Passenger comfort has become an important requirement for manufactures to achieve because of the direct effect on its seals rate the driver has been concentrate on this study to decrease the vibration that reach on him that cause unclear of his vision when driving and to achieve this goal a tow – dimensional model has been chosen to represent suspension system of halve truck vehicle for fore degree of freedom (4DOF) and by add one degree of driver seat . In this study and to obtain accurate result we study the Non – Linear factors that act on the suspension system performance Taking into account one of the most important sources of nonlinearity, which is the non-linear behavior of the damper and the second source is the extended contact of the tire . By considering the body of the vehicle is rigid The equations of the movement were derived using Newton's second law and excitement the car by using two types of obstacles , the first is halve sine wave and the second is trapezoidal as an expression of the road irregularity that the car is exposed through traveling and to obtain the results a Fortran 90 computer program was created for the purpose of solving mathematical equations. After running the program we obtain the results represented by displacement , velocity and the normal acceleration in the center of gravity of cars body . The results were compared with the results of newly published research adopted The nonlinear behavior of the suspension systems and it was found that is approaches by acceptable degree and to find out the extent of improvement in the results when considering the nonlinear factors we compare with the linear symbol of same vehicle and by use same excitation It was found that the adoption of nonlinear factors leads to improved results . Then we carried out to ride comfort To know what results we have achieved when adopting the nonlinear factors Through the adoption comfort criteria the first was the amount of maximum acceleration of the driver's seat and the second is the amount of Absorbed Power then its found that depending the Non – Linear factors give more flexibility to determining the ride seat connect with respect to center of gravity of car body with determination the optimum place to connect it that leads to obtain minimum percentage of vibration .

This study included the process of adsorption of some inorganicelements known as environmental risk (Cd, Cr, Cb, Pb) of its watersolutions on the surface of activated charcool to ceratonia siliqua . Thepercentage of adsorption and isothermal adsorption curves werecalculated according to equation, as well as the effect of temperature , pHand particle size of adsorbent on the adsorption of these elements. Thestudy included the comparative study of the adsorption with naturalceratonia siliqua powder. The results showed an optimum conditions atPH=5 and the partical size of adsorbent was 500 μm, while thepercentage of adsorption ranged from 81% to 93%

Three samples of high ordered AAO template were prepared via a two-step anodization procedure, the pore size was modified during the pore-widening process to tune the pore diameter to 50, 70, and 90 nm. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was adopted to gauge the pore diameter and the cell unit of the periodical hexagonal structure of the prepared AAO templates. In addition, the UV-vis spectrometer shows the variation of the absorbance spectrum for each pore size of the prepared AAO templates. To prove that the pore diameter (PD) and the intermediate layer (IL) could enhance the absorbance of the materials, a Lumerical FDTD solution was used by involving the exact experimental conditions of the AAO template. The resulting data show that a specific pore diameter with a specific intermediate layer can improve the absorbance spectrum of the materials. Thus, the results could serve the applications related to solar energy conversion (antireflective and photocatalyst) and photonics.

Developed countries are facing many challenges to convert large areas of existing services to electronic modes, reflecting the current nature of workflow and the equipment utilized for achieving such services. For instance, electricity bill collection still tend to be based on traditional approaches (paper-based and relying on human interaction) making them comparatively time-consuming and prone to human error. This research aims to recognize numbers in mechanical electricity meters and convert them to digital figures utilizing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in Matlab. The research utilized the location of red region in color electricity meters image to determine the crop region that contain the meters numbers, then extracts this numbers region and convert it into binary image and extract the numbers as a text using OCR technique. A camera for the Iphone 6 (8-megapixel) is used to take a snapshot of the meter screen. The red box in the meter is used to calculate the window coordinates (vertical and horizontal length) that contain the numbers in the original image. The results show a high level of accuracy, reaching 100% due to the effort done on pre-processing the digital images before feeding the part that contains the numbers into the OCR engine. Compared to the maximum accuracy obtained in other previous research of less than 100% in most of related works, the suggested method provide better approach to obtain the optimum results . Despite the strong results, some challenges still need to be investigated further to find the best solutions, for example the issue of scratched or unclear meter screen, also the meter type 2 (the type that do not have the red box)

Recently, graphene has been adopted to replace other expansive materials in various devices that perform numerous functionalities in many industrial fields. Meanwhile, researchers are still investigating the amazing properties of graphene. Herein, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) has been successfully exfoliated directly using a graphite rod in a modified electrolyte including a table salt as a co-electrolyte. The structure of graphene obtained by using exfoliation methods shows a low ratio of O/C and confirms the high crystallinity of rGO. The thickness of rGO was adjusted during the drying of the drops of rGO solution and obtained about an 8-80 nm rGO thick. The increased O/C ratio and crystallinity enhancement could be attributed to the quantum confinement effect. Further investigations to estimate the decay constant of the optical band gap during the thinning of the rGO layers show that the optical band gap was associated with thicknesses of the rGO at a decay constant of 0.3367±0.00205. These results would be crucial in several optical applications that depend on the thicknesses and the band gap.

The world is evolving toward extending the life of commodities and decreasing waste by recycling. The purpose of this study is to improve resistance of epoxy against the corrosive conditions by reinforcing it with available chemically resistant and low cost materials. Selection of Glass wastes to reinforce epoxy with 50% by weight. Preparation of four sets of samples for this purpose, two sets of samples make and cure at room temperature, while the others cure at 50°C for two hours. Each set make up of both reinforced and unreinforced epoxy. Immersion of these samples in different environment (Water, NaOH, HCl, Benzene and Kerosene) to find out the resistance of the epoxy after reinforcing. After immersion for six months, it is found that the composite seems more resistance compared to matrix material alone. Composites reinforced by glass particles show an increase in mechanical properties when compared to elegant epoxy resin. Density, Vickers hardness and Modulus of elasticity values increased by (31%, 67% and 62%) respectively for composite at room temperature. Improvement of the resistance after the post curing of unreinforced and reinforced epoxy. The solutions that have highest effect for unreinforced samples at room temperature are (HCl and Water). This indicates that epoxy acquire resistance after reinforcing with glass waste which enables it to be utilize in different applications.

Nowadays, geopolymer plays a significant role in developing eco-friendly materials to avoid the pollution caused by the Portland cement industry. Geopolymer is a developed industrial by-product-based alternative concrete binder. The aim of this study to evaluate the effect of different proportions of Fly Ash (FA) and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) on the strength properties of geopolymer mortar. In this study, GGBFS was added as 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% of the total binder with NaOH concentrations 12 M and sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide ratio 2.5. The compressive strength was investigated experimentally in this study. The combination of FA and GGBFS were tested in a total of eleven geopolymer mix mortars, and the results show that combining the above constituents at 70℃ improves the compressive strength of geopolymer mortar. The result show that the mixture with 100% GGBFS replacement have maximum compressive strength (78.25 MPa) at 7-days age.

Increasing data have shown the significance of various miRNAs in malignancy. In this regard, parallel to its biological role in normal tissues, miRNA-128 (miR-128) has been found to play an essential immunomodulatory function in the process of cancer initiation and development. The occurrence of the aberrant expression of miR-128 in tumors and the unique properties of miRNAs raise the prospect of their use as biomarkers and the next generation of molecular anticancer therapies. The function of miR-128 in malignancies such as breast, prostate, colorectal, gastric, pancreatic, esophageal, cervical, ovarian and bladder cancers and hepatocellular carcinoma is discussed in this review. Finally, the effect of exosomal miR-128 on cancer resistance to therapeutics and cancer immunotherapy in certain malignancies is highlighted.

An eco-friendly and easy ultrasound-assisted liquid phase microextraction approach using deep eutectic solvent (UA-DES-LPME) was established to preconcentrate and separate trace amount of nickel (Ni(II)) in various environmental samples before flame atomic absorption spectrometric estimation. In this method, Ni(II) was complexed with 2-(benzothiazolyl azo) orcinol reagent. The impacts various parameters on the microextarction of Ni(II) was investigated. The calibration graph is linear in the range of 1–500 µg L−1 and limits of detection and quantification were determined as 0.27 and 0.90 μg L−1, respectively. The RSD% and preconcentration factor were 2.30% and 100, respectively. The analysis of certified reference materials demonstrated the validity of the established procedure. The microextraction method provided here simple, rapid, cheap, green and was effectively used to determine nickel levels in a variety of environmental samples with recoveries ranged of 95.0–98.54%.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has become a hot area of research in recent years due to the significant advancements in the semiconductor industry, wireless communication technologies, and the realization of its ability in numerous applications such as smart homes, health care, control systems, and military. Furthermore, IoT devices inefficient security has led to an increase cybersecurity risks such as IoT botnets, which have become a serious threat. To counter this threat there is a need to develop a model for detecting IoT botnets. This paper's contribution is to formulate the IoT botnet detection problem and introduce multiple linear regression (MLR) for modelling IoT botnet features with discriminating capability and alleviating the challenges of IoT detection. In addition, a linear discrimination analysis (LDA) model for distinguishing between normal activities and IoT botnets was developed. Network-based detection of IoT (N-BaIoT) dataset was used to evaluate the performance of the proposed IoT botnet detection model in terms of accuracy, precision, and detection rate. Experimental results revealed that the proposed IoT botnet detection model provides a relevant feature subset and preserves high accuracy when compared with state-of-the-art and baseline methods, particularly LDA.

The world is evolving toward a circular economy, which focuses on decreasing waste and extending the life of commodities. This work suggests using waste of glass to prepare composite. Epoxy was reinforced 50% by weight using waste glass. At room temperature were prepared samples reinforced and unreinforced and immersed in five solutions (HCl, Water, NaOH, Kerosene and Benzene) for four weeks, to find out the resistance of the epoxy after reinforcing. It is found that reinforced samples have resistance of increased after immersion in corrosive media comparison pure epoxy and it was obvious that the hardness were modified by 57% and remain constant during the immersion period in solutions. After immersing specimens in HCl the weight of the specimens decreases by 3.6%, unlike other solutions the weight of the specimens’ increase. Indicating that epoxy gains resistance after being reinforced with glass waste, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications.

Major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders are two mental diseases that are treated with amitriptyline (AMT). AMT treatments induced liver, heart and testes toxicity; As a result, the purpose of this study was to determine the preventative and therapeutic role of damiana (Dam) as adjuvant herbal therapy against AMT induced heart injury in rats. Six groups of 36 rats (male albino) were randomly assigned; first one is control, second is Dam, third was AMT, fourth was Dam+AMT, fifth was AMT+Dam and sixth was AMT self-healing. A significant elevation in creatinine, urea, sodium (Na+), Chloride (Cl+), renal injury, DNA damage and apoptosis in treatment rats with amitriptyline and self-healing group as related to control and damiana groups. Conversely; potassium (K+) and calcium (Ca++) were a significant decrease in AMT and self-healing groups as compared with control. Treatment of AMT with Dam (Co and Post) revealed a modulation and improvement of renal toxicity with best result in co- treatments than post treatments. As a result, AMT treatments encouraged changes in kidney functions and structure and the post-treatments of AMT with dam modulates these alterations.

Background: One of the recommended methods for reducing aerosol contamination during the daily regular usage of high-speed turbine and ultrasonic scaling is the use of preprocedural mouth rinse. Several agents have been investigated as a preprocedural mouth rinse. Chlorhexidine significantly reduce the viable microbial content of aerosol when used as a preprocedural rinse. Studies have shown that cetylpridinum chloride (CPC) mouthwash is equally effective as chlorhexidine in reducing plaque and gingivitis. This study compared the effect of 0.07% CPC to 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX) as preprocedural mouth rinses in reducing the aerosol contamination by high-speed turbine. Materials and Methods: 36 patients were divided into three groups based on the preprocedural rinse used (0.2% CHX, 0.07% CPC and distilled water). Conservative treatment was done for 20 min. (10 min before rinsing and 10 min after rinsing) in the same closed operatory for all the patients after keeping blood agar plates opened at three standardized locations (patient chest, dentist chest and at 12-inch from patient mouth). Colony forming units (CFUs) on blood agar plates were counted, after incubation at 37°C for 48 hr. Statistical analysis was done with (SPSS version 21(. Results: This study showed that the two antiseptic mouthwashes significantly reduced the bacterial colony forming units (CFUs) in aerosol samples at three plates locations. Chlorhexidine rinses were found to be superior to cetylpridinum chloride when used pre-procedurally in reducing aerolized bacteria. The number of CFUs were higher at the patient’s chest location as compared to other locations. Conclusion: 0.07% CPC and 0.2% CHX were effective as a pre-procedural rinse in reducing CFU count during dental treatment using high-speed turbine.

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) manifests as multiple clinical and pathological organ dysfunctions. It also disrupts metabolic profile due to the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines causing a systemic inflammation reaction. As the number of COVID-19 complications continues to rise worldwide, the identification of risk factors for the disease is an urgent issue, and it remains controversial whether atherogenic lipid-related traits including lipid peroxidation product 4-Hydroxynonenal and lipid profile panel levels, are risk factors. The aim of this study was to estimate causal effects of lipid-related factors on COVID-19 risk Methods: This case control study includes (90) subjects, were divided into: (30) critical, (30) sever COVID-19 groups, and (30) control group. Samples of COVID-19 patients were collected from Al-Hayat unit at Imam Hussein Medical City/ Iraq. This study was included all patients that confirmed with positive RT-PCR in the hospital, and only smoked patients were excluded….Results: The results of this study found significant increase in HNE levels in sever and critical groups compared to control group.

PAR-1-mediated the endothelial disruption that occurs in the context of thromboinflammation. In addition, PAR1 promotes a profibrotic phenotype in fibroblasts, alveolar inflammation, and apoptosis. This is an active area of research; more data are needed to clarify similarities and differences of the PARs and their modulators in Post and Critical cases of COVID-19. Such issues are especially relevant given the potential use PAR-1 as a marker of promote thrombosis and tissue injury through a proposed mechanism between inflammation and thrombosis that was reported previously. This paper would track the theoretical role of PAR-1 as a marker of promote thrombosis in COVID-19 cases by looking for the following questions: What is the Cross Talk Between Thromboinflammation and Protease-activated receptors during Post and Critical cases of COVID-19?

The present study reveals the role of Nb and Ni minor addition on the nanomechanical properties and nanostructure of ZrCuAl bulk metallic glass (BMG). For this purpose, atomic force microscopy (AFM) was used to evaluate the viscoelastic response of the BMG surface at the nanoscale, while the nanoindentation technique was applied to show the mechanism of plastic deformation. The results indicated that minor Nb addition decreased the relaxation of enthalpy accompanied by the weakening of structural heterogeneity. On the other hand, Ni addition improved the stored energy of the material and intensified the distribution of loosely packed regions in the microstructure. Moreover, the mechanical test unveiled that Ni addition enhanced the viscoelastic response; however, it came at the expense of creep resistance. The evaluation of the magnitude of the derivative in the nanoindentation test also demonstrated that the Ni-added sample exhibited a multiple shear-band mode for plastic deformation.

In today's world, which is entangled with numerous foodborne pathogenic bacteria and viruses, it appears to be essential to rethink detection methods of these due to the importance of food safety in our lives. The vast majority of detection methods for foodborne pathogenic bacteria and viruses have suffered from sensitivity and selectivity due to the small size of these pathogens. Besides, these types of sensing approaches can improve on-site detection platforms in the fields of food safety. In recent, microfluidics systems as new emerging types of portable sensing approaches can introduce efficient and simple biodevice by integration with several analytical methods such as electrochemical, optical and colorimetric techniques. Additionally, taking advantage of aptamer as a selective bioreceptor in the sensing of microfluidics system has provided selective, sensitive, portable and affordable sensing approaches. Furthermore, some papers use increased data transferability ability and computational power of these sensing platforms by exploiting smartphones. In this review, we attempted to provide an overview of the current state of the recent aptasensor based on microfluidic for screening of foodborne pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Working strategies, benefits and disadvantages of these sensing approaches are briefly discussed.

The study aims to show the effect of salicylic acid at concertation (50–100 and 150 ppm) and Pseudomonas fluorescens at (105,106,107 cfu/mL) on protein, carbohydrates content and leaf area for two varieties (Abu-Ghraib, Abaa 99) of Triticum aestivum L. The results are indicated the significant effect of P. fluorescens and salicylic acid (SA) at the combination of concentration of P. fluorescens (FP2) and SA (SA2) for variety (Abu-Ghraib) was more impact than (Abaa 99) on the physiological aspect like protein, carbohydrates content and leaf area (7.427, 55.55, 26.42) mg/g dry weight respectively while the value of control was (0.969, 4.158, 4.100) mg/g, respectively. The results showed that salicylic acid and P. fluorescens induced better than the sole application of SA or P. fluorescens.

This paper presents an exploration of choosing the optimum density for concrete that achieves the best structural performance for two-way slabs made of concrete with fine aggregate in different proportions less than the ratio used in ordinary concrete to produce different densities, by taking advantage of the idea of fine aggregate concrete which considers as light-weight concrete to achieve lighter concrete with higher structural endurance. The experimental program includes constructing and testing five slabs, four of them made of concrete with different fine aggregate radios 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% to get different densities (2207, 1792, 1536, 1310 kg/m3) as well as another slab made of normal concrete used as a reference slab with a density of 2414 kg/m3. The outcomes reveal that decreasing the density of the slab from 2414 kg/m3 to 1310 kg/m3 by reduction fine aggregate in concrete from 100% to 0% respectively has more effect on the first crack load than that on the ultimate load of two-way slabs as the first crack load decreases with percentages 16.7%, 33.3%, 38.9%, and 61.1% the while the ultimate load decreases with percentages 7.3%, 21.9%, 46.3%, and 56.1%, respectively as compared to the reference (normal wight concrete slab). Also, decreasing the density of the slab made the cracks form and spread quickly and the slab failure tends towards the brittleness, and the cracks diffused and grew faster and wider.

The current study reports radon gas measurements (Rn) levels of concentration in indoor air at various locations of the Iraqi museum and Al-mustansiriya old school which were conducted using a solid state nuclear track detector (SSNTDs) technique. The samples were randomly distributed over twenty different locations in the Iraqi museum and Al-mustansiriya old school. Radon concentrations (CRn) and risk factors (PAEC (mWL), EP (WLM Y-1), AED (mSv /y) and cancer of the Lungs per 106 person) were calculated, the values of radon concentration were high in the basements (ground floor) and poor ventilation locations (A7 and B1), while the average radon concentration was equal to 168.27±5.89 and 231.88±3.03 Bq/m3, (AED) 5.5±0.32 and 8.32±0.13 mSv/y, (CPPP) 154.63±2.16 and 184.21±1.86, (PAEC) 45.84±1.70 and 39.14±1.31 mWL and (EP) 0.93±0.036 and 1.53±0.022 WLMY-1 in Iraqi museum and Al-mustansiriya old school respectively, all these values are within the permissible limits recommended by the ICRP.

A field experiment was conducted in the Faculty of Agriculture / University of Tikrit in the agricultural season 2019, to study the effect of Rhizobium (without and inoculated) and enzyme root Stimulator at three levels (0, 12, 16) L.ha-1 in some traits of growth and yield of lentils and their effect on the root nodes and the number Bacterial cells. The results showed that the Rhizobium pollination led to a significant increase in plant height, dry weight of plants, number of pods, dry weight of pods, 1000 seeds weight (grain yield, number of root nodes, number of bacteria, and nitrogen percentage in the root, and also, the addition of Inicium led to an increase in these studied traits. The interaction between the pollination with Rhizobium and the level of addition of Inicium (16) L.ha-1 gave the highest average of the above traits and the seed yield (593.72) kg.ha-1 and the number of root nodes (8.33) nodes / root / plant and ratio Nitrogen by root is 5.48%.
