1. Inquiry and Debate in Science Learning: Potential Strategy for Improving Students' Scientific Argumentation Skills

Abstract

Scientific argumentation skills are a key component of science learning practices needed by students in the 21st century. Where the essence of scientific argumentation is to support the argument with evidence and reasoning and then refute the claims and evidence of the opponent's argument. Supporting arguments with evidence and reasoning can be facilitated through inquiry activities. Meanwhile, refuting claims and evidence from opposing arguments can be facilitated through debate activities. Inquiry and debate can be a solution to improving students' scientific argumentation skills. This study aims to prove the truth of this statement through a systematic literature review by applying the PRISMA 2020 criteria which are expanded by bibliometric analysis with the help of the VOSviewer software. The results of the study show that research related to inquiry, debate, and their influence on students' scientific argumentation skills has a pretty good trend. In Indonesia the research climate is still quite good, research topics are still in great demand, and it is very possible to carry out research innovations on related topics. Another finding is that the integration of inquiry and debate in science learning can be a potential strategy to improve students' scientific argumentation skills.

Abstract

In this industrial revolution 4.0 era, professional science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) bachelor must have various skills. One of which is problem-solving skills. The development of problem-solving skills (PSS) is very important in higher education. Students must have PSS that must be improved to become excellent graduates, including physics bachelor candidates. Many physics bachelor candidates lack problem-solving skills. This problem is the basis for developing innovative learning models based online that, by design, can improve the problem-solving skills of physics bachelor candidates in the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness ORNE learning model in improving the problem-solving skills of physics bachelor candidates as an alternative to online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used a true-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design with 58 physics bachelor candidates. Data collected using the problem-solving skills test and then analyzed using the Paired Sample Test, Effect Size, N-gain, and Independent Sample Test. The results showed that the ORNE learning model proved effective in improving physics bachelor candidates' problem-solving skills. This research implies that the ORNE learning model can improve physics bachelor candidates' problem-solving skills as an alternative to online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic.

3. The Impact of Inquiry-Based Online Learning with Virtual Laboratories on Students' Scientific Argumentation Skills

Abstract

Scientific argumentation is a higher-order thinking skill that is a major focus in education in the 21st century. This is a skill that plays an important role in knowledge construction which in reality is rarely implemented in science learning. The facts show that most students have low scientific argumentation skills and still need to be improved. In improving scientific argumentation skills, the learning design used must give students more opportunities to build and criticize arguments, make claims, and use evidence in the process of reasoning based on inquiry activities. Based on the results of previous research, it is known that inquiry-based learning has extraordinary potential in developing students' scientific argumentation skills. Interestingly, no research has been found that reveals the effect of inquiry-based online learning on students' scientific argumentation skills. Therefore, this study aims to determine the impact of inquiry-based online learning with a virtual laboratory on students' scientific argumentation skills. This study uses a onegroup pretest-posttest design with n-gain analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of inquiry-based online learning with a virtual laboratory can improve students' scientific argumentation skills. Uniquely, this only significantly impacts the claim, evidence, and reasoning components, but not the counterclaim and rebuttal components.

Abstract

Metacognition skills such as procedural knowledge, declarative knowledge, conditional knowledge, planning, monitoring, and evaluating are needed to understand problem-solving skills such as controlling and self-evaluation, planning and application, plan analysis, and understanding the problem. This study aims to describe problem-solving skills and student cognition in solving problems in physics subjects of XI IPA students in SMA Negeri 8 Samarinda. The population of the study sample amounted to 116 students grouped based on the results of physics achievement tests as many as 40 questions, divided into three groups, namely: groups of 32 students (28%), middle groups 61 students (53%), and groups under 23 students (20%). The research method used is a descriptive approach to the form of research in the form of case studies. Indicators of problem-solving skills, consisting of understanding the problem, analysis of the problem, planning, application of the plan, controlling & self-evaluation (UAPAC + SE). While metacognition uses the indicator of the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the average problem-solving skills of upper group students (68%) are the high category, middle group students (34%), and lower group students (33%) are low categories. While the average metacognition skills are upper group students (66%) in the high category, middle group students (36%), and lower group students (33%) in the low category.

5. KAJIAN AWAL TENTANG b Value GEMPA BUMI DI SUMATRA

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren gempa bumi di Sumatra dan kemungkinan implikasinya terhadap gempa bumi yang akan datang dengan menggunakan b value sebagai precursor. Data statistik gempa bumi yang digunakan adalah gempa bumi dengan magnitudo mulai dari 4 sampai 8,5 dan dengan kedalaman 0 sampai 70 km. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan metode statistik dengan formula empirik dari Gutenberg and Richter. Kecenderungan kejadian gempa bumi semakin meningkat selama 49 tahun terakhir. Bahkan setelah gempa bumi tahun 2004 peningkatan kejadian gempa bumi semakin tajam. Hal ini diduga disebabkan oleh proses pencapaian keseimbangan energi yang dialami oleh lempeng, sehingga terjadi gempa bumi-gempa bumi susulan yang berkelanjutan sampai terjadi keseimbangan energi. Nilai konstanta b value gempa bumi di Sumatra tergolong rendah, yaitu 0,865. Nilai ini menggambar tingkat stress yang tinggi, sehingga peluang besar terjadinya gempa bumi besar akan terjadi lagi di Sumatra.

6. ESTIMASI DURASI, ARAH DAN PANJANG RUPTURE SERTA LOKASI-LOKASI GEMPA SUSULAN MENGGUNAKAN PERHITUNGAN CEPAT

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengestimasi durasi rupture gempabumi yang terjadi dilautan Hindia (Aceh, Mentawai dan Jawa) yang selama ini dikenal rawan terjadi tsunami yang diakibatkan gempabumi. Kedua, untuk mengestimasi arah rupture dan lokasi-lokasi terjadinya gempa susulan. Estimasi durasi rupture gempabumi dikerjakan dengan menggunakan prosedur langsung, yaitu (1) memfilter seismogram kecepatan komponen vertikal yang direkam oleh jaringan IRIS-DMC dengan menggunakan filter Butterworth pada frekuensi tinggi (1 – 5 Hz), (2) melakukan picking waktu kedatangan gelombang P secara otomatis, (3) menentukan root mean square (RMS) dari amplitudo, (4) mengukur keterlambatan waktu kedatangan gelombang P pada 90% (T0,9), pada 80% (T0,8), pada 50% (T0,5) dan pada 20% amplitude (T0,2), dan (5) menghitung dan menampilkan hasil perhitungan durasi rupture secara cepat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam riset ini dapat diketahui banwa durasi rupture gempabumi dapat diestimasi secara cepat (± 0,5 menit setelah gempa bumi terjadi) dan akurat. Selain itu, didapatkan informasi bahwa durasi rupture gempabumi memberikan informasi ekstra, yaitu jika durasi rupture gempabumi lebih besar atau sama dengan 50 detik, gempabumi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan gempa bumi. Bahkan untuk gempabumi dengan tipe faulting-nya strike-slip bisa berpotensi menimbulkan tsunami jika durasi rupture-nya lebih besar dari 50 detik. Durasi rupture juga memberi informasi tentang arah dan panjang rupture, sehingga lokasi-lokasi yang berpeluang terjadi gempa bumi susulan dapat diestimasi. Kata kunci: Perhitungan cepat, durasi rupture, arah dan panjang rupture, peringatan dini tsunami.

Abstract

Kajian kegempaan suatu wilayah terutama di daerah rawan gempa bumi seperti Jawa Timur sangat diperlukan dalam rangka mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat bencana gempa bumi. Dalam konteks ini, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat seismisitas di wilayah Jawa Timur antara tahun 1999-2013 yaitu dengan menganalisis hubungan antara frekuensi kejadian gempa bumi (N) dan magnitudo gempa bumi (M). Rumus umum yang digunakan, yaitu log N = a – bM. Gradien persamaan ini atau nilai b merupakan parameter tektonik yang menggambarkan sifat batuan pada daerah yang diteliti sedangkan nilai a menggambarkan aktivitas tektonik wilayah yang diamati. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder parameter gempa bumi dari bank data seismologi IRIS dengan magnitudo 4,0-10,0 SR pada kedalaman 0-200 km yang berlokasi antara 110o-115o BT dan 5o-10o LS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode maximum likelihood, didapatkan besarnya parameter seismisitas untuk wilayah 1 diperoleh nilai a sebesar 11,7 dan nilai b sebesar 1,86. Sementara untuk wilayah 2 diperoleh nilai a sebesar 9,69 dan nilai b sebesar 1,49. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa wilayah 1 memiliki tingkat seismitas yang lebih besar dibandingkan wilayah 2. Sedangkan nilai b pada kedua wilayah relatif sama. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa batuan pada wilayah Jawa Timur memiliki heterogenitas yang rendah.

Abstract

Has been done research for knowing skills process which owned by students after applying method video analysis software Tracker in grade X SMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. Purpose of this research was describe enforceability of learning, skills science process which owned students after applying method of video analysis software Tracker, students activity , the response of students, and constraints which faced when learning process. Type of this research is Descriptive Quantitative with design one group pretest posttest, one class were given treatment and replicated one time. From the the results obtained can be concluded that the skill process of students in terms observing, measuring, designing experimenting, interpretationing the data, and communicating after applying method video analysis software Tracker experiencing increases in both quality and quantity. Wherein enforceability of the learning was good, activity students that very good, the response of students that also good, some constraints which emerged moment learning activities has been resolved. By quantity visible from increase in the number students who pass within work on the questions of skills process. In quality is the increase score average each class at the time post test compared the results pre test. Key words: skills process, method video analysis software Tracker. Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses yang dimiliki siswa setelah menerapkan metode analisis video software Tracker di kelas X SMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki siswa setelah menerapkan metode analisis video software Tracker, aktivitas siswa, respon siswa, dan kendala yang dihadapi pada saat pembelajaran. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest posttest, satu kelas yang diberi perlakuan dan direplikasi satu kali. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses siswa dalam hal mengamati, mengukur, merancang eksperimen, interpretasi data, dan berkomunikasi setelah menerapkan metode analisis video software Tracker mengalami kenaikan baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Dimana keterlaksaan pembelajaran yang baik, aktivitas siswa yang sangat baik, respon siswa yang juga baik, beberapa kendala yang muncul saat kegiatan pembelajaran telah dapat diatasi. Secara kuantitas terlihat dari peningkatan jumlah siswa yang tuntas dalam mengerjakan soal keterampilan proses. Secara kualitas adalah peningkatan skor rata-rata tiap kelas pada saat post tes dibandingkan hasil pre tes. Kata kunci: keterampilan proses, metode analisis video software Tracker.

9. COULOMB STRESS CHANGES DUE TO RECENT ACEH EARTHQUAKES

Abstract

Coulomb stress change analysis has been applied to understand whether the 2013/07/02 (Mw=6.1) has been triggered by 2013/01/21 earthquake (Mw=6.1) the proximity to failure on the Aceh segment of Sumatra Fault Zone (SFZ). We examine the problem of how one earthquake might trigger another using Coulomb stress changes plotting. To plot the Coulomb stress changes, we used Global CMT data for the both earthquakes and used GEOFON data for manually revised epicenters of its aftershocks. The earthquakes are located on Aceh segment of the historic no recorded large earthquake. Coulomb stress changes modeling of the both earthquakes and plot their aftershocks. Surprisingly, the 2013/07/02 earthquake is located on increasing Coulomb stress changes region of 2013/01/21 earthquake plotting. Here explain that the 2013/07/02 earthquake has been triggered by the 2013/01/21 earthquake. Further, the two aftershocks of the 2013/07/02 earthquake is located on increasing Coulomb stress changes region of 2013/07/02 earthquake plotting. So that, the aftershocks has been triggered by increasing Coulomb stress changes of the 2013/07/02 earthquake.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diperolehnya suatu informasi tentang kondisi geologi, geofisika dan hidrogeologi di wilayah Kota Surabaya, diperolehnya kerangka acuan dalam pengambilan kebijakan perkotaan terkait mitigasi bencana maupun pembangunan kota berdasarkan potensi kebumian dan diperolehnya manfaat hasil-hasil penelitian bidang geologi dan geofisika bagi peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat Kota Surabaya. melalui tahap inventarisasi yang Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data sekunder dan studi literature yang meliputi; inventarisasi data geofisika, inventarisasi data geologi dan inventarisasi data seismologi yang meliputi pengumpulan data kegempaan dari tahun ke tahun yang merusak dan dirasakan penduduk Surabaya, data seismotektonik Surabaya. Tahap selanjutnya adalah kajian dan analisa data peta topografi dan geologi. Pada tahap ini yang dilakukan analisa/interpretasikan data dari peta dasar citra satelit resolusi tinggi, studi literatur dan kebijakan yang terkait. Pada tahap evaluasi dan pemetaan hasil, yang dilakukan adalah kompilasi, evaluasi dan interpretasi data geologi, geofisika dan hidrogeologi. Tahap akhir adalah merumuskan secara makro tentang arahan kebijakan mitigasi bencana dan pembangunan bawah bumi yang dapat dilakukan. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini adalah titik pertama lokasi di sebelah barat kampus Stikom Surabaya di Sebelah barat Kampus Stikom Surabaya. Di dapatkan pada kedalaman (0,44–5,48 dan 0,44–5,48) lapisan atas didominasi oleh selang seling lapisan aquiver asin dan payau.Aquiver produktif rendah sampai sedang (aquiver tawar) berupa pasir sisipan lempung, pasir, pasir sisipan kerikil. Diperkirakan aquiver ini berada di kedalaman mulai 25 hingga 100 meter. Titik kedua lokasi di Jl. Kenjeran - Mulyorejo Surabaya. Di dapatkan lapisan atas didominasi oleh selang seling lapisan aquiver asin, payau dan tawar. Akuifer produktif rendah sampai sedang berupa pasir sisipan lempung, pasir, pasir sisipan kerikil. Diperkirakan aquiver ini berada di kedalaman mulai 40 hingga 100 meter. Titik Ketiga Lokasi Jl. Raya Tandes Margomulyo Surabaya. Di dapatkan bahwa lapisan atas didominasi oleh lapisan aquiver asin. Berdasarkan gambar penampang tersebut terlihat bahwa terdapat dua batas antara lapisan aluvium dan formasi Kabuh, dan juga terlihat adanya fenomena dorongan pengisian siklus hidrologi yang menyusup melewati formasi Kabuh, mengingat formasi ini didominasi oleh lapisan lempung, pasir, kerikil dengan tingkat porositas sedang hingga tinggi. Aquiver tawar diduga berada di kedalaman mulai 40 hingga 100 meter.Titik Keempat di Timur Kampus UWK Surabaya. Di dapatkan bahwa lapisan atas didominasi oleh lapisan aquiver asin. Berdasarkan gambar penampang tersebut terlihat bahwa terdapat dua batas antara lapisan aluvium dan formasi Kabuh, dan juga terlihat adanya fenomena dorongan pengisian siklus hidrologi yang menyusup melewati formasi Kabuh.

13. Exploring Augmented Reality-Based Learning Media Implementation in Solar System Materials

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to analyze the impact of using augmented reality (AR) based learning media on understanding Solar System material. The focus is on evaluating the effectiveness of AR in improving the learning process, particularly on Solar System materials. Methods: The research method used is a literature review by searching for related journals indexed by Scopus within the last five years, from 2018 to 2023. The selected literature was then analyzed to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of AR in Solar System learning. Results: Analysis of the literature shows that using AR technology as a learning medium positively impacts understanding of Solar System concepts. There is an increase in student engagement and learning effectiveness through AR. Novelty: This study reveals that using AR-based learning media on solar system material can improve understanding of Solar System concepts. This finding invites researchers, teachers, and the government to develop and consider the implementation of AR in the context of astronomy learning.

14. The Role of Brain-Based Learning in Training Students' Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to determine the role of brain-based learning in training students' critical thinking skills. Method: The research method used is a review article from 20 main scientific articles obtained from Google Scholar, Google, and Science Direct online with the keywords brain-based learning and critical thinking skills. Results:  The results show that brain-based learning can be applied to gain critical thinking skills in mathematics and natural science material compared to conventional learning. Brain-based learning notes how the brain processes and interprets information after processing. A learning method that aligns with how the brain functions naturally will help students become more adept at critical thinking. Novelty: One of the most challenging issues of the 20th century is the improvement of information technology and the environment. Building quality human resources is a strategic and critical function of high-quality education. Today's students need to learn how to think critically.

20. Application of Learning Technology in Domino Card Games on a large scale and individually to the responses of senior high school students

Abstract

Learning by applying game technology in learning media will attract students' attention. This study uses a domino physics game with quantities and units as materials. Each card will be printed with a barcode containing information regarding the principal amount, unit, symbol, and dimensions. The process of making physics domino card media uses the ADDIE development model. The trial was conducted on 133 class X students at one of the SHS in the Pamekasan and Surabaya Regencies. The results of the validation of the physics domino cards in the media aspect obtained a very valid average category value, and the material aspects got a very valid average category value. The results of the average percentage of responses of Al Amien Pamekasan senior high school students after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness obtained scores in the very good category. The results of the average percentage of responses from Pamekasan 4 senior high school students after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness obtained scores in the very good category. The average percentage of senior high school 9 Surabaya responses after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness received scores in the very good category. Domino physics learning media can make it easier for students to understand the material in quantities and units and instill a strong will to learn physics.

21. Implementation of the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) Model in Physics Learning of 2012-2021: Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract

Argumentation is a core practice of scientific discourse. One of the problems in learning science is the low level of argumentation skills of students. Efforts to improve argumentation skills include implementing the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model. This study aims to identify the contribution and find out the trend of applying ADI in physics learning in 2012-2021. The method used in this research is a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data with the help of MS Excel and VOSviewer to visualize the metadata obtained. The results of this study obtained 100 documents. The development of ADI every year does not have a significant increase in the number of publications produced. Research visualization using VOSviewer produces 14 clusters and is closely related to argumentative learning, guided inquiry, and so on. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the ADI has several contributions to science learning, mostly done in Chemistry, and it is still rare in Physics, so it can be an opportunity for further research. It is hoped that further research can discuss more deeply the ADI learning model, which is applied to physics learning to improve students' argumentation skills.

This study aims to describe the profile of students' critical thinking skills and the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) models assisted by digital worksheets to improve students' critical thinking skills In Learning Science On Motion And Force Materials. Method: The research design is quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 102 students at SMPN 4 Waru with a simple random sampling method. Critical thinking skills tests are analyzed per indicator, which consists of giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, giving advanced explanations, and setting strategies and tactics. Results:  Based on the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the average proportion of students' thinking skills was in the low category. The indicator that gets the highest percentage is giving a simple explanation at the lowest indicator is setting strategy and tactics. Several factors cause this: learning rarely leads students to train and improve their critical thinking skills, the evaluation instruments used primarily using low cognitive tests, and the learning loss factor students experience while studying at home due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Novelty: Based on several research sources, it was concluded that applying the PBL model assisted by digital worksheets could effectively improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning.

Abstract

Objective: Toulmin's Argument Pattern (TAP) is the most widely used argumentation pattern and was first used in science education. TAP has a significant contribution as literature in explaining the concept of argumentation. This study aims to identify the contribution and describe the research profile of applying TAP in physics education during the last ten years. Method: The method used in this research is a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data with the help of MS Excel and VOSviewer. The results of this study obtained 67 documents related to TAP. Results:  Based on the results of bibliometric data visualization related to TAP, 4 clusters (1) discuss TAP focused on learning processes and activities in the classroom. (2) the application of TAP focused on assessing argumentation and critical thinking skills (3) TAP was associated with the identification of the components of scientific argumentation (4) TAP related to contextual problem-solving in improving scientific literacy. Novelty: Physics is the subject that appears the most in research related to the use of TAP, among other science subjects. Based on the results of this study, TAP has several contributions to physics learning in improving students' argumentation skills so that it can be an opportunity for further research. That way, the next one will be able to discuss more deeply related to the TAP, which is applied to physics learning to improve argumentation and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Learning by applying game technology in learning media will attract students' attention. This study uses a domino physics game with quantities and units as materials. Each card will be printed with a barcode containing information regarding the principal amount,  unit, symbol, and dimensions. The process of making physics domino card media uses the ADDIE development model. The trial was conducted on 133 class X students at one of the SHS in the Pamekasan and Surabaya Regencies. The results of the validation of the physics domino cards in the media aspect obtained a very valid average category value, and the material aspects got a very valid average category value. The results of the average percentage of responses of Al Amien Pamekasan senior high school students after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness obtained scores in the very good category. The results of the average percentage of responses from Pamekasan 4 senior high school students after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness obtained scores in the very good category. The average percentage of senior high school 9 Surabaya responses after using the domino physics media with indicators of ease of obtaining, interest, and usefulness received scores in the very good category. Domino physics learning media can make it easier for students to understand the material in quantities and units and instill a strong will to learn physics.

28. ANALISIS SEISMISITAS DAN POTENSI BAHAYA BENCANA SEISMIK PULAU SUMATERA BERDASARKAN DATA GEMPA 1970-2020

Abstract

Seismisitas Sumatera dan potensi bencana gempa tektonik dapat dipelajari melalui analisis parameter -value, -value, dan anomali -value. Nilai merefleksikan level seismisitas, nilai menunjukkan level stres batuan geologi bawah permukaan, dan anomali nilai bisa menjadi prekursor gempa besar. Ketiga parameter tersebut secara akurat diperoleh dengan memanfaatkan statistik frekuensi-magnitudo (FMD) gempa dari katalog USGS antara 1970-2020 dengan magnitudo antara 4,0 9,5 dan kedalaman mencapai 640 km. Kurva FMD menjadi basis penerapan hukum Gutenberg-Richter melalui pendekatan maximum likelihood. Perhitungan ketiga parameter dilakukan dengan membagi wilayah Sumatera menjadi Zona 1, Zona 2, dan Zona 3. Hasil-hasil perhitungan untuk Zona 1: = 6,02 dan = 0,76; Zona 2: = 6,50 dan = 0,84; dan Zona 3: = 6,86 dan = 0,88. Anomali nilai untuk ketiga zona seismik dinyatakan sebagai peta variasi spasio-temporal -value. Berdasarkan definisi -value dan -value, maka seismisitas Zona 3 (selatan Sumatera) paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan zona lain sedangkan struktur batuan bawah permukaan Zona 1 (utara Sumatera) memiliki stres paling tinggi yang relevan dengan peristiwa gempa besar yang sering terjadi. Analisis variasi spasio-temporal -value menemukan kesesuaian lokasi episenter gempa besar dengan daerah-daerah yang memiliki nilai yang rendah baik pada Zona 1, Zona 2 maupun Zona 3. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa -drop dapat digunakan sebagai indikator gempa besar, sama seperti temuan terdahulu yang relevan dengan seismisitas Sumatera. Analisis histogram kedalaman sumber menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas gempa Sumatera adalah gempa dangkal dengan kedaaman rata-rata dalam rentang 30-40 km. Dengan demikian, seluruh wilayah Pulau Sumatera adalah rentan terhadap potensi bahaya bencana gempa tektonik. Parameter -value reflects seismicity level, -value indicates the level of stress on subsurface structure, and -value anomaly is a precursor for a large event. The parameters were accurately calculated from USGS earthquake catalogue for frequency-magnitude distribution (FMD) in Sumatera between 1970-2020 with magnitudes 4.0 9.5 and the depths reaching 640 km beneath the surface. The FMD is a basis for the application of Gutenberg-Richter law through a maximum likelihood approach. Parameter calculation was performed by dividing Sumatera into Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3. The results were for Zone 1: = 6.02 and = 0.76; Zone 2: = 6.50 and = 0.84; and Zone 3: = 6.86 and = 0.88. The anomaly was given as maps of spatio-temporal -value variations. Based on -value and -value definitions, seismicity in Zone 3 is the highest while subsurface structure in Zone 1 shows the highest stress, relevant to frequent large occurrences in this zone. Analysis of spatial and temporal -value anomalies found correlation between locations of large earthquake epicentres and regions of low-lying -value in all seismic zones. This suggests that b-drop is a good indicator for a large event, in good agreement with previous findings relevant to Sumatera seismicity. Analysis of earthquake source reveals that shallow sources are dominant with the average depth lies between 30-40 km. Thus, the whole island is vulnerable to seismic hazards. Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic prevention policy has the impact of reducing practicum programs that should be trained for students. In this paper, we show how a video tracker has been effective in achieving straight motion practicum and determining the moon gravity by using e-learning, group discussion, free fall motion video analysis on the moon's gravity acceleration. After the application of the video tracker, the results of quantitative and qualitative data analysis showed that the 2018 class students from physics science education of the State University of Surabaya had significant experiences and commented positively on their experiences. Students show that they are satisfied with the practicum environment by using a video tracker, and the application of a video tracker to determine the moon's gravitational acceleration to improve their skill proficiency in conducting an experiment. The straight motion practicum and the determination of the moon's gravity acceleration by using the video tracker tool described in this paper can be used as a reference to ensure the quality of the online science practicum program during the Covid-19 pandemic. The investigation results show that a video tracker-based practicum environment can train science laboratory skills in the form of predicting, observing, explaining, and analysing video data on scientific phenomena.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan critical thinking skill siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E terintegrasi STEM. Eksperimen ini dilaksakan di SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya pada semester dua tahun ajaran 2020/2021 menggunakan sistem pembelajaran daring dengan bantuan aplikasi Google Meet. Jenis riset yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one grup pretest posttest. Siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya menjadi populasi penelitian dan melibatkan dua kelas yakni kelas XI MIPA 5 dan 6 sebagai sampel dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Hasil pretest dan posttest selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan tes prasyarat. Syarat untuk dapat menghitung menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan N-gain adalah skor pretest serta posttest masing-masing harus terdistribusi normal yang diperoleh dari perhitungan uji normalitas serta uji homogenitas. Gambar grafik rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest dari kedua kelas dapat digunakan untuk melihat peningkatan critical thinking skill siswa. Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah menurunkan penghasilan, menghilangkan pekerjaan, mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat. Tanpa kecuali masyarakat desa Iker Iker Cerme Gresik harus bisa mengatasi dan bangkit melalui hasil panen Cabe mereka. Pandemi mempengaruhi penjualan cabe beserta olahannya dan bidang kuliner yang memanfaatkannya. Cabe merupakan bahan pokok yang tidak stabil harga dan pasokannya, cuaca dan kondisi alam sangat mempengaruhi produktivitasnya. Kekeringan yang panjang dan hujan yang berlebihan menjadi kendala bagi petani Cabe. Harga cabe yang terus melambung, membuat tengkulak menangguk untung sesaat tetapi masyarakat umum yang resah. Harga Cabe mahal saat stok di petani habis atau menipis. Kisaran harga yang terlalu fluktuatif tersebut mengganggu bagi petani dan masyarakat serta bidang wirausaha kuliner yang berbahan dasar Cabe. Solusi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut tim PkM Unesa berkolaborasi, bersinergi mengedukasi ibu-ibu PKK menangani hasil cabe dengan diversifikasi olahan berbahan dasar cabe. Dilakukan pelatihan dengan metode tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan praktek untuk menghasilkan olahan yang variatif menjadi abon cabe, saus cabe, stik cabe, aneka sambal cabe, bubuk cabe, berkedel cabe, yang higienis dengan pengemasannya. Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan menyebabkan ibu-ibu PKK desa Iker Iker memiliki keterampilan pengolahan Cabe dan timbul jiwa wira usaha baru untuk menambah penghasilan bagi keluarga dimasa Pandemi Covid-19.

36. Pengembangan LKPD Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Terintegrasi STEM Menggunakan PhET Simulation Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

Penelitian serta pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang terlatihnya keterampilan peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo dalam aspek berpikir kritis. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat terwujudnya LKPD yang valid, praktis serta efektif digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar, utamanya dalam melatih dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini merupakan kategori penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan metode ADDIE dengan peserta didik SMA kelas XI MIPA sebagai sasaran percobaannya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil yang mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Tingkat LKPD yang divalidasi oleh dua dosen pendidikan fisika memperoleh skor validasi sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat valid. Skor tersebut menyiratkan bahwa LKPD valid digunakan dalam pembelajaran 2) Tingkat kepraktisan LKPD yang didapatkan melalui angket respon dari peserta didik memperoleh skor kepraktisan sebesar 85,9 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Skor tersebut menandakan bahwa peserta didik memperlihatkan reaksi positif terhadap pengembangan LKPD 3) Tingkat keefektifan LKPD yang didapatkan dari perhitungan skor N-gain memperoleh skor 0,56 dengan kategori sedang. Skor tersebut membuktikan bahwa aspek pemikiran kritis peserta didik berkembang setelah penggunaan LKPD dalam pembelajaran. Berlandaskan hasil tersebut, maka d apat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terintegrasi STEM menggunakan media PhET Simulation ini telah memenuhi tolok ukur valid, praktis serta efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis. Abstract The research and development of Student Worksheet (LKPD) was conducted by the lack of training in the skills of students of Driyorejo 1 Public High School in the critical thinking aspect. Through this research, it is hoped that a valid, practical and effective LKPD can be used in the teaching and learning process, especially in training and improving critical thinking skills. This research is a development research category that used the ADDIE method with high school students in class XI MIPA as the experimental target. Based on the research that has been done, the results showed that: 1) The level of LKPD which was validated by two physics education lecturers obtained a validation score of 96% with a very valid category. This score implied that the LKPD is valid for use in learning 2) The practicality level of the LKPD was obtained through the response questionnaire from students obtained a practicality score of 85.9 with the very practical category. This score indicates that students show a positive reaction to the development of LKPD. 3) The level of effectiveness of the LKPD obtained from the calculation of the N-gain score obtains a score of 0.56 in the moderate category. This score proves that the critical thinking aspects of students develop after the use of LKPD in learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the STEM integrated guided inquiry learning worksheet using PhET Simulation media has met valid, practical and effective benchmarks to improve students' skills in critical thinking. 38. ESTIMASI KARAKTERISTIK SESAR YANG MENYEBABKAN GEMPA DI WILAYAH BANJARNEGARA MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE MTINV

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik sesar yang menyebabkan gempa dangkal yang terjadi di Banjarnegara dengan menggunakan software Moment Tensor Inversion (MTINV). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa waveform tiga komponen pada tanggal 18 April 2018 yang diunduh dari WebDC3 BMKG. Untuk estimasi Centroid Moment Tensor (CMT) sebagai parameter gempa digunakan metode inversi seismik dan fungsi Green tiga komponen yang diaplikasikan ke dalam software Moment Tensor Inversion (MTINV). Hasil estimasi Centroid Moment Tensor (CMT) adalah momen seismik (𝑀o), magnitudo momen (𝑀w), latitude, longitude, kedalaman sumber, dan orientasi bidang sesar (nodal plane/NP) yang meliputi sudut strike, dip, dan rake. Selain itu, solusi Centroid Moment Tensor (CMT) juga memberikan informasi penyebab terjadinya gempa yang meliputi komponen Isotropik (ISO), Double Couple (DC), dan Compensated Vertical Linear Dipole (CLVD) dalam persen. Hasil perhitungan inversi seismik menunjukkan bahwa gempa terjadi akibat aktivitas tektonik yang dibuktikan dengan persentase Double Couple (DC) lebih dominan daripada Double Couple (DC) dengan Variation Reduction (VR) 57.6%. Berdasarkan Variation Reduction (VR), maka hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dapat dikatakan valid karena telah memenuhi syarat. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik sesar yang menyebabkan gempa dangkal yang terjadi di Banjarnegara 18 April 2018 bertipe naik (reverse). The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of a three-component waveform on April 18, 2018 downloaded from WebDC3 BMKG. For centroid moment tensor (CMT) estimation as earthquake parameters used seismic inversion method and green function three components applied into Moment Tensor Inversion (MTINV) software. Centroid Moment Tensor (CMT) estimation results are seismic moment (Mo), moment magnitude (Mw), latitude, longitude, source depth, and nodal plane (NP) orientation that includes strike, dip, and rake angles. In addition, Centroid Moment Tensor (CMT) solutions also provide information on the causes of earthquakes including Isotropic (ISO), Double Couple (DC), and Compensated Vertical Linear Dipole (CLVD) components in percent. The results of seismic inversion calculations show that earthquakes occur as a result of tectonic activity as evidenced by the percentage of Double Couple (DC) more dominant than Double Couple (DC) with Variation Reduction (VR) of 57.6%. Based on Variation Reduction (VR), the results obtained in this study can be said to be valid because they are qualified. Thus it can be concluded that the characteristics of the sesar that caused the shallow earthquake that occurred in Banjarnegara On April 18, 2018 are up (reverse). Abstract

Argumentation is a core practice of scientific discourse. One of the problems in learning science is the low level of argumentation skills of students. Efforts to improve argumentation skills include implementing the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model. This study aims to identify the contribution and find out the trend of applying ADI in physics learning in 2012-2021. The method used in this research is a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data with the help of MS Excel and VOSviewer to visualize the metadata obtained. The results of this study obtained 100 documents. The development of ADI every year does not have a significant increase in the number of publications produced. Research visualization using VOSviewer produces 14 clusters and is closely related to argumentative learning, guided inquiry, and so on. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the ADI has several contributions to science learning, mostly done in Chemistry, and it is still rare in Physics, so it can be an opportunity for further research. It is hoped that further research can discuss more deeply the ADI learning model, which is applied to physics learning to improve students' argumentation skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Book on Static Fluid Content in Tutoring as an educational partner to improve students' numeracy literacy competence. E-Book development is carried out using the 4-D development model which consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The research instruments used were E-Book validation sheets and questions that were tested on material expert lecturers and media expert lecturers from Surabaya State University. The validation results show that the E-Book developed has a very valid quality, with a validity percentage of 97%. Aspects of presentation feasibility, content feasibility and linguistic feasibility in the E-Book as a whole meet the criteria of "Very Valid" (85-100%) based on the validity interpretation table. In addition, the validity of the pre-test and post-test questions in the E-Book also proved high with a validity percentage of 89%. The questions measure students' ability to identify facts, formulate mathematical problems, use mathematical concepts, facts, procedures, and reasoning in the context of static fluids, carry out calculations based on certain rules or formulas, and interpret numeracy to solve problems. With the results of a high percentage of validity, this Static Fluid E-Book is reliable and feasible to use as teaching material media in improving students' numeracy literacy competencies. Interactive features in the E-Book, such as "Go Watch", "Mind Map", "Go Information", "Go Concept", "Problem Drilling", and "Reflection", provide interesting and diverse learning experiences for students in understanding static fluid concepts.

Solusi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut tim PkM Unesa berkolaborasi, bersinergi mengedukasi ibu-ibu PKK menangani hasil cabe dengan diversifikasi olahan berbahan dasar cabe. Dilakukan pelatihan dengan metode tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan praktek untuk menghasilkan olahan yang variatif menjadi abon cabe, saus cabe, stik cabe, aneka sambal cabe, bubuk cabe, berkedel cabe, yang higienis dengan pengemasannya.  Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan menyebabkan ibu-ibu PKK desa Iker Iker memiliki keterampilan pengolahan Cabe dan timbul jiwa wira usaha baru untuk menambah penghasilan bagi keluarga dimasa Pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Alat praktikum adalah salah satu cara atau pedoman dalam menunjang pengembangan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kebutuhan dasar penyampaian materi, konsep serta informasi fisika oleh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan validitas alat praktikum rotation speed berbasis microcontroller pada materi gerak melingkar beraturan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, develop, implementation, evaluation). Validitas alat praktikum speed rotation berbasis microcontroller dinilai berdasarkan hasil yang dilakukan oleh validator alat praktikum. Berdasarkan dari data validasi oleh validator yang diperoleh persentase sebesar 87,5 %. Sehingga tingkat validitas alat praktikum berbasis microcontroller termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Abstract

Google Classroom ialah salah satu sumber belajar yang interaktif, yang memungkinkan peserta didik untuk berkomunikasi melalui virtual dengan melihat preentasi, video, berinteraksi dengan orang lain, dan terlibaat dalam sumber daya dalam bekerja kelompok. Agar dapat menerapkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan google classroom diperlukan perangkat pembelajaran fisika yag valid dan dapat mendukung penggunaan google classroom untuk mencapai kompetensi dasar yang hendak diberikan kepada peserta didik. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan validitas perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbantuan google classroom untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi terhadap peserta didik. kemampuan Efektivitas siswa dalam belajar menggunakan google classroom. menanggapi respon siswa dalam penerapan materi Hukum Newton dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif – kuantitatif. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil study literatur presentase validitas yang menunjukkan bahwa presentase validitas silabus sebesar 87,5%, presentase validitas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) sebesar sebesar 81,25% dengan kategori valid. Dengan hasil validasi Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sebesar 88,75% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan hasil validasi Kisi-kisi Soal sebesar 85,94% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan hasil validasi Angket Respon Siswa sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan hasil validasi Handout sebesar 83,9% dengan kategori dangat valid. Dengan hasil validasi Keterlaksanaan Pembelajaran sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sehingga perangkat pembelajaran yang diterpkan sangat valid digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika Kata Kunci: validitas, berpikir tingkat tinggi, google classroom, guided iquirydan Hukum Newton.

Abstract

At this 21st century, thinking ability for students based on High Order Thinking Skills. This research was to analyze learning device requirement science education by Problem Based Learning to increase High Order Thinking Skills junior high school. This research method is using 4D model. Learning tools developed consist of syllabus, lesson plans, work sheet, and assessment sheets. The device was tested in class IX with a total of 20 students in one of the junior high schools Pasuruan. Data collection using the method of validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive methods. The findings of the research are: (1) the validity of the learning kit with an average syllabus component, lesson plans, worksheet, and assessment sheet obtaining a very valid category so that it can be used in teaching and learning. (2) the practicality of learning tools is obtained from the implementation of lesson plans from two observers with very good categories so that it can be concluded practically in learning activities and the obstacles encountered during learning activities can be overcome without the learning process experiencing significant disturbances. (3) effectiveness is indicated by the increase in HOTS characterized by n-gain results were 19 students as high and 1 student as moderate, while the students' responses to the learning component are happy, interesting and makes learning material easy to understand. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the natural science learning material based on PBL model is feasible to increase HOTS.

47. Pengembangan Realtime Monitoring Berbasis Delphi 7 Sebagai Upaya Mitigasi Dini Bencana Tanah Longsor

Abstract

Monitoring secara realtime terhadap parameter tanah longsor merupakan suatu upaya mitigasi dini bencana tanah longsor. Teknologi sensor ketika diintegrasikan dengan teknologi interface visual menawarkan cara yang menjanjikan untuk memantau kondisi zona rawan longsor. Artikel ini menjelaskan sistem realtime monitoring dan warning system tanah longsor yang dilakukan oleh teknologi Delphi sebagai basis pengolah data. Sistem monitoring ini dibangun pada Personal Computer (PC) dengan input data dari sensor LSM menggunakan metode ADDIE. Sistem monitoring ini memberikan warning system dan pantauan perubahan parameter tanah longsor secara grafis dengan memperhitungkan faktor keamanan berdasarkan kontribusi kelembapan tanah dan pergeseran tanah pada kemiringan tertentu terhadap kerawanan longsor. Warning system ditampilkan secara spesifik ketika nilai-nilai yang dibatasi tercapai. Selain itu, sistem monitoring juga memberikan informasi mengenai waktu monitoring secara realtime dan nilai besaran parameter. Uji kelayakan sistem monitoring menunjukan bahwa sistem realtime monitoring akurat dengan akurasi 100%. Sehingga, diharapkan melalui teknologi realtime monitoring ini dapat memberikan peringatan dini tanah longsor yang cepat dan akurat sehingga mengurangi jatuhnya korban jiwa. Kata kunci: tanah longsor, realtime, monitoring, warning system Abstract Realtime monitoring of landslide parameters is an early effort to mitigate landslides. Sensor technology when integrated with visual interface technology offers a promising way to monitor landslide prone zones. The paper describes a landsliding monitoring and warning system that is carried out by Delphi technology as a data processing base. This monitoring system was built on a Personal Computer (PC) with LSM sensor data input using the ADDIE method. This monitoring system provides an early warning system and monitors changes in landslide parameters graphically by taking into account the safety factor based on the constribution of soil humidity and land shifts at a certain slope to landslide vulnerability. An early warning system that are specifically displayed when restricted values are reached. In addition, the monitoring system also provides information on realtime monitoring time and parameter value. Monitoring system feasibility test shows that the realtime monitoring system is accurate with 100% accuracy. Through this realtime monitoring technology it is expected to provide a quick and accurate early warning of landslides so as to reduce the victims. 48. Pengaruh Jarak Transmitter Dan Receiver Terhadap Performasi Modul HC12 Pada Prototipe LSM (Landslide Smart Mitigation)

Abstract

Pengiriman data melalui modul wireless dipilih pada perangkat prototipe karena lebih efisien dan cepat dalam transmisi data dengan jangkauan jarak tertentu. Selain itu, pengiriman dari transmitter ke receiver pada prototipe LSM dapat menampilkan hasil deteksi secara real time. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis kinerja pengiriman data modul HC12 pada prototipe LSM adalah metode eksperimen. Pengujian dilakukan dengan memanipulasi jarak dari transmitter ke recaiver setiap perubahan 50m. Parameter nilai deteksi sensor soil moisture dan potensiometer slider dikontrol pada nilai tertentu. Hasil yang didapatkan pada pengujian modul wireless HC12 pada prototipe LSM adalah ketika jarak antara transmitter dan receiver ≥750m, maka receiver (papan informasi digital) tidak dapat menampilkan nilai deteksi sensor sekaligus warning system. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya redaman dan juga noise pada saat penguijian performansi modul HC12 berlangsung. Akan teteapi, modul wireless HC12 lebih tepat dijadikan sebagai perangkat pengiriman data dari transmitter ke receiver pada prototipe LSM untuk monitoring bencana tanah longsor dibandingkan perangkat modul wireless yang lainnya. Sehingga, pemantauan dapat dilakukan secara cepat, akurat, dan real time untuk dapat mengurangi kerugian material dan korban jiwa. Kata kunci: modul wireless HC12; jarak transmisi; loss data Abstract Transmission of data via wireless module was chosen on prototype devices due to its efficiency and speed in transmitting data with a certain distance range. Additionally, transmitter dispatch to the receiver on a prototype of LSM can display the detection results in real time. The HC12 module on the LSM prototype is an experimental method. System evaluation was tested by manipulating the distance from the transmitter to the receiver every 50m. The parameters of the detection value of the soil moisture sensor and potentiometer slider are controlled at a certain value. The results of the HC12 wireless module evaluation on the prototype LSM are when the distance between the transmitter and the receiver ≥750m, the receiver (digital information board) cannot display the sensor detection value as well as the warning system. This is due to the attenuation and also noise during the performance measurement of the HC12 module. But the HC12 wireless module is more appropriate was used as a data transmission device from the transmitter to the receiver on the LSM prototype for monitoring landslides compared to other wireless module devices. Thus, monitoring can be done quickly, accurately, and in real time to be able to reduce material losses and casualties. Key words: HC12 wireless module; transmission distance; data loss

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika sangat terkait dengan data. Literasi data membentuk kerangka pengetahuan melalui aktivitas identifikasi data, interpretasi data, pemaknaan data, dan mengomunikasikan makna dari data. Namun demikian, prinsip-prinsip mengajarkan literasi data dan penilaiannya belum terumuskan dengan jelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan menunjukkan prinsip-prinsip pengajaran literasi data dan penilaiannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kajian pustaka dengan mengkaji artikel dari jurnal dan prosiding serta tesis terkait prinsip pembelajaran literasi data dan penilaiannya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip pengajaran dalam literasi data adalah proses pembelajaran, media dan bahan ajar, dan kemampuan peserta didik. Sementara, penilaian literasi data perlu dikaji berdasarkan aspek pengenalan data, pengumpulan dan pencatatan data, analisis data dan interpretasi, mengomunikasikan data, dan penggunaan data. Berdasarkan aspek-aspek penilaian literasi data, kemampuan literasi data dibagi menjadi literasi data tingkat dasar, literasi data tingkat menengah, dan literasi data tingkat atas Physics learning is closely related to data. Data literacy forms the framework of scientific knowledge through data identification activities, data interpretation, the meaning of data, and communication of data meaning results. However, the principles of teaching data literacy and its assessment are still not clear enough. This research aims to reveal the principles of teaching data literacy and its assessment. This research is a literature review by reviewing articles from journals, proceedings, and theses related to the principles of data literacy learning and its assessment. The results suggest that the principles in teaching data literacy include three key aspects: learning process, media and learning materials, and student competence. Meanwhile, the assessment of data literacy needs to be reviewed from aspects of data recognition, data collection and recording, data analysis and interpretation, communication data, and data use. These aspects are divided into basic data literacy, intermediate data literacy, and upper data literacy.
