With the widespread deployment of video surveillance devices and the demand for intelligent system development, video anomaly detection (VAD) has become an important part of constructing intelligent surveillance systems. Expanding the discriminative boundary between normal and abnormal events to enhance performance is the common goal and challenge of VAD. To address this problem, we propose a Bidirectional Skip-frame Prediction (BiSP) network based on a dual-stream autoencoder, from the perspective of learning the intra-domain disparity between different features. The BiSP skips frames in the training phase to achieve the forward and backward frame prediction respectively, and in the testing phase, it utilizes bidirectional consecutive frames to co-predict the same intermediate frames, thus expanding the degree of disparity between normal and abnormal events. The BiSP designs the variance channel attention and context spatial attention from the perspectives of movement patterns and object scales, respectively, thus ensuring the maximization of the disparity between normal and abnormal in the feature extraction and delivery with different dimensions. In this article, we firstly studied wave function in static spherically symmetric spacetime and obtained effective potential of perturbed fields with spin. Then we applied $6^{\rm{th}}$ order WKB approximation to analyze quasinormal modes of Schwarzschild black hole in the Cold Dark Matter halo in perturbed fields with different spins and derived quasinormal frequencies. Further, to study the relation between quasinormal frequencies and optics, we compare the results of WKB method with eikonal limit formula. With the rapid advancement in machine learning, the recognition and analysis of brain activity based on EEG and eye movement signals have attained a high level of sophistication. Utilizing deep learning models for learning EEG and eye movement features proves effective in classifying brain activities. A focused state indicates intense concentration on a task or thought. Distinguishing focused and unfocused states can be achieved through eye movement behaviors, reflecting variations in brain activities. By calculating binocular focusing point disparity in eye movement signals and integrating relevant EEG features, we propose an annotation method for focused states. The resulting comprehensive dataset, derived from raw data processed through a bio-acquisition device, includes both EEG features and focused labels annotated by eye movements. Extensive training and testing on several deep learning models, particularly the Transformer, yielded a 90.16% accuracy on the subject-dependent experiments. The validity of this approach was demonstrated, with cross-subject experiments, key frequency band and brain region analyses confirming its generalizability and providing physiological explanations.

In this paper, we present a solution for a five-dimensional boson star under gravity with infinite tower of higher curvature corrections. We discover that when the coupling constant exceeds a certain threshold, an alternative configuration emerges, distinct from the conventional five-dimensional boson star. This new structure is characterized by a broader frequency range, with its minimum value approaching zero. At a truncation of $n=2$ for the correction order, the solution and its scalar curvature diverge as the frequency approaches zero. However, as the order of higher curvature corrections increases, the singularity at the center vanishes, resulting in a globally regular solution. Additionally, as the frequency approaches zero, the scalar field's radial distribution becomes concentrated within the critical radius $r_c$, forming what we term a ``frozen star". Beyond this radius, the metric of the frozen star almost degenerates into that of an extreme black hole. The solutions for such frozen stars offer a new avenue for exploring the enigmatic interiors of compact celestial bodies, enhancing our understanding of the internal structure of black holes under semi-classical conditions and potentially addressing the series of paradoxes associated with information loss due to singularities and horizons., Comment: 19 pages, 8 figures

Using holography, we study the universal scaling laws governing the coarsening dynamics of strongly coupled domain walls. Specifically, we studied the universal dependence of the length of the domain wall interfaces on the quench rate. The relation satisfies the Kibble-Zurek scaling shortly after the critical point. However, as time goes by, the coarsening dynamics suppresses the Kibble-Zurek scaling in favor of a universal dynamical scaling of the characteristic length and the adiabatic growth of the system. Spontaneous symmetry breaking is a fundamental notion in modern physics, ranging from high energy to condensed matter. However, the usual spontaneous symmetry breaking only considers the equal probability to select the vacua. In this work, we conceive a model to realize the unequal probability of the symmetry breaking, leading to an unbalanced number of ground states. Specifically, we study the probabilities of a scalar field to roll down from the top of a potential, where the top is only $C^1$ continuous. As the whole system is subject to random perturbations, we find that the probability for the field to roll down to the left or right side depends the square root of the second derivative of the potential at the top. We solve this problem theoretically by using the Fokker-Planck equations in stochastic process and verify our findings numerically. Topological phononic crystals (PCs) offer a novel approach to control the behavior of acoustic or elastic waves. In this paper, we design the gradient PC structures with coupled interfaces to realize topological rainbow trapping and broadband acoustic energy harvesting. Based on the geometric symmetry of PC unit cells, we construct the coupled topological interfaces by amalgamating two PCs with distinct topological phases. Also, the gradient modulation of structural parameters along the coupled interfaces is employed for the generation of rainbow trapping. Subsequently, a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film is mounted along the coupled interfaces of the gradient PC structures, facilitating the conversion of acoustic energy into electrical energy. The numerical and experimental results show that the acoustic waves at different frequencies stop and are amplified at different positions of the coupled interfaces. Compared with the harvester in a bare structure, the topological PC energy harvester significantly enhances the output power at different excited frequencies. In the experiments, the maximum amplification ratio of the output power reaches 91. Besides, it is demonstrated that the topological rainbow trapping of acoustic waves exhibits robustness against random structural disorders. Notably, the coupled interfaces have broadband and multi-mode features, which are promising for other applications such as selective filtering and sensing enhancement.

In recent years, research on point weakly supervised object detection (PWSOD) methods in the field of computer vision has attracted people's attention. However, existing pseudo labels generation methods perform poorly in a small amount of supervised annotation data and dense object detection tasks. We consider the generation of weakly supervised pseudo labels as the result of model's sparse output, and propose a method called Sparse Generation to make pseudo labels sparse. It constructs dense tensors through the relationship between data and detector model, optimizes three of its parameters, and obtains a sparse tensor via coordinated calculation, thereby indirectly obtaining higher quality pseudo labels, and solving the model's density problem in the situation of only a small amount of supervised annotation data can be used. On two broadly used open-source datasets (RSOD, SIMD) and a self-built dataset (Bullet-Hole), the experimental results showed that the proposed method has a significant advantage in terms of overall performance metrics, comparing to that state-of-the-art method.

We propose that domain walls formed in a classical Ginzburg-Landau model can exhibit topologically stable but thermodynamically metastable states. This proposal relies on Allen-Cahn's assertion that the velocity of domain wall is proportional to the mean curvature at each point. From this assertion we speculate that domain wall behaves like a rubber band that can winds the background geometry in a nontrivial way and can exist permanently. We numerically verify our proposal in two and three spatial dimensions by using various boundary conditions. It is found that there are possibilities to form topologically stable domain walls in the final equilibrium states. However, these states have higher free energies, thus are thermodynamically metastable. We consider a model consists of the Einstein gravity in four-dimensional spacetime, a Proca field and two Dirac fields through minimum coupling. By numerically solving this model, we obtain two types of solutions: synchronized frequency solutions and non-synchronized frequency solutions. We find that in the case of two kinds of matter fields, different families of solutions can be obtained in both synchronized and non-synchronized frequency cases, and the two families can shift to each other when certain parameters are changed. Moreover, we calculate the binding energy of multi-field solutions and give the relationship between binding energy $E$ and synchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}$ (non-synchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}_P$), so as to analyze the stability of the corresponding family., Comment: 22 pages, 9 figures

We use experiments to study the evolution of bubble clusters in a swarm of freely rising, deformable bubbles. A new machine learning-aided algorithm allows us to identify and track bubbles in clusters and measure the cluster lifetimes. The results indicate that contamination in the carrier liquid can enhance the formation of bubble clusters and prolong the cluster lifetimes. The mean bubble rise velocities conditioned on the bubble cluster size are also explored, and we find a positive correlation between the cluster size and the rise speed of the bubbles in the cluster, with clustered bubbles rising up to $20\%$ faster than unclustered bubbles.

In this paper, we reconsider the mixed system of BSs with wormholes at their center which performed by complex scalar field and phantom field and study a whole new condition about the potential. Both the symmetric and asymmetric solutions in the two asymptotically flat regions are obtained by using numerical method and we mainly explore the change of the results by varying the parameters of throats and potential. In ground state, we find there are multiple solutions at certain setting of parameters and with the increase of $\eta_0$ or decrease of $c$, the results gradually become single-valued functions and these two variables have similar influence to the curve shape of mass $M$ and charge $Q$, furthermore, the asymmetric solutions can turn into the solutions of symmetry at some frequency $\omega$ in certain $\eta_0$ and $c$. However, when it comes to excited state, the properties of solutions of symmetry is similar to the ground state while asymmetrical results exhibit altered characteristics. In this paper, we construct a hybrid boson star model that contains a complex scalar field and a Proca field. The scalar field is in the ground state, while the Proca field is in the first excited state. We numerically solve the model and obtain solution families of different coexisting states by considering both synchronized and nonsynchronized cases. By examining the relation between ADM mass and synchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}$ or nonsynchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}_P$, we identify several types of solution families for the hybrid boson stars. In addition to solutions that intersect the scalar field and the Proca field at each end, there are also several types of multi-branch coexisting state solutions. The characteristics of various solutions are analyzed and discussed in detail. We calculate the binding energy $E$ of the hybrid Proca-boson stars and provide the relationship between $E$ and both synchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}$ and nonsynchronized frequency $\tilde{\omega}_P$. We use experiments to explore the effect of surfactants on bubble-induced turbulence (BIT) at different scales, considering how the bubbles affect the flow kinetic energy, anisotropy and extreme events. To this end, high-resolution Particle Shadow Velocimetry measurements are carried out in a bubble column in which the flow is generated by bubble swarms rising in water for two different bubble diameters ($3$ mm $\&$ $4$ mm) and moderate gas volume fractions ($0.5\%\sim1.3\%$). To contaminate the flow, different amounts of 1-Pentanol were added to the flow, leading to different bubble shapes and surface boundary conditions. The results reveal that with increasing surfactant concentration, the BIT generated increases in strength, even though bubbles of a given size rise more slowly with surfactants. We also find that the level of anisotropy in the flow is enhanced with increasing surfactant concentration for bubbles of the same size, and that for the same surfactant concentration, smaller bubbles generate stronger anisotropy in the flow. Concerning the intermittency quantified by the normalized probability density functions of the fluid velocity increments, our results indicate that extreme values in the velocity increments become more probable with decreasing surfactant concentration for cases with smaller bubbles and low gas void fraction, while the effect of the surfactant is much weaker for cases with larger bubble and higher void fractions.

The Schwarzschild black hole in the Cold Dark Matter (CDM) halo is studied, and the radiation laws of the thin accretion disk near the black hole are discussed and summarized. The orbits of light around the black hole are also calculated. Additionally, using the Novikov-Thorne model's light intensity function of the thin accretion disk, it is possible to solve for the shadow created by the thin accretion disk near the Schwarzschild black hole as well as the observed luminosity of the disk., Comment: 23pages

In this study, we design the 3D-printed phononic crystal (PnC) beam with the topological interface state for harvesting the mechanical energy of flexural waves. The PnC beam is formed by arranging periodic grooves on its surface. The PnC beam with either topologically trivial or non-trivial phase can be achieved via changing the distance between the grooves. The topological interface state is then generated by combining two PnCs with distinct topological phases. The existence of the interface state of the PnC beam is verified both numerically and experimentally. To convert the mechanical energy into the electricity, a piezoelectric disc is attached at the interface of the proposed PnC beam. Compared to the reference beam harvester, the measured output power is significantly amplified by the PnC harvester at the frequency corresponding to the interface state. Furthermore, the PnC beam energy harvester based on the topological state exhibits robustness against geometrical disorders.
