin (F-actin), tubulin dimer (ɑ/β-tublin), and polar protein Par6 and vinculin. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of Rho/Rock pathway key protein, Ras homolog gene family member A (RhoA). Results Both the obtained iPSCs derived from LVNC patients and normal persons positively expressed the surface molecular markers of embryonic stem cells, Oct4, Sox2, SSEA4, and TRA1-81, and could be induced into cardiomyocyte-like clusters with autonomous pulsating rhythm. Immunofluorescence assay indicated that the cardiomyocyte-like cells expressed the surface markers of cardiomyocytes, cTnT and ɑ-actinin. The results of transcriptome sequencing showed that there were multiple differential genes related closely to microtubules between the 2 kinds of cardiomyocyte-like cells. Compared with the cells derived from the normal individuals, there was a disordered arrangement of the cytoskeleton with TEM, significantly decreased expression levels of ɑ/β-tublin (n=62, 226.4±65.1, P < 0.01, Z=-3.451), F-actin (n=62, (236.4±33.2), P < 0.001), and vinculin (n=57, 137.2±35.9), P < 0.001, Z=-3.852). and it was unevenly distributed and obviously concentrated in the cell membrane, and obviously up-regulation of Par6 (n=64, -132.7±43.5, P < 0.01, Z=-3.148) with the aid of immunofluorescence assay. Western blotting demonstrated that the expression of RhoA was significantly increased in the cells derived from the patient group (P < 0.01). Conclusion The cytoskeleton and polarity of cardiomyocyte-like cells derived from LVNC patients are indeed abnormal.

Abstract Background Anxiety disorder is the most prevalent mental disorder among children and adolescents, causing significant psychosocial problems and physical health conditions. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment for anxiety disorder in children and adolescents. And parent-only CBT is an alternative treatment for childhood anxiety disorder, which includes psychologists and parents rather than children in the treatment. As a new type of CBT, parent-only CBT has some advantages. However, it remains unclear whether parent-only CBT interventions are effective for treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorder. Methods In this study, we evaluated the efficacy (the mean change scores of the anxiety rating scale from baseline to post-treatment, standardized mean difference SMD) and acceptability (the proportion of patients in the treatment group who withdrew from treatment early for any reason, risk ratios RRs) of parent-only cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children and adolescents with anxiety disorder. We searched electronic databases, including PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science, ProQuest, and PsycINFO from inception to June 2019. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing parent-only CBT either with waitlist (WL), or CBT with parents in children and adolescents with anxiety disorder. Results Finally, six RCTs with 407 participants were included in the meta-analyses. In terms of efficacy, pooled analyses indicated that parent-only CBT was significantly more effective than WL for reducing anxiety symptoms with SMD of − 0.72 (95% CI − 1.41 to − 0.03, p = 0.04), and more remission rate with RR of 4.33 (37.96% vs. 6.85, 95% CI 1.82 to 10.27, p = 0.0009) at post-treatment. And our analyses showed no evidence that parent-only CBT had significantly greater efficacy than CBT with parents with SMD of 0.21 (95% CI − 0.09 to 0.50, p = 0.17). Acceptability in the parent-only CBT group was not significantly different to the WL group with RR of 0.92 (95% CI 0.52 to 1.62, p = 0.77), and was significantly worse than in the CBT with parents group with RR of 1.93 (95% CI 1.05 to 3.57, p = 0.03). Conclusions Current evidence indicates that parent-only CBT can be an alternative and acceptable intervention for treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorder.

Objective To obtain induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS) and cardiac myocyte-like cells (CMs) from a patient with noncompaction of ventricular myocardium (NVM). Methods Urine cells from a 16-year-old female patient with NVM and a 24-year-old healthy male volunteer were infected with Sendai virus to obtain iPS cells, which were further induced to differentiate into iPS-CMs. Both the iPS cells and iPS-CMs were identified by immunofluorescence staining, alkaline phosphatase activity, karyotype analysis, embryoid body (EBs) formation and cell patch-clamp experiment. Whole-exome sequencing of the blood sample, iPS cells and iPS-CMs from the NVM patient was performed for genetic comparison to identify gene mutations potentially related with NVM. Results We successfully obtained urine cells, iPS cells and iPS-CMs from the NVM patient and the healthy volunteer. Immunofluorescence assay showed that the iPS cells expressed pluripotent stem cell markers Oct4, Sox2, Ssea4 and TRA-1-81. iPS cells exhibited a high alkaline phosphatase activity with a normal karyotype, and could be induced to differentiate into 3 germ layers in vitro. Immunocytochemical staining revealed that iPS-CMs expressed cardiac myocyte-specific markers TNNT2 and α-actinin. Patch-clamp experiment demonstrated the presence of functional cardiac-specific voltage-gated Na+ currents and action potentials in the iPS-CMs. Whole-exome sequencing showed similar genetic profiles between the blood samples, iPS cells and iPS-CMs of the NVM patient, and several gene mutations were found to have potential associations with NVM. Conclusion We successfully obtain iPS cells and iPS-CMs from the NVM patient, and these cells provide useful cell models for the study of NVM using iPS technology.

Over the last two decades it has developed dramatically due to the constant support of the countries’ leaders and resultedin a large number of agreements in scientific, technical, educational and cultural spheres. The partnership involves the joint research programs, training programs, scientific and educational activities, mutual support of academic mobility of teachers and students, international conferences, workshops, contests of innovative projects and students’ festivals. The research methodology combines general scientific methods of logicalcognition, analysis and synthesis, and statistic methods of selection, combination, comparison and generalization. The paper demonstrates the dynamics of Chinese students graduated in Russia from 1950 to 2013 and Russian students graduated in China in the last thirteen years, as well as therelated prognoses for 2020.The partnership between Russia and China in educational sphere has a strategic importance for economic stability and steady development of both countries in the nearest and distant future, given the globalization processes, complicated international situation, etc. However, there still remains a considerable potential for the reciprocal friendly cooperation in educational and cultural spheres. The author emphasizes a need for further exploration and development of the intellectual exchange mechanisms and effectiveness of the process.

Symmetry-breaking charge transfer reaction of 9,9’-bianthracene is driven exclusively by the rotational fluctuation of solvents, not including the inertial component in the solvation dynamics. Torsional motion and bond shortening during the reaction were observed.
