The Qianjiadian deposit is a typical sandstone‐hosted uranium deposit that is hosted mainly in sandstone and siltstone of the Lower Cretaceous Yaojia Formation, located within the transition between the Kailu Depression and Jiamatu Uplift in the Songliao Basin, northeastern China. We studied the geological characteristics of this deposit, and analysed the mineralized sandstone by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) to identify the host minerals of fluid inclusions associated with uranium mineralization and describe their petrographic characteristics. In addition, this research investigated the origin of ore‐forming fluids and the relationship between petroleum fluids and uranium mineralization, based on the following findings. (1) EPMA and SEM data show that uranium minerals are hosted mainly in hydrothermal quartz (HQ) within sandstone cement, which indicates that uranium minerals co‐precipitated with HQ. (2) The fluid inclusions in the HQ show low homogenization temperatures (102.5–169.5°C) and low salinities (1.7–6.1 wt%). In contrast, aqueous inclusions in quartz overgrowths show lower temperatures (60.5–117°C) and higher salinities (4.2–8.7 wt%). (3) Petroleum fluids trapped in HQ homogenize fluid and those along healed microfractures in quartz overgrowth or plagioclase overgrowths at ~70–80°C, those trapped in present‐day organic inclusions at ~85–95°C, and at the boundary of detrital mineral grains show higher homogenization temperatures (~135–145°C). These results indicate that the hydrothermal quartz cement is associated with uranium mineralization, and the ore‐forming fluid of Qianjiadian sandstone‐hosted uranium deposit are characterized by low‐temperature, low‐salinity hydrothermal fluids, and the changes of temperature and salinity of hydrothermal fluids may not be intimately associated with uranium mineralization. The recently discovered Bulage Pb–Zn deposit is located in the central part of the Erlianhot–Dongwuqi Metallogenic Belt (eastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt) in Inner Mongolia, China. The ore bodies of the deposit are hosted in alkali feldspar granite and in dacitic crystal tuff within Unit 2 of the Carboniferous Baoligaomiao Formation. The Bulage deposit is a low to moderate temperature hydrothermal vein‐type deposit and is controlled by fractures. The hydrothermal mineralization can be divided into three stages: early (quartz + specularite ± magnetite), middle (quartz + sphalerite + galena ± chalcopyrite ± pyrite), and late (calcite ± quartz + sphalerite + galena). The deposit contains liquid‐rich two‐phase (VL‐type) and pure‐liquid (L‐type) fluid inclusions. The initial ore‐forming fluids are attributed to the low to moderate temperature and low salinity of a NaCl–H2O system. Hydrogen and oxygen isotopic compositions of quartz and calcite indicate that the ore‐forming fluids were dominated by meteoric water with minor contributions of magmatic water. The quartz diorite, monzonite porphyry, and alkali feldspar granite in the deposit yield LA–ICP–MS zircon U–Pb ages of 305–300 Ma. These high‐K calc‐alkaline I‐type granitoids are enriched in large‐ion lithophile elements (LILEs; e.g., Rb, Cs, and K) and light rare earth elements (LREEs) and are depleted in high‐field‐strength elements (HFSEs; e.g., Nb, Ta, and Ti) and heavy rare earth elements (HREEs). The primary magma of these granitoids was derived from the partial melting of lower crust. The parental magma of the quartz diorite may have provided part of the ore‐forming material and acted as a heat source for mineralization. Therefore, we infer that the Bulage Pb–Zn deposit was formed as a result of the southward subduction of the Paleo–Asian Ocean beneath the North China Craton during the Late Carboniferous. To deal with the problem that many products in discrete manufacturing factories had flexible process design which had increased the complexity of scheduling, this paper proposed the FPJSP as an extension of JSP, and built the mathematical model for the new scheduling problem to shorten the production cycle. It proposed the hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) to solve the model. According to the characteristics of FPJSP, it designed the genetic algorithm (GA) with improved chromosome encoding schema and genetic operators. In combination with the variable neighborhood search algorithm (VNS), it designed four neighborhood structures to enable dynamic neighborhood search and improve the neighborhood search performance of GA. Meningitis caused by Moraxella osloensis is rare and easily misdiagnosed clinically. Here, we report the first case of meningitis caused by M. osloensis in China by taking advantage of the metagenomic next-generation sequencing technology in cerebrospinal fluid for pathogen screening. In addition, we extend the neurological signs, clinical symptoms, diagnostic methods, and treatment of this rare disease., (© 2024 The Author(s). This study aimed to investigate the mechanism of Xihuang Pills in improving hyperplasia of mammary gland(HMG) in rats based on urine metabolomics using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS). The HMG rat model was established by intramuscular injection of estradiol benzoate solution(0.5 mg·kg~(-1), 25 days) followed by progesterone injection(5 mg·kg~(-1), 5 days). UPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS technology was used to establish the endogenous small-molecule metabolic profiles in urine samples of rats in the blank group, the HMG model group, and Xihuang Pills group. Multivariate statistical analysis was performed for pattern recognition, t test and variable importance in the projection(VIP) were used to screen potential biomarkers. The significantly changed differential metabolites were identified using the online database Human Metabolome Database(HMDB). Metabolic pathway enrichment analysis was conducted using the MetaboAnalyst 5.0 database. The results showed that 90 differential metabolites with significant changes(P<0.05) were identified between the blank group and the HMG model group using the HMDB. Among them, 48 metabolites significantly reverted(P<0.05) after administration of Xihuang Pills, which may be related to the regulatory effect of Xihuang Pills. Thirteen metabolic pathways significantly associated with HMG were identified when the differential metabolites were imported into the MetaboAnalyst 5.0 database, and Xihuang Pills could modulate seven of these pathways. These metabolic pathways mainly involved histidine metabolism, arginine and proline metabolism, β-alanine metabolism, glycine, serine and threonine metabolism, tryptophan metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism, and amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism. This study utilized UPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS and urine metabolomics technology to analyze the mechanism of Xihuang Pills in improving HMG, laying the foundation for further in-depth research.

The controlling synthesis of novel nanoclusters of noble metals (Au, Ag) and the determination of their atomically precise structures provide opportunities for investigating their specific properties and applications. Here we report a novel silver nanocluster [Ag 307 Cl 62 (SPh t Bu) 110 ] (Ag 307 ) whose structure is determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The structure analysis shows that nanocluster Ag 307 contains a Ag 167 core, a surface shell of [Ag 140 Cl 2 S 110 ], and a Cl 60 intermediate layer located between Ag 167 and [Ag 140 Cl 2 S 110 ]. It is a first example that such many chlorides are intercalated into a Ag nanocluster. Chlorides are released in situ from solvent CHCl 3 . Nanocluster Ag 307 exhibits superstability. Differential pulse voltammetry experiment reveals that Ag 307 has continuous charging/discharging behavior with a capacitance value of 1.39 aF, while the Ag 307 has a surface plasmonic feature. These characteristics show that Ag 307 is of metallic behavior. However, its electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra display a spin magnetic behavior which could be originated from the unpassivated dangling bonds of surface atoms. The direct capture of EPR signals can be attributed to the Cl - intercalating layer which partly suppresses the electronic interactions between core and surface atoms, resulting in the relatively independent electronic states for core and surface atoms.

A first and stable Ag-P superatom nanocluster [Ag 15 (N-triphos) 4 (Cl 4 )](NO 3 ) 3 (1) has been successfully synthesized and characterized. X-ray analysis shows that this Ag 15 cluster has a hexacapped body-centered cubic (bcc) framework which is consolidated by four tripodal N-triphos ligands. The identity of 1 is confirmed by high resolution ESI-MS. Cluster 1 has an electronic and geometric shell closure structure with 8 free electrons, matching the stability idea of superatom theory for a nanocluster. DFT calculation of this Ag 15 cluster reveals the superatom feature with a 1S 2 1P 6 configuration. The chelation of multidentate phosphines enhances the stability of this Ag 15 cluster. The AgAg distances between the centered and the vertical Ag atoms of this bcc (Ag@Ag 8 ) are in the range of 2.57-2.71 Å, and the distances between the face-capped and the vertical silver atoms are in the range of 2.84-2.92 Å, showing strong AgAg interactions within this cluster core. This superatom complex exhibits a relatively high thermal and photolytic stability.

Two wheat cultivars (Jimai 22 and Shannong 23) were selected to investigate the changes of seed vigor at different development stages in different years by standard germination test, and the effect of environmental temperature on it was also analyzed, which would provide a theoretical basis for the utilization of early wheat seeds and the production of high vigor seeds. The results showed that the germination ability of fresh seeds appeared around 26 d after anthesis, and then the germination rate of fresh seeds displayed an overall upward trend with the development of wheat seeds. The germination energy, germination rate and germination index of dry seeds rapidly increased from 5 d to 8 d after anthesis, and then remained relatively stable, while the vigor index increased continually and reached the peak 4-6 days before the end of ripening due to the increase of seedling dry mass. The dry seeds at different developmental stages were also studied by field-plan-ting and the seed vigor of their progenies was also determined. For Jimai 22, the results indicated that the field emergence of dry seeds at 17 d after anthesis was higher and the plant could form grains, there were no significant differences in germination rate and vigor index among different samples of progeny seeds. In addition, the changes of seed vigor at different development stages were significantly affected by the environmental temperature. In the year with the high mean daily average temperature, high mean daily maximum temperature, high mean daily minimum temperature after anthesis, and large mean daily temperature difference after anthesis, the seed development time was shorter, but the 100-grain mass and seed vigor reached the peak earlier; Otherwise, the seed development time was longer, but the accumulated temperature of ripe stage was higher, and the seed vigor was higher.

This study aimed to analyze the enzyme activities and gene expression differences related to seed germination in different wheat genotypes, and to clarify the relationship between seed vigor and the related enzyme activities as well as gene expression under stress germination conditions. We measured seed vigor, total soluble sugar content, soluble protein content, α-amylase activity, cysteine protease activity and gene expression of the related enzymes of four wheat cultivars under drought, artificial aging and cold soaking stress. Results showed that drought, artificial aging and cold soaking stress affected seed vigor to some extent. Under different germination conditions, total soluble sugar content showed an increasing trend with small amplitude at first and then decreased with small amplitude and after that increased rapidly again, while soluble protein content in the four cultivars gradually decreased with germination time. The α-amylase activity of the four cultivars showed a rising trend on the whole, but that of Yunong 949 and Lunxuan 061 declined after germinating for 60 hours after cold soaking stress. Cysteine protease activity decreased at first and then increased as a whole. However, under drought stress condition, cysteine protease activity of Yunong 949, Yumai 49-198 and Lunxuan 061 increased at first and then decreased and finally increased again. The α-AMY (α-amylase gene) expression levels increased at first and then decreased as a whole under different germination conditions. The expression level of α-AMY in Lunxuan 061 after cold soaking stress was higher than that of CK, while the α-AMY expression levels in four cultivars under other stress germination conditions were lower than that of CK. The expression level of CP (cysteine protease gene) showed an increasing trend. No significant difference of CP expression level was found in Chang 4738 between artificial aging treatment and CK. The CP expression levels in the four cultivars under other stress conditions were higher than that of CK. The results demonstrated that there was no direct relationship between the enzyme activities and gene expression levels of α-amylase and cysteine protease under different germination conditions. The α-amylase activity and total soluble sugar content had an extremely significant positive correlation, but the correlation between cysteine protease activity and soluble protein content was not significant. The α-amylase activity significantly positively correlated with vigor index under standard germination condition. However, the α-amylase activity had no significant correlation with vigor index under stress conditions. After cold soaking stress, cysteine protease activity significantly positively correlated with vi-gor index during seed germination, but the correlation was not significant under standard germination, drought stress and artificial aging.

A total of 16 wheat cultivars were selected to detect seed vigor of different genotypes using standard germination test, seed germination test under stress conditions and field emergence test. The adversity resistance indices of seed vigor indices and field emergence percentage under different germination conditions were used as the indices to evaluate adversity resistance. Principal component analysis and cluster analysis were used for the comprehensive evaluation of seed vigor. Results showed that drought stress, artificial aging and cold soaking treatments affected seed vigor to some extent. The adversity resistance indices of the artificial aging and cold soaking tests were significantly positively correlated with the field emergence percentage, while the adversity resistance index of drought stress test had no significant correlation with the field emergence percentage. 16 wheat cultivars were classified as three groups based on the principal component analysis and cluster analysis. Yunong 949, Yumai 49-198, Luyuan 502, Zhengyumai 9987, Shimai 21, Shannong 23, and Shixin 828 belonged to high vigor seeds. Xunong 5, Yunong 982, Tangmai 8, Jimai 20, Jimai 22, Jinan 17, and Shannong 20 belonged to medium vigor seeds. The other two cultivars, Chang 4738 and Lunxuan 061, belonged to low vigor seeds.
