Rural residents' enthusiasm and persistence for participation in tourism employment contribute to the sustainable development of destination tourism. Taking Majiagou village in Hebei Province as a case study, this research focused on changes to residents' participation behavior in tourism employment, using unstructured interviews and observations. Bounded rational decision theory was applied to delineate the decision-making process of tourism employment participation. The results indicated that rural residents' participation in tourism employment was subject to a dynamic process of change across three phases: trial participation, herd participation, and selective withdrawal. This evolution is specifically guided by an internal mechanism consisting of "tourism industry attributes—individual bounded rationality—individual employment decision-making." The study provides an effective analytical framework for characterizing the behavior of rural residents in a tourism community and offers managerial implications for the government to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of community participation. The purpose of this paper is to develop an estimation model for major stream delays at an unsignalized intersection under limited priority conditions. The key idea of this paper is that, when the minor stream drivers accept smaller major stream gaps, some drivers on the major road have to slow down their speeds and adjust their relative positions to avoid traffic accidents, incurring some delays. Assuming that headways in the major stream follow the M3 distribution, the delay for the first major stream vehicle after a limited priority merge is presented using acceptance gap theory and probability theory, and then recursive models are developed for the following major stream vehicles before the next merge. Finally, the precision of the method proposed in this paper is calibrated using field survey data from Changchun city, China, and the results show that the maximum, minimum, and average relative error of the 12 samples are approximately 30.38%, 9.04%, and 18.97%, respectively. Le present article vise a developper un modele d'estimation pour les principaux delais dans les flux a une intersection sans feux de circulation sous des conditions de priorite limite. L'idee principale de cet article est que, bien que les conducteurs des flux secondaires acceptent de plus petits espacements dans le flux principal, certains conducteurs sur la route principale doivent ralentir leur vitesse et ajuster leur position relative pour eviter les accidents, engendrant certains delais. En presumant que les espacements entre vehicules dans le flux principal suivent la distribution M3, le delai pour le premier vehicule du flux principal, apres une bretelle d'engagement a priorite limitee, est presente en utilisant la theorie de l'acceptation de l'espacement et la theorie des probabilites; des modeles recursifs sont ensuite developpes pour les vehicules suivants du flux principal avant la prochaine bretelle d'engagement. Finalement, la precision de la methode proposee dans cet article est etalonnee en utilisant les donnees d'un sondage sur le terrain dans la ville de Changchun, Chine. Les resultats montrent que les erreurs relatives maximale, minimale et moyenne des 12 echantillons sont respectivement d'environ 30,38 %, 9,04 % et 18,97 %. This article presents a case study of a 61-year-old male with a large sacrococcygeal mass. The patient underwent a combination of transabdominal and trans-sacrococcygeal approaches to remove the tumor. The procedure was successful, and the patient recovered well postoperatively. The article emphasizes the importance of careful surgical technique to avoid tumor rupture. This is the first reported case of this specific surgical approach. After initiation of treatment with penicillin on the first day, no obvious clinical Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction was found. However, 6 days after treatment, the patient was found more irritable and was unable to fall asleep at night. On the seventh day, worsened magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) abnormalities in the bilateral medial and anterior temporal lobes were unexpectedly discovered. These worsened MRI abnormalities improved quickly after the addition of dexamethasone treatment. We consider that these transient and slight mental symptoms may be associated with the transiently worsening phenomenon in cerebral MRI findings during the early period of treatment with penicillin. This indicates that some nonspecific inflammatory process has happened in the early stage of treatment, which necessitates the use of corticosteroids after the occurrence of systemic or mental symptoms.
