The purpose of the articleis to consider and analyze the creative work of Teo (Fedor) Vozianov as one of the leading Ukrainian fashion designers through the example of catwalk collections which were presented by him at Ukrainian Fashion Week; to identify the theme, the stylistic and the imagery of his design activity; to trace the features of its formation and evolutionary-transformational movement.The research methodologyconsisted in the application of comprehensive analysis of material (clothing) and non-material (ideological and metaphorical) basis of Teo Vozianov’s creative work.The scientific novelty of the worklies in re-examination, regularization and systematization of facts of the creative biography of the designer in order to reveal the importance of his creative activity in the development of Ukrainian fashion industry and modern trends in Ukrainian fashion design in general.Conclusions. It was concluded that Vozianov’s collections demonstrate his individual, well-established and recognizable stylistic and imagery, which representVozianovbrand. T. Vozianov’s fashion line is characterized by the imagery which was created beyond the canonical scopes of traditional fashion and beyond the scopes of its norms, which appears in the forms of the ‘character-image’ system. T.Vozianov’s design ideas have a philosophical overtone that affects both the interpretation of images of his collections and the fashion-art direction chosen by him. Interest in the theory and in Kazimir Malevich’s creativity brought T.Vozianov’s project activity to cutting-edge conceptuality, establishing the ideas of minimalism, geometrism, laconism of the forms which are inherent to all of his collections and enjoy great popularity in modern Ukrainian and European fashion. T.Vozianov rethought K. Malevich’s work not only through the image system but also as his own creative technique, giving modern impetus to the idea of suprematism. Artistic priorities in T. Vozianov’s design determine the originality of his themes, modern stylistic and imagery. The image and theme overtone of T.Vozianov’s creativity has intellectual and analytical basis and is reinforced by the power of his creative thought, which is an integral part of the main direction of modern design.

Методология исследования состоит в применении комплексного анализа материальных (одежда) и нематериальных (идейно-образных) основ творческих наработок Тео Возианова. Научная новизна работы состоит в пересмотре, упорядочении и систематизации фактов творческой биографии дизайнера относительно определения значимости его деяльности в развитии украинськой фешн-индустрии, современных процессов в укранском дизайне одежды в целом. Выводы. Подитожено, что в коллекциях Т. Возианова присутствует отработанная им, индивидуальная, узнаваетмая стилитика и образность, которая существует как бренд vozianov. Дизайнерськую линию Т. Возианова отличает образность, созданная за рамками канонов традиционной моды и за рамками ее нормирований, которая предстает в соответственных формах системы образ-имидж. Дизайн-идеи Т. Возианова имеют философский подтекст, который влияет как на интерпретации образов его коллекций, так и на избранное им направление фешн-творчества. Обращение к теории и живописи Казимира Малевича, подняло проектную деяльность Т. Возианова до сверхактуальной концептуальности, подтвердив идеи минимализма, геометризма, лаконичности форм, которые присущи всем его коллекциям и являються востребованными в современной украинской и європейськой моде; Т. Возианов переосмислил наследие К. Малевича не только через систему образов, а и как собственный авторский творческий прием, задавши тем самым идее супрематизма сувременный импульс. Приоритеты искусства в дизайне Т. Возианова определяют оригинальность его тем, новой стилистики и образности. Образно-тематический подтекст творчеста Т. Возианова базируется на интелектуально-аналитической основе и усиливается креативностью творческой мысли, что есть неотъемлемой составляющей магистрального направления современного дизайна., Мета роботи – розглянути та проаналізувати творчу діяльність Тео (Федора) Возіанова як одного із провідних українських дизайнерів одягу; на прикладі подіумних колекцій, представлених ним на «Українських тижнях моди» (Ukrainian Fashion Week), виявити тематику, стилістику та образність його дизайнерської діяльності, простежити особливості її формування та еволюційно-трансформаційний рух. Методологія дослідження полягає у застосуванні комплексного аналізу матеріальних (одягу) та нематеріальних (ідейно-образних) засад творчого доробку Тео Возіанова. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у перегляді, впорядкуванні та систематизації фактів творчої біографії дизайнера щодо визначення значимості його діяльності у розвитку української фешн-індустрії, сучасних процесів в українському дизайні одягу в цілому. Висновки. Підсумовано, що у колекціях Т. Возіанова присутня відпрацьована ним, індивідуальна, впізнавана стилістика та образність, що існує як бренд vozianov. Дизайнерську лінію Т. Возіанова відрізняє образність, створена поза канонами традиційної моди і поза її унормувань, яка постає у відповідних формах системи образ-імідж. Дизайн-ідеї Т. Возіанова мають філософське підгрунтя, яке впливає як на інтерпретації образів його колекцій, так і на обраний ним напрямок фешн-творчості. Звернення до теорії та живопису Казимира Малевича, піднесло проектну діяльність Т. Возіанова до надактуальної концептуальності, підтвердивши ідею мінімалізму, геометризму, лаконічності форм, які притаманні всім його колекціям і є запитаними в сучасній українській та європейській моді; Т. Возіанов переосмислив доробок К. Малевича не тільки через систему образів, а й як власний авторський творчий прийом, завдавши тим самим ідеї супрематизму сучасного імпульсу. Мистецькі пріоритети у дизайні Т. Возіанова визначають оригінальність його тем, новітньої стилістики та образності. Образно-тематичний підтекст творчості Т. Возіанова грунтується на інтелектуально-аналітичній основі та підсилюється креативністю творчої думки, що є невід’ємною складовою магістрального напряму сучасного дизайну.

The purpose of the article is to define and analyze the basic styles of clothing, their characteristic features and properties, the importance of clothing style in image-making, which has been a topical issue over the last decades but remains insufficiently lighted in Ukrainian art criticism. The purpose of the article is to reveal the role of clothing style in forming the image of a contemporary person. The research methodology consisted in the analysis and synthesis, historical and comparative approach, and typological constructions according to art critical criteria of imagery. Based on the complex analysis of notions in the theory and history of design, the concept of style was specified in relation to the basic tendencies of fashion; based on the method of parallel comparison, the realistic picture of development of modern styles of clothing as the basis of image was revealed. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the analysis of scientific data on the issue, its systematization in accordance with modern scientific art critical approaches, and final generalization; addressing the problems of forming/designing the image at the theoretical and practical levels, which, in the conditions of significant interest of various specialists in the fashion industry, does not yet require more detailed scientific art critical comprehension. The disclosure of this issue contributes to the greater effectiveness of designing the image both at the theoretical and practical levels. Conclusions. It was concluded that the image of a person is formed due to various components, where a significant place belongs to the choice of the style of clothing. Knowledge of up-to-date stylistic tendencies of fashion, in particular, couture fashion, and its modifications, is important for solving topical questions of positioning, presentation and self-realization of a person in the society., Цель работы. Определить и проанализировать базовые стили одежды, их характерные черты и свойства, значение стиля одежды для имиджа, который является на протяжении последних десятилетий актуальной проблемой, оставаясь недостаточно освещенными в украинском искусствоведении. Целью статьи является обоснование роли стиля одежды в формировании имиджа современного человека. Методами исследования являются анализ и синтез, исторический и компаративный подход, типологические построения по искусствоведческим критериям образности. На основе комплексного анализа положений теории и истории дизайна конкретизируется понятие стиля относительно основных тенденций моды; по методике параллельного сравнения выявлена достоверная картина развития современных стилей одежды как основы имиджа. Научная новизна работы заключается в анализе научных данных по данной проблематике, их систематизация в соответствии с современными научными искусствоведческими подходами и итоговое обобщение; в обращении к проблематике формирования / проектирования имиджа на теоретическом и практическом уровне, в условиях значительного интереса различных специалистов индустрии моды, пока не нуждается в более подробном научном искусствоведческом осмыслении. Раскрытие данного вопроса способствует большой эффективности проектирования имиджа как на теоретическом, так и практическом уровнях. Выводы. Подытожено, имидж человека формируется благодаря различным составляющим, где существенное место принадлежит выбору стиля одежды. Знание актуальных стилистических тенденций моды, в частности высокой, и ее модификаций, имеет важное значение для решения актуальных вопросов позиционирования, презентации и самореализации человека в обществе., Мета роботи. Визначити і проаналізувати базові стилі одягу, їх характерні риси та властивості, значення одягового стилю для іміджу, що є впродовж останніх десятиліть актуальною проблемою, залишаючись недостатньо висвітленими в українському мистецтвознавстві. Метою статті є обгрунтування ролі одягового стилю у формуванні іміджу сучасної людини. Методами дослідження є аналіз та синтез, історичний та компаративний підхід, типологічні побудування за мистецтвознавчими критеріями образності. На основі комплексного аналізу положень теорії та історії дизайну конкретизується поняття стилю щодо основних тенденцій моди; за методикою паралельного порівняння виявлено достовірну картину розвитку сучасних стилів одягу як основи іміджу. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в аналізі наукових даних із зазначеної проблематики, їх систематизація, відповідно до сучасних наукових мистецтвознавчих підходів, та підсумкове узагальнення; в зверненні до проблематики формування/проектування іміджу на теоретичному та практичному рівні, що в умовах значного інтересу різних фахівців індустрії моди, поки що не потребує більш докладного наукового мистецтвознавчого осмислення. Розкриття даного питання сприяє більшій ефективності проектування іміджу як на теоретичному, так і практичному рівнях. У висновках, підсумовано, що імідж людини формується завдяки різним складовим, де суттєве місце належить вибору стилю одягу. Знання актуальних стилістичних тенденцій моди, зокрема високої, та її модифікацій, має важливе значення для вирішення актуальних питань позиціонування, презентації та самореалізації людини в суспільстві.

Main objective of the study. Article research of maintenance of concepts «character» and «image», that have deployment in the spheres of design, industry of fashion, stilies, which usually apply as identical as double expression «image-character». Research methodology consists of application of complex analysis of formulations and determinations of every concept in the context of different disciplines, straight or indirect related to this main. The scientific novelty of work consists of clarification of ideas about contents terms «image» and «character», their specific, parameters of interrelations and correlations. They are offered explanations in the context of design that imagology. Findings. It is summed up that the image-image relationship exists in the interaction of the internal and external, where the semantic load of the concept «image» corresponds to the internal state of the individual, and the «image» – to its external manifestations, where the image is a kind of image formed due to the perception of certain characteristics of the object; character is anymore related to psihotipe and natural character, individual inclination, that consistently, harmoniously combine the personal lines in their most expressive shows. Image transforms representations for a certain «artificial» standard. Taken by combination of material and non-material elements, an image and character represent individually-personality and communities of conformity to law of development of culture and people.
